The Westin Toronto Airport

Very close to the airport, the shuttle was appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, toiletries were plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants with walking distance. We would stay again!

The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Muskaan at the reception actually helped solve an issue. I was prepared to be pacified with words, but ultimately be ignored, but she took my concerns seriously. I am very happy. Frances at breakfast was very attentive as well.

I don’t think it’s clear on booking that shuttle is not free. $8/person would have added $16 to cost for a five min drive. We took a Lyft instead for less. Couldn’t tell from maps but I think walking might be possible. Tacky to charge

Swimming very congested and small. Water is salty in the pool. No changing room. No shower in changing room.

The lobby is modern and stylish. The pool and workout room were well appointed and clean. Most of the staff were super helpful. Beds are very comfortable.

The room could’ve used a very good dusting, the window was very dirty with hand prints and grease stains.

The Hotel has been consistent in the quality of services they have provided us over the past few years. We use it as an overnight stay when flying back home to Calgary or flying from Calgary to a destination other than Toronto.

Elevators had a few issues during our last two visits but for this visit they were perfect.

Do not stay at this old, horrible hotel. Long time Bonvoy member and Starwood beforehand. My son and o came for one night after a later flight that arrived around 10pm hoping to get a good sleep before continuing our family trip to Toronto. The hotel is dated overall and smells dank everywhere. When we got to our room there was dirt all around the door and throughout the room. Then we noticed that the one whole wall had the wallpaper peeling off with black mold all exposed underneath. We called and after approx 30m of waiting they moved us to another room and apologized giving us breakfast vouchers. We started to settle into the new room and my son pointed out black spots and stains all over his sheets and four pillows. We called and asked to be comped so we could move to a Sheraton at the airport a few km away and they refused saying we’d already been given breakfast vouchers. We ended up just leaving (after 1am) at this point post a day of travel) and moved to a nearby Hyatt Place. Cost me an another room charge there just to get out of the Westin so my family could get some sleep. Didn’t get to bed until 3am and a terrible experience overall. This should not be called a Westin or a Bonvoy property. The whole place smelled like mold and must. Dirty all around! and dark old rooms from the 70’s. Never had a problem at a bonvoy property prior. This place was horrible. Don’t stay there even if it’s for free. If I could give it a zero, I would.

Check In hat sehr lange gedauert. Qualität und Ausstattung des Zimmer entsprach nicht der Preisklasse. Parkplätze mussten separat bezahlt werden und waren alles andere als günstig. Ich hatte bewusst den höheren Preis in kauf genommen, in der Hoffnung ein besonderes Erlebnis zu haben. Wurde aber enttäuscht.

Hotel charges you a fee to take the shuttle to the airport and they charge you for wifi. If you sign up as a member they will give you free access but the process is cumbersome and it gave me an error and would not allow me to join so I ended up using cellular. The restaurant is expensive with average food. The hotel room was dark and dreary. Our flight was cancelled so we spent the second night at a property across the street rather than deal with all the ridiculous hidden fees. The other property was across the street, $28 cheaper, much nicer, wifi was free, there were no hidden fees, and the shuttle was free. Avoid this Westin. There are better options nearby.

Breakfast staff were particularly gracious and attentive. I was very impressed with the food and the staff at breakfast.

I did not appreciate the eight dollar fee for the shuttle to the airport. After a pleasant stay the fee felt chintzy and left a bad taste. Does the marginal revenue justify the loss of goodwill? I would revisit the idea.

Staying close to the Toronto Airport was crucial so that we could catch an early am flight! The hotel was fabulous with a luxury, upscale feel.

Parking was 32$ for the overnight. 🙁

The driver who took us to the airport should improve his English pronunciation and speak louder because, due to our poor hearing, we couldn't get off at the correct location. Because of this, he had to take a long detour to drop us off again at the Flair Airlines terminal. He should have been more considerate of his customers. We were in the back of the van, and even though he opened the door to let some WestJet passengers off, he didn't return to the correct terminal. It was our first time at that airport, so we weren't familiar with it. In this situation, one would expect someone who lives there and knows the area to have helped better, but he got annoyed and reluctantly went back and dropped us off at the correct terminal.

