The bedrooms are fantastic really funky trendy boutique design totally different to the exterior of the hotel and the reception/public areas which look totally rundown

Es un hotel que necesitaría una reforma, nuestra ventana que daba a la calle, no cerraba bien, el suelo crepita cuando caminas y te hacen pagar 6 libras por habitación si quieres dejar la mochila al hacer el check-out.

Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist sehr praktisch. Positiv war außerdem, dass uns nach erneuter Beschwerde am zweiten Tag ein anderes Zimmer angeboten wurde.

Leider war besonders die erste Nacht in Zimmer 105 sehr unangenehm. Das Zimmer war extrem warm und ließ sich kaum abkühlen. Das Fenster konnte nur gekippt werden, direkt davor befand sich jedoch eine sehr laute technische Anlage, die regelmäßig ansprang. Hinzu kamen ein deutlich in die Jahre gekommener Zustand, Schimmelspuren sowie eine nicht funktionierende Lüftung im Badezimmer. Enttäuschend war auch, dass wir unsere Probleme bereits am ersten Abend angesprochen haben, zunächst aber keine Alternative angeboten wurde. Erst nach erneuter Beschwerde am nächsten Morgen konnten wir in Zimmer 112 wechseln. Dieses war etwas angenehmer, allerdings ebenfalls hellhörig und auch dort funktionierte die Badezimmerlüftung nicht. Am Vorhang war eine deutlich sichtbare Staubschicht vorhanden (siehe Foto). Für ein oder zwei Nächte auf der Durchreise aufgrund der zentralen Lage noch in Ordnung, für einen längeren oder erholsamen Aufenthalt würden wir das Hotel nach unserer Erfahrung jedoch nicht wählen.

I had a really big room, comfortable king bed, modern furnishings, bathroom with over bath shower. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I paid extra for breakfast. What great value for money, good quality branded produce for starters; a self-service, followed by freshly prepared hot food, waiter served.

I’m in two minds here. The hotel in the city centre is perfectly situated for getting around as busses and trams to all areas are a minutes walk away and there’s a taxi rank just outside. As for shopping all the main stores are within easy walking distance. However, the area does attract beggars at night. For me this was no problem.

Not much, if was awful. The water pressure was good in the shower.

It was smelly, water stains on the walls, noisy, I didn’t feel safe. The bed was uncomfortable, the springs were digging into my back. When I asked for a room change because the smell made me nauseous.they refused to find me a different room. I could hear the next room using the toilet.

Aside from the initial issue that I had with access to the room, everything else was fine. I wasn't sure about tea and coffee facilities. As I am visually impaired, but that was resolved as I was out quite a lot of time.Anyway

There wasn't really anything that I didn't like the location was excellent and access was easy enough. The and the only other slight issue I had was the window opening as it did not seem quite as snug, but I did not attempt to adjust it too much as the temperature was okay

When lying in bed the slightest move would make the bed creek so ended up moving the bed and putting the mattress on the floor

The bathroom needed updating and took 10 mins for the cistern to fill up and didnt know there was a pub called the pigeon and rat right behind us so was a bit noisy until after midnight

We stayed here before travelling to the airport by train from Piccadilly station. Extremely convenient for the city centre and all transport links.we had a great room at a very affordable price. You just can't complain for the money paid. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We always enjoy our stay in this hotel! The price is very good and the central location ideal to explore our favourite parts of the city. The team is also always lovely.

The breakfast was decent.

It was unclean. This caused my allergies to react and I broke out in hives. The bedding and towels themselves were freshly laundered, but the lack of cleanliness was a lot deeper than surface level. It smelt awful and it made it near impossible to sleep. There were homeless people lounging in the exterior doorway multiple times, which was intimidating.

Convenient location, helpful staff, decent room, great price, and the breakfast was very good value — plus there was a nice variety. The pancakes with maple syrup, berry compote and greek yoghurt was delicious.

It wasn’t great having to pay to leave our bags in storage.

Дуже близько до залізничної станції Picadilly.

Вікно було зламане і не закривалося до кінця(між рамою і вікном я могла вмістити свої пальці), і через те що моя кімната виходила на паб - вночі було дуже гучно (особливо коли отримували доставку). Розеток біля ліжка не було, а usb у світильниках біля ліжка не працював. Чистота - задовільно, але можна краще. Біля ліжка на коврі було чуже волосся, на деяких рушниках було видно плями (хоча рушники і були випрані).

Hôtel très bien situé, proche du centre ville à 3 min, gare de Picadilly à 10 min et 20 min de l’ao arena. Facile d'accès cela permet de pouvoir rapidement faire un saut à l’hôtel si besoin. Différent choix de petit déjeuner possible inclus dans la réservation. Tout est disponible dans la chambre, prise usb, ventilateur, table à repasser, sèche cheveux. L’hôtel a du vécu mais pour 2 nuits pas d'inquiétude.

Peut être le manque d'opacité des rideaux mais pas gênant lorsque l’on est fatigué. Attention la location de parapluie est payante ainsi que la consigne de vos bagages

Friendly staff, however, could have done more as on arrival lift was out of order! Three floors + cases. Steep steps to hotel, no visible sign for accessable entrance. Night time, vagrant on outdoor steps, could listen in to request for door to be opened, eg room no and name.

The rooms where to warm and only a small fan available.. and no plug sockets near the bed only could charge 2 items at a time and they tried to put us in the 5th floor with no lift available when my son is very asthmatic.. they also would not store our bags when leaving

This is excellent for a budget hotel. Minutes walk away from Manchester Piccadilly. Breakfast includes fruit, cereals, yoghurt, basic bread to toast, coffee machine, cheese and ham etc etc. - or a cooked option if you want to order. Kettle and teabags/milk also provided in the room. Comfy and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Wifi was a bit awkward to log into on the laptop at times (fine on the phone) - but usually a switch-it-off-and-on-again sorted that out.

