The shower door in room 104 door doesn’t close completely so I have to use lots of towels to dry the floor lots of water.

The location was convenient. It’s closer to the airport and beaches. The other things that were good was the staff, the pool area and breakfast.

The rooms are dated and disgusting. I had stains on my sheets, the walls nasty, carpet disgusting, and head board nasty. The bathroom was not that clean. The chairs stained and the tables was dusty.

Great experience at the Hampton Inn. Very reasonable prices when booking given similar hotels in the area. I have stayed at Hampton Inns before and have always been happy with their services and amenities...and I was only reassured by the tons of positive reviews online. Room was great with a comfy bed, large TV with lots of channels, adequate HVAC system/climate control and shower water pressure. Good free breakfast as you can expect from a Hampton Inn...juices, coffee, yogurt, breads and some hot options like eggs and sausages. One of the unique and interesting features of this hotel is a free happy hour. Nightly, in the lobby, during certain hours there is a free happy hour that serves soft drinks, wine, beer and hard liquor. There is a pool just past the lobby with pool chairs and a grill. Location is great, close to the airport, in the popular Isla Verde area with lots of eating options nearby. Metropol, a great and reasonably-priced restaurant, is right next door within walking distance. About a 10-minute (0.5 mile) walk to the beach. Parking is about $16 per night and there is a gated lot.

The pool area is nice, and they also offer free chairs and umbrellas for the beach. They have a laundry facility onsite for guests usage for a small fee. The air definitely worked, it was freezing. Kenny was very cheerful and helpful.

The property is very outdated for the price. The happy hour snacks and drinks are blah. The noise outside the door when someone walks by is very loud and clear. They should offer nightly entertainment. The tub was filling up while showering,which I later found out they just had a water crisis. The hot water was definitely HOT though PLUS. Most of the staff wasn’t very friendly.

Nuestra experiencia fue excelente. Todo el personal fue muy amable, atento y servicial durante nuestra estadía. Nos encantó el área del desayuno buffet, ya que contaba con una gran variedad de opciones para todos los gustos. También apreciamos mucho que hubiera café y chocolate caliente disponibles durante todo el día. El área de la piscina es hermosa, cómoda y perfecta para relajarse. En general, todo superó nuestras expectativas y disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía. ¡Sin duda volveríamos y lo recomendamos!

Como único detalle, nos hubiera gustado que las camas fueran un poco más amplias para mayor comodidad.

This review isn't a reflection of the facility itself bc I never wound up staying. My cat almost died... and I had to cancel my trip to care for her and keep her alive. Even though I called on the cancellation date ... but just a few hours behind the deadline...not only was the customer service rep innappropriate about his inquiry into the nature of my emergency... but was then dismissive about it when I shared my story. He said "Was it your mom? oh... oh it was your cat... no we cant refund that". Pet parents know... they are members of our family!!! I offered to share proof/documentation of the emergency care visits, I said I would rebook later and accept a limited time credit, a partial credit ANYTHING. I begged, indicating that I was ONLY a few hours late to the cutoff. He just dismissed me and said no refund. It's funny, I spoke with several AI chatbots before being transferred to a human... and I was sure the human would understand and help. Nope. It's all about $$$ to big chains like this. I had a multipart trip planned, so I had to make quite a few phonecalls that day. Every single other hotel and airline I had to call that day to cancel treated me with empathy, and like they valued my business. The other customer service reps gladly helped me to get a full refund/credit (one had already even processed my card... I was DAYS past the refund cutoff... still got a full hotel credit). The other establishments actually showed compassion. I travel alot, and because of this experience I will NEVER CHOOSE HAMPTON INN OR HILTON PROPERTIES AGAIN and will share this story with as many people as I can.. If anyone from the company sees this... shame on you... you should value your customers and treat them like valued customers... and with a little more empathy. Business is business.. and I get that... but being a good human being matters.

We were there for two nights. No room service. Requested towels and tissue. We were gone all day. Called when we got back to the room no answer. Had to go the help desk twice to get them. I thought that to be poor service.

Place was fine- could use an uplift on some of the building. Night manager was great! Daytime not so great- young woman at checkin not real helpful nor day time manager(we needed some help). Restaurant (pool side sm grill)staff great and burgers very good-did not have to leave hotel. I would stay again

Staff was friendly and our kids enjoyed the pool while we waited for the room to be ready. Our flight was incredibly early the next morning so the location and proximity to airport made things easy.

Decor is a bit dated and tired, but everything was clean and welcoming.

