L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal, la plage est très proche. Un casino est à proximité immédiate pour les joueurs. Des petits dépanneurs sont également proche tous comme les transports publics.

La non présence de brosse pour wc (la règle apparemment dans les hôtels aujourd’hui) et un problème de port usb défaillante.

Veldig misfornøyd med at vi hadde med barnebarn på 5 år og booket det med balkong så vi kunne nyte kvelden ute når hun la seg! Men før hun sovnet satt de i gang med konsert rett under balkongen vår😬 ett voldsomt bråk så hun sovnet ikke og vi kunne ikke sitte ute… ble sittende i senga for å roe henne. Trodde dette var 1 kveld så sa det satt iblant kveld 2 gikk vi ned. Da var hotellet overbooked og de hadde ingen rom til oss. Så det ble noen kjedelige kvelder. Konsert fra 22.00 -23.30 og trøtt barnebarn hele dagen etter🫢

Hotellet ligger rigtigt godt ved stranden og lystbådehavnen. Personalet og servicen var rigtig god især på The Level. Udsigten og rengøringen oversteg forventningerne.

Der var for mange liggestole på for lidt plads ved pool området på The Level.

Che in reception nonostante sono in 4 o 5 persone nessuno parli l italiano.e che ho prenotato per 3 persone e la camera avevamo solo due letti.abbiamo riferito il problema alla signorina.che ci ha detto che avrebbe provveduto.tornati di notte non era stata cambiata la camera.un receptionist ci ha portato il 3 letto.ma io ho pagato per una tripla non per una doppia con un letto che era mini.

Perfect rich breakfast, close to the beach and city

The location is superb. The marina is on one side, one of the beaches and the castle on the opposite side and the town on the third side. The airport bus has a stop very close by. Our room was on the 4th floor with a small balcony and a good view of the marina. I have been to quite a few hotels in Europe but this was the first one I have been to with BBC1 and various ITV/C4/5 channels. The reception staff were all excellent and friendly. On one occasion my wife slipped on the side of the pool and fell over. All the staff, from the pool attendant to the duty hotel manager, could not have been more caring.

The walls seemed quite thin. Reception rang us to say the occupant in the next room had complained that they could hear our TV. However, from the moment we got into the room, we could clearly hear their TV but we didn't want to make a fuss. I was not a great fan of the door key being on a wrist band, which could not be removed unless it was cut off. However, I can see that from the hotel's point of view that it probably saves a lot of lost key cards.

J’ai adoré la suite junior pour 3 personnes, très confortable et j’ai dormi comme un bébé, alors que je n’étais que dans le canapé lit !

Le buffet du soir était correct mais un peu redondant et la qualité de certains plats discutable.

Perfekt plassering i forhold til Strand og by. Store, rene rom med komfortable senger og puter. Utrolig hyggelig personal.

Altfor lite basseng og solsenger i forhold til størrelsen på hotellet. Dessuten var stranden veldig crowded (reiste i september). Det er ekstremt lytt mellom rommene, jeg hørte naboene se på spansk tv, hørte når folk gikk forbi rommet ute fra gangen og det var generelt lite soundproof. Dette synes jeg er dårlig for et så dyrt hotel. Bestilte room service to ganger, middagen var rett og slett forferdelig. Jeg kommer nok ikke tilbake til dette hotellet.

Vi likte utsikten mot havna og de to balkongene. Planløsningen på rommet var god og hadde to baderom, et soverom med en stor dobbeltseng og et oppholdsrom med en sovesofa. Det var kort vei til stranden og til mange restauranter og utesteder. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake for å bo der en annen gang ♡

Det var ikke så rent på det ene badet da vi kom, men det ble ordnet dagen etter.. Ellers var alt veldig bra.

В ресторан внизу просто так, даже для жильцов, попасть невозможно, что абсолютный бред для 5* отеля! Необходима какая-то запись, хотя ресторан все время стоит пустой! После чекаута и закрытия счета отель без объяснения причин списал дополнительно деньги! На запрос о причинах отель не ответил, также не смог помочь и хелпдеск букинга! В целом отель не новый! Если номер выходит на сторону порта будьте готовы слушать вечернюю программу до упора!

