We were surprised by sky light windows which couldn't be blinded and woke us up very early. We weren't notified about it. The room wasn't cleaned each time. The stairs were unpleasant. Breakfast croissants were not fresh. Shower water pressure was low and it was uncomfortable to shower. No shower cap in the bathroom

The king suite has a very large skylight but there is no way of blocking light so we had light at 5:30am. It was really uncomfortable and the room should be at a large discount given this inconvenience.

Terrible service and extremely disappointing experience. The staff were rude and unprofessional. The room did not include basic amenities such as a toothbrush or toothpaste, and there were not enough towels provided. The hotel reservation staff were impolite and unresponsive to customer requests. The breakfast was also very poor, offering little more than a few croissants and some low-quality items. Overall, considering the amount of money charged for the stay, I was very dissatisfied with both the quality of the accommodation and the level of service provided.

It smelt nice the moment you walk in the doors and the rooms were stylish and clean.

The internet was down the first day upon check in. The steps in the room are too close to the entrance and not marked with bright colour to prevent fall.

Le 1er jour chambre non faite à part le lit et le drap avait un trou ! De la poussière et des cheveux partout , le 2ieme jour plus de tapis de bain , poubelles non vidées et lit non fait ! Dans la salle de bain lavabo qui coule mal j'ai demandé à déboucher mais rien n'été fait. Plus grave la sortie de secours ne s'ouvre pas , je l'ai signalé , rien de fait non plus car j'ai vérifié le jour suivant !

The hotel’s location was excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. The staff was professional and welcoming, and the room was clean and well maintained. Overall, the property offers great access to local attractions and dining options.

I am very sensitive to noise, and sound insulation was a challenge during my stay. The wooden flooring made it easy to hear footsteps from the room above and neighboring rooms. My room also had a connecting door to the next room, which allowed conversations and other noise to be heard almost as if the guests were inside my room. Additionally, there was a bar or café below my window, and staff periodically disposed of empty beer bottles into a dumpster, creating loud glass-breaking and dumping noises that were noticeable from the room, especially during quieter hours. Overall, the noise levels made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the stay.

Excellent location, big room.

Check in est a 3pm mais notre chambre n’était pas prête avant 17:30. Aucune compensation offerte sauf un late check out complètement inutile dans notre cas. Le déjeuner consiste de petits croissants, toasts et café. Ce n’est absolument pas un petit déjeuner continental ou pâtisseries parisiennes. Malgré le fait que notre chambre venait d’être nettoyée, la toilette était sale et pleine d’urine. Je trouve que le prix ne valait absolument pas la dépense pour cet hôtel.

Location was great! Rooms were clean and comfortable - very boutique-y. Some awkwardness in the room designs (lights, plugs). Great use of of wood! I am a fan. Continental breakfast was unimaginative; there is a juice bar (separate establishment) right in front but the oj was not fresh and the yogurts were all high sugar. Croissants were passable.

I travel and book through Booking.com quite frequently, but I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review until now. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Everyone was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. A special thank you to the gentleman who was always impeccably dressed and carried himself with such professionalism, as well as the wonderful blonde lady who seemed to be there around the clock making sure everything ran perfectly. Both of them made us feel truly valued and special throughout our stay. Considering this was one of the busiest weekends in Montreal, I was amazed by how calm, attentive, and accommodating the entire team remained. Their positive attitude and outstanding service made this trip unforgettable. Thank you for making our Montreal visit so memorable. We will absolutely be back. I forgot to mention that the bathroom in this hotel is simply amazing and I will forever compare every other hotel to this one. The shower is the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life and the double sinks was a huge bonus.

Very poor ambiance. The room had some broken light fixtures. The functional ones barely produced any light. The room had a skylight, but the curtain on the skylight was stained because of the leaking water sprinkler. The two showers (yup, two of 'em) in the bathroom looked fancy, but not very efficient. The toilet had stains. One of the towels was torn. Overall, not the standard for the price.

Location is perfect, part of downtown Montreal, and close to Metro And easy to walk to main attractions.

Bring your own hand soap, bathroom sink. There are liquid shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the shower but no bar soap at bathroom sink.

