The staff at this hotel are truly welcoming and go beyond to make sure you’re comfortable at every step. The quality of the food was great overall and the interaction I had with a bar team member and pool were member were excellent and made me want to write this review. I didn’t get their names but would like to acknowledge them anyway.

Amazing stay at the Oberoi. Word class service from staff, especialy front desk headed by Ms. Sanchari who provided exceptional personal service and attended to all requests with a smile, good will, and profesionalism. Had the best breakfast ever, enjoyed the delightful spa and hotel facilites. To conclude, had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the hotel.

This was by far my favourite hotel on our trip to India. The location is lovely. The hotel and facilities were beyond excellent. The staff were possibly the best I have ever experienced. Mughal and Razek by the pool went above and beyond for us. Swaraj our driver was very impressive in how well he looked after us. Very thoughtful and kind. As was every member of staff we encountered. We desperately wanted to stay longer!

Absolutely exceptional stay at The Oberoi Mumbai. The room was amazing, and the staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and spot-on with every request. A truly seamless experience from start to finish!

While the room was beautiful and the service was excellent, I felt the housekeeping could have been more thorough. There was noticeable dust on the telephone cord and windowsill, which took away slightly from an otherwise exceptional stay.

Après une arrivée au petit matin suite à un vol ils nous ont donné une chambre pour que nous nous reposions dès notre arrivée 6h puis nous devions changer de chambre mais fini pour ne pas déranger les enfants ils nous ont surclassé dans une baby suite à cité de la première chambre …. Sans en faire trop par pure gentillesse … j’ai rarement vu un personnel aussi attentionné aimable souriant et un tel niveau de service. Je ne connaissais pas lnoberoi qui m avait été conseillé et Booking avait une offre interessante je pense que c’est l’hôtel de luxe avec le meilleure service jamais fait ! L’endroit est élégant les restaurants aussi … nous sommes allés au Taj Mahal Hitelnpojr un thé c était froid le personnel pas sympa un accueil décevant …. L Oberoi est juste parfait

The service was absolutely top rated from checkin to checkout. We had a fantastic suite and the service to the room, the small gifts and amenities are amazing. Loved the fresh flowers, cushion options, the bedding and the excellent turndown service. We loved our stay and will certainly come back!

The location is excellent and very close to the Colaba area. The hotel is extremely quiet with no noise compared to other famous hotels nearby, and the staff are extremely professional.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. The hotel is extremely clean and the breakfast spread offers a great variety. The only small observation is that service at breakfast can be a bit slow, probably because it gets quite busy. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

I am a regular guest at the hotel. This year, for a change I thought of staying at another hotel which I did for 1 night but decided to come back to Oberoi! Always feels like home. Excellent location, very calm and relaxing, comfortable rooms, great food and above all excellent customer service.

Truly, a unique paradise of silence, neatness and impeccable service in the middle of Mumbai's hectic life rhythm, in line with Baudelaire's famous: "Là, tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté, Luxe, calme et volupté"

Our room overlooked the Arabian Sea, and the sunset views alone were worth the stay. But what truly stood out was the attentiveness of the team. When we mentioned it was our anniversary in passing, we returned to our room that evening to find a thoughtful surprise waiting, no fanfare, just quiet, gracious care. Dining was exceptional across the board. Breakfast at Threesixty° was fresh and beautifully presented, and the staff remembered our preferences by the second morning. The spa was a serene escape, and the fitness facilities were immaculate. What sets The Oberoi apart isn’t just the luxury, it’s the sincerity behind the service. Every request was met with genuine warmth and efficiency, never a hint of inconvenience. This is hospitality at its finest, elegant, intuitive, and deeply personal. Just fantastic. great service. great views. exceptional food and beverage offerings. old and new rooms - both are fantastic. housekeeping is super strong. highly recommended and by far the best city hotel in India. it has no competition in mumbai - these closest competitor would perhaps be peninsula hong kong or Mandarin oriental bangkok.

