Personal and secluded. It’s a perfect spot between big resorts and it felt like returning home when being out and about. Gardens are very attractive and maintained. The restaurant has excellent position and there are chairs and tables on the boardwalk which we used every day. Better off than the majority of larger resorts during the redevelopment because the pool is set back and within a closed in garden area, but you can still see out to the ocean. The photos are accurate. We ate at the family-run Warung Budi Ayu . The duck betutu and hospitality are worth a stop in candidasa.

The massive redevelopment project means heavy equipment all along the shoreline. It will be fabulous for the area in a couple years time, but for now if you just want to lay on the beach in front of your accommodation ..go to another area with your hard earned holiday time and money. Tiny bit of sand at very low tide and a no swimming sign?? The property looks lovely but is in need of some brightening up on the timber work.

The location was ideal for us, right on Sengdiku Beach and only 3km from Candidasa. It has an authentic Bali feel to it with beautiful gardens. Breakfast was good with a good range of choices, as was lunch and dinner. The service at Nusa Indah is absolutely sensational, the staff are so welcoming, helpful and super friendly. Nothing was too much trouble if assistance was required. It was wife's 70th birthday while we were there and without asking the staff made her a special birthday cake, she was delighted. P.S Try the pork ribs they are mouthwatering and the home-made ice-cream is gorgeous.

At the moment there is a beach project taking place in front of the bungalows, the construction of a beach side walkway extending for approximately 6km so there was a fair amount of noise. However, when this is finished, we think it will be an asset to the resort as it will offer a much quicker walk into Candidasa along the waterfront. On a positive note, management offered us two complimentary meals to compensate for the disruption. which was really appreciated.

A chilled vibe in this small (6room) boutique hotel right on the beach tucked in between 2 very busy large hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests. Rooms were basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The onsite massages was very popular.

Lovely boutique accommodation set between 2 larger resorts. Good snorkelling out front (but be careful of strong currents/rips). Casual, friendly atmosphere with a restaurant and pool in a beautiful tropical setting. Quiet location, can walk to restaurants in 5 minutes.

Occupant of the 2nd bedroom had to walk through 1st bedroom to get to the bathroom/toilet. Not a big deal though - I'd gladly stay here again

Frühstück war überteuert und nicht besonders lecker. Die Küche im Restaurant war bei nicht asiatischen Gerichten überfordert. Der Zugang zum Meer ist noch möglich, ein Strand gibt es aber nicht mehr.

Nice boutique holiday on a spectacular beach, sitting in between two big hotels that provided the facilities we needed (dinner, entertainment).

There is nobody in charge there. Our shower drain was mostly blocked but we didn’t even report it because there wasn’t anyone to report it to, so we just put up with it. The on-site restaurant is sub-par, so we just went to the big hotels next door to eat and they were excellent. We often found animal droppings in our unit (probably falling through the rattan ceiling).

Visiting to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Many of our friends were staying at the bustling Candi resort that oddly surrounds this little gem. Essentially it is a small restaurant with a strip of secluded bungalows. Set in pretty gardens. Right on the ocean, this is much simpler, cheaper and more peaceful than its neighbour. We had a couple of issues with a broken light etc and they couldn’t have been quicker to fix them. Attentive, cheerful, friendly but not invasive: the staff are great. If you enjoy racing for sunbeds in the morning you probably won’t like the place…We loved it.

The place was exactly as the photos suggest. We were in suite 1, which had the view of the beach and the pool. It was idyllic, especially waking up early in the morning, sitting on our porch drinking that delicious lemongrass and ginger tea that was provided each morning, watching the sun rise. There are also a lot of options for restaurants if you don’t feel like sitting at the restaurant at the hotel. Behind the hotel to the right are a number of restaurants and coffee shops.

There is litter in the water which detracts from a lovely beach.

I must say that the stay was great! This small seaside boutique hotel offers a few nicely decorated, super clean, and spacious rooms. There is also a lovely pool, lush garden, and beachfront. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast. We loved the location.

The only significant drawback was the entrance door to the property. It was very small and had dangerous features above the door, which we often bumped our heads into. Sometimes it was quite painful!