Lo que más me gustó fue el trato del personal, tanto en recepción como el bar Bribone, el cual recomiendo para desayunos y cenas. La ubicación es perfecta, está en pleno centro. Las habitaciones son correctas con varios tipos de almohadas para que puedas elegir. La pulsera para abrir la habitación en lugar de las tarjetas.

La relación calidad-precio deja mucho que desear. El hotel está tan céntrico que es demasiado turístico. Con muchas habitaciones, pocos ascensores y las instalaciones escasas para tantas personas. La piscina pequeña, sin zona para niños pequeños y si llegas tarde te quedas sin hamacas. La limpieza, si la habitación no esta vacía a primera hora te quedas sin limpiar. Nos pasó un día, bajamos a desayunar a las 11h y ya no nos arreglaron la habitación. Tuvimos que pedir que por favor subieran toallas al equipo de Guardia. La playa no tiene acceso directo desde el hotel, tiene una salida por el lateral, que cierra cuando se va el socorrista y tienes que ir hasta la avenida para llegar a la playa. La playa preciosa, la famosa playa del Postiguet pero con muchos robos y hurtos.

Sve nam se svidjelo, hotel je izuzetno čist i uredan. Osoblje je vrlo ljubazno, došli smo ranije čuvali su nam torbe prije prijave i nakon odjave. Ispred hotela je stajalište taxi, vrlo povoljno. Lokacija je odlična sve je blizu

Na bazenu je stalno puhalo, inače je sve ljepo uređeno čisto.

Lovely premium room and we chose access to the Level which was a real treat . Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is located in a very central area to explore the city right beside the beach and close to lovely restaurants.

It’s a pity the level sunbed area is in the shade for most of the day perfect for reading and relaxing but not if you want to sun bathe . Our room was overlooking the recycling bins and they were quite noisy late at night when markets finished and first thing in the morning so no sleep in while we were at the Meliá .

Perfekt läge precis bredvid havet och väldigt centralt, flygbussen stannar 200 meter från hotellet, väldigt trevligt personal, de hade väldigt lite solsängar och man fick byta platser till andra sidan hotellet när det blev eftermiddag. Hotellet är bland de bästa frukosten jag upplevt, det fanns allt och lite till.

La puerta del baño estaba detriorada por alguna fuga de agua y la reparación bastante deficiente. LA puerta de entrada a la habitación también se debió ver afectada y no cerraba bien. Había que asegurarse de que no quedase abierta

The Level check in experience was worth the extra money. All the staff were friendly and professional and made us feel special. The variety of drinks and snacks in the Level lounge was great and the breakfast was also very good. The suite was clean and well appointed and we ended up having the sofa bed made up to a bed so we had two adjoining rooms with an en suite each which suited us better.

Everything! Location is spot on. We stayed at the level and it was well worth the upgrade. The room was lovely, views over the harbour were lovely on an evening. The restaurant and poolside at the level were lovely. Would 100% recommend

Veldig fint og moderne hotell med meget god standard og perfekt beliggenhet nært stranden, restauranter og sentrum av Alicante. Allt var innenfor gangavstand. Fantastisk frokost! Vi anbefaler virkelig dette hotellet!

Bassengområdet er pent, rent og ryddig med en bra poolbar med godt utvalg av is, mat og drikke. Men bassenget ligger i skyggen store deler av dagen og det er få solsenger i forhold til størrelsen på hotellet. Det er ikke barnebasseng og det er litt rart siden hotellet ellers er bra tilpasset familier med barn.

We had a wonderful experience at Meliá Alicante! The hotel has a fantastic location right by the sea, and the views are absolutely spectacular. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and elegant, and the atmosphere of the hotel made us feel relaxed and welcome throughout our stay. One thing that particularly impressed us was the restaurant staff, especially during lunch. They were extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, always with a smile and genuinely willing to help. They made us feel truly welcome and contributed greatly to our enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Meliá Alicante and would definitely be happy to return!

Overpriced and overrated property !!! Rooms with different categories ( sea view, city view, regular room, premium ) is a total joke: a marketing gimmick to get you to pay more. We had 3 different type of rooms and I can assure you they were almost all the same. The pool area is extremely small for a hotel this size, the same with the common areas, restaurants and lobby.

Der Balkon mit Meeresblick war fantastisch. Die Nähe zum Zentrum. Taxis standen immer vorm Hotel. Sehr ruhige Zimmern. Sehr freundliche Kinderbetreuung.

