Hotel très beau, belle vue sur le port, chambre grande et propre. Belle piscine.

On avait pris chambre avec vue ville, on a eu une chambre avec vue parking. Vraiment pas terrible pour profiter du balcon. De plus notre chambre n'était pas prête à l'arrivée, on devait nous appeler quand elle serait prête. Or on nous a oubliées et en plus quand nous l'avons fait remarqué au réceptionniste, nous avons été très mal reçu, visage fermé et ton désagréable.

El restaurante salt espectacular. La habitación muy cómoda, acogedora y funcional. La piscina un plus para descansar. Es como un oasis en el caos de Los Ángeles.

El personal de recepción mal, hay una recepcionista q habla español y al llegar nos dejo con el check in a medias y llego otro con quien era más difícil entendernos, al hacer el check out igualmente la recepcionista q hablaba español supuestamente no estaba y salió de dentro para atender a otras personas y nosotros habíamos preguntado x ella y nos dijeron q no. La verdad esto fue bastante difícil de entender. La piscina muy bonita pero sucia el suelo y las hamacas y camas en mal estado y algunas rotas, esto al igual q incómodo da una imagen muy descuidada. La comunicacion con el hotel por los cargos a la tarjeta no ha sido fluida y no contestes al mail

The location was perfect. I am avid runner and the ability to hit two different great beaches one in each direction was great. The room was perfect and extremely quiet even though I was right above the restaurant. The staff were incredible and the bar was a perfect place to go around 2 pm.

It has its own very personal vibe. Really great location super comfy rooms. The reception staff made all the difference!

Management were appalling. Beds advertised as 2 queens but definitely smaller. Manager denied it and suggested I measured them, so I did and they were smaller than an official queen sized bed. Duvet cover was also dirty. Attitude of manager in the card on the photo was very obnoxious and not considerate at all, zero customer service knowledge and shouldn’t be a manager he really didn’t care, he even suggested he cancelled the booking and we go elsewhere. Obviously for a mum with 3 children that would have been a hassle considering we were there 1 night only. colleague was much more sympathetic and understanding. Restaurant quality was good but waitress didn’t explain that the cheesecake wasn’t New York cheesecake and to a British person that’s the type of cheesecake we know so I was disappointed to get the other version.

Clean spacious room, quiet location, easy to reach Venice beach and airport. They have bicycle service and 2h free but bicycles are a bit outdated most of them with simple pedal break system only.

Only one restaurant in the area. So for food you have to go outside and it will be either a little bit of walking or driving. A lot of tax on top of the price, tourism tax, marina tax.

The location of the hotel is wonderful on a beautiful harbour. Our room had a view of the pool and harbour. Room was nice everything we needed and no problems. Hotel is quite dated inside and the pool area. Reception staff were pleasant. Parking charges were ridiculous. Nice restaurant walking distance from the hotel an Italian called Uovo.

They charged me $54 per day for valet but when I called and told them we didn’t use valet they said that was the price to self park. So I should’ve used valet because it’s the same price which doesn’t make any sense.Everything in the room was noisy and I couldn’t sleep. Air conditioning would not go below 73. It was extremely hot in the room. The door’s made noise, the faucet made noise. The restaurant is extremely overpriced for mediocre food. Overall horrible experience. Would not go back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marina del Rey Hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice, and the hotel amenities exceeded our expectations. Our kids especially loved swimming in the pool at night, which was a highlight of our trip. We also really enjoyed the live music, which created a fun and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. The location was beautiful, and the overall experience made for a memorable family stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

Great location. The hotel is right next to the marina, and there are views of the boats, sunrises, and surrounding areas. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shopping. The staff is super professional and generous (thumbs up), especially when checking in, adding if there is anything you need: Please call. The rooms are well appointed, linens are fresh, ample towels, cups, and a good selection of pod coffees. I loved the bathroom sink and showerhead. Any hotel worth their salt has to have these two things, plus good soap!! There is also a grab and go in the Lobby, lattes are excellent, nice selection of juices. The hotel is an excellent value. This is my 2nd stay, and did not disappoint, a great vibe all around.

Hotel MdR has officially become my go-to Westside staycation spot and I don't see that changing anytime soon. The value here is genuinely hard to beat. Complimentary bikes to cruise the marina, cabanas to relax in — the kind of thoughtful touches that make a stay feel like a real escape without leaving the Westside. Big shoutout to Katarina from the Del Rey Lounge who delivered some of the best hospitality of the entire stay. She's the kind of person who makes a place memorable. I also have to commend whoever is behind the rebranding and marketing direction happening here. There's a clear vision and it shows. Someone is doing great work behind the scenes and it deserves to be recognized. If you're a Westsider looking for a staycation or have guests coming to town who want to be close to the water, this is your place. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay and found this hotel to be comfortable. The marina view is worth investing in.

It is a bit of a walk to get around if you want to head out of the hotel to get coffee or groceries.

A/C didnt cut the humidity. Not enough rooms with 2 queen beds, more expensive than it should have been.

Clean and cozy hotel. The staff is friendly and quick to help if you need anything. The pool is very comfortable, the water is warm, and the view is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

I had a wonderful stay at the Marina Del Ray hotel. My room was STUNNING with a beautiful marina view. I was informed by the front desk it was a recently renovated room and I was very impressed. The pool and outdoor area was lovely and provided great marina views. Marlee at the front desk was very kind, gracious, and made my checkout process a breeze. The breakfast was very tasty (albeit a bit pricey) and it was nice to eat outside by the water. Overall a great stay and would love to return.

