Pool and restaurants were awesome

I went to beach to go snorkeling and when I went to the hire shop was told I had to go back to main building to pay then come back. This was VERY frustrating and I didn’t do it.

They have facilities for kids

It was not clean unlike I expected

I was genuinely impressed by the level of hospitality at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort. From the General Management to every member of the team, there is a clear culture of listening to guests, understanding their needs, and making them feel genuinely valued. The entire operation is exceptionally well organized, and this professionalism can be felt throughout the resort. From the warm welcome and accommodation to the restaurants, quality of the food, and especially the breakfast, every detail reflects care and professionalism. Most importantly, the staff are welcoming, courteous, attentive, and professional. Maintaining such consistent service standards across a resort of this scale is a clear reflection of strong leadership and a well-trained team. I would confidently recommend this hotel to travelers coming to Cebu from Turkey, Europe, or anywhere else in the world. This is not simply a beautiful resort to stay at; it is a place where you can experience genuine hospitality at an international standard. Die Lage des Hotels war toll und das Personal war sehr freu dlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und würde dringend eine umfassende Renovierung sowie verschiedene Reparaturen benötigen. Leider waren wir von unserem Aufenthalt sehr enttäuscht. Zudem liess die Sauberkeit in vielen Bereichen zu wünschen übrig. Auch das Angebot in den Hotelrestaurants konnte uns nicht überzeugen. Die Preise waren ausgesprochen hoch, während die Qualität der Speisen enttäuschend war. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrungen haben wir uns bereits kurz nach unserer Ankunft entschieden, das Hotel wieder zu verlassen und uns eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen.

Absolutely beautiful resort, so much to see and do!!!

Well being from Canada, I would have absolutely loved to have air conditioning in the lobby, however I understand it is built to be an open air lobby. It is a gorgeous place, pure luxury!

Room is a good size and spotlessly clean, great view and nice balcony, bed comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Great choice for everyone Staff always helpful with a smile everywhere in the resort

Selection of food was the same in two of the eating places Day trippers allowed in to use all facilities, causes seating issues for residents at breakfast time Day trippers lying around the floor at bar area, perhaps it’s my misunderstanding of the culture

Just the view of the ocean

The bathroom faucet is hard to open due to acid deposits. The staff is so lame, when you ask for something, they don’t act right away, you have to repeat again what you need. So exhausting!!! The staff are not competent to run the hotel. Waiters are the only better staff I can think of.

It’s ocean front, not in a busy area, clean facilities, lobby is open and welcoming as well as the staff. We loved the infinity pool. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet had a wide variety that didn’t disappoint. We stayed in an ocean front view room and we enjoyed it very much.

The property is away and is in a quiet location. But! that is also a negative for some people, that it is away and it takes some time to get to the hotel with the local traffic.

Breakfast was good if you didn't go at peek time. The pool was great. It was quite difficult to get down to the beach.

The hotel was mostly shut down for the ASEAN Summit. Only one place was open for other guest to eat which was a cut down menu, which if you have to eat from for lunch and dinner for 7 days was very unsatisfactory. There were soldiers, bomb squad, navy patrols, police and dogs every where. We were confined to the hotel for 90% of our stay. We were only informed of the summit a couple of days prior to departure. If we had known earlier we could have changed our dates. It's highly unlike that the summit was planned last minute, we could have been informed much earlier.

The ASEAN convention was happening the same time as we were in the hotel but the staff was very helpful and accommodating despite the event disruption The beach is not great but the infinity pool makes up for it.

The staff were very friendly, the room is clean and housekeeping was excellent, and the food was all delicious.

The room was spacious and overall good quality. The walking distances to restaurants and pool did not disturb me, even though they are unusually long. The staff was very professional and friendly and the breakfast was generous.

It's a money machine. The basic room rate was normal in the market here, however costs for any additional service (e.g. laundry), drinks, food etc. are excessive. One shot of Whiskey costs more than in a good bar in Geneva. That's probably why restaurants and bars are empty, dead.

El hotel es hermoso, la zona de la piscina y la playa están muy bien. El gym esta muy bien equipado. El personal es muy amable.

Pocas opciones de comida, siempre esta el mismo restaurante abierto y el servicio es lento. Habiendo habitaciones vacías, porque el hotel estaba vacío, y siendo un hotel de 5 estrellas no me parece bien que te pongan en una habitación conectada con otra habitación por una puerta. Se escuchaba todo

The pool is huge ! , gets nicely warm like a bath by sunset too . There is a smaller pool that gets more shade and has a nice waterfall feature .

The price of things in the mini bar and drinks at the main bar are astronomical!!

We lived our trip for so many reasons. Despite having an initial issue at check in, it was resolved the same day which was great. The resort is lovely, excellent options at breakfast, impromptu activities and entertainment and excellent service. We ate at the buffet, the Thai restaurant and Sunset Bar and the food was amazing and the service was some of the best I’ve experienced anywhere. The staff are friendly, well trained and attentive. The room was spacious and very comfortable indeed. My daughters and I had a wonderful t time.

The only thing I didn’t like was that it’s a pet friendly hotel and some dog owners are more considerate than others, which is no reflection on the hotel itself. I hope there’s some type of expectation particularly as one dog was very vocal around the pool, in the lobby and around the hotel.
