Comfortable beds
Room service was very slow
Beds were wonderful.
Beautiful property, fabulous staff!
Can’t think of anything.
The check in was very quick and easy.
I can't say anything negative about my experience here
Beautiful and loved the valet parking and restaurant
Homeless around the property
Location was perfect. Only issue was road noise was very prominent.
Spell L-U-X-U-R-Y!! Big rooms to spread out. So well done with meticulous detail down to the doorbell ! Nothing left to chance . Everything well thought out from the 2 king size beds in one room to the desk, the lighting, the rainwater shower and the toiletries . Who puts L’Occitane products in a hotel bathroom? The Davenport Grand does😊
Nothing ! Nada !
Love the tower and original hotel. Was not clear that I had mistakenly booked the convention center location. Pay attention when booking and know there are 3
Stained dirty bed
Great location
Smoke alarm went off and there were no clear instructions provided by the staff. Only half of the hotel evacuated and the rest remained inside. As a tourist it was very unclear
Central to most things.
Clean rooms and polite staff
The bed was amazing! The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfy and extravagant.
Parking was a little inconvenient but thats about it beyond that its amazing stay
Location
The employees aren’t trained enough. Most of them don’t have a clue about what they’re doing. I’ve been overcharged on the parking lot for lack of information from their end plus I paid my stay through Booking and when I got the hotel they made me pay it again. Anyway its a mess.
The bar
The valet weren’t very accommodating the front desk gave us a room that was apparently occupied so I had to go get keys remade and put into a different room. There wasn’t even complimentary water or coffee for the guests. I guess $300 a night I shouldn’t expect much
We booked our room to watch the fireworks and enjoyed a wonderful view. The desk attendant was very helpful and pleasant. The desk was large, fixed and had two nice chairs.
The color of the red chairs. I found the mattress very soft and difficult to watch the TV from it.
Love this place.
Chambres très spacieuses et confortables.
Location
No complimentary coffee in lobby. No easy spot to grab snacks and drinks (the line at the coffee shop in the lobby was 45 minutes long!). I’ve machine room had dirty dishes on our floor.
In hotel reception staff, warm and welcoming.
General directions on how to get to the Hotel, where and how to park my vehicle and less than helpful attitude from the parking valet, Nice hotel but no direction or visible aids to where anything in the hotel was located. If I am going to pay this much for a room, then perhaps, you could at least let me listen to the TV music feed for free!
The location. It’s across the river and the parks. Walking distance to activities downtown.
Mattress was way too soft for my back. The hotel was very classy; I would have preferred for character.
The staff was friendly and helpful! Very comfortable bedding. Great location.
All of it. Location is perfect for an evening walk and some late-night bar hopping. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel. Showers are powerful, and bathroom amenities are plenty. The city view from where we were on the 11th floor were very pleasant. I've stayed here before, and will absolutely stay again. Top notch hotel.
The surprise charge for "resort fees" and parking. Not ideal, but understandable for this hotel.
Unfortunately, we experienced several issues that significantly impacted the quality of our stay at the Davenport Grand. Most concerning is the insect infestation. Flies are everywhere - in the rooms, in the hallways, by the elevators, throughout the hotel. Very visible in the attached photos and videos. The infestation is likely due to improper cleaning, as evidenced by stains and previous guests' hair on the bedsheets and pillows. Further, there was sticky residue on the hairdryer and other bathroom products. Also, the HVAC in our room was broken. - On day 1, the hotel did not have anyone available to assist with resolving the issue, so we slept in the frigid cold. - On day 2, they sent a space heater to our room (which should have done on day 1) and eventually sent up two engineers who confirmed that the heater's parts had worn out. Lastly, staff entered our room without permission. When we returned from lunch, the engineers were in our room - without prior notice and despite the 'Do Not Disturb' light being set. This was particularly concerning because I had left my passport and wallet on the desk at that time. While always courteous and kind, the hotel's Director of Operations would not compensate us for these issues. Instead, she was only able to offer a one-night certificate to return to the hotel - which is the last thing we would want given how stressful our stay was.
