Border Inn and Suites Lloydminster

The room was clean and quiet. The food was good from tge

Been staying for years this time on 6th floor, was very quiet and comfortable

Reception staff need training

They wouldn't let me take breakfast to my room. I find it strange. I even offered to bring my plate, if that was eco issue. I found it strange.

Location is good

Carpet in hotel room was very grossly stained all over. For being a non smoking hotel, elevators and hallways had very strong smell of weed

The hotel was great to stay at. Dated decor, but very clean, comfortable and the stay was quiet.

Very comfortable room, excellent staff all out a very enjoyable stay

Clean and affordable

The electronic room key was unreliable. Staff were good.

Great location, comfy bed, loved the bar food. Very friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. This is definitely my new go to spot when travelling through Lloydminster.

All around great hotel

Mostly clean room, but there were crumbs in the drawers of the end tables, and the couch in the separate living room was dirty. Staff were not very welcoming or helpful. Nicely laid out suite, lots of storage space, very good lighting.

Friendly staff

Its a nice place within easy walking dustance of mall. Nice rooms decent price

Conveniently located for our one night stay. Staff were friendly and room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was included and wasn’t anything worth writing about.

I didn't use the hot tub but went shopping.

This was a great hotel for the price! Nothing extravagant, but was clean and convenient. Complimentary breakfast was simple but tasty. It’s right in the middle of all the amenities that you’d need.

We regularly stay at this hotel when in Lloydminster. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. It is well located and priced well.

Rooms are getting a little worn but very clean and comfortable.

Excellent hotel

Nice breakfast included

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel. Would stay there again

Very clean

Bathrooms were tiny

friendly staff

The carpet is gross stains all over, and when I pulled the sofa bed out there was hair on the sheets which indicated they were not changed.

Excellent stay.

The gym was good. Treadmill, stepper, recumbent bike and individual weights rack. Would have been nice to have something like a bowflex or pull down weight set machine. Unfortunately, no smart tv and cable tv was not very good. Pool was noce, but very cold water.

Good location for shopping

Wasn’t impressed with the breakfast buffet & restaurant food in the lounge. Was awaken at 2:30 am-6 am by loud talking in the next room.

Very good.

Room was clean, staff were perfect, its OK for Business trips

Great place

Quiet room, good breakfast with very friendly staff.

Much nicer inside than it looks from the outside. Rooms are good and spacious. The breakfast is good and the lady who works it is lovely, spreads sunshine all over the place.

Breakfast

A nice quiet room

The bar girl was rude and there were a lot of nouse in this hotel

I called front desk for my TV is not working. She gave assurance that someone will come to fix it, unfortunately, nobody came.

A simple yet clean and accommodating hotel for a reasonable rate. The breakfast was good and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The room was great ... excellent shower .. quiet ... comfortable beds!!!

Great pub food. Furnace fans extremely noisy.

Convenient; price was right; bed was excellent; some of the furniture is in disrepair; some furniture needed a good cleaning; the three dogs staying a few rooms away from me was not good -- they barked varying times of the day/evening

Great stay overall!

We stayed because of a wedding at the hotel. Room was perfect. No issues at all. Staff were helpful and very welcoming. Great little lounge as well.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good breakfast included with stay.

This property is clean, very good breakfast, great staff. Only issue was noisy neighbors till 3:00 AM.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, affordable option. Would stay again.

Room was great. Loved having a balcony. Great price

The staff are all so very nice. The room was clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast was good.

Breakfast was great.

King suite very nice size. Microwave fridge and 2 tv's. One in living room 1 in the bedroom. Concete constuction gave total quite. Large windows in living area and bedroom. Recommend.

The hotel was pretty good and some upgrades were done but the bathroom was a little tired and water in the tub came out with rust and black pebbles. I think this is an old facility.

They had no water. No bathroom, no shower, no water. We did not stay there and are waiting for our refund.

Overall, the property is great clean staff was also very nice

Phone service

The towels were a little skimpy. Kinda worn out. First hotel I’ve been to in a long time without any recycling tub 👎

It was nice to be able to bring my dog with me.

