breakfast was wonderful. light in the room, spacious room, terrace with view to the sea.

toilet water running all time. safe box was open and locked, so couldn't be used. I asked to send staff to fix it 4 times during 2 days!!! They never came to fix it. servide at reception was soooo slow!!!

Loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. The negative was the lack of restaurants and stores in the neighborhood. The hotel itself without a store really misses a gap here. I loved the room and the balcony view we had was incredible. The staff was extremely nice and helpful everywhere.

Lack of a hotel store that sold food or groceries. Without an option nearby this would be a big win. The food options were lackluster. The breakfast buffet was incredible and I wish there was a breakfast option in the restaurant itself too when folks miss the breakfast.

We had a superior double room with sea view, the room was spacious with a good bathroom, facilities and comfortable beds. The hotel in general is very large with a nice pool, gym and restaurant.

We booked a double room but had two single beds, which we couldn’t change. If you want to go to the town back and forth then it is a good 1km walk so going back and forth in a day is a bit long, is perfect for the marina and Balmins beach.

Albergo di livello buono, il punto forte direi che è la colazione, molto ricca e completa di tutto. Uova, frittate e pancakes fatti al momento, e frutta fresca tagliata.

Un po’ caro. Le camere melia al piano terra affacciano su una distesa di pietre, non è granché. Nella mia camera si sentiva puzza di fogna e da fuori proveniva un rumore assordante e continuo di qualche motore (anche di notte) che non consentiva di tenere il balcome aperto. Ho fatto presente la situazione in reception dopo un paio di giorni e per fortunata mi hanno cambiato la camera, al quarto piano, decisamente piu’ tranquilla e anche un po’ panoramica. La posizione non vicinissima dal centro , ma un po’ decentrata. Lenzuola del letto pulite ma la pulizia della stanza è da migliorare un po’ tutta.

The room service is very bad for a 4 star hotel. I was sick and even with a all inclusive room, they didn’t provide breakfast in room. All the room service even provision of cutlery was charged. The cleaning lady was not cooperative, rather asked us to leave room even for bed making.

Le fait de ne pas avoir eu un lit kig size comme demandé mais 2 lits simples collés. Les plateaux repas utilisés qui restent au sol des heures entières devant les portes. La clientèle très bruyante dans les couloirs (il faudrait des panneaux de rappel de respecter les autres clients). La piscine trop agitée par les enfants qui hurlent et plongent alors qu’il est noté que c’est interdit. Pas du même standing que le Melia de Valencia.

Cleaners never got to our room to clean until after 5pm some days which was when we wanted to relax in the room. Had to wait over an hour to get into my room after checking in at 3pm. A special birthday request had to be reminded 4 times before they did anything.

The staff are very helpful, courteous and always smiling. It is very quiet, so perfect for relaxing. Lots of loungers in the swimming pool, but we went to the beach everyday. Food is very good too.

The swimming pool was quite warm for my taste.

This is an upmarket hotel with pretty good facilities on the edge of the town. The room was good. Like the rest of the hotel, it was very clean and had a modern, streamlined look. Some might say it lacked character - it depends on your taste. Everything looked fresh and new as if it had just been constructed. The bed was also comfortable and the aircon worked well in the exceptional heat we had during our stay. Housekeeping was generally good but there were some glitches, like our Nespresso capsules not being replenished two days running. The balcony overlooked the marina and the sea view was good. I did pay extra for that. The pool area was okay, but did feel crowded in August. We didn’t do breakfast which was as usual a ridiculous price. We were quoted €24 each per day. You can buy a 3 course menu del dia in Sitges for that! We saved a three figure sum by simply having breakfast in town, usually at the 365 cafe/bakery. However on the plus side the hotel did give us free glasses for the eclipse. The main issue in summer is the walk to the town and back. It’s not far, a kilometre maybe - but it is exposed and the sun beats down on you mercilessly all the way. Sadly it’s not a nice flat walk by the sea either - it’s up and down all the way there. It would be fine in cooler weather but it is energy sapping in the heat of summer. Even at night we found the walk exhausting. Luckily a taxi is only about €8 - 11 each way using the meter. You may find yourself using them more often than you planned! Unfortunately the hotel is really too far out to be very convenient. If you don’t mind the taxi journeys then it’s not too much of a problem. Of course, if you visit outside the summer months it’s less of an issue. In all honesty we would not stay here again as we think proximity to the town’s attractions is more important. However it is a high standard of hotel and really only its location lets it down.

