Presidential Suite was fantastic and the staff could not have better. From arrival to departure (they actually came to the curbside to wish us well) they could not do enough to please us. Breakfast was fantastic as well.

We had a truly lovely stay at The Oriental Jade Hotel, and it absolutely lived up to its excellent reviews and rating. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, yet tucked away on a surprisingly quiet street. Our room was very comfortable and pleasant, and the breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and quality. What really made our stay special, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, attentive and genuinely eager to help. A special mention to Elena, who always greeted us with the biggest smile, whatever the time of day, and had a wonderful way of making us feel truly welcome and appreciated. And a big thank you to Jonathan, who was always ready to help us with tour bookings, recommendations and anything else we needed. The hotel also very kindly offered us our taxi transfer back to the airport, which was a lovely final touch and perfectly reflected the level of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Excellent location, lovely staff and genuine Vietnamese hospitality. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend The Oriental Jade to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Location perfect in the old quarter, centre of the city close by markets and way to get to the local attractions. Very friendly staff, also looking to advise and support with their local knowledge. Very clean and the rooms had a good balance of modern and traditional feel.

Notre chambre avait une vue imprenable sur la cathédrale de Hanoï. Maïs ce qui est à retenir c'est le professionnalisme et la gentillesse du personnel qui a trouvé réponses à toutes nos attentes, depuis notre demande de chauffeur à l'aéroport, j'jusqu'à notre attente en termes de check out retardé cause avion de retour en fin de soirée. Une très belle expérience au cœur de Hanoï ! De surcroit, la vielle ville et le quartier français peuvent se faire à pied depuis l'hôtel, un sacré confort

Right in the old town close to night markets and the Cathedral, the hotel is very well situated. The area is a buzz of activity. The hotel has a great breakfast and exceptional staff. We also ate there on the evenings msg for convenience and the food and service were top notch. Our room was very well appointed. It was very clean and serviced every day. It was an excellent room for a very keen rate. We can’t praise the staff for their attentiveness and hospitality.

The hotel is in a convenient location where there are lots of food options and walkable within the old quarter of Ha Noi. The room and bathroom are spacious, it has a rooftop bar that offers a great view to Hoan Kiem lake unless it rains (lol) What stood out to a seasoned traveler like me is the superior services by the service staff, very personable and willing to please. One staff who stood out during my stay was Anna (Phương) who was working at the breakfast restaurant, I noticed that she has a very personable attitude toward all the guests during breakfast. I rarely see that kind of services at the luxury hotels that I have stayed at so my hat off to Anna. There’s an area that hotel management needs to focus is to have the maintenance staff trained. There was a water leak above the commode in my bathroom and it wasn’t fixed properly so the leak happened again a couple of days later. I didn’t know that the hotel will arrange a transportation to the airport for you free of charge until my Grab showed up so the hotel reimbursed me for the cost of my Grab ride. Wow, never had that happened at any hotel I have stayed at until now.

Very nice Hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are clean and well appointed but honestly not quite 5 star. However, the service, the breakfast and the location make this defiently a five star experience. The view from the rooftop pool is also amazing. Staff did everything they could to make out stay unforgettable. Would definetly stay again.

The staff and owners of Oriental Jade need to take a “ Bow” for their outstanding level of hospitality… unfortunately so rarely experienced these days. My wife and I ( 65 yr old Aussies) stayed 3 nights in a Diamond Jade room and from the moment we stepped out of our hotel organized airport transfer we were warmly welcomed. After settling in we availed ourselves to the rooftop bar and pool where we met Long. Hospitality obviously runs through his veins and we quickly became very good friends. Breakfast was one of the best we have experienced with a range and quality of choices which would rival many around the world particularly when you consider Oriental Jade is a boutique hotel. Our breakfast experience was certainly enhanced by the friendly and ever efficient Anna and her staff. Unfortunately I don’t have the names of all the wonderful staff but would also like to give a mention to Elena on the front desk. The position of the hotel was perfect for us as well. If I had one minor , in any way negative comment, it would be our personal preference for a softer mattress on the bed though I recognize this is often the case in Asian hotels. Thank you to everyone at the Oriental Jade for making our Hanoi visit so special

Perfect location and an amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though my flight arrived very late, they greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the rooftop has amazing views that really made the stay special. My room was perfect and had everything I needed. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my entire stay, which made a huge difference. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, safe, comfortable, and well-located place to stay. Thank you so much for making my trip even better! 10/10 — I would definitely stay here again!