The property was clean and staff was friendly. Very good price for the room. I only wish there was a hot tub!!

Both the night and morning front desk staff were not the friendliest. Breakfast staff were terrific.

The staff was professional and pleasant

Breakfast was well stocked, nice lady serving. Beds comfortable.

BED BUGS! I hope we receive a full refund!! Left in the middle of the night.

Older rooms but renovated and clean. Beds very comfortable. Very nice breakfast area but could have a few more options. Friendly staff

So-so check in. Not un-friendly but not welcoming. Surprised by the big room with a living room couch & comfy side chair. Extra sink by fridge & microwave. Office desk and TV. Plus another area with the bed and a 2nd TV. Lots of lighting. Restaurant on-site was great. Good food & friendly service. Bathroom is clean and tub is big. We wanted to swim but pool was not open. Front desk staff said maybe at 7 but it didn't get open until almost 8 pm. No explanation as to what was going on. Looked like a nice pool area, wide, large, steps for kids to sit or get in slowly. Water seemed a good temperature. We decided to skip it as it was late.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff

Easy to find, quiet, friendly.

I liked this place very much. The suite I was assigned was very comfortable and luxurious. Some of the hotel looked like it need some upgrade, but it was great value for my money. I will absolutely rebook this place when I am in the area. The breakfast was very generous.

Not quite sure why there was a smell of sewer in our room and in the hall...

Quiet and comfortable. Nice lounge

helpful staff, good room, lovely shower, recommend for stay

Friendly desk clerk

The stay was adequate. The hotel definetly needs a refresh. The pool was shut down for our 4 nights, there were stains on the carpets, the tv didn't work and the breakfast was lackluster with very limited options. The front desk were very personable though, and maintenance quickly delivered a fan when we asked. We probably wouldn't book again in the future.

Friendly helpful desk clerk

Clean and nice rooms breakfast was great staff great

The quiet, clean, comfortable, user- friendly acommodations; cheerful, helpful lady attending to the breakfast area. Thankful for a much neede goodnight's rest!!!

Our stay was good. Check in was friendly. However the next morning when my husband went to get out breakfast tickets, the person at the front desk did not want to give him the tickets for the people in our room. She acted like je was a suspicious person. Please not my husband is a person of colour. The next morning we had no issues getting the tickets ( new person at front desk)

Walking distance to a lot of shopping options, clean, big rooms

Breakfast was great. Amazing hostess.

Good stay. Good breakfast.

Heard the next door quest yelling at his computer throughout the night. It was like he was in our room.

The pub inside was great. The area around the hotel was just dirty and def needs some updates when compared to other hotels to choose from.

Clean, quiet

loved the breakfast. easy access for us 3 old ladies. the only think I didn't like was the carpeting was dirty.

Excellent breakfast Modern & very clean room Great shower for seniors

Reservation made here. Because we need a hot tub. Was extremely disappointed upon arrival to find that the hot tub was not available!

Very reasonable with breakfast included. Coffee available in the lobby in the morning.

Convenient location, quiet, friendly, would stay again.

Quiet hotel. Very friendly staff in breakfast room! Front desk clerk helpful. Would definitely stay again. Carpet in room could use a deep clean.

Rates were really good, rooms were clean

Good overall, cleanliness in hallways can be improved. Doors to adjacent room can be a nuisance if yo have noisy neighbors. Their breakfast hours may not fit your work schedule, check before you make your reservation.

Great place for being a non-chain hotel. Will plan to stay again.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The lady looking after the free breakfast area was so cheerful and attentive! Rooms are spacious and clean!

Beds were clean & comfortable. Quiet hotel. Pool was closed due to maintenance. Breakfast was great - bacon eggs hash browns! And the breakfast waitress was fabulous

Favourite place to stay

Dirty carpet, chair all cracked and ripped , garbage in the bathroom

The room was good. I think my bed needs some adjustment but it was comfortable. Check in is always fast and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The breakfast room is big and spacious. However, some areas of the hotel inside needs some upkeep. The rugs around the high traffic areas are wearing down and starting to stink. Border Inn is a place I always stay at because it’s affordable.

Has a great breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
