部屋も広く、清潔感もあり、設備も良かった エクストラベッドやタオルの要求、電機の事などすぐに対応してくれた。

2階という事もあり，窓からは駐車場しか見えなかった。3人なのにタオルや紙コップなど、全てが2人分しか無く、届けてもらった。 サイトから朝食の変更を申し出たが，返答が得られなかった。シャワーの水の出が悪く、なかなかお湯が出なかった。

La camera tripla con letto matrimoniale e divano letto: il divano letto non viene preparato dal personale, bisogna chiedere le lenzuola e prepararselo. Ma questo sarebbe il problema minore. Non si tratta di un vero divano letto, il materasso è alto pochi centimetri. Scomodissimo. Assolutamente inaccettabile per la categoria dell’hotel, sarebbe corretto dire fin da subito che la stanza è doppia o che è necessario acquistare una quadrupla con due letti matrimoniali.

Abbiamo prenotato una tripla, il divano letto era ancora chiuso, su richiesta ci hanno portato lenzuola e cuscini ma abbiamo dovuto prepararlo noi.

Staff were very friendly.

The first two rooms we had were unacceptable, a leak and wet carpet in one room and a very strong smell of smoke in the other room.

We arrived late in the evening when we went to adjust the air conditioner the carpet was soaking wet which means its been leaking for some time my concern was that mold could be in the room breathing it all night my husband called in the morning to inform them when we checked out we informed them again and was given a free breakfast which was nice although there was hardly any food left in the buffet and waited 20 minutes for coffee as they ran out !

El ruido. Cada mañana empleados o huespedes se ponían a hablar con los manos libres a las 5h, a las 6h o a las 7h y nos despertaban. Si son empleados, muy mal servicio, si son huéspedes, el hotel no puede permitirlo. El desayuno muy justo.

There was no shower screen and despite best efforts to prevent it from happening when we showered the water would go all over the bathroom to the point it was pouring out into the rest of the room

Lits confortables, bon petit-déjeuner.

Personnel en dessous de tout, hôtel totalement impersonnel avec d'immenses couloirs basiques aux portes alignées et une esthétique de motel côté piscine. Les chambres ne sont pas faites tout les jours (ce n' est pas un oubli, c'est leur politique assumée) mais ce n'est indiqué ni lors de la réservation ni lors du check-in. Et lorsque ma femme est allée à la réception signaler que la chambre n'avait pas été faite, il lui a simplement été répondu que ce n'était pas prévu, qu'ils le faisaient un jour sur 2 ! Et quand ma femme, furieuse de n'obtenir que cette réponse, voyant que la manager, appelée, ne sortait pas de son bureau, a tenté d'aller lui parler directement, ils ont menacé d'appeler la police et nous ont dit de quitter l'hôtel dans l'heure. Après discussions, comme il était tard et que nous avions un petit enfant, ils ont condescendu à ce qu'on ne parte que le lendemain... La moquette de notre chambre était très sale, un peu poisseuse, humide près de la clim (un gros bloc à l'intérieur sous la fenêtre) et avec plusieurs grosses tâches Par ailleurs, la piscine est très bruyante (juste séparée d'un grand boulevard par une haie), la moquette des couloirs est usée, gondolée et couverte de longues traces noires sur tout l'étage. Un sac de déchets laissé devant l'ascenseur en fin de journée était encore là le lendemain à 10h... J'ai séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels, en couple et en famille, dans de nombreux pays, notamment aux USA, c'est la 1ère fois que je vois un truc pareil !

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was very handy, lots of eating options close by. Beds were decent and aircon was good.

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Bij aankomst werden we bovendien verrast met heerlijke American cookies, speciaal voor het hotel gemaakt. Een heel leuke en lekkere attentie die meteen voor een warm welkom zorgde. Dit soort kleine details maken het verblijf extra aangenaam.

Er waren ook enkele punten die voor ons beter konden. Het zwembad was op het moment van ons verblijf erg troebel, waardoor je de bodem niet kon zien. We vonden dit niet echt geruststellend en hadden hier graag meer aandacht voor gezien. Daarnaast waren er geen handdoeken meer beschikbaar aan het zwembad. Ook zagen we verschillende kapotte bloempotten en meubelstukken aan het zwembad, wat een minder verzorgde indruk gaf. Onze kamer lag vlak naast de liften. Hierdoor hoorden we gedurende de nacht regelmatig het geluid van de liften, waardoor we meerdere keren wakker werden. De kamers zijn naar onze mening onvoldoende geïsoleerd tegen geluid. Persoonlijk vonden wij dat de benaming “by Hilton” verwachtingen schept die tijdens ons verblijf niet werden waargemaakt. Voor ons zou er, om echt aan de standaard te voldoen die we van een Hilton-accommodatie verwachten, meer aandacht mogen zijn voor algemene netheid,

They had welcome cookies, which was a lovely touch.

