It was lovely. It met or exceeded all expectations. The cookies are divine!
Clean and great location!
Couldn’t stay longer
Main staff at restaurant especially manager lady was amazing she helped me get my wife's breakfast in a timely manner exceeding all my customer service expectation.
Room service staff tried to come in my room 1 hour before checkout
The parking was the only thing that a had a small issue with. I thought it was expensive, for a unsecured lot.
Checked in on a day that there was a system outage, nation wide. The staff handled the situation great, even with some guests getting angry and irritated.
Numbed the main restaurant was closed for remodel and we weren’t notified (booked through booking.com)

Construction
I was not convient or cost efficient to not have parking and wifi included for the cost. But overall the room and amenities were wonderful. I appreciated the cleanliness and quiet the room provided during my trip.
Free WIFI and parking.
The staff was wonderful! They are honestly the only reason I gave it a decent rating. We had so many issues, but the front desk was helpful and the manager even called me and gave us a small credit.
The hotel itself was run down, very old, elevators barely operating, our sink was clogged and we had plumbers for 2 hours, the refrigerator didn't work, the pool was ok, the steak restaurant was closed only a tiny breakfast spot was open and the food was terrible. No room service available,my phone in the room didn't work. The housekeeper came but just made the bed, didn't supply toilet paper or towels. It was disappointing, considering the price we paid and the pictures online.
Sengene var veldig gode
Dårlig at det hotell i denne prisklassen ikke gir kaffe eller vann som en naturlig ting til gjestene . Veldig dyr parkering
I noted excellent customer service from front desk personnel. Gaiven was so professional in assisting guests. A very pleasant attitude and approach to serving customer needs. Impressed!
Bon petit dej
La salle de bain était sale avec des poils partout On prend une chambre pour 4 il y a 3 serviettes Prix très cher quand il y a des travaux et que tu as fait 5 h de route impossible de te reposer
Really comfortable beds and great location
A bit pricey not the motel , the restaurant
Great location
Toddler size toilet in a corner king
Very clean and grounds were beautiful
Spa was not working and we had hoped to use it
The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly and welcoming. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep. I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because the room itself didn’t quite meet the standards I expect from a Hilton property. It appears the hotel was recently renovated, but there were still a few broken fixtures and noticeable carpet stains. If this were a Best Western or Choice Privileges hotel, I would have gladly given it 5 stars. However, because it’s a Hilton, I naturally have higher expectations for the overall condition and quality of the room.
Staff was friendy & helpful. Room was super clean & getting a room was an easy setup.
location, easy parking
First time staying here. Much quieter location than most of my stays in Spokane, which I appreciated. Room 502 was quiet too, even though I’m near the elevator and it has an adjoining room: I didn’t hear the elevator or the neighbors at all. Spacious and clean. Lobby attendants were universally helpful. I’ll stay here again.
Good location, beds were comfy
Parking garage was around the corner from hotel entrance. Lobby was under construction while we were there, noisy and a lot of people/confusion in the lobby. Elevators were sketchy, control panel wall was loose/wobbly. Only 2 elevators available during construction. Breakfast buffet closed down 50 mins early…very frustrating. Rooms are dated/tired. Room service did not clean room or make beds after day 3.
The location is amazing. For me, being on the Centennial Trail and next door to the Convention Center was the best.
The staff was super helpful and accommodating, even able to meet a couple last-minute special requests. Loved the location and the cookies, as well!
At check-in I was confronted with an unexpected $50 deposit charge that I was told would be deducted after checking out. As someone on an extremely tight budget, I should have been told about this so I could plan for it. Other than that, my favorite hotel! Thanks again!
Great location, easy walk to park and restaurants
Room was not very clean. Table had not been wiped, dusty mirror, AC was loud.
Very comfortable
No fan for showers in the bathroom and the bathroom not private enough
nice room, clean, quite. wonderful place to walk around with the park being so close. We went to the Dead south Convention at the Gesa pavilion. Just a short walk to the concert from the hotel. They gave us a cookie for the Ride Home.
The location and bed was wonderful
When I arrived the hotel said there would be a $28 plus tax charge for parking my car. No free parking 😥 or a reasonable charge.
It was close to where I wanted to go
When getting out of the shower if feels like I'm going to fall out because of how high the tub sits
Excellent Staff
Run down facility Pictures don't match the actual Motel Distance to conference center to long Excellent service I only stayed one night I thought I was booking with the hotel not booking.com
Beautiful location on the river. I chose mountain view which was worth it. The building was under renovations, and they did the best they could. Staff was friendly, and the texting feature was good addition. Signage for the parking lot is obvious once I found it but tricky after leaving the check-in lot. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely.
Landscaping noise for hours while I was at the pool. Dirty, un kept, pool bathroom. Noisy wall HVAC unit.
Very nice staff. Great location. Very clean room. Steak house was fabulous.
