The hotel is located by the sea, just 50 meters from the beach. The halls and lobby are filled with contemporary art inspired by Picasso. A quiet and peaceful place. Fantastic view from the room.

The furniture in the room was a bit old.

The location was lovely and the room was large.

Breakfast finished at 10am, which was too early. The hotel was rather old fashioned, with strange art around. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, so we were extremely hot at night.

Hace mucho pedí una cama grande y cuando llegamos nos dieron una habitación con dos camas y nos dijeron que estaban llenos así que no había manera de cambiarlo.

Ubicado delante del mar a 10 minutos en coche del centro del municipio, con una playa al pie del hotel. La habitación muy amplia y limpia, el mobiliario un poco anticuado. Pero todo bien. Al estar en la planta primera era un ruidoso.

Staff was friendly. The the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Close to beach not town.

I was disappointed with the view. I thought I would be able to see the ocean. I was told I had a pool view. Unfortunately, the pool was blocked by a nice tree. The toilet ran until I jiggled the handle. Long walk in the heat from the train station & long walk into town.

The location was removed from the center of Sitges, where the bars and nightclubs are located, but still walking distance. We purposely chose Estela for this reason.

At one time Estela might have been a 4-star hotel but now it’s 3-stars at best. The atmosphere is artistic with a very eclectic mix of paintings and sculptures decorating the entire hotel. The common areas and rooms desperately need updating. When we checked in the front desk staff were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. After seeing our first room we asked to be relocated. The room was very dated, mini fridge freezer section was caked with ice with no freezer door and it was located on the 1st floor above the restaurant terrace. The front desk accommodated our request and we were moved to the same suite on the 3rd floor and fortunately this room had some updates. Our suite had a water view balcony which was nice to sit outside but dingy and very difficult to re-enter the room from the balcony as there was no handle on the exterior of the slider. It was in the 90’s and the awnings that were removed from the balcony’s would have been a nice respite from the sun. Our booking included breakfast which was well-done with a nice assortment of food options.

Se suponía que teníamos vistas al mar, en 2 de las 3 habitaciones apenas se veía, pues estábamos en la primera planta. Esperaba algo mejor. Calidad - precio un poco caro en mi opinión. Las habitaciones bien pero un poco antiguas.

Rien concernant l'hôtel. Par contre il faut être vigileant sur la promenade qui mène au village car des pickpockets agissent sans vergogne. Nous avons été agressés en revenant à l'hôtel vers 22h. Ne rien prendre sur soi juste un peu d'argent pour le resto. Le problème semble récurrent depuis 3 ans.

L'emplacement qui est superbe. La décoration de l'hôtel avec comme thème principal le surréalisme.

Nous avons pris une suite avec jacuzzi. Il n'y avait même pas une bouteille d'offerte, il n'y avait pas de machine à café ni même une kettle pour chauffer l'eau et du café en sachet. Le jacuzzi fuyait. La salle de bains possédait une double vasque mais le robinet d'une des 2 vasques fuyait et était inutilisable. La piscine était nulle. Celle pour adulte était petite et on n'avait pied nulle part. Il y avait en tout uniquement 14 transats pour tout l'hôtel. La douche près de piscine s’evacuait mal et cela inondait là où il y a les transats et où les clients marchent ce qui était dangereux car fort risque de glissade et en plus le sol n'était pas en carrelage anti-dérapant.(probablement pour cela qu'il y avait un panneau interdisant de marcher pieds nus autour de la piscine!) Le petit déjeuner aurait été correct pour un 2 étoiles, limite 3 étoiles, mais pas pour un 4 étoiles. Ils fournissent les serviettes pour la piscine mais il faut retourner les chercher à l'accueil (ce que l'on ne vous dit pas lors du check-in) et si on reste plusieurs jours il faut les garder ou alors payer 1 euro pour en avoir une nouvelle propre. C'est mesquin et indigne d’un 4 étoiles.

