The hotel felt high-end. Staff is great. Very clean. Position is also quite good.

Rooms are noisy. In the morning you can't really sleep long.

The location is good. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. If you enjoy shopping the hotel is adjacent to an indoor complex. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great buffet breakfast.

Ive stayed here 3 times. This trip, the Hotel looks tired. It's showing its age. Carpets need replacing, especially elevators. Depending on the day, towels can be very thin. Time to check them and get new. Shower was ok however the control of the wond and shower was broke. Easy fix that has been ignored. Advertising plastered over the first floor elevstor doors looks tacky and cheapens the Brand.

Great location. 15 minutes away from Union Station. Spacious room, though a little bit noisy.

Requested a quiet room and they put us on a 4th floor by the elevator. You have to pay for the wifi (yes!!, in 2026).

In our opinion, the room was not really suitable for three people. The bed intended for two people was relatively narrow, which made sleeping rather uncomfortable. The room amenities could also have been better: coffee and tea were replenished only very sparingly, and the towels were rather small and not sufficient in number, especially for people with long hair. What we remember most negatively, however, was an incident late in the evening. Due to an ongoing change from an old credit card to a new one, the card on file apparently did not work. When we returned to the hotel that evening, all three of our room keys had been deactivated. What followed was very unpleasant and humiliating for us. We had to go back and forth between the room and the front desk several times. First, we were asked to provide identification, but even after that, we were still not given normal access to the room. Eventually, a security staff member was sent with us to let us into the room. After that, I had to return to the front desk once again. In total, it took more than half an hour before we were finally able to regain normal access to our room. We understand that a hotel may need to take security measures when there is an issue with payment. However, the way this situation was handled felt neither customer-friendly nor appropriate. Especially late at night, we would have expected a more professional, discreet, and efficient solution from a hotel of this category. Overall, the stay unfortunately did not meet the standard we associate with Marriott or what we would expect from a hotel in this price range.

Had to request the complimentary water, bedding sucked. No duvet blanket, just sheets, they cheapened out on the bathroom essentials. Very uncomfortable and ugly, towels looked quite old. Room also didnt feel super clean. For the price, expected much much better. This is a 3 star hotel not a 4 star.

Friendly and caring staff.

The telly in the room couldn’t connect to Netflix despite several attempts. Bathroom had a tiny bar of soap and a tiny hand lotion bottle. Expect better from a five star hotel. There were only two towels for three people and only one duvet for two beds.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Super Betten, extrem freundliches Personal, leckeres Frühstück. Gerade nach dem langen Flug waren wir sehr froh, hier gut zu schlafen zu können und uns zu erholen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

The cupboard space would have been better utilised with an extra shelf - especially for longer term visitors. We also missed an additional mirror in the bathroom.

Mai scria si ca ți le dau gratis,când de fapt clientul le-a plătit si nu trebuie sa se roage sa le primeasca...dar hotelul " salvează "planeta pe banii si disconfortul clientului! - minibarul gol - in spatiile comune( lobby,mic dejun ) extrem de frig.Cand veneai de afara de la 28 grade in tricou la 16 grade ...inghetai! - mic dejun slab - un hotel Marriott care m-a dezamagit!

The location was the best, close to city center. All the staff were amazing maybe with the exception of one. The concierge that checked us in was ok but could have been better. She signed me up for the rewards program but I never received the information in my email.

The wifi was awful! It kept making me log in every time and it was so slow. I am glad that I did not have to pay or I would ask for a refund. The pool was so small and dated. Some of the sheets had small worn holes. I also wanted a higher floor but was given a room in the third floor.

Absolutely everyone was so accommodating and very nice we are happy. We will stay again

The room was of good size for a double bed room; it did not looked cramped. Beds were comfortable; location was excellent at the CF Eaton Centre. It has good restaurants nearby. Staff was really nice, particularly Carlos, the gentleman who checked us in.

The cleaning team cleaned the room very late; I came back to the room around 3:00pm and still was not done, Breakfast was pricey when compared to the Marriott Downtown where I stayed before,

We've been travelling across Canada for 3 weeks now, staying in various hotels along the way and I can confidently say that the welcome, service and help we received from Charles at the Marriot CF Eaton Centre reception desk was by far the best we've experienced.

Le lit d’appoint (un divan-lit) pour notre fille de trois ans n’était pas confortable. Elle a finalement dormi avec nous dans le grand lit principal.

Hôtel idéalement placé a côté du centre Eaton et avec un accès rapide à toute la ville. Chambre confortable avec équipements de qualité. Piscine peu profonde ( environ 1m) mais appréciable avec son SPA, surtout au 18ème étage.

Great experience. We stayed for 3 nights as a family of 5. Rooms and hotel were very clean and comfortable. Reasonable walking distance (but not necessarily short) to many major attractions... Hockey Hall of Fame, CN tower, Rogers Centre, Waterfront, Royal Ontario Museum, plus many restaurants. Our car stayed in the hotel garage the whole time. We don't mind walking and this location worked great for our family. I would definitely return to this hotel.

