very clean and comfortable room, great customer service
The swimming pool and hot tub are cold
Loved the big open restaurant and the game room off of the swimming area for the kids.
Hot tub wasn’t very hot And the chairs in the game room off the swimming area were cold and wet. Maybe different wipeable chairs would be a better idea in there with the water so close.

Floor 5 was very loud

I especially appreciated the Marriott hotel restaurant and snack stand. The snack stand was a delight with really nice breakfast offerings available. The restaurant I visited twice and was greeted and served by the kindest staff—absolutely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Also, kudos to the cook; the bibimbap was outstanding. Likewise, my room was very clean and had an exceptional view of the city. Having an airport shuttle was a definite plus, making my visit that much easier to navigate. The front desk was wonderfully welcoming and professional.
The room was lovely and built to be quiet, but the door allowed the noise of the hallway to be distracting. I spent my morning lounging before an evening concert, and I appreciated the privacy honored when I hung the privacy notice. However, on a break, one cleaning staff member was watching a video loudly on their iPhone in the break closet, next to my room, but with that door open, the broadcast filled the hallway. A half hour annoyance, but a pair of earbuds…
Beautiful place and good proximity to the airport with airport complimentary shuttle.
Renovation was ongoing while guests were in, we suffered noise for over 2hrs before we were relocated to the top floor.
Clean, staff was very friendly and helpful
Room was clean and newly renovated. Close to the highway.
The room was way too expensive for what you got. I had prepaid for breakfast and my wife went to get some and bring it back to our room. The breakfast was buffet style. She loaded up a plate for both of us and then was a sailed by a staff member who clearly was on a power trip. My wife was told to eat what she had. A simple sign that blocked the path into the area and told people, “Please wait to be seated”, would have avoided the situation.
Handy location, close to airport. Lovely property. Clean and inviting. Appreciated the staff accommodating us as best they could for an earlier check in since we arrived on an early flight and were completely exhausted. Staff were very kind and helpful. Would def stay again!
The buffet was very good. I would have liked to have free breakfast available.
The hotel is near the airport, and it offered free shuttle bus to and from the airport every 30minutes. The staff was polite, and the whole hotel was nicely decorated in the World Cup theme. They gave us free beverages, as well as free ice cream. The room is spacious and rhe beds were comfortable.
Our biggest problem was the deposit we gave to the hotel. We ended up extending our stay for one more night, and we are not exactly sure if our deposit was returned. We asked at the reception, but it was not properly explained to us, and we honestly have no idea. Also the restaurant in the hotel had a decent food, but nothing special.

