Second time staying here. Cool little town, walking distance to shops, food store, and restaurants. Rooms are neat.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Fun event (music bingo) in lounge during our stay. Valet convenient and not over priced. Very walkable location.
No issues
Great location in the center of Santa Rosa- perfect for walking to shopping and restaurants. We had great fun at the Happy Hour Music Bingo in the lobby with other guests.
Location is great and the staff were exceptional.
The bathroom floors could have used a good cleaning. The room was on the small side for the cost but otherwise nice.
Location, cleanliness, modern and comfortable (bed).
They could have added certain PCs of pastries for their free breakfast☺️
Very friendly and courteous staff. Excellent location. Comfortable but smallish room. Dog friendly.
No spa or sauna.
Hotel was close to where our family lives in Santa Rosa. A lot of good restaurants in the area. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. A bit on the small size, but we were there only one night, so it really didn't bother us. We were able to bring our dog in the room, which really was a nice plus for us. Staff very friendly. Continental breakfast was a nice addition.
Nothing bad to say about hotel. It would have been nice to have an area right next to the hotel that was landscaped with lawn to walk dog. Area next to hotel was an empty lot, with uneven dirt and gravel. We went to park across the street to walk the dog, and there are a few unhoused people there. If I was without my husband I probably wouldn't have walked the dog there. The park is perfectly fine during the day.
We really enjoyed staying at Hotel E in Santa Rosa. From the check-in, to valet, to checkout it is a quality establishment. We stayed in a king room on the 4th floor and found it very quiet. However, we were there on a Sunday and Monday night, so the area was quiet. The hotel staff did tell us that if the square is busy, it can get loud in the hotel because it is an old building. The room felt very quality with nice furnishings, a nice bathroom, a nice shower, and nice linens. We stayed at six other places in the past two weeks and this was our top location for quality. Even though they include breakfast, it's not much more than good coffee, hard boiled eggs, packaged pastries, fruit, and some cereal, but it was enough to get us started for the day, though. The real question is, would we stay here again, and the answer is a definite yes. It's close to everything downtown and it's a top notch hotel.
The staff
The WiFi is just so bad, facilities is out dates and could use a cleaning. Loud

Staff are always AMAZING and helpful! The location is a perfect home base for traveling around the area - Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, SF, dining in Sebastopol, etc are all reachable by car, or transit. Summer activities planned by the city are available throughout the week, right outside at the town square! Coffee is excellent and local. Enology, their wine bas has a great selection of nibbles for an afternoon snack or drinks before or after dinner!
Breakfast could be improved, but it's not a deal breaker. There are numerous options for cafes within walking distance should you want more to start your day on.
It was/is a fantastic hotel!! Staff, especially the young man at night were fantastic!! Warm, friendly, helpful, thoughtful and very welcoming!! Easy check in! The place is immaculately clean and comfortable, great location right in downtown Santa Rosa! We were on a two week road trip & stayed in six hotels and the Hotel E was far & away the best one we stayed in! Had my best nights sleep in the Hotel E! We will definitely be coming back!! Oh and the coffee is outstanding!!! So few hotels coffee are!!
No complaints!
It’s in an excellent location. It was great to be able to pop downstairs and go straight to the farmers market and family movie night. Customer service was excellent.
We love the location of the hotel and the staff were extremely kind and had a nice recommendation for dinner, but we thoroughly enjoyed . The room was very clean and comfortable.
The room on the fourth floor number 407 overlooked the rooftop of the restaurant right next-door at night time the exhaust hood and the refrigeration equipment was making a loud humming noise or mechanical noise which kept me awake. It wasn’t until 3 AM that the fan finally turned off and I was able to go to sleep. Looking out the window and seeing the dirty roof top was not good.
Ambuance
The mattress is too soft .
Close to city center
Neighbor
Very clean and welcoming. I will definitely be staying here again.
I didn’t like that they didn’t have waffles, eggs, or sausage for breakfast they can and should do better.
A great hotel with a prime location. The room was pristine, featuring an exceptionally comfortable mattress and high-quality pillows that made for a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and friendly. The location is unbeatable - perfect for stepping right out the door to explore the downtown area on foot
The breakfast selection was very minimal, offering only a few bagels and basic cereals.
Staffing quite professional and supportive.
Breakfast. Extremely limited selection.
Good location.
We came on the night of the street fair and we were totally confused with the street being blocked off. Finally had to call for some directions. Our room was really small. Kind of hard for two adults to navigate around each other.
location was great, beautiful lobby, thoughtful and helpful staff, valet parking was great not sure about other parking options
arrived on Wednesday evening and was not aware of the soccer viewing screen, farmers market which made finding hotel and parking difficult
Pretty and updated hotel in center of downtown. 4th floor not facing the plaza a quiet room w good bed and pillows and plush towels. Rooms need to add a chair. Only place to sit is on the bed. Breakfast very average. Only protein is yogurt w too much sugar. Friendly and helpful staff especially valet.
Great location; friendly staff, great coffee!
View of brick wall from window
Good location. Very clean and comfortable room. Great bathroom and shower.
The cleaning staff never showed up on our second day in the hotel. Some of the staff seemed a bit unengaged.
Everything
Everything was amazing. Service from valet to check-in desk was friendly and welcoming. Truly a great place to stay in tbe heart of the city. Walkable to everything. Best location. Highly recommend.
Not a thing.
Convince, good location and new hotel
Parking
Every body has been exceptional friendly. We were always grateful for their services. Thank you ‼️
The room has no place to sit on it. I wished that have a chair to sit on it.

