The GM Premium hotel was perfectly positioned, close to everything and walking distance from everywhere we needed to go. The team, including Grace, were very attentive & really took the time to help us from organising activities for us to making recommendations for food & the good coffee places. I'd highly recommend staying here & will definitely look to stay here again when I come back to Hanoi!

The GM Premiun is a wonderful hotel. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices. The location was excellent, walking distance to everything. We had a lovely stay in Hanoi

La chambre est très agréable, literie très confortable et propreté impeccable. Les membres du personnel sont très professionnels et serviables. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux.

Mauvais rapport qualité/ prix Pas du tout à la hauteur d’un 5 étoile. Service pas à la hauteur, chiffon sale oublié dans la chambre, tasse à café non nettoyé d’un jour à l’autre. Beaucoup plus cher que d’autre hôtel. Équivalent à un 4 étoile. Chambre mal isolée, nous entendions tous les bruits de couloir, salle de bain petite.

I wasn't keen that you had to make reservation to have a drink at the bar in the evening. The sun deck is very small. However we did get a sunbed when we required one.

The foyer is beautiful and location very good. Staff very friendly and got served the most delicious tea on arrival. Breakfast was ok but not memorable. The rooftop is lovely but they were playing very loud techno/dance music which seemed unusual at sunset.

Maybe slightly over priced compared to other 5* hotels we stayed in Hanoi. The pool was disappointing. Small which is fine but no where around to relax on a lounger. .

very good location next to the old city. swimming pool at the top floor with a place to rest is incredible. I was also able to work from there. The staff was always nice and ready to help you.

La gentillesse de l’équipe est le point fort de l’hôtel. Toujours là à votre écoute. Son emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la vie de Hanoï du vieux quartier. Tout y est proche.

Il ne faut pas s’attendre à une grande piscine, elle est la par principe. Je regrette que l’on insiste systématiquement pour payer en espèces même s’il est vrai qu’il y a 5% de supplément par CB, mais compte tenu du coût de la vie, ça n’a pas vraiment d’impact sur votre note. Attention également aux chambres vue ville très bruyantes.

Un havre de paix dans cette ville trépidante. La piscine ou le sky bar permettent de se relaxer à tout moment de la journée car l’hôtel est très bien situé pour rayonner. Le petit-déjeuner est très varié et permet de très bien démarrer la journée. Les équipes d’accueil sont formidables et prennent soin de vous en faisant le petit effort supplémentaire pour vous aider. From the very first second until the moment we checked out, we felt incredibly welcome at GM Premium Hotel. We were greeted with refreshing fruit tea and a lovely welcome treat, and Thom Nguyen took the time to explain everything, making us feel at home from the very beginning. The Viet Restaurant is beautiful, with an even more breathtaking view over Hanoi. Breakfast is prepared with so much care and offers a great variety of fresh, high-quality food. The rooftop bar is also the perfect place to enjoy a drink while overlooking the city. I noticed that some reviews mention the rooftop pool being small. While that’s true, it’s completely normal for hotels in the heart of Hanoi. What it may lack in size, it more than makes up for with its stunning view. It was the perfect place to cool down after exploring the city—and every time we went there, we had it entirely to ourselves. The gym was another pleasant surprise. It is fully air-conditioned and well equipped with treadmills, a stepper, dumbbells up to 15 kg, a chest press machine, exercise mats, fresh towels, and drinking water. It was perfect for getting in a quick workout before or after sightseeing. The location couldn’t be better. Right in the heart of the Old Quarter, yet still a peaceful place to relax. Most of Hanoi’s main attractions are within easy walking distance. What truly made this stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional staff—and especially Thom Nguyen. She went far beyond what you would normally expect from a hotel. Through WhatsApp she shared countless personal recommendations, from the best local food to places we absolutely shouldn’t miss. Every day she checked in to make sure everything was perfect and always asked if there was anything she could do for us. At one point I even said to my family, “This must be what it feels like to be rich.” 😄 For a brief moment I honestly wondered if Thom had mistaken me for a celebrity!

We stayed at the GM for five nights. It’s hard to document how good the stay was. The rooms were fantastic, cleaned exceptionally well by the team every day. The location is fantastic. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and the paid dinner were sensational and in the vicinity of five stars. The service by the overall team was excellent and the professionalism offered by the staff, specifically Annie, was well above what we expected for the price we paid. Annie went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and even helped us arrange transfers to different areas. The companies she recommended were also 5 star. I’d recommend the hotel for anybody looking to stay in a great location in Hanoi.

The hotel is amazing. Ty e bed is so comfortable its feels like sleeping on a cloud. The water pressure in the shower is the best. It’s in the center of the center. Amazing staff , always asking if I’m ok. I loved the pool on the 10th floor and the rooftop bar

The fridge didn’t work quite well

Location is central, personnel is very helpful also in organising trips to remote locations, breakfast is ok.