Restaurant staff very attentive and entertaining..
The staff in the linen with a dreadlocks never been helpful in the elevator .totally don't want to engage conversations.just look at us strangling to move our stuff. Other staff exceeded their performance.like the ladies in the lounge club and bar restaurant breakfast
Meget venligt personale både i lobby og i restaurant
Rooms was very cleab and comfortable
Elevator was broken. Very inconvenient for going up and down
With so many Bonvoy properties around Pearson, I haven't stayed at the Toronto Airport Marriott in over 20 years. It was always priced higher than neighbouring properties and, with what appeared to be its most recent renovation dating back to 2008, I simply never saw the value in paying more for what looked like an aging hotel. Boy, was I surprised. As someone who practically lives in hotels with Ambassador status, it's easy to point out the things that were done wrong and detract from an otherwise positive experience. Hat's off to the team who upgraded this hotel properly. Instead of the typical "lipstick on a pig" bathroom renovation, where an old bathroom gets a new vanity while the original 1980 door and ceiling access panel are simply painted over for the fifth time, it seems like they actually renovated. Everything feels new and intelligently executed. The bathroom is spacious, with the closet built seamlessly into the layout. There is generous counter space, an illuminated mirror, quality plumbing fixtures, modern Decora style switches and outlets, and a serene colour palette. Even the vanity has been thoughtfully designed, offset from the wall to wrap around the baseboard with the toilet paper holder cleanly integrated into the cabinet. That's the kind of detail that tells you someone was paying attention. The room itself continues the same theme. The bed is new and comfortable by Marriott standards. I wasn't a fan of the thick polyfill pillows, but that's a very minor criticism I'm happy to overlook because everything else was spot on. Despite being beside one of Canada's busiest airports, we never heard aircraft or airport noise throughout our stay. The M Club didn't disappoint either. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast offering was well appointed with plenty of choice. If the rates don't skyrocket and remain reasonably in line with neighbouring properties, I've found my new go-to Pearson hotel without question. Well done, Marriott.
Rooms were newly refurbished
Was aware of the building works but were still very loud even from a few floors above. Impossible to have an afternoon nap.
From the moment we checked in Stacey was so friendly. We stayed for 3 nights on our last day it was our nieces birthday and we decided to have a picnic in the family area outside. On Sunday morning, I went to the front desk, Diane was so accommodating notifying the houseman that we would be using the grounds outside. The rooms are updated and are impeccably clean. We have stayed at properties at the airport and this is our favorite hotel by far.
Rooms were lovely. The staff were also very helpful. Good
What is with Marriot hotels not providing water in rooms. I just don't get it.
Solid airport hotel. Quick checkin, easy parking. Clean room, basic amenities, no complaints.
Close to the airport
That we found multiple spiders and no shower gel while showering otherwise was good
This was our first stay at the Toronto Airport Marriott in over 26 years, and it was wonderful to return. My wife and I live in the United States and were visiting the Toronto area for a family event, which gave us the opportunity to stay here again after all these years. The Toronto Airport Marriott is one of the older Marriott properties in the area, but it has been beautifully renovated. The guest rooms, lobby areas, and hallways have all been updated and look fantastic. The renovations have done an excellent job of modernizing the property while maintaining its welcoming atmosphere. What impressed me most, however, was the customer service. Of course, the staff we met and who cared for us 26 years ago are different from the staff we encountered during this visit. Yet one thing has remained remarkably consistent: the commitment to excellent customer service. From the front desk to housekeeping, and from the dining room and café staff to everyone we encountered, there was a genuine commitment to making sure we had a great experience and felt valued as guests. This stay reminded me that what makes a hotel memorable isn't just the building itself, but the people and their dedication to hospitality.
Location was close to Toronto airport that’s why I chose that. However, overall experience was horrible and we cancelled our further stay after spending overnight stay there.
Very noisy, construction work going on and it was a torture for guests not able to get rest. Breakfast staff was very unorganised and we didn’t like breakfast either. Staff was rude on reception in morning when we complained about the constant noise and loud construction noise to disturb our rest time.
Customer service and cleanliness
Wash rooms too small and the price was bit over
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel has a large space on the main floor for gathering. We were able to sit and have some drinks while the kids played. Lobby has free popsicles which the kids loved. Rooms were updated and we found them very comfortable and clean. We got fresh towels every morning and enjoyed breakfast at the M club. Our waitress here was amazing!! Very friendly and pleasant. They have a great outdoor space and pool area for the kids to burn off some energy. Nothing bad to say about this hotel 🫶
They have steam iron not the traditional one!
Close to the Airport
Very comfortable. Clean. Pleasant staff
I travel frequently for business and pleasure and generally stay in a Marriott property. On a recent visit to Toronto, I selected this Marriott near the airport for my colleagues and me. I had stayed here previously and it is close for a late arrival and convenient to the meetings I schedule. I would not normally think to write a review, but i was so impressed with the renovation and personal attention that I received. Just fantastic. It was a short stay, but i have to call out the front desk and, especially, the young lady who was working in the M Lounge on the morning of May 14. These people rock! We were four traveling together and we needed to take a video call. This young lady (I wish I had her name) first moved us to a semi private space and then found a conference room to give us full privacy. Not because we asked or for a fee… just to be helpful. Super nice and super impressive. Thank you Marriott. You will see us again soon.
For the price the view was of a roof with vents, beautiful.
Dining area was very very loud with many teenagers and was quite cold under vents.
The Marriott Toronto Airport Hotel is 0 out of 10!!! In April 2026, this hotel is jack hammering the 4th and 5th floors and they are still selling rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. From 8am until 7pm, the noise of constant, all day jack hammering on the ceiling is overwhelming and surpasses noise tolerance. The 3rd floor room smelled like you were walking back into the 1970’s. The room smelled smokey and musty. The air conditioning did NOT work and the room a/c was set at 16°C but I was sweating. Upon complaining to the front desk staff, the was offered a can of Febreeze to use during my stay and a desk top fan. The front desk staff refused to move us to a different room, which me without the noise of constant Jack hammers!! The Marriott headquarters customer service refused to assist as well. The rep offered to charge our credit card for the one night and offered quotes from other hotels we could book in the area…as last minute bookings $$$$. They also refused to change our hotel room. I have never had such BAD and disrespectful customer service or front desk staff. Marriott is no longer with n my list of viable hotels to spend my money on. They do not respect or value my BonVoy membership, loyalty or my hard earned money. … !!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!! WARNING!!!!!! Save your money and stay at a motel!!!
The rooms are refreshed but the door arrangement for the bathroom is terrible. It swings towards the vanity and there is no room to get to it unless you stand beside the toilet and then close the door first. But I want to give this property a 4 star because Sylvie in the lounge made my day. She's friendly, attentive, and just made my breakfast very enjoyable, perfect to start the day. Also the 2 staff in the lounge fixed me some small appies when I checked in right around when happy hour was over. This hotel has great staff. Thank you.
Lounge ladies during cocktail snacks was less social. Putting a welcoming smile works and brightens the day. Continental breakfast in the restaurant was awesome with welcoming crew.they take care of us! Cleaning crew done and excellent job! Will come back again !
The noise construction in our last day!
Friendly and courteous staff
Came for a surgery and had an amazing stay. We stayed in a brand new renovated suite and had M club floor. The hotel staff saw I was quite immobile after my surgery and provided me with a wheel chair to get around the hotel a lot easier! The staff went above and beyond from the ladies at the bar and restaurant to the M club staff- just exceptional hospitality. I will definitely be back.
Location was exceptional, very close to the airport, and they offer a shuttle
The staff in the front desk was ok
I find as time goes on, my Marriott membership means less and less.
Parking rates even though the fella at the counter gave me a break. The only reason why I booked there was because of the free parking I thought was the case.
Enjoyed my stay. Staff were pleasant. Accommodations were clean and up to date. The food in the cafe were very good and we enjoyed every meal we ate in the hotel.
Enjoyed my stay, however a few items caught me by surprise. Paying for parking at $30/day was not ideal, I really do not like to submit emails, as I already am bombarded with emails, but having to submit my email address in order to use the wifi is not my first choice.
Staff very helpful. Room very comfortable & spacious. Very clean. Well equipped.
Although we knew the upper floors were under renovation, contactors should NOT be drilling at 3 am in the morning, nor working during the period midnight to the morning. Otherwise we could have rated our staff as superb. One small issue was for tea drinkers we would never use water not boiled in a kettle. But the coffee was good!
i like that no matter what time it was that i came in i was greeted with the same smile. staff was great. when needed new comforter they came right away without any hesitation. overall great experience.
the property was well kept
my only complaint is that there was a blood stain on the top comforter didnt notice until the following day. why is breakfast not included?
Friendly lobby staff. Smells nice and clean.
Conditioner was empty for showering. Noisy neighbours until 1am and nothing was done about it.
The breakfast was excellent. It was a buffet and the staffs were friendly
I can't think of anything I don't like at the moment
The room was all new, fully renovated, and modern. Well thought out design and details The bed was very comfortable Breakfast was provided as an M- Club upgrade for us…food was very good
Easy to get around staff were polite and welcoming
Access to Pearson airport
T.v. service was poor

