Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street

El hotel es muy agradable, tiene buenos espacios, el desayuno es bueno aunque no muy variado, las habitaciones son comodas pero les hace falta mantenimiento.

En la habitacion la llave del lavamanos y algunos enchufes estaban dañados.

Beautiful hotel, when we arrived it was only 8am due to disembarking a cruise. We were aware of check in time but wanted to leave our bags, when we arrived the reception staff offered to let us check in now for $50 dollars and we got 2 free drink vouchers and breakfast too.

Nothing that i can think of that would have changed our stay

It was close to the cruise port

The staff! Check in was a total nightmare!

I like the area that the hotel was sitting in as well as some of the amenities, including the free snacks and drink tickets.

My room smelled of mildew when I complained about it, they offered to thin housekeeping, which would not fix the problem, considering I believe the carpet and other things in the room had gotten wet when I pulled my ironing board out of the closet. The whole bottom half was soaking wet and I was unable to use it.

The room and happy hour.

All was good.

The location was great, close to many attractions, restaurants, shopping etc. The pool was very inviting and the water feature on the ground floor was visually appealing. The beds were comfortable, and the room had ample space and did not feel cramped at all. Although parking was expensive spaces were always available and the valet was always on hand.

Bathroom fixtures, particularly the shower head (dirty) and shower curtain (torn and tattered), which they did after speaking to a manager, but maintenance replaced it with a defective shower head that was only marginally cleaner. Room Service did not come every day and when they did it didnt feel like they spent any time to clean, only change towels and empty the bin, the Wi-Fi was intermittent particularly on nights when there was a lot of people in the hotel.

Chambre familiale pratique avec deux espaces. Propre

Salle de bain trop petite. Loin du centre de Fort Lauderlale

Very big and comfy rooms. Very good common areas. Great breakfast. Big pool.

Needs maintenance.

Convenient location for before cruise boarding or after cruise stay. Swimming pool is a great place to kill time and enjoy the Florida’s sunshine. The breakfast choices are plenty.

The lifts were too slow.

bathroom need renovation and toilet plugged

The room and the overall layout of the facility, it was beautiful.

We had to pay two days of parking for $ 77.00 that was a pure rip off! We were not told this up front and could not get refunded for the excessive overcharge.

Staff all friendly and large suites which were great value for money

Parking charge

Perfect location for the cruise port, able to walk to many restaurants. Pool was very nice

Every thing was great

I liked that the restaurant was on property and was very good!

The pillows smelled like bleach

the location to the Port is Great and the breakfast; the communication through your APP was nice too

No Dislikes

Nothing at all, old and not well-kept

Corridors and public areas are dirty and smelly. Staff never replied any requests nor messages and very disorganized among themselves???

Location is close to the cruise port. They offer transportation to/from the airport and cruise port. This was helpful for us as we had toddlers in our group without car seats. If this is not the case for you, just use Uber.

Found a bug (think it was a small roach) in the bathroom.

Loved it! The pool the indoor area for food the rooms so elegant and affordable

That I had to pay $38 for parking for one night

Location

Staff not friendly, room not son clean over charge me

Great breakfast

Check in was very long staff working on new software

i stayed there for two days, had to leave for family emergency and no one was able to help me check out properly! They did not reimburse my money, they just kept saying there was a cancellation fee. I understand i had a cancellation to pay, but the whole payment i made for $1700 was never returned to me! Poor customer service! will never go back! will never recommend them!

nothing!

Todo excelente

Todo excelente

This was the stop off for a night before a cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale, so from that perspective the location was perfect - only a mile or so and an easy shuttle ride away. The suites are pretty old fashioned, but they are large, clean and comfortable. There are a lot of amenities on site and the happy hour with vouchers for free drinks is a nice touch.

Don't plan on going anywhere quickly unless you can take stairs - there aren't many elevators and they're pretty small so you can wait a long time at check-in/check-out times when everyone with luggage needs to use them. The lobby / atrium spaces are large, but can easily get overcrowded at these times, too, especially when everyone is waiting for a shuttle to port.

Very comfortable room, and especially liked separation from the living room and bedroom

I got a great prepaid price on Booking - but I was surprised after I checked out there was an additional "$30 Destination Charge" .. what's that all about? :/

Close to port.

Fee for parking

Nice quiet location, staff was great and the hotel was clean and room very spacious lived it will definitely stay there again and close to Uptown Charlotte

The location was amazing and absolutely love the floor plan

Had a smell couldn’t quite figure out what but other than that it was an amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street. The rooms are absolutely huge and very spacious, making the stay especially comfortable for families. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options and something for everyone. The staff were also incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is another major advantage, especially for anyone taking a cruise from Port Everglades. The hotel is very conveniently located near the cruise port, making it an excellent choice for a pre- or post-cruise stay.

The customer service

The pool needs some work

Good size, rooms, friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast, nice ambiance in the hotel. We stayed here prior to our cruise, and it was quite convenient, especially with the shuttle to take us to the cruise port.