I sent this letter to Johnny, the owner and received no answer. That speaks for itself. I got your name from the person at reception when we left. We arrived 02.05.26; we left 06.05.26. As the owner, you should be aware of the following safety concerns. 1. The elevator was pitch black for the duration of our stay. This is serious. It was brought to the attention of the front desk from the first day and nothing was done to fix it. 2. We were given room 212 on arrival. There are three [3] steps immediately inside the door, painted black and without safety caution strips. I fell down the stairs. We immediately asked for a different room and the next day we were moved to 312. This needs to be fixed. 3. The thermostat did not work in room 312. The temperature was set for 65; the temperature in the room was 76. There were no instructions to adjust the AC. The front desk person gave us a fan to circulate the air. 4. There was never any soap in the dispenser in room 312. I am asking for a refund for one [1] night, as compensation for the above issues. I have reported the safety issues to the Regie du batiment du Quebec and advised the mayor’s office of the detrimental effect of substandard accommodation on tourism. Il manquait des rouleaux de papier de toilette, j’ai averti la réception qui a dit qu’il allait envoyer quelqu’un, qui n’est jamais venu. Je suis retourné à la réception et cette personne est venue avec moi à notre étage. Le téléphone pour la réception ne fonctionnait pas. Il n’y avait pas de gel douche dans le distributeur.

La chasse d eau cassé, la télécommande de la clim qui ne fonctionne pas. Un discothèque a proximité qui fait du bruit jusqu a 3h du matin. L impression de dormir dans un hôtel de passe...

Good location near supermerkats and commercial area. Easy to get from Gare Centrale. Kind stuff. Spacious room. Coffee machine and tea bags in the room. The hairdryer was very good. Shampoo and gel shower available,as well as soap for the hands.

Breakfast was simple and had few options. Just a few tangerines and apples. Sliced ​​bread, croissants, and cakes. Butter and jam. Yogurt. There was no bottled water available. There was one day when my room wasn't cleaned. Common areas weren´t very clean. Shower wasn´t very powerful and took a while to water warm up.

Proximity to the downtown core

The room isn’t all that comfortable. Wooden floors, a lack of a comfortable club chair to relax in, the washroom was dated and there were items in disrepair such as a leaky shower assembly, broken water knob, sink Darin that was clogged, electronic door lock that was very difficult to operate (should be replaced)

I loved how clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Loved proximity to Bell Centre and Bar George. I prefer boutique hotels, NYC style...this delivered. Thk uuu.

The air freshener was a bit intense and maybe a gentler method, like essential oil diffuser, or fresh flowers would be great. But it is nice to have a lovely scent when you walk in.

There was an open sunlight pit in the room so the room is lit as the sur is. Some stains on the bed's cover. One of the two shower heads only has cold water and the other didn't have a lot of pression. The sink was leaking at our feet. It was announced that the parking lot was 30$ per 24h but it was 60$ per days. Big lack of cleanness.

I loved this hotel. The decoration is eclectic, tasteful and fun. The room was big, big bathroom and shower. It was quiet and perfectly located for downtown Montreal activities, walking distance to Art Gallery and St Catherines Street shopping, good restaurants and the Metro.

Le personnel était courtois.

Premièrement les planchers étaient très bruyants et nous nous sommes fait réveiller par la chambre au-dessus de nous au milieu de la nuit. L'aspect le plus négatif de notre séjour a été la douche. Celle-ci accueillait deux personnes donc deux robinetteries une d'entre elles était 100% désuet et l'autre fonctionnait à 20 %. Lorsque nous louons une chambre d'hôtel deux items sont extrêmement importants bien dormi et se laver. La douche était à un point désuet que nous pouvions à peine régler la température de l'eau. Pour cette raison lors de notre prochaine visite à Montréal cet emplacement ne fera pas partie de notre liste.

Loved the bathroom and shower with the glass between the double shower and bed space ... which can be very fun for a romantic escape. But also provides a lovely red velvet curtain for privacy.

The couch was stained, and the room was hard to heat up, we both felt kinda cold all the time, even though we had no window to the outside. I would recommend slippers or flip flops as there are no carpets, just painted wood slats and cold tiles.