The room was dirty (thick cobwebs on the walls, bathtub filthy, dirty towels). The coffee/cups etc had not been re-filled. We were missing towels for a room with four people. The adjoining door did not lock. The pool area was dirty and the pool water was disgusting.

Did not eat at hotel, but plenty variety of places to eat near by. Venice and Santa Monica Beach very close.

Schone en ruime kamer. Mooi zwembad erbij!

Vrij dure parkeerplaats (35 dollar per nacht) en de slagboom stond aldoor gewoon open..

Hotel was schoon en kamers waren prima.

Beetje dubbel gevoel bij dit verblijf. Bij aankomst zeiden ze eerst dat onze kamer nog schoongemaakt moest worden (na inchecktijd), en 2 minuten daarna was het verhaal dat ze de kamer niet aan ons konden verhuren vanwege de geur in de kamer. Maar het hotel zat vol, waardoor we een goedkopere kamer aangeboden kregen. Uiteindelijk wilde we zelf even de kamer zien en vonden de geur wel meevallen (had waarschijnlijk met de airco te maken). Toen toch de kamer genomen en we kregen nog wel de 1e nacht met 50% korting. Maar het was wel gedoe aan de receptie. Ook de slagbomen voor de parking werkte niet met de kamersleutel. Dat werd weer opgelost door de slagbomen bij uitrijden open te zetten. Dus al met al wel netjes opgelost, maar wij zaten hier 2 dagen en hebben voor die tijd best vaak aan de receptie gestaan.

We stayed for 2x nights to visit Venice beach. It's a nice area and lots of hotels around. Supermarket next door, nice and convenient plus good amount of restaurants. Short uber away from Venice / Santa Monica. Room was big enough, clean, safe, quiet and did the job. Pool was decent for small kids too. Free parking.

Beer at the bar its expensive and not great. Buy some from the supermarket! Room rate was expensive but its LA.

Reserved pool view. Was forced into parking lot view. I asked about this issue when I was checking out. Finally, Hotel later admitted there was a price difference and processed refund. Restaurant repeatedly ignored us while serving white guests first.

Incredible pool area and location can't be beat. The lobby is modern and updated and feels like a SoCal fantasy - exactly what you want on vacation. We had a 5th floor room on the far East end of the hotel. While the view was great - looking West to the Marina, it was a bit far from the closest elevators.

This hotel would benefit from adding more elevators. The most centrally located elevator in the hotel was the service elevator which gets a lot of wear and tear and needs maintenance.

Honestly very unsafe one of the people I was staying with seriously got hurt from a broken glass on the mirror it cut their hand very badly to the point where firefighters came and had to undergo 7 stitches INSIDE THE ROOM .it not only doesn’t end there the pool opens at 7:00 at I went down to take a swim at approximately 7:10 and they were still cleaning the pool guy then proceeded to leave I went in the pool he came back after a couple minutes and said to me he is still cleaning so I had to get out and on top of that not good coustmer service at all so this is my say on why the hotel mdr by Hilton is not a good hotel do not recommend.