Hello Ann I have stayed at your iconic Marriott hotel quite a few times and I’d suggest you do more than some lip service to your 1 star reviews and your 3.8 rating! I’m a Titanium member and tend to agree with some of the poor ratings regarding your hotel! I’ve stayed 3 times over the past 2 months with issues each time. Your customers are trying to tell you something and you’re not listening!! This past week while checking in, I parked the car on level 3 for the stay and when I came back up to the lobby to check in a Buffalo Hockey Team was checking in, when I went to the far MEMBERS ELITE COUNTER one of the hockey moms accused me of skipping the line, so I returned to the end 8 couples back, the front door man or bell man was standing there, I quietly asked him about the check in process and “your sign on the wall” and he responded that; YES IT SAYS ELITE MEMBER BUT WE DONT USE THAT HERE; customers just take there turn in line? So I waited the full 50 minutes while the Team checked in. I also had a room booked 6 weeks in advance, that I had received a suite upgrade along with the room number, but was told that suite was no longer available ( 8:00 pm) was when we arrived due to a late flight. Your also classifing the “new renovated rooms as UP GRADES”? Really…… your spending funds to bring the rooms up to standards and your calling this a ROOM UPGRADE??? I’d suggest Ann you consider taking an updated course in Hotel Management and Customer Relations. Sincerely Marriott titanium and IHG Diamond member7
If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and don’t. I’m honestly impressed at how many things one hotel can get wrong at the same time. The room felt like it hadn’t been updated since dial‑up internet was a thing, the “cleaning” looked more like someone waved a feather duster in the general direction of the furniture, smelt like a dead body was in the room, dust on walls, furniture scuffed-up, bed skirt ripped and torn [see pics] .Coffee place employees was 'MIA" at 6:20 in the morning, and returned with her purse and needed to fill machine with milk before acknowledging paying customer, $29 to park in an empty parking lot, all this for a "Gold Elite". received inept form letter from ANN BALRAJ,Guest Experience Coordinator, Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel, ann.balraj@marriott.com, 4166797698 that was full odf marketing-speak and nothingg worthwhile. I slept like crap before a Business Mtg, not her. Asked her to pass along to Hotel GM and crickets. Marriott you have a problem-child on your hands! Complete garbage!
Beds and pillows have to be the most uncomfortable things possible
Staff intraction.
The parking was paid. This is so annoying. It feels like taking advantage of the guests. In canada only i have seen these kind of things which isnt great to be honest.
We have stayed at this property several times with the parking package. It is one of the more affordable hotels in the airport area with underground parking and a free shuttle. Currently there are renovations taking place. It did not bother us. Previously when we stayed over a weekend a sports team was very noisy and annoying. Late check out until 2 pm was appreciated. Certainly hope renovations will include higher toilets in the bathrooms. Good value for 1 night with 2 weeks indoor parking.
Staff in restaurant
Shuttle bus employee. Very rude did not assist when people were struggling with their luggage to get off the bus. Just sat in the drivers seat. Very ignorant both on Sunday abd Monday. Same shuttle staff
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice.

