Mai House Saigon Hotel

What a beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Have to say for the value for money was excellent. The staff both in the restaurant and the bar were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Really felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. Also while not run by the hotel but located in it, the Mediterranean restaurant was incredible for both food and the service. The pool was perfect, the gym just enough and the roof top bar/restaurant was so good, the views over the city were amazing.

I think this is a first, because I'm struggling to think of anything that we didn't like. It was really that good!

Hotel is lovely, gorgeous reception with welcoming staff. Pianist in the lobby where you can have a drink. The rooftop bar is great, lovely cocktails and sunset view. Comfy beds make a very relaxing sleep.

Beautiful decor, friendly staff and very quiet. Although a little far from the main shopping and eating areas of Ho Chi Minh, it was still convenient enough for walking. The night manager, Kendal, was exceptional with his service and helpfulness during our stay.

My family is from Canada, and we’ve been travelling in Vietnam for a month. Mai Hotel has been one of the best hotels we have ever been to! Out of the many resorts we’ve been to and the infamous New World Hotel, Mai Hotel is on the top of the list. They beat all the other establishments by milestones! Their breakfast buffet is impeccable, and their service is phenomenal! Everyday, Mr. Phong greets us and asks us what we would like to drink. The waiters are so attentive with our table as well, always checking up on us. Recently, we had a bad experience with a resort, where we faced un-professional and poor service. Our mood was ruined for those first few days. However, after going to Mai Hotel, our moods were instantly lifted. They made us feel heard, valued, and respected. I feel sad to leave such an amazing place! They are honestly the best I’ve ever been to. I will stand by my claim and advocate for them. That is why I definitely recommend Mai Hotel. If you value good service, beautiful infrastructure and interior, amazing buffets, and a luxurious feel, this is the place that will deliver that five star experience! The experience was excellent! The breakfast buffet had everything imaginable including foods for both Eastern tastes as well as European and American breakfast. Mr. Phòng made sure that our every wish was attended. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The buffet at the C’est La Vie is not to be missed or overlooked - while most skip the hotel breakfast, our family decided to come back twice for the food and exceptional staff. The food variety and quality was really impressive. The second day was quite different from the first, so we were excited to eat both days. Western, Vietnamese and “international” all make an appearance a the buffet, so everyone will have something they love to eat. I particularly loved the Vietnamese rotating hot dishes and the baked veggie dishes. The service is extremely warm and fast - we never had to call staff as they were very attentive and always came by our table, even during busy hours. We’d like to especially thank our server, Mr. Phong and the wonderful front end women who greeted us on arrival. Atmosphere and ambience is also not to be overlooked - refined, elegant, soft lighting with calming jazz music to tie it all together to start your busy day in Saigon with some calm. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet at Mai House Saigon.

Fantastic! We love this place and very nice, very clean. Server are very friendly and wonderful service. Foods are delicious also good quality. Definitely we will be back for the next trip.

Mr Phong and Ms Y were extraordinarily helpful and responsive. The restaurant doesn’t serve much in the way of vegan offerings, and no hot vegan food at all — it’s a veritable vegan desert! — but Mr Phong made it possible for us to have a vegan pho, which we both enjoyed. Were it not for him, we would likely not eat at the restaurant at all.

Swimming pool area was small , not much to do as activities on the premises . The desk personnel was not much interested in arranging my surprise as I wanted to surprise my cousin who was staying at the same hotel , she came from UK and I came from Canada to give her a surprise on her birthday . I arrived at the hotel after 24h travelling late night around 1am and was not able to get up before 10 am for the breakfast . I managed to go to have breakfast at 10h 30 and the person told me it is close for breakfast, I had to insist to just have a coffee and a croissant, It was asking to much , I had to explain my journey to finally get a cup of coffee and a croissant , first the person just brought pastry only , I asked for a toasted bread and I received a brown bread not toasted, cold. I found the staff too concentrated on their tasks , they did not understand my needs.

Amazing hotel. Loved the staff. By and Van at the downstairs bar were delightful. They looked after us very well and were very funny. The room and food were excellent. I highly recommend staying here.

The moment we stepped into the hotel, we were struck by its elegance. The staff greeted us with smiles, and the lobby manager was exceptionally warm—offering great recommendations for local food and even carrying our luggage to the room. The guestroom itself exuded a charming French romantic style. Daily housekeeping was impeccable.

The only slight downside was that the pool was a bit small, though it still had character.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The staff were warm, professional and always helpful. We loved the breakfast, Executive Club Lounge, location and overall atmosphere. Our room was spacious and relaxing, and the service throughout our 7-night stay was excellent.

I cannot fault this property

This hotel is incredible. Their service and hospitality is great and definitely a bang for your buck! Mr Phong and all the wait staff in the buffet are so lovely and very accommodating. They make sure you have everything you need and that unused dishes are removed promptly. The rooms are immaculate and cleaned everyday, perfect for couples or families. You have everything you need here for a beautiful stay in Vietnam.

2 weeks in Vietnam and a final stay at Mai House Saigon. Talk about save the best for last. Breakfast buffet was very extensive and some bloody delicious Vietnamese dishes. Beef Stew was a highlight and couldn’t stop eating it. Staff were fantastic especially Mr Phong and Ms Y. No sooner had we finished they had the table spotless ready for the next plate. Treated the kids kindly and with respect and the kids really felt at easy here. Hotel in general was awesome. Very luxe. Great location with easy walking distance to many great restaurants and attractions. Put this place on your list

Stunning property, fabulous rooms

Staff aren’t as willing to look after you like we found in the rest of Vietnam. It felt like they were always upselling and even when we had issues they were dealt with efficiently or politely.