Das Frühstück war für eine Massenabfertigung gut geeignet, man musste aber anstellen und warten. Das Zimmer war erst nach 15 Uhr fertig. Viel Geduld bei den Aufzügen (Kinderwagen und Koffer in einem Lift).

Værelset var stort, flot og fin terrasse. Loungen over forventning og helt klart de ekstra penge værd. God beliggenhed ved havn, centrum og strand.

Jeg bad specifikt om et stille værelse på The Level, og fik alligevel et værelse helt henne ved hovedvejen (mod havnen). Da der er dårlig lydisolering var det næsten umuligt at sove pga. støj fra vejen. Samtidig var der fest på naboværelset den aften vi ankom. Vi troede den ekstremt høje musik kom fra havnen men det viste sig at være naboværelset. Vi fik dem til at skrue ned kl 01, men det var stadig støjende og jeg sov stort set ikke.

The only positive was the cleaning of the rooms and the location . There is a reason they do not give you sizes of the pool online , it is the smallest pool of any hotel we have ever been to . It is roughly 10mtrs x 7mtrs in a triangular shape which serves 545 rooms , so you can only imagine how busy it gets . Due to the position of it , it only gets sunshine for a few hours in the morning / early afternoon , where only 20 or so sunbeds are in the sunshine . Very disappointing , also trying to get a sunbed is a complete no chance .Because of the sheer amount of people in and out of the pool the area surrounding always soaking and dangerous . We witnessed one older woman slipping and hitting her head . The service at the pool bar was extremely slow again due to the volume of people . We asked to upgrade to the "Level " which has another pool which supposedly only serves 100 rooms . But it is even smaller than the main pool . We agreed a price of 80 euros per night with staff at reception for the upgrade but on the morning we were due to move they said " breakfast isn't included " and wanted to charge us another 180 euros for the breakfast for 4 nights . So all in an extra 500 euros extra . No thanks what a complete scam . After asking to speak to the manager , he came out , spoke to the girl in spanish ,then walked away , Great customer service !! We definitely won't be returning to this or any other Melia hotels .

Celebratory Anniversary. Staff went above and beyond to support additional romantic gesture request. Perfect location in the city centre close to beach and easy access to next nearby beach outside centre. Good public transport links, uber, taxis outside hotel. Great restaurants and promenades. Market just outside open till late. The hotel has everything you will need from buffet breakfast, to facilities and daily family entertainment. Pool, gym, sunlougers, changing rooms, etc...The hardest bit was to leave the hotel and return home. Would stay again and highly recommended for a high end stay. P.s. onsite bar and a highend restaurant too but unfortunately I didn't have a chance to explore.

Mnogo velika gužva , čekanje na lift, čekanje na doručak, nema mesta na bazenu, ima bazen koji se vidi sa prozora sobe i koji se vidi na slikama na sajtu hotela koji ne može da se koristi, osoblje na recepciji ne zna najbolje engleski niti je najljubaznije.

I had the most wonderful time in Alicante. I stayed at Meliá Alicante with Level Access, and the entire experience was exceptional. The staff — truly the greatest asset of this hotel — were the highlight of my stay. Every single one of them was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Everything was done with genuine smiles, and nothing was ever too much trouble. To single out one person would be impossible, because every member of the team was equally warm, professional, and eager to help. They consistently went above and beyond to make our stay better every day. Their kindness and dedication made this trip unforgettable, and I would return in a heartbeat.

Jó szívvel ajánlom minden tekintetben 5 csillagos a hotel. Ritkán járok ennyire igényes szállodában, és nem tulzok.

Mi augusztus 20 án érkeztünk 4 napot voltunk minden személyzeti tag kedves volt figyeltem. Aznap délelőtt amikor bejelntkeztünk velünk a hölgy passziv volt kicsit. Csak azért írom le. Hátha másnak is rosszul esik.

Prémium szoba közel 500 €/éjszakáért, ehhez képest szennyvízszag volt a szobában. Nem cserélték ki és kompenzációt sem kaptunk. Rossz hangszigetelés, egész éjszaka zaj az utcáról és a folyosóról, pedig az 5 emeleten voltunk. A medence környéke elavult, a kiszolgálás és az ételek minősége pedig messze nem üti meg egy ilyen árkategóriájú hotel szintjét. Nagy csalódás.