Very comfortable bed
It was next to impossible to get ordinary cable TV programing. It was obvious that the intent was to manipulate people into opting for programing that generated payments, This was not only annoying, but it also seemed deliberately deceptive. There were no materials in the room to sugggest local attractions or places to eat etc. I was surprised that there was no airport shuttle service which used to be standard in even mid range hotels.
Great room and view!

Location
The room was gross, dust on everything and the floors were filthy
Cleanliness
Not enough blankets provided
The room was quite spacious with a large shower, and an extremely comfortable bed. The room was extremely quiet. We had a late dinner at the bar after an event, and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious our meals were.
Absolutely nothing.
The room smelled of Weed upon walking in.
I liked the luxury feel of the whole space
The traffic to get into the area was terrible
Clean, spacious rooms and close to convention center
Nothing
Room service could not handle full occupancy orders. Very disappointed that we came back to our room late night after a full day of tournament games, relying on dinner ordered to our room, and the kitchen had been closed due to too many orders. For the price and caliber of the hotel, this was surprising and outrageous.
Great location. One of our favorite places to stay when we come to Spokane. The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. Plus great water pressure in the showers which is hard to find these days. The lobby always looks crowded but the 6 elevators make it so you’re never waiting.
I workout in the mornings and like to shower the city off before bed in the evening. I called for more towels but they never came.
Super nice room. Loved the robes. Bed was comfortable.
only had a few towels. When we requested more the ones they brought us were pretty ragged and frayed. Not a huge deal to me but also not something you'd expect to see in a $300 room.
Here is the email I sent six days ago and have not received a response.... Dear Team, I have spent 20 years working in the hospitality industry. In those two decades, I have learned to let a lot slide. I’ve rolled my eyes at dirty floors, choked down subpar meals, and overlooked incompetence because I understand that things happen. But my recent stay at The Davenport Grand has left me with a singular, undeniable conclusion: this is one of the nastiest hotels I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. Let me paint you a picture. The floor of my hallway looked as though someone had dumped gallons of milk and simply left it to fester. Room service trays littered the corridors for days. A broken coffee machine sat out abandoned, a monument to neglect. The men’s public restroom stalls were smeared with brown streaks—boogers? feces? I shouldn’t have to wonder. The parking garage garbage overflowed for days, untouched by anyone who might care. The employees, with the exception of the evening valet who greeted me upon arrival, were incompetent at every level. Upon checking in, I was informed that I needed to pay additional money to secure my room, despite it being prepaid by my employer as part of a conference. After some back-and-forth with the desk clerk and the pm supervisor, I authorized a $50 charge on my personal card to move things along, with the understanding that my employer would send the required documentation the next morning. They did. But the issues didn’t stop there. I was served a cold lump of oatmeal with a rock of brown sugar and dried-out fruit at the restaurant. I choked it down and paid the $20 tab. For dinner, I watched bartenders touch the beer tap to my glass. I ate fried chicken tenders and fries cooked in oil long overdue for a change. Also, through the week I nibbled stale pastries, limp fruit, and cold bacon from the breakfast buffet. I didn’t say a word. I don’t work for you. I was out of hand soap and shower wash in my room, I didn’t ask for a refill. I just rolled my eyes and moved on. The real debacle began at checkout. The desk clerk did a dismal job explaining my charges, so I took a receipt to review later. That’s when I noticed my personal card had been charged for various amenities beyond the authorized $50. I returned to the desk and asked for a supervisor. Jessica attempted to explain, citing unresolved documentation issues from my employer. She assured me she’d handle it, and I went to my conference sessions. She left me a voicemail saying it was resolved, so I stopped by the front desk to get an updated receipt and confirm the refund. Here’s where it gets personal. I probably make less money than your desk agents. I am not one of your preferred demographic customers. That $91+ wasn’t pocket change—it was my gas money to get home, 10 hours away. The desk agent gave me the standard “up to five business days, depending on your bank” drivel. I told him it was unacceptable and asked for Jessica. She was in a meeting and wouldn’t be back for an hour. I asked for another supervisor. None were available. Eventually, a short, gray-haired woman "from the executive team" emerged from the back— I don't mean any disrespect but she didn’t bother to introduce herself. She threw the new night auditor under the bus, claiming he shouldn’t have charged me (also that the card was charged PRIOR to checkout). She suggested accounting might do something or offer compensation, but only Jessica could handle that. I called and left a message for Jessica. I left another for the front desk agent to ask Jessica to call me. I followed up again, and again throughout the day. Jessica was in a lot of hour-long meetings that day. I still haven’t received a call back. I am a Bonvoy member. Was I treated as a guest? No. I was one of the cattle herded through your hotel while you squeezed my teat for cash. We have reached the straw that broke the camel’s back. I don’t expect much from your response—I’ve seen how you operate. But I wanted you to know exactly how thoroughly you failed me. I will also be sharing my experience on the various review sites.
