This property is amazing. The room is so clean and the staff are so friendly and accomodating. Fabio was great! He really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The location is central too.

We stayed as a family with two children and were very impressed with the accommodation. Friendly and attentive staff, lovely clean rooms with daily cleaning service. Nice location with good selection of local restaurants serving good food at reasonable prices vs centre, great with children also. Had breakfast at hotel which was value for money and good selection. The location was excellent. An 8 to 10 min walk from Roma Termini. Lots of coffee shops and some restaurants close by.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby transportation and shops. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Rome.

Todella hyvä sijanti. Kävelee nopeasti moneen paikkaan ja Terminin asema vieressä. Hotelli oli siisti ja viihtyisä. Huoneemme oli kompaktin kokoinen mutta sopiva meille ja erittäin siisti. Kylpyhuone ja wc vaikuttivat hiljattain remontoiduilta.

Huoneemme oli kadulle päin, ja yöllä kadulta kuului yllättävän paljon meteliä sisälle. Puolisoni nukkui korvatulpilla, joten häntä asia ei häirinnyt. Suihkussa oli jotakin vikaa, käsisuihku ei toiminut lainkaan ja joko suihkun oven tiivisteissä oli vikaa tms mutta vesi tulvi suihkuseinämän ohi, koko kylpyhuoneen lattia oli aivan märkä lyhyenkin suihkuhetken jälkeen. Asia kuitenkin huomattiin myös henkilökunnan puolesta ja uskon että asiaa korjattiin.

The location / room were perfect for this visit. As I was travelling solo the room was ideal.

Ali at the hotel was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us. Each night we had a drink on the terrace and he came out with snacks etc. every time. Always there with a smile. Room was smaller than expected, but clean and comfortable. Slightly out of the way, but we soon got our bearings and getting about was easy from the hotel, close to train station.

English tea bags and milk, take your own bags if you like your cuppa in the mornings. Alpi did supply milk when we asked, but a bit odd, very creamy. Delivered by Ali, I’m sure he works 24/7!!

The room was nice and clean on the 5th floor, and the bed was very comfortable. The coffee machine was a nice plus. We loved the balcony. The AC was quiet and worked well, which was important in the August heat. The hotel is appr 5 min walk from Termini Station and some museums. The staff was really helpful and nice.

There were some loose parts of the hardwood floor, they need some fixing.

The room was cleaned everyday very well on time. We had to go back to hotel in the afternoon to stay away from the August heat, so we really appreciated the clean room when we return.

The bathroom was spacious and clean, however, the shower door isn't well sealed, so every time when we shower, no matter how careful we are, there were always a big puddle of water leaked to the main bathroom floor, that we had to soak it up with towel to avoid leaking the water to the unit downstairs.

Friendly staff, accommodations made for our early check in and the room was perfect. Nice and clean, comfy bed. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and came with useful toiletries. Easily accessible to popular moments and sight seeing areas. We walked everywhere and easily managed even in the humidity of August summer!!

The only thing we didn't like but wasn't any fault of the hotel was using a sheet as a "quilt" which is what we are used to. Didn't spoil our trip but the air con did get cold so it was chilly.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Alpi. The breakfast was very good, with a varied selection and choices. The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around Rome. The staff were also extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. A very pleasant experience overall!

The Good:The reception staff was polite and welcoming.The Sri Lankan housekeeping gentleman was friendly and helpful.The Bad:The Room: Tiny like a matchbox. We literally had to climb over the bed just to get from one side of the room to the other.Zero Storage: There was no desk for a laptop and only one dirty chair. The bathroom had no vanity or counter space. We had to live out of our suitcases and carry our toiletries back and forth every single time.The Noise: Unbearable. It felt like sleeping in the middle of the road. Pedestrians were walking just a foot away from our room, screaming throughout the night.Housekeeping: Except for the one gentleman mentioned above, the female cleaning staff was incredibly rude, impolite, and left the room feeling dirty.Final Verdict:We booked this from Australia based on the excellent online ratings, but the reality was the exact opposite. This is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but it does not even meet 2-star standards. It is a noisy, cramped dump. The location provides easy access to and from the Roma Termini train and metro stations as well as multiple nearby bus routes. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well during very high outdoor temperatures. The staff was extremely friendly and provided great recommendations of local restaurants and landmarks. The hotel was happy to hold our luggage following check-out and our bags were kept safe while we were out.

Not all rooms have windows. Rooms were not loud but people from neighboring rooms could be heard moving around and talking.

Room was a bit noisy right beside the road - but it was on Friday and Saturday night.

We had a great 4 night stay at Hotel Alpi as a family of 4. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were comfortable (best shower ever!!), the breakfast was good (plenty for my daughter who has a peanut allergy...cereal, yoghurt, fruit, meats)) and there is a cute terrace bar if you fancy a beer before bed! Great location, so close to the main rome train station and near the metro to get to the Vatican and to the coleseum. Would definitely go back!!

The breakfast was wonderful and Ali was the most amazing host on the Terrance. We looked forward to seeing him nightly. He is attentive, kind, generous and really made our stay special.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Man kommt überall schnell hin, zum Bahnhof sind es ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß und vor der Tür ist eine Bushaltestelle. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Hotel verfügt zudem über eine Dachterasse, wo man sich vor allem Abends gut aufhalten kann. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Zuletzt ist das Frühstück hervorzuheben, was sehr reichhaltig ist und und bei welchem jeder fündig wird. Es lohnt sich, dieses dazuzubuchen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Overall, it was a good stay. We were able to walk everywhere, and the hotel is very close to the train station. There are also many restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel was clean as well.

Overall, it was an average hotel, but it was cleaner than many European hotels. The only downside was that the bathroom was very small. There was an elevator, which was convenient. In general, we did not have any negative experience.

We stayed at Hotel Alpi for 4 nights in June 2026 and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location was excellent, being close to transport links, plenty of restaurants and cafés, and within walking distance of many of Rome’s main tourist attractions. We’d particularly recommend Florian’s Cafe nearby for dinner! The hotel was spotlessly clean, and our room was very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot Italian summer. Although Rome can be loud outside, the windows offered quiet in the hotel room and it was very peaceful. One of the highlights was the beautiful terrace, which was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. You can also get drinks here, or take your own up. It was a lovely spot to read and chill, with a relaxed and romantic vibe. Overall, we would highly recommend Hotel Alpi. It feels like a hidden gem, offering great value for money in a fantastic location for exploring Rome!

Excellent location. Our room had light, was clean and modern and had all the facilities we required. We had a street view which was wonderful. Plenty of natural daylight. The staff were professional, polite and helpful. The terrace was a wonderful space to chill, have a drink and read.