Algunes habitacions necessiten una actualització. En concret, la meva tenia la nevera molt sorollosa al posar-se en marxa. Les instal·lacions (tumbones) de la piscina són insuficients pel nombre d’usuaris

The reception area was beautiful with amazing art, grand piano and decor. The small and larger pools were lovely. The staff especially one man, who got us a room change, couldn’t be more helpful. The property was close to beach and bus stop

The actual room need a revamp, so dated, the air conditioning was awful as it banged and rattled constantly, the bathroom wasn’t good as toilet holder came away from wall when pulled for toilet paper , whole room and bathroom very dated, black rim around bath and sink, shower blasted water onto floor as no covering. Kitchen area the fridge was black and filthy no door on ice compartment as thick with ice and hair embedded into the ice. The tiles on all areas uneven. We actually have to move room as when opening the fridge there was the previous guests..tomatoes, cheese and grapes still in fridge was wasn’t cleaned for our 11night stay, luckily got moved to another room. So got the price we paid which was a lot the room was very disappointing we thought it was a luxury hotel for that price

Antes de reservar leí los comentarios y la puntuación del hotel y según mí opinión está sobrevalorado. Es un hotel viejo al le faltaría renovación . Pintura saltada en las paredes, en el baño la mampara es tan corta que mojas todo el baño. De noche hubo mucho ruido a música que venía del exterior y nos impidió el descanso hasta las 3 de la mañana que es el horario que por ley deben cortar la musica. Me he quejado y dijeron que lo iban a hablar con gerencia para compensarme y nadie se ha comunicado conmigo.

El comportamiento del recepcionista a la hora de hablar con el personal el motivo si tú le hablas en castellano porque te tiene que responder en catalán porque cuando hablas con un inglés habla en inglés habla con un alemán habla en alemán y por qué cuando yo le contesto en castellano, me responde en catalán muy mala educación

The pool and outside area was terrible! Tiles missing, broken steps, insecure retaining walls, algae on the pool tiles above the water line and mouse/rat droppings round the top pool area where tiles were missing. Only twenty sun loungers for quite a big sun terrance and size of the hotel. If the owners put as much effort into the outside as there had been done on the inside the venue would be worth the rating. Currently the pool area is unsafe in my opinion for children.

Disappointing stay – strong damp smell and poor room condition We booked a Junior Suite with balcony and sea view and were really looking forward to staying here, but unfortunately we left within about an hour of checking in. As soon as we went into the room there was a very strong damp/musty smell, which seemed to be coming from the air-conditioning. The floor was also dirty and overall the room just didn’t feel clean or in the condition we expected from a four-star hotel. We went straight back to reception and explained the problem. A cleaner was sent up to the room, but the smell was still there. We then went back to reception and asked whether there was anything else they could do. We were told the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. We explained that we couldn’t stay in a room smelling so strongly of damp, asked for a refund and left to find another hotel. We hadn’t unpacked and had genuinely arrived intending to stay. What has been most disappointing is what happened afterwards. The hotel later told Booking.com that we had been offered alternatives which we declined. That is not our recollection at all. We have repeatedly asked them to explain exactly what alternative room or solution they say was offered, but they have never actually identified it. We ended up paying for another hotel for the same three nights. I appreciate that hotels can have maintenance problems and we would have happily moved rooms if another suitable room had been available. The disappointing part was not just the condition of the room, but the way the complaint was handled afterwards. Sadly, based on our experience, I couldn’t recommend staying here.

There was a wedding on Saturday night which meant the hotel was extremely noisy throughout the night, it last beyond reasonable hours. Terrible soundproofing meant you could hear everything.

Нам понравилось практически всё. Очень хорошее расположение отеля. Хороший завтрак , без излишеств, но все , что нужно можно найти. Особенно понравилась выпечка и тортики. Хороший ресторан, всё было вкусно . Вежливый и внимательный персонал . Понравилась идея отеля- художественной галереи, очень красиво! Номера, хотя некоторые в отзывах их критиковали, нам отель понравился . Очень удобные кровати и подушки ! Мы бы хотели приехать ещё , но только на более длительное время. Что скорее всего мы и сделаем в будущем . Спасибо за прекрасный отдых!

Hôtel un peu cher pour les prestations.

We had a very pleasant stay at Estela Barcelona. The location was excellent, right by the beach, and the hotel had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed being close to the sea and having easy access to Sitges.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were no major issues, although a few small improvements could make the experience even better.

Excellent location beach front, good size rooms with balcony. All hotel full of modern art pieces in Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism.

Would be good to have water free of charge, included in price

La chambre avec vue mer réservée sur Booking est très agréable même si elle était à moitié sur la mer et le port et non pas une des chambres face à la crique. La vue était quand même très jolie et c'était très calme. La chambre était spacieuse et très confortable. Le petit déjeuner excellent et très varié. Le restaurant propose aussi des menus abordables. L' hôtel à une crique juste en face idéale pour se baigner et proche du port qui propose aussi quelques restaurants.