Cost was high considering the construction. Carpet in room definitely needed the reno.
I loved everything here. I’ve been coming to this hotel for 20 years to stay at and never had a bad experience
My check-in experience felt very transactional, lacking warmth or hospitality. The hotel itself is quite old and doesn’t justify the rates they’re charging. There are several nearby three-star options that are newer, cleaner, and more modern. This was my first stay here — and it will be my last.
Food was good! Staff was friendly

It's near to the airport and i stay for 3 nights.

Not much. Over priced. Room was clean however
Breakfast not included with a $275 room. An extra 65 dollar charge for breakfast buffet. Bed was terrible and needs to be replaced. Additional charge for parking on a $275 room is just insane. The website does not mention these additional charges when booking a room. Finally, upon arrival we were told the elevators were not working in a multi level facility.
Complete pleasant stay Very clean & accommodating
Got booked on second floor with the hockey group. Entire teams of 7-8 year olds turned the hallways into their personnel hockey arena at 8:30 am. Something is very wrong with the constant water hammering of the pipes all night long in room 227. No sleep !!!! Crappy stay !!!

Clean room and loved the hymn
This hotel is extremely expensive for an average experience. I paid over $400 to spend one night in a room by the elevator with a view of the train track directly outside my window blocking any kind of view if there was one. The room itself was updated, seeing other reviews here I feel like I dodged a bullet, the location of the room was terrible but the room was updated and clean. They also seem to prioritize silence and have signage on the floors asking people to be quiet. The hotel offers little amenities, their only restaurant looks like a food court, but the food is good but expensive. They have a small pool and small gym, other than that there is not much to do at the hotel or near by. I had trouble finding the entrance but eventually did by taking the parking garage elevator up to the top and walking across their parking lot. It was strange and not "near" the airport terminal as I assumed, more across the street and up the parking garage elevator.
Great experience!
No information on shuttle service. Took a taxi instead and was questioned by staff like I was an idiot. Hallways are dirty. Room is dated
Old. Needs updating
Close to the airport, the shuttle was very convenient, friendly staff and comfortable beds
Within walking distance from Globe Life Field.