There were two staff members who may our stay super enjoyable: Mr. Alberto from the kitchen and Ms. Stephanie from the front desk. They are amazing people. When I got there, they assigned us a room that has a very high level of noise. My brother could not sleep the whole night and I could sleep because I have a problem with my back and was in pain the whole night because the bed was very uncomfortable. We asked for a room change. They gave us a lower room with not noise and Stephanie managed to find me a memory foam mattress. So we were happy with our room. Meanwhile, Mr. Alberto who is the chef from the kitchen heard that we can no consume pork as part of our diet. He took the time to prepare for us every single morning turkey saugeges or turkey bacon for breakfast. He is an amazing person and should be recognize for the way he treats guests. I would definitely stay there again. The staff from the restaurant by the pool were also very nice! Kudos to them.

The fact that they didnot make my bed one day because they claimed that's the hotel policy. They said that they make it every other day. I went to the front desk and I requested a change.i told them that if I paid the same amount every day, I expect the full service every day. They send a person to do my room every day after that.

Close to SJU

Noise from the airplanes taking off from the airport was unexpectedly loud early in the morning. If my room was on the other side of the hallway i suspect it would NOT be an issue. Suggestion: book all rooms away from the airport side of the building FIRST. No reason to put guests in the loudest rooms in the building until required based on occupancy. Common sense for anyone in the hospitality business interested in ensuring the highest rated guest experience possible.

The hotel is okay, but be aware that because it's close to the airport, there is a constant sound of planes until early evening.

Very conveniently close to the Luis Muñoz Marin (SJU) airport. Very clean rooms. Full breakfast available in the ample dining area. Close to local restaurants and shops. Staff are attentive and friendly. Because of our short (one night) stay, we weren't able to visit the pool area but it looked inviting.

With the understanding that anything close to an airport carries a steep price, the hotel could offer a few more amenities, such as a better in-room coffee maker and a microwave besides the mini fridge. Additional hooks in the bathroom would be helpful.

In for one night before a cruise. This is a great place to relax before the trip. Swimming pool with a great rotunda snack shack poolside. It has a limited menu but food is very good. Extensive breakfast buffet. Happy hour 5-7 with complimentary drinks. Rooms large and comfortable. Only downside is loud take-offs from runway close to the property. Special kudos to Irma for friendly service at the snack shack and happy hour.

It’s honestly really disappointing the way oír group was treated . We’ve been here for 4 days already , we called the second day to ask to please clean our room and was told that it’s one day yes and one day no , we said okay . Third day comes around we leave and come back 7pm …. Nothing was done . We left today 7am and on the way back from aguadilla we called and asked if they were cleaned … we got told one of the rooms was cleaned and the other room was currently being cleaned . We arrived now at 6pm , nothing was done . This little kid game is ridiculous. I’ve never had this problem at any hotel . They always clean EVERYDAY! Get better workers .

Hampton Inn and suites San Juan is a very nice place. The building and grounds are well maintained. The location is convenient to many restaurants. It is less than 10 minutes from the airport. The sound of the airplane is fairly loud from the pool. However, the planes are surprisingly quiet from the room. Breakfast is standard Hampton fair. Premade omelette or scrambled eggs. Sausage links or sausage patties or Italian sausage. Breakfast potatoes. Waffle and pastries. Boiled eggs and oatmeal. Juice and cereal. The beach is three blocks away and two chairs and an umbrella are provided with coupons from the front desk. The pool is very nice with plenty of comfortable chairs and umbrellas. The food at the pool side Gazebo is very good. Many people talk about the hamburgers. We found the shrimp tacos to be delicious. There is a busy highway between the hotel and the airport. Highway traffic is noticeable from the pool, but not really noticeable from the rooms. There is a Pueblo two blocks down the road that is a very well stocked grocery store. There is a reception in the lobby/breakfast area every evening from 5 PM to 7 PM. Cocktails and Coke are provided. There is also some type of snack like popcorn or chips and cheese or mixed nuts.

Not the best Hampton I’ve stayed in! Located about 6 mins from the airport this Hampton is in need of a major revamp. They slapped some paint on the walls and called it a day. The staff on the other hand the staff was lovely, there is a pool and a nice breakfast.

Priced kinda high. The staff at the desk were not real frindly much at all. Hotel was clean and well maintained. The beach is behind Dennys close and nice. Plenty of restaurants walking distance....

Trots att vi hade ringt och mailat om att vi skulle landa sent med flyget och vi blivit lovade att vi hade rummet som vi betalat för så hade dom avbokat vårt rum men utan pengar tillbaka.

Despite requesting late checkout in consideration of my 82 year old mon and a cancelled 6 am flight the answer was “no, we are booked solid.” We gladly checked out at 10 AM.