£6 charge to leave your luggage after you check out is not great! But if you consider what it would add to the room per night across the course of your stay, it's not too bad.

Et lille værelse, med et lille vindue, på 4. etage, dårlig luft, meget varmt ( selvom der kun var 17 grader udenfor) vi havde en fan kørende hele tiden, udsugning på badeværelset var i stykker, så luften var fugtig, dette klagede vi over, og svaret vi fik var at der var nogle værelser hvor udsugningen skulle skiftes, det kunne vi jo ikke bruge til noget. Vi har boet der før hvor vi havde et meget bedre værelse, derfor valgte vi det, men det var så sidste gang.

Location is right at the heart of Manchester and very close to stations, museums and shops.

I barely slept the first night due to the noise. The floors are so creaky you can hear every step anyone makes and because it’s night time it’s amplified. The linen and room had a strange odour in it which was very off putting. Bathroom shower was mouldy around the bottom and shower head was leaking badly. Sink taps are too tight so when you push down it spurts everywhere with great force that everything gets soaked. The decor is in need of renewing as all round the hotel there was paint peeling off and loose tiles in the bathroom

Unfortunately thee one lift broke down on my last two days, seeing as my mobility is not great this is the only reason I didn't give it top scores.

No aircon at all let this stay down especially when it's really hot weather the windows were the length of the room but only one window would open about an inch as it had a piece of wood screwed across, they had a fan in the room but it only blew the hot air around

The hotel is located on Piccadilly gardens so walking distance from Piccadilly train station and near a tram and bus station. The room was very large with a big double bed, coffee/tea facilities in the room, a desk, a hair dryer, an ironing board. Breakfast was quite good for £13.50 considering you get a buffet and a cooked meal of your choice from their cooked breakfast list. quite a good price for the location and size of the room.

Unfortunately the lifts were not working for the 3 days I was there (and i saw similar comments from others from different days), two lifts breaking down at the same time and not only during my visit: coincidence or poor management? There are also steps to access the hotel to reach the ground floor lobby, reception and stairs to access the breakfast room. However, the worst was how filthy the windows (beyond being dirty and some being broken) and carpet (stains everywhere) were (see the pictures). The bed was quite high and I had to hop into the bed and I am 1m73. On the second day when they cleaned my room no toilet paper or shower gel were given. so mixed feelings.

The location of the hotel is in a busy area of thecity and there was a lot of noise from outside. The windows were not double glazed so trying to sleep was very hard. Also customers on the next floor could be heard moving/walking about and open/shut doors.

Location amazing. Most of the staff stupendous. Hats off to the cleaning staff for making the most of what they could very polite a happy to help.

The room was awful. Borderline health violation, upon checking in we got to our room an noticed it’s a box room no window that’s fine my mistake, however the entire hallway of 20+ rooms was hot and not heat it was humidity. There was no airflow. Then coming into the room which was a box the bathroom extraction fan broken so every inch of the room was damp. The internal room ventilation broken. So imagine a hot gym box sauna then sleep an get ready in this. We spoke to management who replied isn’t there a fan in there which there was then I had to explain the science behind dead air an oxygen levels to which his response was contact booking.com they booked your room. Which I did a due to it been fully booked no alternatives available I’ve never slept somewhere where I was genuinely worried to not wake up. When rooms were been cleaned the following day the amazing cleaning staff propped open the 3 big draft an air blocking doors open an let the corridor breathe so the exit of the rooms was the absolute most delightful experience I’ve ever had. AVOID AVOID AVOID. our only solution was an immediate cancel with a concert a couple hours away so we made do and survived the stay but this is the last time I just book a hotel. Bear in mind it wasn’t cheap it was £125 for the night an other options were substantially cheaper. Never sleep here

The hotel was easily accessible from the train station and all of the staff were very friendly and happy to help.

Not the fault of the hotel but unfortunately due to the location being close to main routes and our room being at the front of the building. It was very loud late at night and very loud early morning. The mattresses were very firm and uncomfortable

Staff were lovely and accommodating, located right in the middle of town with access to practically every amenities you can think of.

The room was not as listed - it was old/dated with smells on the curtains. Tbed was uncomfortable, the carpet has lots of hairs everywhere, I found some spiders too, the hallway smells musty and the walls are so thin that I had to tell the people next to me to keep it down as they were shouting in the corridor. And the lighting in the room was just terrible.

It’s getting tired looking and the rooms need decorating and fixing.

The room was decent, looked quite old so not amazing but okay.

When I went a few days ago, the lift was broken and my room was in the 4th floor!!! I am not very fit, so this was terrible for me. Moreover on the second day my key card stopped working so I had to go down, get it fixed and go back up :( . And the staff scolded me for having the card close to my phone (which apparently was the reason for it not working), but they hadn't told me to not do that. Also, when I arrived I asked if I could leave my backpack there after the check out, since I had a visa appointment in front of the hotel the next day and they don't allow you to bring big items. They said yes. Next day I am leaving 15' before my appointment, and they tell me I have to pay SIX POUNDS for leaving my backpack. I could have found a locker for less than that, but unfortunately I had no time anymore to fix this and I paid. During my stay I spoke to 3 different people in reception, all very rude and not empathetic. I also spoke briefly with two women in charge of breakfast and a man in charge of cleaning, they were very nice.
