Handy location in the city.

Had slight issues using the laundry facilities - couldn’t get access at the advertised time of opening, also washing machine didn’t seem to be working.

Nice room, with comfortable bed. Good parking garage with direct hotel access. Good location to check out the market and to access union station and the sports venues.

we had difficulty figuring out the air conditioner and how best to optimize its use, consequently we both had difficulty getting a good night's sleep.

Poco accogliente, non accessibile in quanto solo per veicoli bassissimi, quindi bisogna cercarsi uno in zona lasciando l’auto per strada, cantiere in corso su parte dell’edificio, Personale molto di corsa e poco friendly. Spazi per la colazione ricavati all’interno della hall che si intersecano con il flusso verso gli ascensori.

À peu près tout en fait. La propreté, le fait que la chambre a été faite entre les deux nuits que nous avons passé, et aussi le fait qu'il était très bien situé pour nos besoins: nul besoin de prendre le taxi ou le métro, tout se faisait à pied et nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Lors du deuxième matin, il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'oeufs au déjeuner, et le rare bacon n'était pas assez cuit.

El desayuno no favorece a los turistas no anglosaxones. Necesita mas variedad de quesos. No hay embutidos. La fruta en trozos, cuando se acababa, no ponian de mas. No hay xocolate para la leche de los niños.

The location is nice and right next to a park. It's a central location and less than a 30 minute walk to Sugar Beach and the CN Tower. The parking was very convenient too.

Our first night there, the fridge didn't work. Maintenance came and replaced it. The third day, there was no hot water due to a gas issue. I didn't like that I wasn't even offered some kind of small refund for the inconvenience. We didn't have hot water to take a shower until the afternoon and it threw our day off. I mentioned this at checkout and they didn't do anything besides say that they hope it will be better next time. I was very disappointed by this. I stayed there last year and it was a great experience and expected better.

Le petit déjeuner manquait un peu de variété et de constance. Certaines journées les choix étaient biens d’autres peu de variété.

L’air climatisée dans la chambre était extrêmement bruyante.

Déjeuner inclus dans le prix était vraiment complet et a rejoint tous les membres de notre famille!

Les réparations a l'extérieur rendait moins évident notre accès pour faire le check-in.

Room was spacious, clean and modern. Had all facilities needed including an iron and board :) and coffee machine. Good size bathroom with plenty of room for our toiletries. Reception area was very welcoming. Very pleased with this hotel.

Included breakfast which is great but could have had a slightly better choice. Kettle in room would be good.

Excellent spacious room with lovely ensuite shower room - including Dove toiletries. Had everything I needed. Buffet breakfast had plenty of options. Location was perfect, easy walking distance to all of Toronto's main tourist attractions

After checking in and paying for parking, we pulled into the parking garage to discover we did not receive the correct parking pass from the front desk. We had to back out of the garage and go back to front desk to ask for a valid parking pass.

De locatie van dit hotel is prima. Vlakbij St. Lawrence Market. Goede douche.

De kamer was, voor 3 personen met bagage klein. Niet genoeg ruimte om kleding op te ruimen of om koffers open te laten liggen. De kamer rook niet fris, natte hond, en was benauwd. De schoonmaak was redelijk maar overal lagen haren. Ik vermoed van de schoonmaakster zelf. Niet fris. Ontbijt was slecht. Weinig keus en papieren borden en plastic bestek. Wij zullen dit hotel niet nogmaals boeken.

Zimmer brauchen mal ein update. Dusche statt Badewanne. Frühstück Angebot sollte besser sein.

The windows were disgustingly dirty, shower Rod broken, no toilet paper when we arrived. No couch to sit on just the beds, air-conditioning unit very loud

The hotel was very nice. The people working the front desk were helpful. Check in was very quick and easy. The shower had good pressure. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options. I had eggs, oatmeal and fruit.

Staff is very friendly. The day we arrived, the person at the front desk took the time to show us places near by in line with our plan. He explained to us why taking uber will be more economic than the ttc for our group of three, and in fact we did save some $$$. Holiday Inn Express is always my first option because by experience they are the best option for family trips.

Complimentary water not available the first day. AC needed termostat reposition. One side of the room was colder than the other.

Good location, just 20 minute walk from Union Station; so good access to Toronto Pearson airport and the surrounding area. The hotel is slightly dated; that said there is a lot of renovation (May 26) going on across a number of the floors at the moment. My room was very comfortable and clean. The problem I had was with heating unit as it would go off in the night as the temperature dropped and sounded like you were standing near an aircraft. You certainly couldn’t sleep through it. Also the fridge compressor would kick in every half an hour or so and like a lot of these old fridges was noisy enough to wake you. The usb ports on the electrical panels didn’t work and some of them were broken so you couldn’t attach a cable. I did report these issues and hopefully it is something they are addressing through the renovation work. Breakfast was also a plus with decent choices typical of the Holiday Inn Express range. Would certainly consider staying here again once the renovations are completed.

