Our absolute go to in Fresno! Rooms are huge (stayed in all types), breakfast is great, landscaping is well kept and nice, grandkids LOVE basketball court, and location is super close to Fresno State, grocery store and food. Staff tops it off!!

It was just a stop on the way to Sequoia Park. Free parking. Nice Chinese food near the hotel. A huge plus was the hotel's laundry service, which allowed us to do our laundry during our short stay. Typical American breakfast, meaning pretty average quality. It was okay to grab something quickly, but nothing special.

The air conditioning and the refrigerator in the room were both extremely loud, which made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the carpets in the hotel corridors were very dirty and poorly maintained. Strange smell in the hotel.

⭐️☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, our experience at the Sonesta was extremely disappointing. The room was absolutely filthy and did not appear to have been properly cleaned or inspected before we checked in. There was hair left in the shower, visible stains on the bed sheets and pillowcases, and when we opened the pull-out sofa bed, the mattress was stained as well. Seeing stains on multiple sleeping surfaces was especially disturbing and made us question whether the bedding had even been changed between guests. After traveling, you expect to be able to check into your room, shower, and get comfortable—not inspect the bathroom and bedding to determine whether they’re clean enough to use. These weren’t minor cosmetic issues; they were basic cleanliness and sanitation concerns. For the amount guests pay to stay at a hotel, a clean room and clean bedding should be the bare minimum. Housekeeping and management seriously need to improve their room inspection process. No guest should be given a room in this condition. I would not recommend this property based on the condition of the room we received.

I liked the spacious room, hot tub was at great temperature and the pool was like warm.

The cleanliness was the issue. There was feces near the door handle on the inside of the restroom door in our room. The feces was dry like it had been there a while. We immediately notified the front desk. They gave us a different room. After switching rooms, the A/C went out the first night had to tell the front desk to fix it. The living room tv wasn’t working either, we had to tell the front desk to fix it. The main issue was the feces near the bathroom door handle. That left my wife and I little traumatized, we started checking everything to make sure it was clean. The cleaning staff definitely needs to pick up their cleaning skills.

The property is nowhere near a 3-star standard -I'd rate it closer to 1 star. It desperately needs renovation and feels scary and creepy, almost like staying in a haunted house. The property was not clean and had a very bad smell. I was uncomfortable touching things and even avoided using the bathroom. The walls are extremely thin, and you can hear other guests clearly, including snoring, making it nearly impossible to sleep. For what you get, it is severely overpriced. There are many much better options in the area. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this property.

The live check in didn’t work. The agent put us in a room that wasn’t clean. The person at the front desk was more helpful.

Clean, quiet area. Nice having a full size refrigerator and small stove available. Pet friendly. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good buffet breakfast.

From check in to check out everyone was kind and pleasant. Good Breakfast in the morning. Nothing to complain about with this property.

The hotel is big and in a central place, the room is excellent, and the staff is very cool. Especially the manager, he has been really kind and helpful, and talking to him has been enlightening and funny every time. The stay was very quiet and having a good and delicious breakfast is very nice. Waiting for waffle machine to be fixed for our next visit.

The pool was closed! One of the reasons I booked this property was so our 7yo could work out some energy in the pool and we could use the hot tub, but it was closed both days.

1. Water was shut off all day, one day (mislead twice about when would go back on). 2. Was there 8 nights, and never got room service (every 7 nights?); same as several other times staying there in last year. 3. Trash bin (near parking lot) frequently overflowed and on ground around it.

Facility worn and dirty exterior. Walkways need pressure washing. 1st floor window screens are in disrepair in many windows. Not enough handicapped stalls. Entry doors dirty. We've stayed at a few Sonestas and this fresno location needs some attention. Also loud, disrespectful children running about the Facility. One guest let their dog bark in the hallway while other guests sleeping.

Wir waren auf einen Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht hier. Gefallen hat uns, dass es ein Appartement war mit einem getrennten Schlafzimmer.

Die Schlafcouch war durchgelegen und gehört dringend ausgetauscht. Hierauf zu schlafen ist unzumutbar. Der Geschirrspüler lies sich nicht mehr schließen und war somit nicht nutzbar.

Anthony at the Front Desk was WONDERFUL. He and the other Staff members provided the best Customer Service that I have received in a long time. Anthony was friendly and helpful.

Checked in on a booked studio and was given a free upgrade to a 2/2 upon check-in... never looked at my folio upon check out but when i got my cc i saw i was charged for the upgrade.. reached out to motel and was ignored for a while. finally they responded and said i agreed to pay extra for the upgrade. What?? Never did as it was offered a a perk. So i have disputed this charge on my CC and I will never stay at a Sonesta property again. Sonesta, you can keep your damm points and throw my Platinum status in the garbage as its worthless!!! have a nice day pathetic motel chain.... will stay loyal to Marriott as never had any issues with them!

It is not a fancy hotel by far but it’s affordable, the staff are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well kept. The location is really convenient and close to shopping and theme parks.

the time of breakfast should not change on weekends ,should be also 6am to start the breakfast because thats when guests leave early to go to their business like hiking,visiting places,meeting friends etc. Also ,we travel a lot and stays in hotels and this is the first time a hotel that does not have housekeeping..how can that be?

Breakfast was not great, everything served on paper plates plastic cups and cutlery. And all went into the same bin, recycling did not seem to happen?

The only thing I didn't like was the check-in kiosk. I had some trouble with that during check-in when I should have just been helped at the front desk. Everything else was perfect

Such a lovely gem. There were also plenty of food options nearby. The location was safe and near several parks. We got upgraded somehow to an enormous suite, so I can't speak to the size of our original room, but it was wonderful. Everything was super charming and clean, & the staff took so much care with their gracious hospitality. I can't express enough how wonderful this hotel is. Stayed in a comparable hotel in Fresno, and it was a MUCH better value for the money & felt much more like a 4-star experience.

Oh my, what a breakfast bar. I've never seen so many different options this side or Brunch. Not only did they have the regular items like Cereals and Continental items but scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes but they also had all the trimmings to go with them. When was the last time you saw Chives, Cheese or Onion to go on your eggs. The size of the room was exceptional not only was there a TV in the living room but there was one also in the bedroom. a large shower and vanity. Full size fridge and a kitchenette. And the Pool was heated!!!

It was a bit out of the normal location for a hotel but it was quiet.
