Residence Inn by Marriott Montréal Downtown

Excellent large studio apartment with a kitchen area and great bathroom. The staff were outstanding and so friendly. Laundry was an excellent facility.

The breakfast was ok, but the room was over crowded at 8.30ish each day

Excellent location good breakfast close to everything

Room was decent, clean. Kitchenet was provided with enough utensils and appliances. Location downtown was along Rue Peel near Blvd. De Maisonneuve Quest with several eatery options.

Not all elevators functioning, specially a peak breakfast times, thereby causing long waiting times Very Limited options for Vegetarians at Breakfast Toaster and Coffee maker were not operational at the electric socket provided in kitchen.

I requested an accessible room with a walking shower and this , when we arrive, was not available

Fairly close to the venue we were visiting.

No onsite parking

First of all my score reflects the score for a 4 star hotel based on a wide variety of 4 star hotels across the world I travelled to, so I’m well versed and no reply or argument can change it. not sure why booking lists this as a 4 star hotel, it should be a 3 star hotel by European standards. The price however is for a 5 star hotel. I wish Canadian hotel owners would go to third world countries in Eastern Europe and Asia to see the level of quality of 4 star hotels and services. It’s another level. Yet here like typical American standards everything is done cheaply with high profits in mind. The breakfast- I don’t want to say it’s a joke because you leave there feeling full but the quality of food is all shit. It screams cheap cheap cheap, the first day we even had plastic plates and forks lol. The variety is poor, juices amade of chemicals and sugar, there is no cheese besides Philadelphia, no fruit besides apples bananas and oranges. Food you get some scrambled eggs and some sort of burger meats which don’t taste good. One day we had some quiches which were nice. No yoghurts, no cakes, no variety in short! If it’s cheap like porridge, it’s there, as soon as it goes above a certain price threshold, forget it. Now to the room: we had a 3 adult room and the third adult would sleep on a sofa bed which is expected but the mattress of that was a big joke. Bathroom ok. Kitchen is nice and well equipped, location is really good. Overall will not return: au revoir and please expect people have other standards for 4 star these days. Good bye

Great service. The staff was excellent. Great location. Great room.

Rien

La habitación cómoda y limpia. La ubicación. La atención del personal

Nada en especial

Excellent hotel and service

Bien situé, équipements corrects

Peu de place pour les valises

Staff went the extra mile to help us with our unusual requests.

Location

The sofa bed need replacement :) Breakfast menu could have more variations

Les ascenseurs, un peu long à attendre

La chambre est spacieuse

Le petit déjeuner est médiocre

Clean rooms, great complimentary breakfast, location.

Noise - rooms are not very soundproof and noise disturbed my sleep the whole stay, even room doors let in a lot of light and sound. Cost very high, and $4 each for the washer and dryer per load unreasonable.

Location. Confy bed. Nice staff!

Breakfast! Avoid breakfast and go elsewhere. You'll thank me later.

The entire space is clean. The staff is friendly and polite.

The "The elevator is fairly small

Friendly staff Clean rooms Great location

Cost of stay - I understand the first weekend in August is busy but it is so expensive.

The breakfast was good and the location was excellent

The elevators feel too few for the number of guests which meant having to wait a long time for them

Appreciate the location, friendly and helpful staff, and accomodations

The location, the cleanliness, the breakfast, and the staff.

The constant humming of air vents and a weird banging sound of the pipes when the toilet filled up.

The Location and the Kindness of the Staff

Terrible Breakfast Room, to N Natron, crowdrd, to noisy and no Various offer of breakfast goodS Backroom

Location is good

Eminitis. Robe , slippers , breakfast below my expectations

Schönes Zimmer, sehr gut in Downtown gelegen, nahe Kunstmuseum und Mont Royal. Sehr freundliches Personal!

Die Klimaanlage war nachts sehr laut.

Almost everything

Aircon control and breakfast options and quality of food were poor, almost no option for people with specific dietary needs.

The hotel was clean , lovely and close to everything. The staff were exceptionally helpful and nice.

The multilingual staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Loved the view from the large 24th floor windows. This downtown hotel is close to many attractions and just a short walk to Mount Royal.

The three elevators weren't always operating (one or two were being repaired). So, there were often lines forming in front of them and the elevators were very slow and hot.

Room, staff and location

Facilities outside room look outgraded. Breakfast too americanized

La comodidad

Location was amazing!

Not much

The staff were so helpful. We were there for a mini family reunion. With grandchildren, we had a very large range of likes and dislikes. Everyone was happy with the facilities, the recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Thank you!!! BTW, we loved the spaciousness of our standard room. Even with children and parents visiting, we didn't feel cramped. So glad we picked your hotel!

Personale molto gentile

tout

le petit dejeuner

Good size room, clean.

Elevators a little slow.

The room is very big with also a kitchen furniture. The breakfast is very good and complete. The position is great: 10 minutes from the train station and 1 minute by walk from a metro station, also located in the downtown

The pillows and the bed are too soft and quite uncomfortable

Friendly clean comfortable

Garage didn’t fit cars

Location, room and staff were excellent. We had made a mistake with the booking for the first night but the receptionist found a wonderful solution in his full hotel at 2am when we arrived after a long flight.

Nothing to write

More hooks on the bathroom walls for clothes etc. Also the bathroom shelves could be dusted a bit more. Otherwise the room was great!

Good location, breakfast included plus value 😀

Very comfortable bed and clean

N/A

best residence hotel, best location.

Excellent location, the gym and breakfast were great! Nice staff.

Everything

Excellent location and clean facilities. I’d stay here again for sure.

They’re a bit slow on returning my deposit

Desayuno poco variado.

The hotel is centrally located in the downtown Montreal area. It is across the street from the Metro making access to other areas very convenient.

There is construction going on across the street. It was noisy early in the morning but we planned to be out most of the day.

The property is in the perfect location in downtown Montreal with all the sights and sounds on your doorstep or a short metro ride away. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and able to store luggage

Nothing - a first class hotel

The room was roomy. The hotel is located in downtown Montreal making getting around very easy. The daily breakfast was amazing. The waffles are so delicious!

Nothing

Excellent breakfast

Parking for Ford Bronco

Location of the hotel was really good.

I booked for single room but they gave me double bed. I asked em about it but they said they didnt have the availability. It was strange that i pre- booked my hotel for it and didnt got what i paid for. If they would told me before may be i go to some other hotel but they told me on my arrival. So i didnt have no choice do to nothing.

Close to everything. Hotel was clean and safe. Rooms were big and bed was comfortable

Small lift

Chambre appartement

We could do early check in without paying for it. Close to the metro.

Nothing

Clean, nice staffs

Delayed cleaning - we were asked in the morning ~10 am. We were about to leave so she said she would be back to clean. When we're back at around 4:30 pm ... the room hasn't been cleaned, I think she came 15 min after - but too late we're about to stay in the room for the night.

Great location, easy to get to from airport, very close to bell centre also

Friendly and helpful front desk ( especially Aymane !) and dining room staff, rooms were clean, location is great. I appreciated the nice touch of sending me birthday tokens. Sufficient supply of breakfast items.

The quality of some of the breakfast items could be better - eg runny eggs and dry patties
