The picture at the time were a bit deceaving.

Bed qas noisy and the breakfast was not a breakfast. But the staff was great.

The properly was very well equipped, clean, comfortable and very conveniently located

Lovely Miriam checked me in and showed me around. The room was very nice with a minifridge full of breakfast stuff. Good location to catch a cruise. Short walk to waterfront, pizza, souvenir shop across road sold hats and sunblock. Bathroom clean with nice waterfall shower.Bed comfy. Thank you!

I wish i could have checked out an hour later. Other than that, it was perfect.

Francesco and his team always make my stay fabulous. Yes, the room has everything I need, is absolutely spotless, and is in a perfect location—a short walk from the train terminal and port shuttle pickup, and lots of nearby choices for dinner. But, it’s the personal touches that make Museum Guest House special—a fridge with water, sodas, milk, yogurt plus a basket absolutely full of breakfast choices and a kettle with tea and coffee choices. The table is even set for you. Add in a comfy bed and wonderful shower and you’re set for a comfortable stay. Thanks for another great stay, Francesco! I shall return and highly recommend your hotel and your wonderful team.

Close to the city and restaurants. Lively rooms and the staff were wonderful. They organised our shuttle to the cruise ship which was fantastic.

The property is in a perfect location for everything, especially cruises. Francesco was brilliant. He was so helpful with everything. He even went out of his way to get a taxi for us, he went above and beyond. We will definitely be staying there again.

Our travel agent booked the room & it was not exactly what we were use to. She should have booked a higher end property. The room was VERY small, but the owner was wonderful.

You could feel some springs in bed and pillow too thick for my sleeping comfort. But not enough to ruin the sleep. I would recommend. As everyone has different pillow preferences.

Unique property perfectly located for those going on a cruise ship. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They lined up transportation to the port at ten Euros a person. Nice breakfast of pastries, coffee, and tea and a well Stocked refrigerator all included in the price. This is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and comfortable and perfect for our situation.

Property is located close to shops, port and lots of restaurants. We gladly stay there. Francesco is a great communicator.

Mariam was very welcoming! She even gave us an italy magnet to show her appreciation for us staying there An abundance of snacks and “breakfast” items were left in the room along with beverages, all for us to enjoy. The room was comfy and very clean. Highly recommend!!!

The property was exceptionally clean, the lovely lady who checked us in was so helpful and Francesco, the owner, accommodated our early arrival on the train with no issues at all. There were items in the minibar for us, a welcome gift, and an Italian breakfast basket. There is also a lift in the building for luggage.

I can’t think of anything negative! Location, cleanliness and service were all excellent!

Doskonałe miejsce dla tych, którzy wybierają się na rejs statkiem z portu Civitavechia. Do przystanku skąd odjeżdżają autobusy na statek zaledwie kilkaset metrów. Obiekt zlokalizowany w samym centrum, a jednak w pokojach cichutko. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, komfortowe łazienki, czysto. Właściciele bardzo życzliwi i pomocni. Polecam!

The property was absolutely spotless. And the staff were so lovely and the little extra touch’s they provide are so nice. I would most definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Very handy if you are taking a cruise

Not really a big deal but the lift was tiny so had to do a few trips but definitely worth it for such a clean place to stay

Hotel é muito bem localizado, perto da estação e perto do porto. A recepção foi maravilhosa e muito atenciosa, nos ajudou muito para pegar o navio. O quarto era aconchegante, limpo, organizado e tinha mimos para tomarmos café. Amamos nossa estadia no hotel e recomendamos!

Very clean room, plenty of drinks supplied free in the fridge. Good shower, plenty of towels. Francesco, the host, was excellent, and very helpful. He also gave lots of information about Civitaveccia.

Excellent place to stay in Citiavecchia. Francesco was a wonderful host, and so accommodating when we were unexpectedly very early! Rooms are clean and comfortable, and hospitality was unmatched. Perfect for our stay before embarking on a cruise.

Location was perfect…very walkable city and super close to train station. Rented a car in Milan and returned it in CVC. Very easy drop off! Traveled 2 days into Rome to visit Vatican City, St Peter Basilica and Colosseum. Amazing food and wine in the port.