I love this little hidden gem because the staff is so sweet and friendly. It is located on a lovely beach and very easy access. The restaurant is quite good and the pool area is also very beautiful. I felt like Cleopatra walking i to the pool! The rooms are very comfortable, clean and aesthetically pleasing with all amenities and good a/c. Also, they bring you your choice of either ginger tea or black tea every morning and leave it on your front porch sitting area. There is also a spa which I didnt use.

Beautiful boutique property with only 6 rooms nestled between larger resorts right on a beautiful swimming beach. Staff were amazing and friendly. The rooms were impeccable and comfortable. We loved the small touches like the urn of tea placed on our veranda each morning. Great food at the on-site restaurant and lovely setting in the garden for massages.

Not easily walking distance from Candidasa centre but not too expensive for a taxi.

It was a lovely surprise to find a beautiful arrangement of flowers by my bed. The tropical gardens were stunning and the pool area was beautiful.we loved the sound of the sea. I had some spa treatments and highly recommend the massage and facial.

We would have liked breakfast to be included and the food was disappointing but we found a fantastic restaurant nearby

This review is about their incredible Crispy Duck. I did not stay there. the restaurant is open to the public and part is overlooking the beach. The highlight is their incredibly well-known Crispy Duck. OMG its extraordinary. I have lived in Indonesia for 30 years but this duck is wayyy off the charts. An imported duck so lots of succulent meat, it's 'secretly' prepared, apparently, so it's super crispy and grease-less. They cook fresh every day and was told the last process is to let the duck fat drain so it's very crisp. Can even eat the bones! Had the Vegetarian spring rolls entree (3 large portions) which were delicious, as was the prawn. We ordered 6 potions of the duck for the next morning to take home!

This is a small boutique hotel nestled in between two Candi Beach resorts. Old Bali charm. We liked garden and small restaurant. There is a spa (massage) area as well lovely little beach in front. Small and clean space, comfy beds.

Nusa Indah is a lovely small Balinese style resort directly on the beachfront. Lovely outlook & very happy with our 2 bedroom villa overlooking the pool & beach. We loved the traditional style & beautiful lush gardens. Would stay here again.

The shower head was not properly working and was not fixed and also the curtains could be in better conditions. Moreover the water smell what a bit weird.

The hotel is a small property with not many bungalows. The pool is a lovely oasis.

There is not much to do from the property if you don’t have transportation. There is a boardwalk that only goes to the properties adjacent to the property, so not much can be walked to. Also, the tide is high until about 3pm - so there is no swimming during most of the day in the sea. If you want to have a super simple stay, this is your place. If you want to be walkable to dining snd shopping, this is not the place for you. Also, get a bungalow close to pool/sea so you can hear the waves.

Perfect location - close to good cafes and restaurants right around the corner and right in front of the best beach. Private bungalows - cleaned regularly - good bathroom - nice pool.

In villa big room, cozy bathroom and big terrace where stuff every morning brought fresh coffee and decorating with flowers. Stuff really helpful and polite. We stayed in the fabulous villa, Rumah Isah, which is also managed by the hotel. There is no word to describe this villa apart from heaven. The villa is fantastic: very private, great design and local decoration , the pool is long and made with beautiful tiles which give it a nice green colour. The white sandy beach close to the villa (literally 10 seconds away) is protected by a reef making it very safe and quiet, which is quite rare in Bali. The water is transparent and turquoise blue. As villa guest, you also benefit from hotel services like daily villa and pool cleaning. The breakfast is served at the little lovely hotel right in front of the beach. The restaurant offers a very tasty and local cuisine (but also some western food including a great Cordon Bleu) made with super fresh ingredients! Can’t finish this review without highlighting the exceptional staff: maids, waiters and manager will do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They are efficient and very responsive. Thanks to all of you, we already miss you 🥲

Original Bali experience with immaculately clean and beautifully presented rooms. Stunning fresh flower bouquet and orchids in the room. Lovely pool and fanastic location right by the sea. I had a problem with wifi so the Manager set up a whole new repeater for me on his day off. Massage bale onsite which was a treat. Staff were fantastic and very helpful. Goregous little restaurant but double check hours when attended for food and drink. Defintiely would come back to this little piece of paradise.

Quiet place that is really close to the beach so you can listen to waves when falling asleep. Very nice and hot shower. Very friendly staff.