This is not the nicest Westin I have stayed at, however it is a great option for staying near the Toronto airport. It’s a smaller, busy hotel, but I found all of the staff to be kind and helpful. I especially wanted to acknowledge Joanna, the assistant manager, who was being harassed by a guest while I was checking out. She remained patient, professional, and calm while handling a clearly difficult guest. Where the Westin fell short for me was the lack of bar soap and lotion in my room. I had to use the body wash to wash my hands. It appears the hotel has undergone a refurbishment, but it felt somewhat low-budget. The bathrooms in particular could use a refresh to better meet the usual Westin standard. That said, if I were in the area again for a quick overnight stay, I would choose this hotel because of the convenience, hospitable employees, and the many food options within walking distance and available at the hotel itself.

The shampoo and conditioner only was expecting more from the beds. Too soft for me

You have to pay for WIFI, TV did not work well. I could not understand the instructions when we signed in. Very confusing. The shower did not drain well

Front desk when I checked in wasn’t friendly and just didn’t seem happy.

This is a great hotel , a few mins free shuttle from Toronto Pearson . The rooms are spacious , well appointed with the fantastic mattresses on the beds .. Across the street is the Keg steakhouse and across the rear parking lot is Ruth’s Chris steakhouse.. so you can walk to two great restaurants from your room in 2 mins ! A great spot , highly recommended as an airport hotel ..

Very comfortable bed

I wasn’t able to take a shower as there was no hot water when I tried to, and not enough time to sort it out before I had to leave for the airport .

Because if I stayed there during the week it was one price but because it was the weekend you jacked your prices double for the same room. Just trying to rest before or after a flight same room same price??????

We stayed here for a couple of nights prior to a flight to Roatan. The hotel was lovely, great room. We enjoyed the view watching planes fly into the airport, but there was no noise. Friendly staff. Walking distance to an assortment of eating places. Bus stop at the end of the road which we used to visit Square one mall. The shuttle was convenient to take us back to the airport and ran every 30 mins. However when we first arrived we did have a considerable wait for pick up and to be honest if I was coming in winter I’d probably get a taxi or uber. 50 minutes in the cold would be too long a wait.

Very clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom very clean and worked well. Complimentary shampoos etc is always nice. Very good breakfast.

I was surprised at how poor quality this hotel was. Even the basics weren’t done well. The room was tired. The bed frame on one of the beds was obviously damaged and in poor condition. The shower has wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. In the morning when I went for a shower and pulled back the shower curtain, I discovered, one had fallen off the wall and was placed on the edge of the tub. In my four days stay, no one repaired it. (For context it was glued and the caulked to the tile.). The colleagues I was hosting and travelling with all mentioned that each of their rooms had issues The hallways the wallpaper has seen better days, the entire maintenance of the hotel is looking tired, scuffed, scratched and dented. The restaurant. Breakfast was good, server was friendly. However, that’s where it ends. The staff have created side stations in the dining room using a heavily chipped and dented table. Serving tray were piled with dishes and covered with a napkin on tables in the dining area. Not what you want to stare at well, you’re having your buffet breakfast. The cocktail lounge. Four times I went in and had three different servers. Each time, I was greeted with a polite hello and a ‘What can I get you?’. Each time I answered, ‘A menu so I can see what you have’. It didn’t matter if the lounge was busy or slow, they seemed to be unaware that menu is warranted. When it was slow, my server walked off to get the menu and forgot to bring it. About five minutes later, we had to go up to the bar and interrupt the staff conversation and ask again. The was only ten people in the bar at the time, and four were in our group. When the lounge was busy, the staff were clearly overwhelmed. There seemed to be no supervisory presence or assistance. Didn’t meet service expectations, hotel is worn and tired. Not worth the room rates they are charging, you can find better at Toronto Airport

Toronto Do not stay here! 998254715 Despite being an American hotel chain, the management team and staff are impolite to American guests. The manager has pulled all us products from their bars, staff were less than accommodating and rude when we presented our us passports. When asked to speak to the manager or passant manager, I was told no one would talk with us and handed a blank sheet of paper to leave a note. Find a different hotel if you want to be treated as a guest.

Dated bathroom, old bathtub, not as fresh and clean as should be. It was as if room had been empty for a time and bathroom and surfaces not freshly cleaned. Painted doors and trim needed wash/paint as not clean and trim chipped. Elevators..stained, old carpets. Other available rooms similar. Needs an update and thorough cleaning.

I loved the dinner menu as well as the breakfast buffet. The staff were very helpful and friendly and even went above my expectations at certain times.