It feels like the hotel is old and needs a refresh. We were told that we were upgraded to a suite however our room was far from being a suite. The swimming pool looked good on pictures but practically was quite poor when seen live.

Staff, location and breakfast are great.

Location is fabulous! We absolutely loved being right in the middle of everything while still having a quiet room at night. I also have to comment on the communication, it was the most efficient of all the hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The staff was incredibly responsive and professional. You can also pay by Revolut, which I wish I’d known from the start, as the initial communication mentioned payment in cash (either Vietnamese dong or US dollars) at check-in. Knowing this beforehand would have saved us the hassle of withdrawing cash at the airport.

The girls in reception asked for any feedback on anything they can improve on - this is not a criticism but rather an observation from someone who has travelled the world and only stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world: I would have loved to have liquid hand soap rather than a bar of soap, as well as some hand lotion in the bathroom. The hand soap in the main lobby restroom smelled wonderful! It would have been lovely to have in the room. Most importantly and from a sustainability perspective, it would also be more efficient, greener and cost effective to have large refillable dispensers for the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner instead of the tiny single-use plastic bottles. They’re also much easier to use. The products, especially the thicker conditioner, take quite a while to get out of the small bottles.

This hotel is ideally located in the old town commercial district.It is competitively priced although the However the service was welcoming efficient and professional I ordered a hotel taxi to and from the airport for peace of mind to avoid any surprises The breakfast was excellent with plenty of different fruits as well as eggs of your choice.

deluxe room was somewhat on the small side by asian standards the test being whether you can open your suitcase on the floor and not the case.The other unusual feature was the washbasin outside the bathroom and again a space issue imposed that. The hotel was a little sombre with much of the decor brown. The roof top bar was quite a confined space and there was no happy hour unlike other establishments and they added taxes as well as service charges which made for an expensive experience. The swimming pool is not as it appears on the internet - it is more a plunge pool and sun loungers most of them are in the shadow and again a very confined space Also the fact that they charged 5% surcharge to use an American Express card is not strategic move if they want returning customers I did not find the evening menu at the hotel all that inviting considering the options available in the area.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings mussten wir bei der Bezahlung mit der Visa-Karte einen Aufschlag von 3 % zahlen, was uns auf unserer bisherigen Rundreise noch in keinem anderen Hotel begegnet ist. Zudem war das Zimmer für zwei große Koffer etwas zu klein. Insgesamt überzeugen jedoch die sehr gute Lage und der freundliche Service.

Die Skybar und der Skypool haben eine tolle Aussicht. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, hilft bei allen Fragen und gibt gute Tips für den Aufenthalt in Hanoi. Die Lage ist sehr gut, wir haben alles zu Fuß gemacht. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe.

Our stay at GM Premium was truly memorable. The location was great. The room was beautiful and spacious. The rooftop bar, pool, and restaurant were all very nice. Special shoutout to the rooftop bar staff and breakfast staff, they were so hospitable and always made sure we were looked after and comfortable. And an extra special shoutout to Annie who looked after us so well and made our stay truly enjoyable. She gave us amazing suggestions for activities and places to eat, ensured we had everything we needed, and was just a genuine pleasure to see when we would come back to the hotel. Booked a twin room and upon checkin we were informed of the junior suite with twin bed, but when taken to the room, it looked like a basic room space wise and it was one king bed, we were tired to change and raise the point especially that we were staying for one night only. The room AC was weird! No matter what we control, it didn’t seem to work and they ended up providing a fan in the room

Our second time in Hanoi 10 years later and after a lengthy search we discovered the GM Premium Hotel. The location is spot on 10 min walk to the Cathedral or the Train Street, beautiful interiors and good size rooms. We chose a balcony room and were given 801 on the 8th floor with great views over Hanoi roof tops. The roof top bar is one of the best in the city and the good size pool is refreshing after a busy sightseeing day. Breakfast is also served on the top floor and has a good selection of European and international cuisine. The hotel organised our airport transfers and we also used their laundry service which was impeccable. Ani at the hotel reception has been very helpful as well as everyone else. The staff is very friendly and professional. We highly recommend this hotel and would be pleased to return given the chance.

GM Premium ticks all the boxes - location, comfort, and excellent service. We were in Hanoi during a heatwave and loved the air conditioning and the pool. The restaurant upstairs is also excellent. This was probably one of the best buffet breakfasts we’ve experienced and we have traveled quite a bit around south east Asia. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my second stay in this hotel. I just love it! The staff are so warm and welcoming. Special mention to 'amazing Grace' who went above and beyond. Service and cleanliness is faultless. Will most definitely be back when next in Hanoi. And will hopefully bring friends.