I had a wonderful time at Melia Alicante. I have a nice room and very comfortable sheets. Hotel is very close to the beach. The Hotel pool towel can be used at the beach which is very important for me because I forgot to bring my own beach towel. I also went to see Flamenco show which located few minutes walk from the hotel. The airport is accessible by bus. A nice promenade nearby at the hotel with lots of option to dine. I went for a hike at the castle Santa Barbara via Barrio. Another option is by shuttle or a lift just across the beach. It exceeded my expectations and Im coming back.

I’m conflicted about this review. The Melia Alicante has a fantastic location right next to Postiguet beach, the marina, the Explanada and the old town. It’s very busy and has a lot of life about it. Most of the staff I dealt with were very pleasant. But my premium seaview room was disappointing because the hotel is chevron shaped and my room was deep in the “v” so while I could see the sea, I could see nothing else except other guests’ balconies. When I raised this they gave me another room the following day with a view of the beach and the castle. Fair enough. But one day I tried to use room service. They told me the menu on their prominently advertised app was wrong and to use the printed menu in the room. It contained exactly the same menu as the app. Everything I asked for “we don’t do that” despite it being on two menus. They also hung up on me twice during this. In the end I gave up. I complained at reception, who did nothing. Appalling service. Also given the price and its 4* status, the room and services don’t live up to the standards of their competitors, who also offer things like bathrobes and free water each day, while the fridge in the Melia is an expensive mini-bar. The hotel is trading on its location and has become complacent. It could be a great hotel, but they need to look at how real 4 star hotels operate.

Great location, some drawbacks. The location is the best in Alicante, near everything you need, restaurants, bars, beach etc. the check in process at the hotel is chaotic and takes way longer than it should. So many details are needed and the reception have to phone housekeeping each time to see if a room is ready. After queuing for around 20 minutes we were then told the room wasn’t ready and to come back at 4. You also have to queue again and activate the room key on your band. There has to be a quicker and easier way to do this! Breakfast was fine and the pool was nice but quite small for the size of hotel. Would stay again as the location is so good.

A hotel minden igényt kielégítő szolgáltatásokat nyújt. Kényelmes, szép, tiszta szobák, gyönyörű a tengerre néző panoráma, kellemes a medence. A reggeli, vacsora választék bőséges és finom, a medence, napozóterasz, bár is ergonómiában és kényelemben nagyszerű. A személyzet nagyon készséges. 1 percre a központ, a kikötő, a villamos és a tenger.

The location was great and the balcony and view was lovely. Breakfast was good too.

Not enough sun loungers to the extent couldn’t get one. The pool was also much smaller than it looked in the pictures and when busy you hardly had 2 metres of space spare in the pool. For a family who the pool is a centre piece of their holiday we couldn’t use it once.

Location is fantastic; rooms are nice but furniture is cheap and would have expected more for the price. Breakfast was fantastic and very varied, would recommend! The reception area is great and piano music was a fantastic touch at arrival. There was flexibility and we could stay in the swimming pool even after check out and this was great and much appreciated.

The swimming pool was a massive let down: small, overcrowded, slippery, dirty, and too much in the shade. Seats are reserved since very early in the morning by people that leave soon after having placed their items on the sun lounger, and it is very hard to find a decent spot.

La situation de l’hôtel proche du centre et de la plage. Le lit très confortable.

L’hôtel est immense mais avec une piscine minuscule, la 2e piscine étant réservée à certaines catégories de chambres. Peu de transats pris d’assaut dès 9h du mat ! Les files d’attente pour se rendre au petit déjeuné… bref l’usine à touristes !

Underbar läge med fint utsikt nära marinan. Om man vill vara lite för sig samt nära till central så är det ett bra val.

Priset var överskattad gämför med faciliteten utbud. Utbudet av frukusten var bra men dålig kvalitet.Man har ätit betydligt bättre mat ute i spanska restauranger. Middags buffet var inte heller något särskilt. Har bott på Melia hotel i Dubai och det är inte jämförbar. Parkeringen var full också.

El suelo de la piscina es altamente deslizante, prácticamente una pista de patinaje. El personal del hotel se esforzaba mucho en secarlo, pero no era suficiente. No sería muy costoso un recubrimiento antideslizante que ofreciera seguridad a los usuarios.