The beds were super comfortable. Staff were friendly. Room was very clean. People next door were a little loud for about an hour between 10-11pm. Love the coffee maker in the room & the large counters in the bathroom.

Parking for 55 dollars in the hotel garage vs. parking for 20 dollars in the eaton centre mall garage is quite a difference especially since the 55 dollars is the straight price & not valet. Would not utilize this when there is a perfectly good parking garage right next to the buildling. Wish you could enter directly into the eaton center without going outide just cause it was POURING but this is not a game changer.

Its location was absolutely perfect. Close to shops and restaurants. The staff were amazing especially the wait staff in the morning for breakfast. Very attentive and they loved our daughter.

The Marriott’s location in the heart of Toronto and adjacent to the Eaton Center is a huge plus. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly and our room was reasonably sized and very clean. However, the food and service quality at Trios Restaurant was average at best. Although it was not busy, we waited close to 30 minutes for our bill on a Sunday night. Colleagues of mine reported similar concerns. I’m unsure if the location justifies the higher nightly rate compared to other hotels in the vicinity.

4.5/5 stars! First time vacationing to Toronto, first time at this hotel. As Marriott members, I look for Marriott's when I travel and I loved the location of this hotel. We also got a decent Military rate, always appreciated. I was booked here with my mother for 4 nights (May 5-9, 2026). We had a very early flight and arrived at the hotel at around 9am. We were offered to checkin early for $75. As it was early, and we had been up so early, I took it. However, I did assume it was just $75, not plus tax. I was surprised to see it over $80 on our bill as that was not explained to me. While we did enjoy getting to the room earlier than expected, I likely won't splurge like that in the future. They will store your bags, way cheaper! Our room (1427) was excellent. Great view. Two double beds. Lots of space. Bathroom was great with wonderful shower pressure. The housekeeping at this hotel is beyond amazing. I hope this hotel knows what gems they have. We wanted for nothing. Room was always cleaned beautifully. I was leaving one afternoon to get ice (machine was broken on our floor) and one of the housekeepers insisted that I should relax and she got our ice. We got two (2) water bottles each day. They noticed that I traveled with mouthwash, and left us one on the 3rd day. They left us notes, wishing us a wonderful stay, thanking us for staying with them. I have three notes on the room itself; 1.) The TV was awful. The hotel has on the website that you can use your Netflix account. We got it to work for 30 minutes the first night, then never again. I would login, it would say "try again" over and over. We switched to Youtube. That worked but the TV would have to reboot every 30 minutes (we would get a notification) and then I would have go back and login again. I was disappointed by the lack of options for a Marriott (no other streaming services). We did let the front desk know about the TV issue when we checked out. 2.) The pillows are not great in the bed. Quite hard, although the bed itself was comfortable. 3.) The in-room coffee pods. We got one regular and one decaf each day. Please, with two adults in a room, can you put in two regular as standard? We asked housekeeping on our 3rd day and received more but, I thought this would be standard. The restaurant. We went for breakfast one day. When I checked in we were offered to upgrade to breakfast with our room daily, I said no because we won't do breakfast daily. The one day we did it, I made a reservation and, when we checked in, they insisted that our room came with breakfast. I kept saying no. They kept arguing with me. We were told to scan our key at the lounge area, and it didn't work. We went back, explained again that breakfast did not go with our room and that we made a reservation. Finally we were sat in the main dining room. Would I recommend breakfast? Not really. We did not do the buffet because it was $40/person and I did not see enough to justify that price. We got two regular breakfast, two coffees. $75 with tip. Neither of us felt like it was worth the price. it was an okay breakfast, not great. Our eggs were very overcooked and not wonderful. I am also worried because, later that day, I received notification that our breakfast reservation was cancelled due to not showing up. Um...we did show up. I charged it to my room. I am worried because, when I made my reservation, it said if you did not show up, they would charge $25/person. Later that day I went back to the restaurant to check and was told we would not be charged but, I am still watching my credit card. You can also grab and go here. I would suggest that. We got two coffee and a bagel to share one day, $12 plus tip. All we needed (which is why I did not add on breakfast!!). Location: PERFECT!! You are right next to Eaton Centre. Lots of dining options. Even lots of options to get coffee and a cheap breakfast (McDonald's in the food court, maybe 7 minute walk total, Tim's too). We did the City Sightseeing Bus tour and the pickup was on the other side of the Eaton Centre. Lots of places to eat on Yonge Street, Dundas, etc. You will not go hungry. Gift shop in the hotel is okay, not the best but you can get basics. Overall, would we stay again? Yes. I think the location was amazing. The service was incredible. We were helped with our bags going to the hotel and then leaving for the airport. I would travel with my Roku next time so we can get better TV. I would not bother with the hotel restaurant but, that is my personal opinion. They have in-room dining. The QR code would not work the entire time we were there. The internet is tricky to get onto as well (make sure you are a rewards member).

The restaurant space is really attractive. It is quite spacious, yet the booths and fireplaces make it cosy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and quiet.