La ubicación: es difícil de encontrar y está un poco alejado del centro turístico, playas y restaurantes. Hasta las 3 del mediodía no nos dejaron entrar en la habitación. Y el parquing es muy complicado de aparcar. Las plazas son demasiado pequeñas y estrechas. Para un coche de tamaño normal y grande, es muy complicado.

Clean comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good, so much fresh food to choose at the buffet.

Elevators were a bit slow. There wasn't enough shade around the pool. The car park was difficult with a big car.

Don't stay here...Nil on reception was great..found us a good room...check in was great..hotel is clean...looks business like but good vibe.... Room 651 ...fantastic views...great beds ...shower was lovely.. AC could of been better but ok... It's cost ..£1500 for a wk..with breakfast.. The week there was ok..but I would never return... The Food was plentiful ..but bland...horrible. we never had 1 decent meal... If you are Spanish it may be ok..but for us it was terrible...cold breakfast...no change.. same everyday...boring..hot milk fir cereal.. No help or support. Trying to understand what was what..was difficult...leaning over to get to things... hot labels with no napkins... The lady who took your breakfast room no was lovely....but her and Nil ..the only 2 .. the service was awful... Rude..abrupt...rules rules.. No. no.. 1 min early for buffet....and told to stand outside...pool boy rude .unfriendly... 1 waiter made some conversation..but no one else... I don't think anyone could speak English ..in 1 wk...no one really spoke to us. Except to take plates or tell us off... The pool was nice. But squeaky steps...don't get bed near there... The worse part of the pool..is you cannont even attempt to sit at it till 10am...the tables at the pool are metal...and hot as hell. Any drinks just become hot in seconds ...umbrellas are good .but must share... The shower at pool is good..toilet good..but lock on toilet door..is so stiff. You could easily be locked in... This hotel was so disappointing and in some ways spoilt our holiday..it's my 1st Melia and Im not impressed... The place has great views..but it's to far from sitges.. and uphill...taxi was expensive...please don't stay here for any more than a day....it's more for business...and definitely has no chefs...or cocktail bar staff... 4 star it's not

Nos alojamos en la habitación 170, que tiene junto a la terraza dos máquinas de AA que hacen muchísimo ruido. No se puede estar en la terraza, y aún con las ventanas de la habitación cerradas se escuchaba, dificultando el sueño.

We were back at the Melia after a three-year break, and it is better than ever. There has been some renovation of the halls/rooms since our last stay, all for the better. The best feature is the staff - from the manager to the front desk to the bar to the cleaning staff. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. A really top team, who make it seem that the Melia is a great place to work. Our room was great, overlooking sea from the harbour side, with excellent air-conditioning, and the breakfast has everything you could possibly want. We will look forward to going back.

Our 4th summer visit to this wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Kristina and Erika in guest services. We had a birthday reward for an upgrade which was beyond our expectations. The new pool bar and seating area is a nice addition. Breakfast as usual was fresh and plentiful plus we dined one evening with friends which was a great experience. We always feel very welcome and at home in Melia Sitges and the town in general and look forward to our summer breaks here.

People who cleaned my room were the best! And paying extra to get a view although we pick the wrong time because the only time you could sit in comport was very early in the morning or after 9pm of a night because you had a whole day of sun and it’s to hot.

The food. Breakfast had some good choices however, apart from the cooked omelet whilst you waited was the only thing hot. All the rest of the so called heated food sitting there was barely warm. There really wasn’t what you called any real dining options of quality, the other cafe we found a few of the staff quite rude. Also a long walk to the old town or harbour for dining options and to the beach, maybe they should run a shuttle.

Just perfect!

Rooftop bar: Drinks were not only unbalanced and difficult to drink, but there was no garnish at all and ice had no shape anymore. We didn't receive any crisps or mixed nuts (anything) with the drinks...service was okey-ish but I expect more for a 16€-drink. I recently stayed at your hotel with my sister from 11th July for 5 nights We found the service to be excellent as are the rooms. I would like to compliment the following staff:- Dina and Reda in Saffron restaurant, Matius bellboy and finally Nisrin - guest relations. They were extremely accommodating and made our stay enjoyable Also the rooms are well maintained and beds very comfortable. One other person I’d like to mention is Aitor from Sitges Taxis. I have mobility issues and needed to go shopping-he was extremely kind and patient. Thank you Regards Louise Duma

Staff where great and very helpful. Rooms super comfortable. Pool was great but a little warm. A couple of degrees lower would be better when temperatures are at 35. Breakfast was very good and walk to the beach and town were lovely.