Wonderful place and very nice people

We spent 5 days here as a family (6 year old twins) and it couldn‘t have been better. We stayed in Villa 1, right next to the pool and 5 steps away from the restaurant and the sea. There was a thermo of tea on the terrace early every morning, so we enjoyed a nice cup everything morning looking out to the delightful tropical garden and the sea. Food was great - good choice, excellent taste, even the spaghetti that the kids wanted were really tasty. They have a nice massage pavillon and we had a massage most days. The kids loved the pool (small one were they could splash and bigger one for swimming) and we also swam in the sea. Local kids play at the beach sometimes in the evening and it‘s nice to get a glimpse of local life. We had two bedrooms, the main one very big with a spacious bathroom, the second one smallish but more than sufficient for the kids. I was in Bali 20 years ago and loved those guesthouses with their lush gardens and friendly locals. The feeling here is much the same, just a lovely upgrade in terms of amenities!

Mir hat die Unterkunft gut gefallen. Man muss wissen, dass sie etwas abseits von Allem ist (was auch immer allem heisst...). Die Zufahrt ist etwas umständlich. Leider hat es auch nicht wirklich eine Auswahl an Warungs in der Nähe, die Nächste ist über 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Essensauswahl im Restaurant war für mich sehr mager - 3 Menüs, wobei eins mit Fisch und eines Vegetarisch. Und das Menü mit dem Hühnchen passte mir nicht ganz, nicht dass es schlecht war. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer ist OK. Hat keinen TV, brauchte ich aber sowieso nicht. Aber ein kleiner Kühlschrank wäre trotzdem ganz gut gewesen. Es war sauber und wurde auch täglich sauber gehalten.

Stayed here a few times. Right on the beach, good food but staff could be upskilled a bit. Kitchen was always happy, but sometimes hard to get the attention of wait staff. The bungalows comfy enough, but bathroom very wet, which was not ideal, due to no dividers/shower curtains. Unfortunately groups got precedence over inhouse guests.

Restaurant is situated on the beach front, went for lunch and had our best meal whilst in Candidassa. The location is beautiful, food delicious and beautifully presented, the cocktails are also worthy of a mention. Well worth a visit

Just beautiful! Well worth a visit! Nusa Indah Bungalows is truly an intimate, ideal place. The rooms are lovely, the gardens are outstanding, the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. I had the BEST Nasi Goreng ever, not to mention the home-made ice cream...it was mouth watering! Great pool and just a few a steps down to the beach is a real bonus as well...we absolutely loved the beach! It really is a must-do whilst in Candidasa. We are very grateful to Joshie, the Manager on duty, for his warmth and hospitality. Terima kasih

Wonderful relaxing break. Accommodation right on a sparkling beach. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and quick to help if needed. Meals delicious and the view a million dollars. "Flat Out" boat tours booked at the resort for snorkling, fishing, Manta Rays, and touring the island was amazing! "Helly" around the island drive was excellent, stopping at Mushroom Bay for lunch and a swim. Helly spoke very good English and explained many sites. Hotel staff will book him for you. Vince and I are looking forward to returning and will definitely be staying at Nusa Indah Bungalows on Lembongan.

We theoughly love Lembongan for its more relaxed atmoshpere and Nusa Indah added to the experience. Pool and bar almost right on the beach made for some beautiful sunsets and afternoon swims. We found the food a little ordinary and preferred to visit other favourite warungs on the island. All staff are friendly and the rooms comfortable clean and cool with good air con. The only complaint we had was with the hotel arranged snorkeling with Captain Flat Out. At approx $20 AUD per person it was priced well but unfortunately all equipment was either broken, leaking, mouldy or a combination of all 3. I missed swimming with the mantas as the hair band holding my snorkel to my goggles had broken and was trying to rejig the thing. When the whole family of 5 finally managed to get into the water at the second stop three of the five sets of goggles were leaking that much water we spent more time emptying them than under water. Upon my first jump from the boat into the water the mouth piece fell out of my snorkel before i even pulled the goggles over my eyes. I used it without as i didnt want to miss yet another snorkel spot but upon going back to boat captian flat out was rather rude and demanded we pay for it. We refused as they were already broken. Captain flat out continued to ring the hotel after the trip demanding the money to which we still refused. I suggest to locate your own snorkelling and not organise through hotel. Otherwise we thouroughly enjoyed our stay.

