Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port & Convention Center - Newly Renovated

Location was easy to reach, the breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean and Comfy .

It’s the first time I pay parking for a hotel. I ve been to many places and if the parking is not private it’s free. It should be part of the hotel amenities. You would drive more people to the hotel with free parking . Think about it. After this experience I started to look for other hotels with free parking .

In an excellent location, near to all amenities, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy. 7 minutes to the cruise port. Provides a shuttle to the cruise port for a small charge per person. Lovely pool area with pool towels provided. Breakfast if required. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, very friendly. Room was excellent.

Las camas del hotel que son súper cómodas y el desayuno.

No me gustó el espacio tan incómodo que hay en el comedor para desayunar, el espacio es muy pequeño para tanto huésped. Y tuvimos que esperar rato para poder sentarnos y te tenía niños pequeños. Además es en el mismo lobby, deberia hacer un Salón aparte con bastantes mesas y sillas para poder desayunar.

Gave me a large handicap room which made my stay very easy.

lot of noise during day, and night, can not sleep, in the hallway, and room. kids were yelling running in the hallway, all night, and day, no parent supervision.

O quarto (em tamanho, conforto e limpeza) superou muito nossas expectativas; foi excelente! O café da manhã também estava muito gostoso e achei bem completinho (ovos mexidos, bacon, batatas, panquecas, pães variados, sucos, iogurtes e cereais, e até alguma frutas) . A única coisa que realmente fez falta foi um serviço de quarto no período da noite: gostaríamos de ter pedido algo para comer no apartamento mesmo por estar tarde e estarmos cansados, mas o hotel não oferece esse tipo de serviços ainda, mantendo apenas uma pequena venda de salgadinhos, doces e etc.

A única coisa que realmente fez falta foi um serviço de quarto no período da noite: gostaríamos de ter pedido algo para comer no apartamento mesmo por estar tarde e estarmos cansados, mas o hotel não oferece esse tipo de serviços ainda, mantendo apenas uma pequena venda de salgadinhos, doces e etc.

The room was very spacious and the breakfast was decent and included meat.

They did not tell me about the 35 dollar per day just to park there beforehand. I thought it was part of the whole price from the beginning.

We arrived after midnight, but we're able to check in right away. We were greeted by a very professional and knowledgeable desk person who was very helpful giving us information about breakfast and also letting us know that water would be turned off for a brief while due to maintenance the following morning. She was great! The morning staff was awesome as well!

The staff were not welcoming, also the bed and pillows were not comfortable. The AC kept turning off throughout the night making it tough to sleep.

room was very nice and spacious. Room was clean as was bathroom. Location is great and with walking distance to many restaurants. There is one at hotel, but we had very early morning checkout before breakfast hour began so I have no input as to food selection or quality

the one downside is they charge for parking on property. I would prefer that the parking should be free if you are staying at the hotel and paying for the room

The location was perfect, if you didn’t have a vehicle it was walkable to many restaurants and stores.

I’ve used this hotel many times before and after the renovation. After my cruise I booked online needed some place to stay for a few hours before our flight. Quickly realized it wasn’t going to work with the time we needed to catch our flight. Called in and spoke to a manager, was told they couldn’t refund me, which was ok. I asked could I get a credit for my next visit and was told no, they couldn’t help me. That was very disappointing being I had used your property many times, including the week before, right before my cruise!

Eu reservei um quarto duplo, a única coisa que achei ruim é que não era especificado que era um quarto com duas camas do lado e uma cama, meu entender seriam 2 quartos integrados; fora isso tudo excelente O hotel não é muito grande, o espaço pra café da manhã é pequeno portanto precisa de organização pra comer senão você não consegue pois está sempre lotado

Stayed here 2 days before our cruise. My family and I enjoyed our stay so much that we wished we could have made our stay longer. We enjoyed the pool and the staff was very helpful.

Excellent experience, if taking a cruise very close to the port and shuttle service is great. Hotel looks new and clean.

It was close to the convention center

We booked a double room with two beds and a pull out bed. They gave us a room with a single bed and a pull out. When we brought it up to the front desk they said they were fully booked and had no other rooms available. When we went back up to the room we realized not only was the room incorrect but the air conditioning was not working and was 80 degrees. We waited for maintenance to come check it out and once it was confirmed there was an issue with it we went back downstairs with our 3 kids and luggage to then being told they’re giving us another room. But I thought there were no other rooms available? Once we went to the new room it was the double room with the double beds and a pull out bed with air conditioning

My intended flight was cancelled and I called the hotel cancel my reservation, I spoke with Jessica, who was very informative, and obviously knowledgeable in her capacity. She advised me not to cancel my stay, should an alternative flight be found. It was the best decision. Upon arrival to the facility I met Elijah who was just as informative, and once again once trained. It was an excellent experience! Well done!