The rooms could do with some updating, but otherwise quite comfortable and nice

I really enjoyed the freshly done omelets and the gym space was lovely. The daily cleaning too was also a plus.

Our shower was leaking above it. Room 323 and the microwave was not working. That was a big problem esp when we had food to reheat.

Loved the plants

The pool was closed, would not have booked if known. The ceiling leaked into the sink anything on the counter was soaked and you could hear it all night

Location … room cost … everything!!

Nothing

Location and facility was great

Room not what I booked. The checked another couple into my room that entered my room while my 87 year old mother was in there. My room keys kept deactivating

The spacious rooms ,breakfast and the location

Only 3 washing machines and 3 tumble dryers for the whole of the hotel

Clean, comfy beds, great hot shower. Close to port Everglades

The check in system was broken, so we had to wait for 2 hours in reception, we were tired after our 9 hours flight. Then they didn’t give us the right room, we booked a twin and we were given a king

Front desk with Niels was great!!

Breakfast chaotic

Stayed here for one night before a cruise and the location is great, if you get an east or south facing room you can see the shops in port… I love being able to choose my room during mobile checking as a Hilton Honors member. When we stayed this time our room we were given was still being cleaned but then was quickly moved to the room next door without needing to visit the desk. The rooms are spacious with a full living room and bedroom. The only negative aren’t the bathrooms, they desperately need an upgrade and don’t match the mostly updated rooms. The elevators can also be slow, or full, and with many floors it can take a while, especially with a lot of cruise travelers leaving on the same day. Breakfast is ok and crowded, so get there early. Overall it’s a decent place to stay when you need to be close to the port and it’s conveniently located near a shopping plaza with Publix, TJMaxx, and a few restaurants. We are at the pizza place in the shopping center and the owner was very friendly talkative.

The service was absolutely excellent Amy and Coleen who served us lunch at the bar Ware spectacular atmosphere three years ago and I got the absolute same wonderful service and experience

Amazing service with Amy and Carmen in food and beverages. We enjoyed the friendly polite service. The seafood quesadilla was amazing. Definitely a must stay!!!

Coco Louisiana is my trip advisor ambassador and explained Hilton very well. She was friendly and perfect for the job.

We stayed here before our cruise and had the extreme pleasure of meeting Amy. She had us laughing and gave us many great recommendations for menu items (we had the quesadillas and a pizza and both were phenomenal) and even places locally to venture out to. We will definitely recommend this place over and over again and she’s the sole reason!

Nico was the best! Professional and personable all at the same time. Gave me assistance with the process and made my experience pleasurable. Clone him!

Steven was great!! Good service!!

It was just ok. Long check in line . Staff notified it was a new system. Hilton honors and was put on 2nd floor.

It was awesome. Kathleen was very nice.

Property was clean and very comfortable

We booked this hotel for our pre-cruise night. The staff was welcoming, the grounds and common areas were very nicely appointed, and the atrium felt calm and relaxing even during the breakfast rush. Evening happy hour and snacks were just OK. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we even had a view of the port so we saw our ship as it arrived early morning! This location is ideal for those flying in for a cruise because it's not far from FLL and less than 10 minutes to Port Everglades via Uber. They do offer a paid shuttle for both locations, but Uber was cheaper and easier for our family of 4 adults.

The hotel atrium created a wonderful eating and lounging area. It was centrally located to many eateries.

The ice machine wasn't easy to access 😕

Everything

There wasn’t anything to dislike

The location is fine. I never got a digital key, so I had to wait in a very slow-moving line at check in while the front desk staff kept stepping away despite there being a long line. The surfaces in our room were extremely dusty. The body wash in the shower was completely empty. The lines at the breakfast buffet were obscene. Stay somewhere else where they care about the customer.

Good breakfast, clean room and very nice. Valet parking good.

The room was spacy and the bed comfortable.

The toilet didn’t flush, the shower had no pressure and they told us breakfast ended at 10, when in fact it ended at 9 and we ended without having breakfast and the woman at the restaurant was very rude.

Close to the cruise terminal, great pool area

Older property, needs a little updating

Amy at Taste is fantastic! Suggested hotel breakfast and other things. Super helpful and a wonderful host at the bar! Her specialty drink during the reception is always special!! TRY IT! Also, Soumi in the restaurant is a great server! She is super friendly and an absolute gem!!

Steven is an amazing bartender!! I'll be back. He took great care of us and was extremely attentive.

The team were incredibly helpful, a special mention to Coco who was so kind and courteous and gave us excellent recommendation, great personality, welcoming and professional, exemplary hospitality. Also special mention to Duty Manager John, who was v kind and professional. Thank you!

