Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Good location, very clean rooms.
When you “pay extra” for parking you expect it to be onsite with CCTV, This wasn’t the case, park was across the road, no security. Our washing machine didn’t work, had a fault, but staff were very happy to take washing & use staff washing machine, for us.

Only thing I didn't like was the fan wasnt working in our bathroom or it didn't turn on? And the fan in the kitchen went nowhere so if we were to cook and have a bit of smoke come from the pan or something it could easily set off the sprinklers

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026The location was great, staff very accommodating, studio room had everything we needed, even had a nice water view. Appreciated being able to cook our own food. Daily housekeeping was also helpful. Having our own washing machine and dryer completed the terrific amenities.
Was not impressed with the tropical cyclone. Had to stay inside the day it swept through but our hire car was under cover during this so we felt safe. Would recommend using the hotel's under cover car park during bad weather.

The view was terrible. It was a window facing a wall and there was a piece of the next doors building's roof flapping about due to the wind at the time. I'm sure I booked a room with a view. The other disappointment was the location I thought Tauranga was where Mount Maunganui was. Completely my fault. Overall, the room was good.