Excellent hotel. Very nice and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive to every need. The breakfast always provided a vast array of options and was very good. Mr. Phang was very kind all throughout breakfast and ensured we had everything we needed.

Beautiful hotel, very well maintained, with spacious and spotless rooms. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were consistently prompt, diligent, well-trained, and genuinely service-oriented.

If I had to mention anything to improve, it would be the room temperature and ventilation. The air conditioning couldn’t be set to a lower temperature, so the room sometimes felt a little warm during the night. It also felt slightly humid at times, so better ventilation would be a nice improvement.

The hotel is very nice and new. Always get a welcome when we come in and leave. The room is very spacious and clean. At buffet breakfast Mr.Phong has been great, he is always checking to see if we need anything. We definitely want to stay here again.

The breakfast buffet has so much variety and is full of delicious food. The staff are exceptional - they always warmly greet you and are happy to help with your requests. We hadden ons verslapen en waren veel te laat voor het ontbijt. Er werd alsnog een ontbijt voor ons geregeld. De volgende ochtend wist de mevrouw bij het ontbijt wie we waren en welke koffie we drinken. Dat is service!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mai House Saigon Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt polished, welcoming and beautifully thought out. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful interiors, comfortable rooms and fantastic facilities. The whole property has a really elegant feel while still being warm and welcoming. The location is fantastic for exploring Ho Chi Minh City, with all of the main central attractions within easy reach. It was the perfect base for exploring the city, while still giving us a peaceful and comfortable place to come back to afterwards. The staff were excellent throughout our stay -friendly, attentive and always happy to help. We also really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the hotel, which made the whole experience feel special. A gorgeous hotel, brilliant location and fantastic service. Five stars without hesitation - we would absolutely stay here again!

Came with my partner for a body scrub to try them out before booking more and we were not disappointed! Booked another two packages immediately after. The rooms were beautiful, looked and smelled beautiful. The showers were immaculate and the service was even better! No couples room, but still a great experience!

Hotel is amazing, great location. Restaurant is very good, with friendly and accommodating staff, manger Mr Phong was also very helpful as family are vegetarians.

We’ve dined 3 teams at c’est la vie for dinner and each time the food was first class along with the service. We also ate breakfast there. The choices are endlessly and delicious. Mr. Phong and Ms Y provided professional and friendly service.

This is a true five star hotel - beautiful. We stayed at the Four Seasons in Singapore at the end of the trip and this was as good as that! Not in district one but next to it and this was not an issue as Grab is so cheap - a couple of pounds to get to the sites/shops/restaurants. Don’t hesitate book it - we had a club room.

Mai house Saigon is an absolute oasis. This is was first accommodation in Vietnam and it was great to have staff with great knowledge, help and English. From setting my phone up for me, accomodating dietary requirements (made gluten free sushi) and an overall delightful stay. The service is a true testament to Mr Phong and Ms Y, the breakfast was unreal. Can’t wait to go back. Great location especially if you don’t want to be in the thick of district 1 but close enough to everything

If you are on the fence of how to choose a perfect place to stay, you should look at this Luxury hotel. It offers everything you are looking for and more. Let's start at the restaurant and the breakfast buffer.... it is fabulous and offers different types of cuisine , traditional Vietnamese foods, American , Korean and Japanese. we were overwhelmed with the options and to top it all off , the service is phenomenal. Mr Phong and Ms Hao were above and beyond to make our experience so special. Thank you Anh Phong and Co Hao. You two are awesome. in addion, the room is so spacious and modern, the roof top bar is gorgeous and the pool is very relaxing. You won't regret staying here.

They provided us with a free mini bar which was restocked daily. They always gave us a lovely warm welcome. Helped transport our bags up to our room. The pool and gym were great - they gave us complementary towels at the pool. It's slightly outside of the busy part of town, so we had a peaceful night's sleep.

On the first night we noticed that the hot water was not coming through. We reported this to reception in the morning and they had it fixed for us the same day.

The Mai House Saigon Hotel would have to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in throughout Asia. From the staff, the room, the facilities including the buffet breakfast, absolutely fantastic and we would have to score 11 out of 10 it was that good. Certainly exceptional value for money. Keep up the great work Mai House team.

The staff are very kind, professional, and friendly. There are a lot of food options for everyone. I stayed for a more than a week, and everyone knows my routine and favorites. And Mr. Phong is the best. Thank you for such a pleasant experience every year!

Everything was perfect

Real 5 star hotel with all the little luxuries you expect from such a hotel. The staff make it really special, very professional and real people who genuinely love doing their jobs. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced - huge selection from cuisines around the world. Can eat very healthy and still be very satisfied. We got the executive lounge access too. Well worth the money. The canopies were a nice example of creative genius.

It took us the week to work out how to operate the fancy lighting system in the rooms. The design is a little too fancy in my option but didn’t take more than a few seconds of clicking each switch until you got the desired configuration. There was no milk / powder to enjoy a tea in the room. I’m sure a quick call to room service would have provided some free of charge but given all the special touches I was surprised this was not included in the tea / coffee selection. Spa was luxurious with amazing showers however massage was mediocre I’m sorry to say. Paying 2 to 3 times what you’d pay down the street I would expected a lot more. None of the above would stop me booking this hotel again. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Ho Chi Mingh after experiencing this place. I spent quite a time trying to find the right hotel. If you’re doing the same I can assure you you’ll be happy with this one.