C'est dommage qu'il faut marcher une demi-heure environ pour accéder au centre de Sitges qui est magnifique. Et nous regrettons le manque d'insonorisation entre les chambres (mais je pense que c'est le même problème pour beaucoup d' hôtels en Espagne)

Da simpatia dos funcionários, sempre super atenciosos. Da decoração do hotel, da limpeza e das condições gerais.

A pressão da água é extremamente baixa e a temperatura da água varia bastante. O pequeno almoço poderia ter oferta de aveia. Apesar de ser muito completo, a oferta de bolos e doces é muito elevada, sendo que os alimentos saudáveis poderiam estar mais presentes.

Rommene er utdaterte, og det er ikke den retro-stemningen som er problemet. Det er muggen der badekaret og gardinene møtes, og det gamle klimaanlegget som sluttet å virke den siste natta, noe som gjorde det nesten uutholdelig å overleve til morgenen.

It is an art hotel with paintings and sculptures that create an elegant and classy atmosphere. There is a a cozy beach just in front of it. Friendly staff and nice food.

I would be happy to have a device for hot water and coffee machine in the room, as well as an iron. Also, would add some vegetables to the breakfast - nothing fancy - just tomato (even though it is a fruit :) and cucumbers.

Meget vakkert hotell rett ved en flott strand med nydelig utsikt. Veldig spesielt og fint med kunst både på hotellet og rommene. Utrolig hyggelig og imøtekommende personale.

Det eneste minuset var en kjedelig frokost uten en eneste grønnsak.

When booking it was not clear to me that parking was an additional cost. We booked specifically because we rented a car. Staff were friendly, art was unique. Location to beach and restaurants were great.

Chambre très vétuste et salle de bain à refaire absolument, pas du tout pratique. Il faudrait vraiment rafraîchir la chambre. Ce n'est pas normal à ce prix.

Had a wonderful stay at Estela. The reception was nice, even managed to have our room ready before time. We had one of the larges suites and it was absolutely great. Very spacious! The breakfast was good - at times its quite busy, so eating early can be recommended if you prefer to have less noise. Being so close to the beach we never used the pool area at all. The only thing we missed was a gym, since its too hot to run/ exercise outside this time of the year. We will be coming back in years to come!

There was nothing we did not like , the aircon could have worked a little better - but its high season and really hot!

Da vi skulle sjekke ut, mente manager at vi skulle betale 2000 euro mer enn tilbudet vi hadde fått (og betalt for). Etter en telefon til Booking.com droppet han kravet, men det var en veldig uproff og negativ slutt på ferien. Ingen beklagelse eller noe. Samme person ba også om 1 euro for å skifte badehåndklær. Aldri opplevd lignende.

Neither the rooms nor the pool or the all-industrial breakfast (even in high season) met a 4 stars hotel expectations. Rooms need a serious update (the hairdryer was broken, the shower drain cover was loose, etc), the pool it doesn’t look like a proper pool, specially not for a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast was disappointing in all sense, supermarket mini yogurts, sweets that were not fresh, cold eggs, old bread. The shower walls were not properly cleaned before or during our stay, some black spots of humidity were visible in them. Travelling with a baby, we had to call reception bc the room was done only superficially, meaning the floor was never cleaned up. Overall a good experience, staff was super helpful, location is a 10 and the beach and Sitges town were amazing but it shouldn’t be sold as a 4 stars hotel.

Es gibt ein ausreichendes Frühstück. Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Trubel, eher ruhig und in der Nähe des Hafens.

Bra och fint läge. Lugnt område.

Un pic mai mult dacă se punea accent pe detalii de curatenie( perdeau murdară ) mici detalii. În rest doamnele de la curățenie în fiecare zi au schimbat prosoape și au curățat 🙏 . Iar mâncarea, dimineața ok dar în rest preparatele nu mai sunt așa wow ca acum 3 ani!

La ubicación del hotel, si lo que quieres es estar cerca de la playa. Los desayunos correctos y la cena bien elaborada y presentada.

El precio es demasiado excesivo y categoría 4 estrellas le viene demasiado. Se necesita una reforma sobretodo en las habitaciones, el baño poco iluminado en la zona de la ducha, armario poco funcional, en la terraza no vendria mal un tendedero para evitar dejar la ropa repartida por la barandilla, sillas, mesa... La tele no funciona bien, se aviso al técnico pero seguía sin funcionar después de revisar.