An amazing hotel ! I travelled with another family, my husband and 2 children - one nearly an adult . We had an adjoining room . The rooms were exceptional ! Both had spacious bathrooms with a walk in shower. Bedrooms were luxurious, with one of the best beds I have slept on. Breakfast, service from entering the hotel to leaving was outstanding. The infinity pool on top of the hotel overlooks the city. Perfect location, perfect hotel . We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and family and will return . The hotel: very nice and comfortable. Location: right in the Old Quarter and just a block from Hoan Kiem Lake. The rooftop bar gives you a great view of the lake and the Old Quarter. Breakfast: there are Vietnamese and Western options with some items being different everyday. Food are tasty. Vietnamese ice coffee is amazing. Staff: professional and nice. They are very attentive. After few breakfasts, they know your preference.

We had a wonderful stay at **The Oriental Jade Hotel**. The location is perfect — right in the city center, just steps from **Hoan Kiem Lake**, the cathedral, charming little coffee shops, and a lovely local atmosphere, while still being surprisingly quiet and away from the noisy streets. The service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure every guest’s needs were taken care of. A fantastic place to stay in Hanoi — highly recommended!

This place is a little gem. The staff cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is extensive - and delicious and the rooftop pool is an added bonus. The gym is decent for a hotel. The rooms are probably more 4 star than 5, but honestly can’t fault the place.

We (a couple with 2 teenagers) stayed in Hanoi for 1 day and half and need a well located hotel to make the most of our short stay. The Oriental Jade was the perfect choice, is in the middle of the Old Quarter with enough shops and cafes to explore, we had a stroll at the Hoan Kiem lake which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We took a taxi ride of 10 minutes (36000 Vietnamese dongs= around £1) to the Vietnamese Literature Museum and although it was so hot it did worth the visit. If you decide to do the train street attraction, that is 10 minute walk from the hotel, we thought it was a must do in the evening. If you are interested in buying some artistic homeware that will fit in your cabin luggagge, there is also a lovely small shop that in my opinion worth a visit, is called Maroon Driftwood is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. About the hotel, we will highly recommend it. It is very clean, well equipped, has a delicious and varied buffet breakfast which was included in our booking, the rooms are well decorated with air con and the beds are so comfortable. All the staff is very helpful, will explain all the facilities and give you as much information as you need to enjoy your stay in Hanoi. On our last day we had to depart in the early afternoon and checked out at midday from the hotel, we wanted to make the best out of the few hours we had left in Hanoi. The hotel kindly held our luggage while we were in an out of the hotel, they even stored in a fridge my medicines and offered a complimentary shower with towels at their gym just before we departed. That shower was such a good idea considering the humid hot weather in Hanoi and the long flight we had ahead to return to UK. To top it up, before leaving they gave us some Vietnamese coffee and a small coffee filter as a gift. Such a nice detail! Thank you to Oriental Jade hotel staff to make our stay so placid, your customer service is outstanding.

There is nothing we did not like. You can find bigger hotels, probably with better facilities in Hanoi but for what the Oriental Jade Hotel has to offer, its price and location the place is a great choice.

Very good this was a wonderful experience very pleasant people

Had a great time staying at the Oriental Jade hotel as part of our honeymoon. My wife and I found the staff to be incredibly accommodating and friendly. They assisted promptly with any query we had. The location of the hotel was also ideal for us, close to plenty of shops and food vendors. Most things we were interested in doing were a quick walk away. We used the rooftop pool each day of our stay as well. If we're able to visit Hanoi again I would first look to book here.

The Oriental Jade Hotel is a very nice place to be. It is in a great location for exploring the best of Hanoi.

Dès notre attivée nous avons été acceuillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse par une équipe exceptionnelle, toujours disponible et véritablement aux petits soins. L'hotel est chaleureux, élégant et cosy. Au coeur du vieux quartier de Hanoi ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable et permis de tout faire quasiment à pieds. Petit déjeuner parfait et trés diversifié : buffet et carte. Piscine au dernier étage avec vue panoramique magnifique.Enfin le rapport qualité prix est plus que excellent, pour notre prochain voyage nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

The rooms were clean, very nice and the service was outstanding! It is within easy walking distance of the old section of Hanoi- shops, restaurants, the cathedral etc, and also easy walk to the lake. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff is very attentive. Highly recommend this if you want to experience old Hanoi!

Best hotel I’ve stayed in Vietnam. Modern, clean, great staff, delicious breakfast, amazing service, precise location, comfortable beds. The views from the pool are great at night.