Set right on the beach the resort is attractive, well placed with a low key pool and bar area. The food is adequate for the price if somewhat overcooked. The room was spacious with air conditioning but there are no extras, no fridge, no kettle but you can order coffee to your room. It's a great spot to explore from. The staff are friendly and amenable. Wifi is very weak and unreliable. I'd definitely go again if I was on a budget holiday.

Not bad, not great. A bit early checkout time. Great location but need to go to Dream Beach for exiting swim. The beach at the hotel was bathable but not great. Great service they help with everything. By the way Lewis Hamilton works in the bar, can you spot him?

I would highly recommend Nysa Indah for dinner and drinks. The food is affordable and fresh. You can have dinner and drinks with a stunning sea view! The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. They made us feel welcome from the get go. I would love to come again and would advise any traveler visiting Candidasa to pop in at Nusa Indah.

I expected to spend 4 nights here, but couldn't bring myself to leave after those days and ended up staying a week. I found this to be the perfect balance of an escape from the noise of south Bali while still having access to things going on. I visited in the rainy season and had only one real day of rain, although it did rain around dinner about 1/2 the nights. The food is great, the staff incredibly gracious and friendly. I borrowed the bike on a regular basis, both to cycle into the nearby city and to explore the villages and other areas. One of the days the management arranged a walking tour of the rice patties, it was a small adventure with amazing scenery and a guide who was up for exploring the little side trails and small "waterfalls" along the way. For me, this was one of the biggest highlights of my visit to east Bali. The rooms were also really nice, the bed was comfortable, everything very clean and comfortable temperature. Whether I was reading by the pool or on the porch I found it so easy to relax. If I could change anything it would be to extend the walkable beach... The beach exists only at low tide and is fairly small. It's very pretty though, and the sunsets over the bay to the west were great (when it was clear enough). I would certainly go back here for relaxing, the traditional food, and the gracious service.

We stayed two nights in this little paradise. The familiar atmosphere makes you feel at home right after your arrival. Staff around the General Manager Wayan is always helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautifully located with direct ocean access. You can have your breakfast/dinner with a spectecular ocean view. People in the area of Candidasa are really friendly and don't hassle you like in Kuta, Seminyak or other touristic places. They just want to have a chat with you and don't see you as a "walking wallet". If you want to go snorkeling, ask Wayan for assistance. He will get you a special price going to the Blue Lagoon. You should also do a tour to the Water Palace of Tirtagangga and maybe some more snorkeling in Ahmed (Hotel will organize a transport for you). Also really good food at the small Warung near the hotel (owned by Wayan's wife) We cann fully recommend this beautiful, familiar hidaway!

A nice little hotel to stay on bali. It has 8 Bungalows, it’s own little Restaurant with delicious meals, a small pool an is very close to the sea. Massages in their garden help you to relax and enjoy. The Hotel is owned by a german couple (Living in Germany, not there) and operated by very friendly balinese who make you feel very welcome. The Manager Wayan helps you to plan any trips and a driver for daytrips is available. There is a small library of books (mainly german) available which you can lent (for free) as there is snorkeling equipment. WiFi Internet access is available, which works fine. The drive from the Airport is about 2 hours, to ubud it is about 1.5 hours. Prices are very attractive, check out the webpage if you are looking for a place to relax. It is not a place for party-animals, though.

My wife did love the place. But with all the things on offer its hard not to rate it very good. We did get the 5 Euro bikes and that makes you very independent. Its not to bad to drive in Bali as all people on the road are very respectfully. You can do from there all the thing you want to do in Bali. I believe my wife will take us back there one day. Nusa Indah is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at for a number of reasons: - Location excellent and right on the "beach" - Staff helpful, friendly and always smiling - Meals were great - Lots of activities on offer - Close to Candidasa for shopping or other restaurants - The best massage I have ever had!! And such good value for money - Really nice snorkelling close bye - Scooter hire on offer for Euro 5 per day to discover the island and independently get around We both got much needed R&R at Nusa Indah and recommend this as the best spot close to Candidasa. I'll be back :)