There are lots of ways for a hotel to make their guests unhappy. The first is to promise some thing that they can’t deliver. I called the hotel directly to make a reservation, and I was swiftly transferred to their reservation line. When asked if they were on the water I was told yes. having lived in Marina del Rey. I did not remember this hotel being on the water, and I asked that question, but they assured me that it was. Upon arrival, it was quickly apparent that it was not on the water, although perhaps a mile away. That right there was a huge disappointment, and I should have realized they were not telling me the truth, as the price of the room was very reasonable for the area. In addition, it has the Doubletree moniker. It has been my experience with Doubletree Hotels are very nice. I would say this is one step up from a Hampton. Or maybe a couple of steps down from a real Doubletree. The downstairs lobby restaurant and pool area are very nice. Very comfortable very attractive. However the hotel is grossly understaffed. The restaurant only had two people working in it and they managed to keep everyone happy in the morning even though every table was filled and the bar was half full. The staff was clearly frantic. At dinner time it was the same thing. The front desk is understaffed. This is an airline crew hotel, which is generally a good sign, but the lines to the front desk are often long because there are crew checking in and out. My room was comfortable although the decor was not very well thought out. Especially in the bathroom. They had some funny little table underneath the sink that held the towels and it was exactly where you could bump your feet. Very much in the way. They had one small towel rack for the hand towels, that was next to the shower not next to the sink. There were no additional towel, racks, no hooks nothing. Carpeting needed to be shampooed in my room. It was sort of grungy and slightly sticky and also in the hallway is a great big stain. The hotel was very very busy. I don’t know if this is a year-round condition, or just happened to be because it was tourist season. Great location even though it is not on the water. It is near the water, but not on the water. When I asked for a late check out, which I asked, for the first day I arrived, and every day after I was told that they were full and could only provide a half hour late check out. That was not helpful at all. I offered to pay full price for the room, but they could not do it because they were too full. Again another disappointment. Won’t be staying here again there is a great deal of difference between ocean water and asphalt and I would’ve preferred a more upscale sleeping room. Hotel comped me half a night stay but really, the experience is generally disappointing.

Great location - close to stores, restaurants, and entertainment. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was convenient and good.

Our shower wasn’t draining and flooded the bathroom. Maintenance was prompt, but the staff should have offered something to make up for the inconvenience.

Friendly staff

I had a major breach of safety, security and privacy during my stay at this property this weekend. Yesterday, a room key was issued to an individual who was not listed on my reservation. This individual was able to approach the front desk, present her own identification, and gain access to my room despite not being an authorized guest on my reservation. This incident represents a significant failure of the property's security procedures and has caused me considerable concern regarding my safety and privacy. I spoke with the front desk manager in person regarding this matter, as well as several other service-related concerns I experienced during my stay. During that conversation, I learned that the front desk agent who granted access reportedly stated that the identification presented matched the reservation. This explanation is highly concerning and appears impossible, as I was not present at the property at the time, which can all be verified by parking records, front desk and security cameras. I was also very disappointed with my response from Hilton’s guest assistance manager when I called to inform them of this situation as my “complaint was recorded” but no recourse from Hilton guest assistance was provided. Very alarming experience that I hope does not happen to anyone else.

Some of the hotel rooms need work and the elevators should be renewed. I had to move rooms because the elevators should made noise that penetrated all the way to my room.

The manager was patient and showed empathy. She was calm and understanding.

The fact that I paid for two rooms. Bad communication. Did not get any warning or alert to pay, or that there would be a deposit upon arrival. The deposit is extremely high, $100 a night, 2 rooms, $800. I understand I was to get it back, but it was not mentioned in the messages or the receipt. Because I could have addressed it beforehand.

-Two lifts that worked -Generally quiet (seemingly not a partying hotel) -Clean room / comfy bed / modern functioning bathroom - Reception happy to provide / arrange extra tea, coffee, sugar milk etc. for the room without charge -Generally helpful staff

-Breakfast / meals / drinks within the hotel a little over priced -Sometimes long queues at the main desk during check in / check out times, with sometimes only one staff member at the desk (not the staffs' fault)

Nice with a boutique like ambience. Close to many food options and supermarket. Comfy bed and room. Fitness room adequately equipped with a couple of treadmills, elliptical, cycle and free weights. Breakfast options are great - gotta have the avocado toast - 2 thumbs up.

We didn’t have breakfast there, but we love the location of the hotel. We love the cookies that were given to us when we arrived and water bottles. The fitness room was great and the pool was also awesome. The bed was very comfortable and overall, my wife and I had a great time there.

Location was good and general facilities were good. General cleanliness wasn’t the best and one morning I literally walked around the pool area to tidy up after everyone had left takeaway wrappers and drinks bottles the night before. All in all though a nice environment and good breakfast.

the hotel was close to my brother's home and we traveled in for his wedding. The hotel was clean, the pool was lovely, the breakfast was wonderful and the staff very helpful.

we had trouble getting our car out of the parking lot as the gate did not lift for us. A staff member immediately came out to help!

Air conditioner did not work, New room smelled like urine. Not sure if pet damage cause?Our third room air conditioner worked but a bit noisy and controlled on the wall unlike the first room but the wall controls were hard to "wake up" & change. Likely they need new ones at this hotel.

Inside, the property is well maintained and secure.

Outside, but within the property's perimeter, it is nice and clean. Unfortunately, the parking lot is not gated and blends into a shopping center lot that has regular foot traffic of area transients.