A heartfelt thank you to Loveneesh at the front desk, who welcomed us warmly and surprised us with a room upgrade that made our celebration even more memorable. It was a thoughtful gesture that truly reflected The Oberoi's legendary hospitality. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and it was evident that it was crafted with immense passion and precision under the guidance of Chef Kayzad Sadri. The meal was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our stay. What made this visit even more meaningful was the nostalgia. I was once a chef with The Oberoi, and returning years later as a guest gave me the opportunity to experience the legendary Oberoi service from the other side. It reminded me why this brand is regarded as one of the finest in hospitality. The warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care shown by every team member made us feel truly valued. Thank you to everyone at The Oberoi, Mumbai, for making our anniversary so special. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning again.

Great hotel, nice view, loved the internal infrastructure, very welcoming staff.

I booked a room with two single beds over 1 month before my stay and did not get it, which caused some problems.

My son and I recently stayed at The Oberoi Mumbai for a dad-son trip, and the team managed to turn an already highly anticipated vacation into a true core memory for both of us. We couldn't have asked for a better location to anchor our time in the city. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff was palpable. Every single team member we encountered welcomed us with a genuine smile, creating an environment where the exceptional luxury felt incredibly personal and inviting. The logistics of our stay were handled flawlessly—the team seamlessly honored our pre-arrival requests for a quieter room on a higher floor, provided a wonderful upgrade, and accommodated a late checkout so our last day was stress-free. While the rooms do show their age a little bit, in a way, it actually adds to the beautiful nostalgia of the hotel and its iconic location. Plus, the in-room amenities by Forest Essentials were excellent and a really nice touch. The dining was another major highlight. The breakfasts at Ziya were absolutely delicious. A special shout-out to Sanket, who went out of his way to ensure our strict vegetarian and egg-free preferences were accommodated perfectly every morning. Huge shout outs to Sanchari and Akshay, who were exceptionally attentive on the floor and ensured we were taken care of at every turn. The fitness and spa room were under renovation during our stay, but we ended up using the Trident fitness center which was well equipped. If you are looking for a hotel that pairs a fantastic location with staff who genuinely care about your experience, I cannot recommend The Oberoi highly enough. We look forward to returning!

Our stay at The Oberoi, Mumbai was excellent from start to finish. The service throughout the hotel was exceptionally attentive, and we felt completely at home from the very first moment thanks to the many thoughtful gestures from Mary and the housekeeping team. A special thank you also goes to the concierge, Nabeel, and the entire team for perfectly organizing all of our trips with the hotel car. Additionally, the food at the Fenix restaurant was always excellent. The hospitality here is genuinely warm and welcoming, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai.

It is very little : The taste of lattes or cappuccino needs improvement Provide Arabic bread and more Arabic food options especially in the breakfast Since there are too many Arabic residence in your hotel, especially GCC people, it would be nice to provide Arabic coffee and dates as a hospitality in the lobby and rooms, as well as provide Arabic language on the signs instructions and directions.

Everything was just perfect. The stay was. Food was excellent. Spending time to watch Golden Hour was a serene feeling. Would surely be visiting soon and stay for a day extra just to enjoy the property.

The Oberoi Mumbai has got the best view among all the hotels in the town it’s one of the luxury hotel where the destination is as memorable as the stay. This was our 4th visit in past six months we stayed in the Premier Ocean View Suite and the Premier Suite with Queen’s Necklace View, and both offered spectacular panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the iconic Queen’s Necklace. From bedroom it’s spectacular view of Arabian Sea & star grazing sky very serene calm and peaceful. Cleanliness of the hotel is next level from lift doors & its nobs being cleaned and sanitized frequently. Among all the five star hotels in mumbai Oberoi has got best location. Butler service of Taj palace Hotels & Oberoi’s are all together some different ball game. The openness in and around the hotel is refreshing, and its Marine Drive location is perfect for morning or evening walks—truly a jogger’s paradise. The minimalist décor is elegant and timeless, while the suites are spacious, comfortable, and filled with natural light. NCPA is next door Taj Mahal Palace Hotel is 10min Both the cricket stadiums Brabourne & Wankhede are walk a way distance. It’s European cuisine Restaurant Vetro is under renovation that’s low point. Ziya Restaurant for its Michelin star level food & service is recommended for Luxury Fine Dining. Fenix all day dining is ok but in room dining better then that. What truly elevates the experience is the impeccable service combined with the hotel’s relaxed, peaceful ambience, it creates the perfect escape from the city’s pace. A timeless luxury hotel with breathtaking views, outstanding hospitality, and one of the finest locations in Mumbai. Highly recommended.