Nice property clean
great staff ! just great ! Cozy boutique design details :) Very central. Parking near by.
Breakfast is poor - just sugar mainly. So don’t expect going down in the morning to see smth warm and nurturing food wise.
Everyone at the hotel was great. Ingrid at the front desk was amazing! We ended up needing an earlier check-in, and she made it so easy!!! All the valet guys were great as well. I would 100% recommend staying there if you are in town.
Everything was great, no complaints.
Nice view from room
Room size
Nice and comfortable hotel in the middle of Santa Rosa. Close to everything. Beautiful and comfortable rooms.
A bit miserable door man.
excellent hotel especially for someone with disability needs. very clean, friendly staff, luxurious feel, super location, tasty breakfast. A real gem!
Great location, wonderful staff
nothing, it was great. I would stay again
Modern, well appointed room
Small room, and the people in the neighboring room could be heard. Parking not free
Booking.com overcharged for the room. The same room from the hotel website was almost 50% less. I did send an inquiry to Booking.com.
Great location
Common area, no lounge
Quiet & relaxing.

The staff were really kind, helpful and friendly. I liked the lounge and the reverse osmosis water dispenser that I used every day. Everything was well-kept and comfy. I also felt really safe there. The water pressure in the shower was terrific. It was also easy to turn the room temperature to a specific degree, which is a bonus. The bed was comfortable with 2 types of pillows, 2 soft and 2 harder ones.
The view from my hotel room wasn't great, it was of a side-street and I wish they had blackout blinds as I am sensitive to light and it would've been easier to sleep. And I wish they had a better chair for the desk, one with a back just in case I wanted to get some work done, but the lounge was a great place to do a conference call.
Only stayed for a night but I had a hiccup with my check in and the staff were extremely helpful and patient with me as we resolved the issue. Really did me a solid and I am very thankful. My room was clean (only slight minor things like a stray hair here and there) and comfortable. Water pressure was good in the shower and the provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and lotion were citrus scented which I really loved. Location is great. The hotel is located near a lot of establishments (bars, stores, and a nice park in front) and wineries. Would come back for a day trip or weekend fun in the area!
Location and access
Disappointing breakfast
Excellent location, perfect rooms, kind staff. Everything was exceptional - including the rate. The breakfast was the standard American hotel fare - inedible by European standards (but the Americans have not figured that out yet), but beyond that, this was a real find. Highly recommended.
Breakfast. Individually wrapped bagels and ultra processed foods. This is an area where the American will need to rediscover their power to innovate.
The room was nice, bed was so comfortable and I loved the shower.
The constant loud noises outside. The garbage trucks and large fans in another building. It was all night noise
The facility was clean great staff great ambience
No complaints
The place was clean , the staff was wonderful. I recommend that hotel to everybody..
No complaints
Very quiet. Great location near restaurants and points of interest. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Room was a nice size and well appointed. We loved the historic building. Good breakfast and beautiful lobby.
No fault of the hotel's, but the police were banging on our neighbor's door at 1 am and woke us up. They removed the neighbor, but we didn't find out until the next morning. Parking was only free from 6 pm to 9 am outside in the street.
Dog friendly, comfortable, right-sized rooms in the center of Santa Rosa.
Nothing not to like at Hotel E.
Todo
Nada
Perfect location without standing outdoor access to a park across the street for our pup. Vibrate close by dining options for dinner or early morning espresso. A comfortable room with a great view and all the accoutrements one would expect.
Our room was top notch, except for a shortage of easy access outlets for charging. All as well that only one side of the bed had a nightstand.
Great downtown location
The room was very small - hard to open 2 small suitcases.
Awesome location, friendly staff, historic building, comfy beds
Rooms are a bit small for longer stays
Great hotel! great location!
Location good. Breakfast worthless. Coffee good. Comfort of bed ok.
Breakfast worthless.
Beautiful Room.
Location near to bars with loud music .
Location was great!

Location and staff
The noise outside. Leaf blower at 6am
Really lovely hotel in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
If you stay and they put you in a room very back overlooking the restaurant roof next door, request to move. The industrial fans or something go all night without letting up. Fortunately I was exhausted and fell asleep. But the noise was quite continuous and voluminous. Otherwise loved.

We stayed here for one night and had a good experience. The hotel is quite charming, very clean, safe, and updated. The location is a little less desirable, however, the friendly helpful staff and the hotel vibe overall makes it well worth the stay. Valet parking is easy and reasonable ($25). A simple breakfast is included and you can also get beer or wine right in the lobby.
Fantastic location, very comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Look forward to staying again next time we’re back in the area.
Our room looked into a brick wall but that was totally ok.
My partner and I stayed here for two nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel has a romantic and relaxing vibe that made our couple’s getaway feel special from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and impressively soundproof, which allowed us to fully unwind and enjoy peaceful evenings together. The location is unbeatable right in the centre of town, making it easy to explore everything on foot. During our stay, we were lucky enough to attend a local market fair filled with music, dancing, and delicious food, which added so much charm to our trip. The town itself has an old-world feel while remaining calm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly hospitable and helpful throughout our stay, always greeting us with a smile. We would absolutely stay here again if we get the chance!
Clean, beautiful and historical!
Room was small
Perfect location. Quiet hallways. Amazing beds. Deep bathtub. Small ish room, but well decorated very cozy.
Nada, me gustó todo
Quirky luxury hotel with friendly staff. Very clean!
For the price breakfast could be better. The rooms are super small. It has a lot of quirks but it's still nice.
Location
Even premium room way to small
Great location in a remodeled building. Rims are in the small side but comfortable and nicely adorned.
Close to the city center and nice restaurants
Clean, great Location
The clerk didn’t know about the parking situation in front. That it was free in Sundays.
Loved the cleanliness and location!