I was put in the Holiday Inn Express by a company I work with for one night in May of 2026. While not my first choice when staying in Toronto it is a fairly decent option for staying downtown. The hotel is fairly centrally located but not as well placed as some similarly priced hotels in the downtown core. If you’re not into walking (I enjoyed the walk) it’s a bit of a trek to the area around the CN Tower. I find you can get more for your dollar elsewhere in downtown. It is however nice and close, about a six minute walk to the St. Lawrence Market if you’re ready to eat everything in sight. That being said the staff was friendly, room was clean although a little tired and worn down and the hotel was quiet and calm even at night offering a nice respite in the middle of a busy city. If you’re on a budget but still want to fairly central then this is absolutely a viable option.

This was a pretty terrible experience. I realize it was a busy night in Toronto and was pouring rain, but the notice of construction didn't come up until AFTER the non refundable confirmation. they were understaffed and the staff who were on duty were over-stretched. the information about the food "delivery" robot was incomplete and delayed and required several phone calls, then arrived without cutlery. THEN there was a fire alarm that evacuated the entire hotel at 3:30 am to stay outside for 30 minutes in the rain, then another 20 minutes to get back up the elevators. (and PS one elevator is down, so getting the elevator in the morning took another 20 minutes). The lineup for the free breakfast was extremely long. And all of this for a very elevated price.

Hotel is excellently located toward downtown attractions. Room was clean, beautiful view. Laundry facilities there to do your own laundry, wash and dry for $5! Every single staff member we encountered were friendly and helpful! The breakfast included in room rate was top notch. This hotel is a gem and we loved our stay there.

Good hotel in a very convenient location. Looks like room was recently decorated but some USB sockets not working. No kettle in the room, just a coffee machine so couldn't make a brew very easily. Breakfast was standard but nice and buffet style. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Bit of noise (car horns/ sirens) could be heard from the road through the night, even on the 14th floor, but we were tired so it didn't matter!

Easy to get to, arrival and drop off area, good parking. We had a last minute stay because of medical appointments at the hospital and unsure of how long we needed. I was able to check in early and they called me to check if we needed to stay another night after more appointments !

The room was very clean, and the hotel is located in the heart of downtown (or very close to it), making it easy to walk around and explore. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is parking available for an additional fee, but it’s definitely worth it. The breakfast was good, and overall, it’s a place I would happily stay at again.

The room was very ok, clean and with all needed facilities. The breakfast was the same every day, not very easy to choose a healthy meal. The location is very good, close to Toronto downtown.

There was a group of teenagers that were doing a lot of noise on the hallway every night, no adults/hotel staff to tell them to keep quiet. Would be nice in these cases to put them at the same floor, rather than mixed with other guests.

Les lits étaient confortables et l’hôtel est très bien placé. C’est facile d’accès en voiture et c’est pratique d’avoir directement le parking bien que ce soit en supplément

Le petit déjeuner était bon mais nous devions attendre que de la place se libère pour s’asseoir, les fauteuils étaient très sales, tout comme la moquette dans la chambre. De plus, nous avons été averti qu’une fois la réservation faite qu’il y avait des nuisances sonores dans la chambre à cause des travaux, sans compensations.

This hotel had more to offer than expected of one with the “express” tag. The location was perfect with easy access to all the great TO downtown restaurants and attractions. There was minimal disruption from the ongoing refurbishment of parts of the hotel. My room was spacious and well appointed (most likely one of the refurbished ones) with a great view of downtown landmarks and the cityscape.

La ubicación del Hotel excelente, se puede salir a caminar por el centro he ir a diferentes lugares entre ellos la CN Tower, la habitación muy cómoda y limpia, servicio al cuarto con Marley muy divertido, el desayuno todo muy delicioso.

We stayed here for Christmas. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was clean and well maintained. A short walk to the streetcar and subway. Close to St. Lawrence Market.

breakfast was great! location was awesome - my friend and I were there for a concert at Massey Hall and we loved that we could walk there, and to a number of different restaurants, coffee shops, and museums. Loved that we could also park in the garage, too; we drove from Buffalo and access off the QEW was great too.

Boa localização, perto da Dundas, onde estão localizados shoppings, lojas e restaurantes. Fica a uns 30 minutos do aeroporto Pearson. Instalações novas, muito limpo. Quarto amplo com armário, micro- ondas, frigobar, tábua de passar roupa, cofre e televisão. Café da manhã muito bom com muitas opções. Água, chá e café disponíveis o dia inteiro.