We did our own pre trip for a Viking Ocean Cruise and wanted to find a place close to the dock where we board. The Museum House was right around the corner and a simple 5 min walk to where we caught the shuttle. Perfect location with plenty of restaurant choices. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us.

great location, friendly staff. This is a small guest house with minimal common areas. Staff are super friendly and have a shuttle available to the cruise port which is supper convenient. Great choice if there to catch a cruise.

la colazione con prodotti industriali non la apprezzo proprio e mi fa male. consiglio all'ottimo proprietario e gestore di fornire lo spazio comune di una macchinetta del caffè ( il Nescafe non è concepibile), e se non gli è possibile fornire del semplice pane con burro e marmellata, fare piuttosto una convenzione con uno dei caffè vicini.. Il resto, tutto è OTTIMO e accurato

location was about 1 mile from the cruise terminal, but close to several cafes and eateries. not touristry at all, nobody hawking goods or begging for customers. very friendly staff but didn't speak english, but thanks to google language we were able to communicate.

the ads we saw mentioned and had pictures of a rooftop balcony, in reality it is there but not accessible.

Location was great, close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of pastries, juice and coffee. Small refrigerator had water, sodas and beer, which were included.

Guest House was a little hard to find. Then we noticed a sign in front of the building. There were several steps to get to the small elevator. We had to make two trips to get both us and our luggage. Unit was a little small. TV had no English channels.

My stay at the Museum Guest House in Civitavecchia was a wonderful surprise. From the booking until check-out, we were exceptionally well attended to by Francesco, the owner, and Thomas, his staff. The room is very comfortable, clean, and quite new. And the breakfast, served in the room, is quite varied. Francesco and Thomas welcomed us wonderfully, clearly guiding us on everything from how to get to Civitavecchia coming from Rome's international airport to how to get to the cruise area in the port. In other words, I strongly recommend the Museum Guest House to everyone."

The building was very dirty and drab. When you enter the building it looks dirty and unkept. The room was ok and I mean 'just' ok.

I'm not too sure where to begin! Do I start with the fact that Francesco is an absolute gentleman? Do I start with the fact that Museum Guest House has an excellent location and so spotless? Do I start with the fact that the service my wife and I received was second to none? Ladies and gentlemen do not look anywhere else for accommodation for pre cruise or a holiday this IS the place to stay in Civitavecchia, trust me! Our train from Reggio Calabria was delayed, we arrived later ,much later than we had expected to. Francesco contacted us and requested that we call him when our train arrived into Civitavecchia. Francesco then gave us directions as to where the accommodation was located. Well guess what? Francesco along with one of his staff totally suprised us. He had walked from the accommodation and met us whilst we were on our way to the accommodation. They then carried our luggage all the way to the accommodation. This was around 9:30 at night! This gentleman went over and above. We have not received such EXCELLENT service in 6 weeks of travelling around Europe. One other thing for what it is worth ... Francesco was the ONLY person out of all the places we stayed that gave us a receipt for the tourist tax! THANK YOU Francesco! 10 out of 10!

We loved the Museum Guest House. It was in a great location. There was alot to do around the area and alot of great places to eat. Thomas was wonderful and they were very attentive and kind. The room was very clean and the refrigerator was stocked with water, soda and juices. We also had assorted pastries along with other things to eat for breakfast. We definitely recommend staying here.

Francesco is just so obliging and helpful. The property has a lift (big plus with luggage) and is beautifully restored with attention paid to sound insulation. So even though you're right in the action, you get a restful sleep. Great cafe right next door for breakfast too.

The odor from the cleaning materials was so strong that it was difficult to breathe. Fortunately, we could open the window to bring in fresh air.

Francesco was so very kind and informative of all that was in the area.

Francesco is solid gold. He waited for us even though we were past the normal check-in time The apartment itself is served by a lift and the room itself has been professionally soundproofed. So even though you're right in the action, there's no outside noise to disturb you. The bathroom is generously proportioned and particularly the shower is large by Italian standards.