I had a horrific experience at the Westin Toronto Airport Hotel. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but on this particular occasion my experience was so terrible and disappointing that I would like to share it. 1) My room and bathroom were dirty. When I first walked in, I noticed that there were hairs lying all over the bathroom floor, the sink and the bath, and there was a clump of wet toilet paper stuck to one of the walls. The floor of the bedroom was covered in dust and there was a coin under the bed (clearly the floor had not been cleaned). On the bed, I noticed some brown and black stains. I went down to the hotel reception and asked for clean bedsheets. The member of housekeeping that came up to change my bed was very unsympathetic and rude. He told me that the stains on my bed were permanent (impossible to remove) and he threw the clean bedsheets that he had brought onto the dirty footrest of the couch. I ended up having to change my bed myself. 2) Similarly to the room, the breakfast buffet was also dirty. There were greasy and slimy marks of the chairs and the buffet food did not look fresh. One of my friends ended up suffering from food poisoning and we strongly suspect it was from the breakfast buffet. 3) When I called the hotel upon arriving to the airport, the reception staff promised that a shuttle was on its way to pick me up and would arrive to me in 7 minutes. After waiting at the airport for 20 minutes, I called the hotel again and was told that the shuttle was on its way. When the shuttle eventually arrived 10 minutes later, the driver calmly told me that the shuttle picks passengers up from the airport every 30 minutes. I wouldn't have minded waiting, but I don't understand why the reception staff had to lie to me. My experience at the Westin really ruined my holiday and I would never recommend for anyone to stay at this hotel. There are many much better alternative hotels around the airport.

Location was good and shuttle bus was great, convenient. The room was nice, and roomy: comfy beds.

The door on the bathroom wasn't a regular door, but was a sliding barn door style. Not great for the bathroom. No fan in the bathroom. No complimentary breakfast.

The phone number to be picked up was ringing busy constantly so that was frustrating. Other than that it was good.

We really liked our room, it was big and spacious with a king sized bed that was very comfortable. My wife really loved that it had king sized pillows as well. We used the jetway park and fly and it was just next door which was an added bonus. Also the Keg restaurant was just across the street.

Everything we needed went smoothly. It was convenient to what we were there to do. The beds were very comfortable AND they provided ample pillows, that did not sink flat once you laid down on them. Our room felt very big. The elevators were very quick. And the the Crosswinds had both a delicious breakfast, and dinner.

Wife and I stayed there night before our vacation to Antigua. Very close to the airport and the free shuttle that runs every half hour is a huge bonus. I parked my vehicle for 8 days in their parking lot and it was only $100. We ate in the restaurant and the food was nothing short of fantastic. A little bit pricey but not having to drive anywhere in Toronto traffic is well worth it to me. Hotel is spotless. Rooms are quite clean and fresh. We will be staying and parking here from now on. Thank you Weston.

a broken elevator and lack or control in the parking lot when hundred of people are leaving- both gates should have been left open and someone should have been in the lot to help people get out quickly

Pool was ok

Booked months ago. Given 2 rooms directly outside elevator beside the convention areas. My preference was away from elevator on a higher floor as written in my Marriott profile. I was given a handicapped room which for a woman is not suitable. No where to put any toiletries in the bathroom except the back of the toilet (yuck) and a very tiny table where the towels, Kleenex and soap went. There was no blow dryer in the room. I had to borrow from next door. Waited at the little store for over 20 minutes to buy a drink and eventually just left. Early morning and late night noise from the conventions. The fridge was barely cold and didn’t keep drinks cold at all. The temp in the room was off as I couldn’t put on anything warmer than 20.5. Overall wouldn’t stay with Westin or Marriott again.

The hotel was amazing. Staff was very polite. Extremely professional answered all my questions. I highly highly recommend getting the breakfast. I cannot say enough good things about that breakfast. You will not be disappointed if you stay at this establishment.

Probably one of the most underwhelming Marriott property I have stayed at - tired, old, and not kept up in all areas. Room experience was bad - poor quality furniture, dim lighting, lamps flickering, shower supply bottles empty, missing towels!

Located just feet from the airport, solid hotel. Rooms were quiet, though I could hear noise through the adjoining room door. Beds were incredible and the thick duvet was appreciated. Solid location for a conference. Staff was excellent, especially the staff looking after our food needs. Personable!

Excellent airport hotel. The shuttle goes to the airport every 30 minutes, 24 hours. It will also pick you up from the airport if you call.- the wait was not long. Staff is very friendly and food at the restaurant was excellent. Exterior of the building is a bit dated (and because it's near the airport, limited stores nearby) but the interior is beautiful and it also has a really nice interior pool (and gym).

The hotel is falling apart. Have stayed many times in the past. Staff is average, lacking positive attitudes. Rooms are tired