The decor and the entrance are exceptionally wonderful, the water running through the main floor is absolutely amazing! The rooms were spacious and so comfortable! I felt like I had my own little apartment! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cosy and relaxing space to stay:)

No conplaints

Boa localização

Chuveiro parecia contra gotas, não tinha pressão, mudei de quarto e continuou igual. Um dia bati limparam o. Meu quarteto. Café da manhã era muito limitado de opções pelo preço que estava pagando.

Great location! Not far from the airport and the cruise port, this hotel is in a great location. There are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, so you won't need a car. The hotel has been recently renovated since our last visit and it looks great. I have stayed here multiple times over the last 25 years and the renovations make it look new! There is a great variety for breakfast, that is included with your stay as well as an evening cocktail hour with snacks and drinks. The pool area is nice as well. Staff is friendly. The only negative is the slow elevators that get overrun at check out time. I would definitely stay here again when sailing out of Port Everglades.

Just love the whole setup all the decorations in the waterfalls, plus the staff was adorable and friendly and awesome

There wasn't anything I didn't like, it was well worth what it cost

Coco from Louisiana did a great job making us feel welcome.

The location

Our room smelled so bad like wet feet and mold. The entire rug was soaking wet from what looked like a possible leak from the shower.

Jacob at the valet was amazing great experience

Jacob at the valet was amazing!!!

Enjoyed the drink tickets at the start of our stay, and the staff all around were very helpful.

Very impressive interiors . Great buffet in the morning and lots of seating in the atrium.

Jason, Niko, and Kathleen were super helpful, friendly. They helped me with check in, parking and made everything very convenient.

Kathleen on check in was so helpful 🙏

Not much , its an older property but well maintained & heaps of restaurants all in walking distance as was the Water Taxi

Nico in parking is awesome He was very responsive to the needs of his customers. I learned too late about the educator summer discount package that included parking. Nico gave me the parking anyway because he loves teachers. In addition, Nico was warm, friendly, and helpful. This is our third summer staying at Embassy Suites.

Outstanding experience at the Embassy. Especially enjoyed the Happy Hour Bar. Steven and Amy are outstanding.

I like the indoor garden

The staff was professional, the pool area was beautiful.

I have no issues

Shuttle service to the airport was great and our though only for one night was really nice.

N/A

Breakfast was plentiful with great variety.

Toilet in room kept running.

Coco is our ambassador and I had the opportunity to chat with her for a few minutes. She was warm and welcoming! I mentioned to her how much I enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The free breakfast has made to order food and is served buffet style to you. Highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at Fort Lauderdale and we love everything! Coco was the best! She gave us many helpful tips! Thanks 😊

I came to Fort Lauderdale to get on a cruise and when I arrived at my hotel, I was greeted with great service and I received help from Coco and she was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and go to Coco if you need any help.

Coco was great she link my accounts was knowledgeable about the properties

Me and my two sons had a wonderful time. Our server Stephen was fun and polite.

We were in town for the AAU Taekwondo National Championships with our team and stopped in after a long day of competition. Any was absolutely amazing! She was welcoming, attentive, and kept a smile on her face the entire time, even with our larger group. The drinks were excellent, the service was top-notch, and she made us feel right at home. Thank you for helping make our Nationals trip even more memorable. We highly recommend stopping by!

Stephen and Amy at the terrace taste were very accommodating friendly and helpful. Made the stay better

Let me start by saying the staff is very nice and friendly! But the room was awful! The bathtub was peeling, the sink was backed up in the sitting room, there were only 2 towels and 4 of us. The power went out on the first night and there were kids screaming in the halls at midnight. We stayed here because they were remodeling last year but this year the room was worse!

Amy was absolutely amazing! She did an incredible job taking care of everyone during our stay at the Embassy Hotel for the Taekwondo tournament. Even with our large group, she was friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on her face. She made sure everyone had what they needed and created such a welcoming atmosphere. Her outstanding customer service truly made our experience even better. Thank you, Amy, for all your hard work and kindness—we really appreciate you!

Valet Parking was great, Jason a great person

From Jason in valet to hotel staff top notch service. Clean hotel over all and very convenient location. We enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend.

Localización y trato

Suciedad en los pasillos

We booked a room for a family of 4. They provided only 2 towels. After multiple phone calls and interactions with staff, it took 3 hours to two more towels. Then to top it off, shower was lukewarm at best. Morning breakfast was good but the evening reception had a very poor selection.

Steven at the bar was Great. Good drink and service

My room had trash laying around. And no towels. Mini fridge barely works. At least Steven at the lobby bar made our day better.

Location was excellent. The included breakfast was exceptional.

Hard sell at the evening free cocktail.

Location

Was not clean, old, fixtures fall apart

Coco Kemp was our Guest Advisor and was fantastic! She provided us with information about the hotel, Hilton and the surrounding area. She’s a great asset for Hilton and we enjoyed our discussion.

The front desk receptionist Cynthia was extremely courteous, personable and very helpful.

The experience at check in was an excellent. Cynthia was knowledgeable and made the process simple and easy. Very pleasant and exceptional customer service.

Miss Amy was wonderful and helpfull