Our room wasn't ready until 5pm. I do not like the shower amenities. Couldn't get enough shampoo or conditioner out of container. Like they were near empty.

My room was right next to the gym, I heard weights banging and the room was across from the employees entrance for house keepers and laundry room and the room was right by the pool entrance, I heard noise until 100 am and then at 6 the noise started again.

We really liked the Hyatt Place. The shuttle was frequent and n time. The rooms werre spacious and clean. Most of the staff was friendlt and courteous with the exception of one guy (I think he was maintenance, bald black shirt with name tag) threw us out of the aundry room while we were doing laundry stating "Leave this room free for guests"n like we were squatters or something. VERY RUDE!

This hotel is in a very convenient location, just 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches. Because of its proximity to the cruise port, the hotel stays quite busy, but the front desk staff handled check-in efficiently and courteously. The complimentary hot breakfast was enjoyable, with a wide variety of options available. The room was modern, clean, spacious, and well maintained. The pool area was also clean and well stocked. As a Hyatt Explorist member, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and appreciated the complimentary bottled water provided daily for everyone staying in the room. Free parking was another great benefit! Overall, this is a clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff, excellent service, and a convenient location.

We stayed in 2 rooms prior to our cruise and enjoyed the hotel and location. However once we got to the ship my son-in-law realized he had left his phone charger in the room. He immediately called the hotel and after talking to several people, was told the charger was found and would be waiting at the front desk for him when we got off the cruise. After disembarking, we went to the hotel on our way to the airport only to be told by a woman at the front desk that the charger was not there. She then dismissed us very rudely and would not try to help locate it. After reading other reviews it seems there have been several complaints about her attitude toward guests. Another employee took our phone number and said he would have someone in management call us and have it mailed to us. After several weeks of no contact, we called the hotel again only to be told we should have gone on the hotel’s website and filed a lost item claim. No one had mentioned that before. I realize it’s not the hotels fault that my SIL left his charger, but when we were told, “it’s in my hand and will be at the front desk waiting for you”, and then to be ignored and dismissed when you tried to retrieve it, that’s bad customer service.

the HYATT PLACE in 1851 SE 10th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, United States (Dania Beach) staff are WORST - they need to re evaluate the staffs most esp the Indonesian at the cashier really rude, doesn't know the word friendliness to your guests she's so aggressive & not helpful same as the other we check in right on time 3pm - they said the room is not ready yet & will just call us - so we waited at the chair in front of the cashier (me , my husband & 4 kids) we waited 45mins & when I asked her (indosian girl) if the room is available now she said its avail and I told her why nobody call us to let us know that our room is available -- her response if you want I can cancel your booking -- What is that I didn't argue as Im with my family I don't want my husband to hear her say that - Its our cruise moment . but told myself I'm never ever come back to this place -- Do something about your customer service with this Hyatt location - 1851 SE 10th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, United States(Dania Beach)

There transport company they use were closed when we got in. There hours need to be updated on there website/ booking list. When we asked about it the lady from the company was rude when we asked about it.

We went as weary travelers just getting off a cruise. We wanted a day to decompress before traveling back home. Quite frankly we chose this hotel as it seemed quite reasonable in price and we weren't looking for much. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff even though it was quite busy. The ladies at the front desk got us situated and let us store our luggage until our room was ready. We lounged by the pool and then went to the room that was ready 2 hours early. The room (6th floor) was quite large, much bigger than we anticipated. It was very clean, plenty of towels. The staff could not have been better, they were so friendly and that night shift sure has a sense of humor :)

O hotel nos surpreendeu em todos os sentidos. Quarto bem acima das expectativas, ambientes do hotel muito novos e bem estruturados. A localização também é um ponto à parte, pois é bem localizado e próximo da praia e de pontos famosos na cidade.

O café da manhã é bom, mas sim, pode melhorar. Porém a observação é que esse é o padrão americano, que é bem diferente do nosso brasileiro. Considerando o padrão de café da manhã dos EUA... está OK