THE VALET IS OVERPRICED More than Manhattan. For me to rate exceptional, the hotel would have to be completely updated. The fire pit area could use some cleaning up and better service. I was there with a few friends and we had to fetch our own drinks and food. Management team was apologetic. Breakfast could last till 11:30

The stay was really nice, calm location but near all the areas to be. All the staff was super friendly, but who really stood out was the Valet Team. Especially Jack and Nick really always had a warm welcome ready when we came back from shopping, gave some amazing insider tips where to grab lunch or where to shop. These guys are incredible!

We had a marina view room and the view was gorgeous day and night. Rooms are kept clean and the staff could not be any nicer. We walked a lot in the marina basin and town and felt very safe. The pool and the bar are excellent. Definitely coming back.

Location of hotel was convenient for our plans and we appreciated the ability to walk to decent coffee. We enjoyed having a patio but it would have been better if we didn't have to deal with views and sounds of the hotel's delivery area and garbage collection site. The poolside vibes were decent, though we only had a snack by the pool and didn't use it at all.

Service was definitely very "mid" across the board - from the bar/restaurant to housekeeping it was just ok.Our room was comfortable and service-able but that's about all we can say. The shower in the room had terrible water pressure. And the layout was really strange - the closet was inside the bathroom, making it inconvenient and awkward to get ready/dressed. We also were given a terrible room that was across from housekeeping and overlooking the hotel's garbage collection site. In addition to navigating around housekeeping carts throughout our stay, we had to deal with views of garbage and the sounds of delivery vans and trucks coming and going noisily.

Beautiful pool area and the location on the Marina was delightful. The hotel lounge had a nice acoustic guitar/ singer and we enjoyed complimentary drink.

The hotel was in a convenient location; however, the room was dirty, shabby, and clearly in need of refurbishment. I was also unable to sleep properly because the television appeared to have a fault, causing it to emit a bright glow throughout the night. The most disappointing aspect of my stay was the closure of the swimming pool. One of the primary reasons I booked this hotel was because it advertised a pool, as I wanted somewhere to relax during a layover before continuing my journey to Hawaii. Upon arrival, I discovered that the pool had been closed and made unavailable to guests because it had been rented out for private filming. The pool was not closed due to unforeseen maintenance or a safety issue, but rather to accommodate a private tv filming arrangement. Paying guests should not be deprived of prominently advertised facilities for the hotel's commercial benefit without prior disclosure or appropriate compensation. Had I been informed of this before booking, I would have chosen alternative accommodation. The pool was a material factor in my decision to stay at this property, and its unavailability significantly reduced the value of the accommodation I received. What I found particularly unacceptable was the lack of any apology, advance notice, or compensation. Taking everything into account, I feel this stay represented poor value for money, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

This is a great hotel. I had an excellent experience. The room was very nice and then bed was comfortable. Every staff member I encountered was lovely and very helpful. I loved the view of the marina outside my room and they have a 12pm checkout which is so lovely and generous and made a world of difference for my stay. 10/10 will def come back again.

It was a great stay. The hotel had everything I needed. Lovely position on the water, saw a seal at breakfast. I loved being able to eat outside and had a room with a balcony.

The location was amazing, we had a Marina view from our room. The staff was amazing, nice and always willing to assist in whatever you may ask. If you’re staying in Los Angeles this is where you have to stay, the area is safe and just 10 minutes away from Venice Beach. Valet was quick to retrieve your car and very professional, I can say enough good things about this hotel but it was a superb stay and coming back again when I go out west!!!!

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are amazing from Nancy, Trevor and Chloe at the front desk to Leslie at the coffee bar to Reuben at the Salt bar. Great views from the room that are always clean and comfortable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Loved this hotel! What an amazing location on the marina within walking distance to some good restaurants, a great park, and what must be the nicest Trader Joe's there is. So glad we upgraded to a marina view. We were just above the lounge and although there was good entertainment outdoors it did not bother us much and we are generally very particular in requesting quiet rooms. The hotel should really post the excellent video they have running in the elevators which provides a great overview of the hotel and all the amenities. When I was researching where to stay in the area it was hard to find any good videos. It was beautifully produced and would have helped sell me on the resort and I am sure others considering a stay in the area. I chose to park at the public lot just down the street for $5 per day to avoid the high cost of valet parking at the hotel and found it very convenient. My only complaint and this is of no fault of the hotels is that during my stay there was hardly anyone at the pool which was beautiful and heated, but each day there would be a family or two with small kids in diapers in both the pool and the hot tub which made me want to avoid using both. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I loved that they texted me and invited me to let them know if there was anything they could do to make my stay better. I texted and asked for foam pillows fairly late at night and they delivered them instantly. Do not hesitate to book this hotel. It is gorgeous with a mid-century modern flair and is close to the airport and all the LA/South Bay beach communities, and you can get to everything using the PCH and avoid the freeways. Loved it!

Just in front of the water! Nice poop side with the warm swimming pool and pleasant jacuzzi which are open until 10PM. SALT restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Very quiet at night. I thought it would be a nicer area, with more amenities. We visited Kazu Nori close by for food which was great but everything else was a long walk or cycle or uber away

The five star rating is for the dining experience in the bar at the Salt Restaurant. A big shout out to EWELIN!!!!! She is an absolute gem. I was served by her on a few occasions while visiting. She is courteous, attentive and has outstanding customer service skills. You are really lucky to have such a wonderful employee. No matter how busy or not, Ewelin paid attention to every detail. I congratulate her for being so awesome!!!!

Quiet rooms with plush towels and robe. The bed and linens were comfortable. Everything was very clean. The SALT restaurant was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff.

Parking is $52 a night. The clerk at the front desk gave us a room on the first floor facing the parking lot and behind the cafe. We requested a different room from a different clerk and were put on the third floor.