Immaculately clean, with an “old school” arrival experience complete with the cookie and some water. Also handed a very nice personalized letter of welcome from one of their leaders recognizing me as a Lifetime Diamond. I would have to guess it’s been more than 20 years since I’ve actually stayed at this property. I’m on the quest for the new carrot that Hilton is dangling for the Diamond Reserve status, (even though I’ve been a lifetime Diamond for more than five years). Knowing the property has been around for some time, I was a little nervous to what I would find. The room felt up-to-date and contemporary. The bathroom was immaculate as well. Plumbing worked perfectly with great hot water, and strong shower pressure. After nearly 40 years, it’s very seldom that I’m actually afforded an upgrade anymore, but I was very lucky this time to be afforded a beautiful corner room which had sweeping views of downtown Spokane, and out to the Spokane Valley. I was actually born in Spokane, but moved to the Seattle in 1964, before settling in the Coachella Valley in 2016. Walking around the riverfront park, seeing the gondola at the Spokane Falls, reminded me of my teenage years exploring downtown while visiting grandparents in the summertime. OK, getting sentimental, back to the property. It does appear that there is some slight remodeling happening, but the coffee stand, breakfast area, and snack shop were well equipped, and staffed by a very friendly barista who made my drink in record time. There is a Spencer steakhouse, and while I didn’t have time to enjoy dinner, if it’s of the same caliber of the Hilton at SeaTac airport in Seattle, I’m sure it would be a treat. In the same parking lot as the Spokane convention center, 5 to 10 minute walk to the Spokane Falls observation point, and the gondola over the Falls, which unfortunately I didn’t do this time because of a 5 AM departure tomorrow morning from GEG. Stay here! You won’t regret it.
It was a decent hotel just not the cleanliness in my room but it was in a great location I can't I'll stay there again
So I get to my room a day late I have reservations for two nights and I show up the didn't offer any kind of discount which it's understandable cuz I screwed up not them the place was extremely expensive I thought cuz you have to pay $35 for parking the worst part about it was I couldn't figure out what the smell was so I'm laying there at midnight just trying to go to sleep but the smell just keeps bothering me so I had to get up look all over the room find out there's rotten meat in the fridge then the coffee thing is not been emptied pretty gross kind of upset about that so I go downstairs and I'm expecting them to give me a discount apologize big time because that's disgusting I mean I had to smell that rotten meat all day and now it's one in the morning I'm really tired the guy doesn't even believe me he has long hair he's a young kid it's just rude he says well you can wait for 30 minutes while the maintenance man gets back here and he'll change out the fridge for you I said I don't want to be woken up in 30 minutes you please need to fix this now give me a new room or something and so he's like okay I'll make you change rooms like five hours up so I have to move all my stuff don't get done till 2:30 in the morning and he doesn't even offer me anything besides of room change which you would expect but what he does is he has somebody come up because he doesn't believe me just to verify that it smells like rotten meat thanks for everything I would expect more from a Hilton hotel
Room was beautiful and comfortable. But we felt like we were nickle and dimed for everything...Parking not covered?! Really?! Won't stay there again.
Fees for everything. Even the internet was hard to sign on to.
Even with the remodel they were super nice and helpful they had at temporary front desk and were full of energy the Starbucks inside could use some more equipment and able to make more blended coffees but all in all it was a amazing place to stay and super comfy
Nothing honestly besides the Starbucks needing a blender to make blended coffees
I had a very pleasant day as usual. I’ve stayed at this hotel 1 to 2 times a year over the last 15 to 20 years. It’s a big hotel but the service is excellent. I was able to text with staff at the desk who answered all of my questions and needs. Sandy who works breakfast in the cafeteria is especially wonderful, she lightens up your whole day. The cookies are always great and they’re liberal with handing them out. I would say this is as good as any Doubletree property. I’ve stayed in and I’m an honors diamond member for the last 15 years.
Clean, great location downtown.
Street noise. Busy weekend though.

Really great location and nice parking garage. You can walk from here to the stadium and downtown, but it’s not the best part of town and it’s also quite far to some of the shopping areas.
Having to pay for parking was extremely expensive at $30 a car. I had two cars and felt like $60 extra just to park in an empty parking. Garage was outrageous.
Loved the location and the layout of the hotel and its rooms. The size was amazing too!
Everything is dated and close to falling apart. It smelt a touch musty. Like it was cleaned but there was a smell to it. The beds were some of the most uncomfortable we’ve had at a hotel. We were very disappointed for the price we paid the state of decline the rooms were in.
Extra cost for parking in garage
I always stay here when in Spokane. The location is perfect! I always feel welcome, the front desk staff is always friendly , professional and always willing to help if needed. Rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff is the best. Spencers is the only place to consider for a fantastic Steak Dinner and breakfast in the Cafe is the best as well. Great food, great service!!!!!!