It’s still overpriced. I don’t appreciate receiving gifts in exchange for good reviews. I was going to give them a high score anyway. It seems to be a common practice in hotels in Hanoi, which is very annoying.

We had a fabulous stay in the Gem suite. The room was fantastic! It was spacious. Bathroom was fully equipped. Wine and fruits on arrival. The hotel is well located. We were able to walk to all the sites. The staff was very friendly and went out of the way to be helpful. Morning breakfast was excellent. There was plenty to choose from and the food was delicious. The passion fruit yogurt was phenomenal.

I know many hotels and restaurants now ASK YOU to give great reviews and, therefore, they (the reviews) less trustworthy, BUT our experience at the Oriental Jade Hotel (3 rooms, 4 nights) was extraordinary, from the kind service to the food, from the location to the massages, if we ever come back to Hanoi (and I hope we will) without any doubt we will arrive to this wonderful, local hotel. Great hotel! Location is ideal, a short walk or drive away from pretty much everything. There’s a rooftop pool with great views of the lake, and the breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. However, the best part with the hotel is the staff who’s very friendly and helpful.

I was looking for a 5-star hotel in a highly walkable area that still offered a safe, clean, and tranquil environment to relax in. The Oriental Jade Hotel checked every box. It is perfectly located in the Old Quarter, surrounded by major tourist attractions and just a few blocks from the lake and cathedral. While friendly service is standard in Vietnam, the hospitality here is on another level. On my first night, I heard some street construction noise. At breakfast the next morning, the manager proactively approached me about the disturbance (which was entirely out of the hotel's control) and upgraded me to a higher-level suite free of charge. It turned on it was quiet after the first night. That kind of guest-first mindset is rare. It’s easy to find a nice hotel in Vietnam, but for truly exceptional, proactive service, The Oriental Jade Hotel is my absolute top choice.

Perfect boutique hotel in the perfect area.

Fantastic location, clean rooms, exceptional staff, smiling faces , outstanding hospitality, if i go back to Hanoi again, we will definitely stay here again. Especially Mr Brian from Guest Relations and Travel Concierge Team made our visit unforgettable. And the staff in Reception, what can i say, they were all unbelievably helpful .

A small boutique hotel conveniently located by the lake near the Old Quarters of Hanoi, the level of service they offer puts many international 5-star hotels to shame. They have taken textbook hospitality to the next level, with great professionalism and attention to detail, mindful of our needs every step of the way. At Check-In, the staff wanted to help us arrange to be on the same floor, and pro-actively looked out for our needs and preferences without us needing to ask. During our stay, the staff were attentive, and at breakfast, they even remembered our preferred drinks. Hot food such as noodle soup were delivered to our tables. A simple question about the water puppet show at the front desk, and they called to reserve tickets for us. What more can you ask for? At Check-Out, the GM Mr. Brian Do greeted us personally to ask for our comments, to which we only had one reply - everything was top notch. We were even presented with a small thoughtful gift. Truly made our stay in Hanoi a pleasant and memorable experience. Kudos to the entire team at The Oriental Jade Hotel!

I don’t think I can say enough good things about this hotel! My husband and I had a short trip to Hanoi in the middle of June and we chose to stay at the Oriental Jade Hotel. And let me say, our entire stay was amazing. Upon arrival, you’re greeted by the nicest staff (we had no issues speaking English) and got to relax in the amazing AC while our room was being prepared. We enjoyed many of the amenities in the hotel like the breakfast buffet, pool, and spa services. The staff, food, room, everything was amazing! Literally my husband and I had no complaints at all. The hotel is also located right in old quarter so you’re walking distance to anything you need during your trip. Not to mention, the day excursions we booked had no problems picking us up directly from the hotel! We look forward to our next trip to Hanoi and will definitely book at the Orential Jade again!

Manager Brian Do was very apologetic due to noise from building next door that had bar noise late at night. Apparently the manager had city fine the owner of the bar. My husband was able to sleep and I never heard it. They gave us a nice going away gift and small compensation for the inconvenience. This was great service ss I just mentioned it in comments at end and were quick to help.

The location was great and the rooms were amazing. It was right in the center of old town so it was easy to get anywhere we wanted. The staff was amazing too and went above and beyond in helping any way they could.

This hotel is amazing! The location is great and the staff exceeded all expectations. The front counter to the cleaning crew to the amazing individuals like Anna in the breakfast area made us feel welcomed. From our 20 year old son to 87 year old dad, we all felt special because of the hotel staff.
