Hampton Inn Burlington - Colchester

Very pleasant and helpful staff! I have dietary needs that the food service manager met for breakfast! I am gluten-free and dairy-free. She had Schar products readily available. The room was immaculate, comfortable, quiet. Lots of free parking and guest laundry available. Location convenient to the airport, shopping mall and downtown Burlington.

I didn't have any major concerns or issues. This is a relatively new hotel with excellent maintenance of the building and grounds.

Location worked for us.

Housekeeping staff was largely absent. Beds made one time in 5 day stay. Blankets complicated so if it is to be a do-it-yourself operation, simpler bedding is needed. Breakfast ok, desk staff agreeable while unable to resolve problems. Guests often usurped disabled access parking spots while not showing they were entitled to them.

We had made our online about 5 hours before we arrived. We were told there was as no reservation for us so I showed your staff our confirmation number, still there was no record and were told it was a glitch between the online system, which by the way was Hampton Inn’s and the front desk. No rooms were available. We left very upset. We got a room at the Residence Inn, it was fifty dollars more. We booked the Hampton Inn for its low price and value we always felt we had with your chain. We were told by your staff they couldn’t make up the difference of the extra cost. It was late and we were very disappointed.

Night check-in man - Greg? with ponytail - was excellent; breakfast woman is wonderful and could use some help; chamber maid was super friendly; bed comfy; bathroom clean; quiet; good location

too much processed food at breakfast; waffle batter only offered flavored; yogurt didn't have a plain, no sugar; I didn't see peanut butter; One lovely woman worker had more to do than could be accomplished by one person. You need two people and maybe another helper to keep things full and areas clean; waffles are a nice but the mess around the area (caused by users) was off-putting.

Need more handicapped spaces definitely. Husband in a wheelchair. Wierd thing, toilet paper roll not long enough for holder, kept falling out. Annoying. Fell in rubbish barrel once

Quiet, comfortable, friendly

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable. Nothing fancy but just enough. For what we paid, it was great! I would stay again for the same price.

The facility should keep an eye out on the pool area. No towels refilled by late afternoon, even though the pool is open until 10pm. Water all around the floor. No one bothered to wipe the floors dry. Easy to slip and fall on the tiles. Extremely hot and stuffy in pool area. Some air conditioning would have been ideal since it's indoors.

5 Stars all the way. Moraima was so amazing, very personal and friendly. Hilton should be proud to have such an amazing staff member to great their guests. Rooms are clean, and everything works. Even the hair dryers.

Old food still in room fridge when we arrived. Toilet had quite obviously not been cleaned. A/C blew (like a wind tunnel) high volume frigid air only - directly onto sleeping guests via a large (unclean) vent. It was either murderously hot or ice cold in that room - there was no in between.

We stayed in room 210 and found it mediocre. The room (and hallway) had a really stale smell, the toilet didn’t always work right, the sink is a very small basin, and there was a constant pulsating whirring mechanical sound that came from the vent where the AC came from. Anytime the air fan was off, this mechanical whirring was on. Not particularly pleasant stay for us.

Probably the smallest sink I’ve ever seen. Could do better. Elevators? One ran floors 2-5, the other 1-4? Room on floor 5, car park on floor 1. Had to change elevator to get to car at 4 am to get to early flight.

Excellent free breakfast with coffee, snacks available all the time. Kitchen manager accommodated my dietary needs- gluten and dairy free. Large , well-maintained rooms, near Burlington and area breweries. Convenient guest laundry in basement. Very pleasant staff and front desk employees. I highly recommend this hotel near Burlington and airport in VT.

Breakfast was good, a nice selection, great hours 7am to 10 am!! The rooms were very clean, something that's extremely important to many people who travel. The staff made it work for me even when I had booking issues, very happy customer.

It was not cheap... Kinda expected.

The pool and the gym was not what I’d hoped for. Pool was way too small and too many kids, the gym did not have any mats to stretch.

We went to the Hampton Colchester for 3 years in a row. No problems, a pool, a buffet breakfast. This year, they acted like a greedy corporation. Have they been bought? The quoted price was augmented by 33% for taxes and services. What services? The money was immediately charged on our credir card. Breakfast was NOT included. I called the hotel for a refund and they said they would have to check with the company first (luckily, we were refunded). Never again! Sadly, this situation repeats itself in many, many places.

Location was challenging because of the road construction. Breakfast was better than expected. Staff was professional and friendly.

THE BREAKFAST was very nice with many choices. The room was nice and the Location was convent for my travels. Pets don't belong in motels.

Overall everything was great. Room was clean and ready upon arrival. Was explained to where everything was and how to get there, along with hours. The breakfast was better than I expected. Staff was on top of keeping everything moving and stocked.

Second elevator wasn't in operation, making the wait time longer than usual for most guests

We stay at this property when we are in northern VT. The rooms are clean, breakfast is offered with a variety of breakfast choices, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

For being a pet friendly hotel, there were no trash cans outside for pet waste.

Free breakfast was great. Tons of choices both hot and cold. Free coffee tea and beverages 24hrs which was great too. Fitness center was what I would expect and worked fine. Free water bottles in the gym was nice too.

The hotel staff is always friendly and inviting and the rooms are always clean and they are always ready for a good night rest. We stay here when we come to Vermont to see my son or pick him up to come home. He goes to college in Burlington at champlain

We appreciated the ease of having our esa pup with us. And the staff was very nice.

The floor wasn’t vacuumed, the bed was uncomfortable and the room we were put in was sharing a wall with the gym. There was banging right on the wall the bed was up against, slamming doors and equipment noise both in the evening and first thing in the morning. No idea why anyone would have the idea to put a room there and then have the audacity to charge so much for a room like that (almost $300 for one night). In Addition we were given no info on check out, facility times etc. The water station was broken as well as the elevator. It was just unfortunate to have our one night stay there be so uncomfortable.

There was a smell of smoke in the room and hallways. The room was not vacuumed thoroughly and not as clean as expected. There were no tissues in the room so we had to ask the from desk. A surcharge for our pet dog was added to the final bill well above the quote mentioned in an email. Disappointing stay.