Good location Good food
Not very clean.Room service never came to change out towels and make beds up.toilet paper holder was broken.
The property was really nice, the bed and furniture was great the room was layout well and overall was exactly what I wanted.
The bath tub had wax drops dried around the edges and there was hair in multiple places in the tub which I had to clean myself. Also the trash had no liners in it
Everything
The penthouse was perfect.
There are fees for WiFi usage
Mold. Leaky window. Clouded view because of moisture inside the window. Stayed in the penthouse suite but was nowhere near a high end experience
Like hotels
Great location
Everything is goog
I liked the details that the hotel included in the decor.
Nothing negative on this trip in my opinion!
Couldn't connect my device to the in room tv, cards were not programmed correctly and didn't work, ice machine was out of service, no answer at the front desk after several attempts and I charged my account for parking I didn't use.
Downtown close to comedy club
Nice atmosphere
Staff was not very professional, overpriced
The bed and sheets are beyond comfy. I usually stay on the upper floors to avoid hearing loud traffic.
I don't like having to pay for parking...but it is what it is.
It was clean and checkin was smooth.
They charged USD 30 for overnight parking ..another USD 30 because my kid watched some movie on the TV for an hour … which was pathetic… what was the use of that TV in that room
This is a very glamorous hotel right next to a lot of Spokane's major attractions. We stayed one night passing through. It was a little more expensive but we didn't have a lot of options as we booked late. Everything was clean and we even had a view of the town. Staff were very friendly!
The pillows were too flat for my preference.
Dinner was excellent
Coffee shop did not open
Room was clean and comfortable The room's location was perfect for me. The staff were excellent (all round) The fact that you helped me honor my late son's birthday with some cake at no cost...(which was delicious).....I am eternally grateful....forever grateful.
There was no shower gel, thank God I had some ;-) May be have some mini toothpaste somewhere in the room ;-)
Love the facility and location.
Was disappointed that Table 13 was closed. Also, we didn't have housekeeping come after the first night but when she knocked on our door the 2nd morning, I asked her to give us 20 minutes to get out. She said ok. I also stopped at the front desk when we were leaving for the day and requested the service. She never came. We had to ask the front desk for towels, coffee, coffee cups, tissue, etc. They were accommodating and also credited us $25 but that situation was disappointing.
The staff was friendly and helpful
The parking was said to be 7$ when I asked for the cost. bill was 35 they parked 1 time in underground on property. Breakfast buffet was 23$???? More expensive than anything on the restaurant menu. I booked a suit, they put me in the wheel chair accessible one. Not the most romantic. The mirror at the bed had body prints on it when we arrived.
front staff very helpful at check-in. property very clean

What you didn’t tell me was that there are 4 different properties here and my room was not at the historic Davenport but at the Grand
Location
Dusty room on the wood by ceiling.. lots of cobwebs. At checkin- I had to ask about a few things like the parking garage and $10 for food credit. I only knew because I heard the girl next to us going into great detail about parking garage details and food credit at the property.
The breakfast was good
No one collected our leftover breakfast tray for 24 hours! The parking garage was and additional. 28.00 PER NIGHT! What a scam!!! Street parking is just as expensive! They should have just listed the room Price to include the expensive parking!!! Which the night crew forgot to give me the ticket to use is to get in n out the next day so it all went on my credit card…in addition to what I was charged!