The heater in my room went out, and the staff put me in a new room quickly. Great team they have working there.
Had to change rooms, but things happen. Impressed with how well it was handled!
The updated rooms are very bright and comfortable.
The water pressure could be better
I had a very challenging Amtrak delay and needed a room at 445 AM. The hotel desk agent was very friendly and Tupi care of me so I could get some rest before I had to return to my train. Awesome people and the bar/restaurant food AND staff were also amazing!
Location was fine. Was there for Hoopfest.
Very much dislike how much the prices were raised for Hoopfest which mostly consists of families. $400+ per night is ridiculous for a standard room. It’s sad hotels take advantage of people this way
The Cooler Sound Is Not Comfotable

I've stayed at this hotel a lot over the years and have always been pleased. The restaurant prices are really high but I'm still getting used to that. My spouse has mobility issues so the convenience was helpful. Parking garage is also a plus.
Better instructions as to where all the amenities are. A booklet in the room would help. Also a printed guide to the TV stations would be nice. Also a weather protected walkway to the nextdoor venue would really be nice.
The bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable.
I didn’t like how far of a walk it was to the parking garage.
View from the room was amazing.
The cost of having to pay to park on property.
The check in was easy and we were greeted with a warm cookie. Really cool area with a very long trail going along the river at the back of the property. Great place for a jog or long walk to check out the city.
The property advertising that electric car charging is available on site. The property has one charging station in a parking garage that holds hundreds of cars (several levels). You will most likely find the charger being used and won't free up for quite some time as it is a very slow charger. Would love to see the property invest in some high-speed charging stations.
Location to the River Park is fabulous! Great parking available - even with an event going on at the facility that shares parking
We prefer an indoor pool
Great staff. Everyone was very friendly.
Nothing
Great location, easy parking
Parking rate was not correct. Listed as 25 per night but 28 upon checking out. Also double charged but front desk was able to fix it promptly
The bathroom sink drains very very slowly.
I’ve stayed at this DoubleTree well over 100 times for work. The van drivers and front desk staff have always been friendly, professional, and helpful, which I truly appreciate. Unfortunately, the condition of the rooms continues to go downhill when it comes to cleanliness. After flying all day, I arrived to a room with two queen beds. The bed on the left had a visible stain on the comforter. There was also a large red stain near the closet area where clothes are hung, a dirty towel left on the shelf below, and a beverage left behind by the previous guest in the fridge. This is disappointing, especially given my long history with this property. I will be contacting my company’s accommodation board regarding this stay. I hope the housekeeping issues can be addressed and corrected, as this hotel has otherwise been a reliable choice over the years.
The reception staff was very helpful and greeted us with a smile.
I wish there was a light on when we first entered the room. It was pitch black, and couldn’t find the switch quickly to turn on the lights.
Location. Spencer’s steak house in hotel. Excellent meals at our conference. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Plenty of hot water in shower.
I thought the pillows were small and uncomfortable but other than that it was a nice stay
Only having one elevator working made having to wait longer for an elevator was a little frustrating
The staff is always so kind and helpful
Loved the breakfast & breakfast service and staff was amazing
We were there for the Be Bold for Jesus conference. We had booked last year and needed one more day and they accommodated us. They also gave us warm, yummy cookies. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurants there are very good also. I would recommend staying there. It is close to everything downtown Spokane.
Our experience was okay. Some staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and a couple of them, not so much. The room was okay except that the refrigerator wasn't cool enough. A person from the tech staff came to our room to fix it, but it didn't change after he left. Some things we had put in it had to be thrown away. The property is a nice property with convenient parking. There isn't much nearby in the way of restaurants. It also isn't the best area to be walking by yourself, especially at night. Would we stay there again? Probably. We've stayed there on each visit to Spokane for each of the past 3 years. Some visits are better than others.
Friendly and convenient location.
Nice property with good views from all rooms, well maintained & updated with Spencer’s Restaurant on site plus Starbucks and dining area. Friendly staff, dog friendly, comfy beds and GREAT location for walking.
My family and I had a never to be forgotten trip to Spokane recently. Doubletree played a huge part in making it the special time it was to us. The bright, restful rooms; delicious breakfasts; the efficient and kind front desk employees, all added up to a happy vacation. Thank you all for everything!
We loved being right by the river and the y-shaped design of the hotel building. Hotel staff took good care of us but parking was pricey!
Great place
The beds are the best part of this hotel. I have stayed here before, and the walls and floors are thin, so be ready to hear everything that is going on outside. Or if you have a very boisterous neighbor. The staff is great, I have yet to try the restaurants. The pool is outside but gated. Parking is simple next door at the convention center. Easy walkability to restaurants downtown via the sidewalk or riverwalk trail. River Park Square is in short walking distance (closes at 7pm) and is a fun upscale mall.
