Bfast was very expensive for what it was

Great location and big room & bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice and comfy room. Lovely pool-area and garden. Beautifully situated next to the Lac Lemon with easy access to a beach. Good breakfast.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant. The food was rather tasteless and the service was very slow (although the waiters did their best). No water kettle in the room even though tea bags were provided, just a coffee machine (water from a coffee machine will always taste of coffee).

Excellent rooms and location

Getting your luggage to the room provides a challenge. No elevator from the parking garage and the rooms are in another building with several stairs up and down in between

Gute Lage im Hafen und mit U-Bahn nebenan. Ordentliche Zimmer, wobei in unserem Upgrade für zusätzlich 70 CHF pro Nacht der Seeblick eher mäßig war. In der kostenlosen Minibar gab es zwei Bier, Wasser und zwei Softdrinks. Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant auch ok.

Preis-Leistung für Schweizer Verhältnisse sicherlich ok, für uns nicht passend.

The location, the swimming pool, the room, the staff, the cleanliness, the furniture, the whole environment there

The access to the lobby was difficult when we did not know the right path. Some tables on the outside were not cleaned for multiple days

De kamer was zeer, zeer klein!

Perfect interior design, with beautiful material and colours, not pretentious and so comfortable. The small buildings feel personal and welcoming. The gardens are appeasing - as well as the proximity to the lake.

The cushions are a bit too deep. Not firm enough?

the rooms a clean, comfortable, great. A/C is working super well, which was highly appreciated these last days.

Frankly, I would expect an Ice machine in the buildings. The only ice is in the restaurant, which is not acceptable to me.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Angleterre with my husband, adult daughter and 81 year old mother. We all really liked the hotel. It is steps away from the lake and a nice area with shops and restaurants in Ouchy but feels incredibly quiet - like an oasis in the middle of the city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable; the common areas were lovely; the breakfast was delicious and expansive and the staff very helpful. We all agreed we would stay here again in a heartbeat. I liked the charming small hotel atmosphere and was not at all tempted by the bigger, grander Beau-Rivage next door - although we did enjoy the restaurant there. We also liked having a drink at the Chateau d'Ouchy nearby. The metro was also very close by and the transit card included in the stay.

Die Lage ist top. Alles sehr sauber und neu renoviert. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Simply amazing. The room was large, very well decorated, pristine, and with everything we needed. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool area, and great location in the nicest area of Lausanne.

Only thing would be that the fitness area was tiny, and the spa area was under refurbishing, so we could not use it during our stay.

Très bon emplacement car proche du lac, du musée olympique et surtout du métro ou du bus. Très beaux jardins et agréable piscine. Jolie chambre spacieuse et confortable.

loved the property and pool and our room. Beautiful grounds and beautiful views.

The pool was a bit crowded at times and sometimes no clean towels were provided. Also when we arrived, which was already 4 PM our room wasn’t ready.

Magnifique hôtel, la piscine est très agréable, le personnel aux petits soins. La propreté est impeccable et la literie de qualité. Le mini bar est à disposition. La climatisation est efficace et silencieuse. Le restaurant Acadomia est parfait. L'emplacement est idéal. Le pass gratuit pour les transports en commun très appréciable. Parking possible 30CHF/jour

L'une des chambres est très mansardée y compris la salle de bain avec des velux. Celui de la salle de bain n'a pas de store. Le soleil tape fort (orientée sud). Si on n'y prend garde, on se cogne.

L'hotel est très bien situé et calme. La chambre est spacieuse avec une jolie vue. La proximité du lac est un vrai plus.

The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, just like my own home. It had everything I needed. The location right by the lake was absolutely perfect.

Although I had informed them in advance that I needed an early check-in, when I arrived on the day of my reservation, I was told that it could not be guaranteed and that I would have to wait. They later offered me the first room that became available, but charged me an extra fee for it. Since I needed to get ready quickly for a wedding, I had no choice but to pay it. Overall, I found the total price I paid for just one night quite expensive.

Reception and all staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay here! The hotel was clean and had everything you needed. Location was great and the free transport card provided by the region was ideal with the metro being so close! Swimming in the lake was a highlight and also the relaxing vibes around the pool was lovely :) Would highly recommend this hotel and the area, location was close to everything!

Parking was expensive at 30 CHF per day, we found cheaper parking just down the road for 8 CHF per day! Obviously paying for the car to be close and in a secure underground carpark is ideal but we found the other car park was fine and only a short walk away….

La situation et la déco de la chambre, le personnel de la réception très pro

Bruinant, chambre sous le toit avec peu de lumière alors que nous avions booké une chambre avec vue sur le lac… il fallait monter des escaliers pour voir le lac par des petites fenêtres! Au restaurant, certains serveurs commençaient déjà a souffler et faire du bruit a 22h pour faire partir les clients. Le matin le buffet était un peu mince et l‘omelette était en supplément … vu le prix du petit déjeuner… pas très sérieux! En plus on a attendu 25 minutes avant que quelqu’un prenne la commande … Le bâtiment un peu triste dans les parties communes! Pas très propre quant aux cages d‘escaliers etc… et vieux! Pas très entretenu… il faudrait renover!

Petit déjeuner excellent. Quantité de produits frais. Un délice. Et le restaurant italien, bien qu'un peu cher, vaut vraiment le détour

El hotel es bueno, las habitaciones cómodas, el servicio es muy bueno y el desayuno también lo es. La ubicación cómoda y están muy bien comunicado

Hay algo que debería advertirse, no hay elevadores para clientes y los accesos a los edificios para personas con dificultades de movimiento, aunque sean temporales, son complicados.

Great view, good bed

Nightmare when I got there, I had heavy suitcases and they refused to let me enter through the front door where the restaurant is, insisting I lug the bags up a huge flight of stairs, then squeeze my bags through this tiny turnstile door in reception, nobody offered to help me and I was exhausted. I find out the next day that I could have gone in through the front and there was a lift right there.

Le restaurant est nul. Très chers ( même pour la Suisse) pour une qualité digne d’une cantine scolaire. Nous avons dîner à la brasserie beau rivage le deuxième soir, certes plus chers, mais qualité et quantité sans comparaison. Le restaurant n’est pas du tout eu niveau de l’hôte d’Angleterre, très dommage

Breakfast restaurant could use a facelift and food, while good, was a bit limited for such a nice hotel.

Toplocatie in Lausanne ; betalende, ruime prive-parking; lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt ; ruime kamer ; goed (Italiaans) restaurant bij het hotel (en diverse andere in de buurt); goede bedden; vriendelijk personeel.

Kleine badkamer (toch in onze kamer !) met klein bad. Zwitserse prijzen :-(

Super nice hotel, perfectly located in Lausanne Ouchy on Lake Geneva. Rooms are beautiful and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Booked early and was great value for money given the type of hotel and season

Only downside is that gym is only available in the nearby partner hotel Beaurivage
