DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront

The breakfast was okay. I think for the price, the coffee could have come in a larger cup. I appreciate the courtesy of the staff.

Doubletree was my first choice, however, the decor and smell of the rooms and hallways were a little off. They have a mildew smell. I want Doubletree to do much better.

Hotel is very dated. Looks like Hilton bought a no name hotel and slapped their name on it. Tv was smashed, safe did not work, phone line was not functioning. Had 3 cockroaches in my room over 4 days.

Air con unit in room very loud on last 2 nights, had to pay extra for parking, on check in the staff on reception was not particularly welcoming and didn't provide any information other than - "take a photo of this information sheet"

Very nice and we love our room the staff is so friendly, helpful and fast check in. Really loved the breakfast buffet and the waitress is so friendly and nice, I felt home, Tess makes the best Latte ever!!!

That bad smell that comes from the carpet, it needs to be change, and the sheets were not cleaned had some disgusting spot on it.

This was our second time staying here and it was amazing! We loved our corner room, the ocean front view wa spectacular and the true highlight of the trip. Walking right onto the beach at sunrise or sunset, and any time of day was just perfect. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and the staff was so friendly. We love this place and can’t wait to come back; it’s becoming a tradition for us!

Check in by MATT was great. Smooth! He was so helpful and really friendly. Very hospitable! The cleaning staff AMAZING!!! they turned the room over every day and cleaned it nicely! Marlin restaurant, MELANIE was amazing! So was the manager. Didn't catch her name but she often busted the table to make sure we were doing well and got all we needed! Melanie was so accommodating and helpful, patient and friendly. She did her best to always get our order in correctly for a large party that we were 5 adults and 6 kids 😆.

I think the pools could have been cleaner. Too many hair strands under water. A property like that should have cleaning more often during day.

Great location close to the beach & boardwalk. Hotel & room were clean. The bathroom was nice. Staff was very nice, they spoke to us everytime we came in the lobby. They came in everyday and made the beds & changed the trash. They had doors on every level that you could come in from the parking garage. They have 2 outdoor pools & one indoor pool with a hottub. They have Starbucks coffee on-site and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich from the Marlin Moon restaurant on the 2nd floor was really good. I could see the beach and hear the waves from my balcony. I would definitely stay again.

Room was smaller then I thought, they need more storage, bigger trashcans, and more hooks or something to hang stuff on. The charging ports weren't working very well. The balcony door was hard to open. The pools only go to 3-4 feet, wish they were deeper but overall, I can't complain.

Not clean. The whole hotel smelled like Mold

No Wi-Fi and the cleanliness of the first room. After the waiting until the next day for a new room, we found that there were bugs (roaches) in that room. So we spent the rest of our stay killing bugs. So they decided to give us free parking for our inconvenience.

The gentleman at the front desk said we did not get breakfast.

Pools cleaner

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve ever slept on. The property had a lot of nice amenities like fire each evening and plenty of places to sit outside and three nice pools. The location was excellent – extremely easy to get down to the beach quickly.

I hate to post this because I don’t want this hotel to become too crowded. Amazing location. Super clean. Amazing staff ESPECIALLY the front desk. Pool bartenders are awesome. Needless to say an amazing hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—right on the beach, offering stunning ocean views from our private balcony, and it is a quick, easy trip to the boardwalk. Our room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and we loved having the convenience of the kitchenette. The staff (A+) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. We really enjoyed the pool areas and grabbed a great meal on-site at Marlin Moon. We will definitely be back!

Need more packs of coffee in the room. Leave 2 extra bed pillows in the closet. High-top and 2 tall chairs on the balcony. These are suggestions, there wasnt anything that we didn't like.

The food at the main Daning Restaurant was amazing....the flavor, taste, presentation and portions were absolutely superb. 💯 We enjoyed Diner and breakfasts there...absolutely out of this world...definitely coming back as soon as possible. From the beginning of a stay....Guests shouldn't have to be worried about notifying restaurant staff that the breakfast is included...the system should already be prepared by room number and prior reservation arrangements. Ice and vending machines...very floor needs that...on this day and age... it's basic. There were only 2 Ice machines on the entire 8 floors of this hotel ...till now I never knew on which floor was the closest to my room. Parking....parking charges should be advised at the beginning of the stay ... it's never mentioned and at the end of the stay is surprising 😮 🙄 😒 especially if an stay is a week long.. This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Our room wasn’t ready at the advertised check-in time, and we weren’t able to check in until almost 5:30 PM. There were at least 10 other guests waiting in the lobby for their rooms as well. When we finally got into our room, it was dirty, and we even found roaches. The market also wasn’t open most mornings, which was frustrating since we were counting on being able to grab coffee before heading out. To top it off, when we checked out around 3:30 AM, the front desk agent was asleep on the couch. We had to wake him up to check out. He was rude, looked in the computer, and said he didn’t know why our charges weren’t showing. He told us he would email our receipt, but we never received it. We’ve disputed the charge with our credit card company because this experience was completely unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.

The room I was in was right next to the door that led you to the outside pool / beach. The door didn’t have a soft close so it was constant banging of the door.

All three pools available to enjoy. Close walk to the beach. Great location. Awesome deck attached to each level made it very convenient to check in and out. Lovely staff. Very well-kept public bathrooms I’ve seen.

They could’ve done a better job mopping the floors in the entryway of the room and the kitchen. Our feet/socks got black.

Liked the outdoor areas. Beach access was good. Firepit area was well set up

Hotel wasn’t as high class as expected. Stayed at another doubletree in Georgia and it was very high class. Expected the same here. This was much lower class than we were prepared for

My wife woke up and was startled by a cockroach when she walked into the bathroom. No one at the hotel apologized or recognized the awful situation this created for us. We were on a family trip with our children and had to pack up early to relocate to a new hotel, disrupting our plans. I wrote to the general manager to let him know what happened and, as an "apology", he offered Hilton Honors points (valued at roughly $100). LOL. Hilton's dismissive attitude toward this situation is shocking.

Great service - the staff were warm, hospitable, and accommodating. Fantastic restaurant Marlin Moon on premises. Location is right on the beach! Bedding was luxurious.

Our in-room kitchen was lacking some things- no cutting board or sharp knife (only flatware knife). No colander which would have helped with preparing in-room meals.

Indoor swimming pool

Front desk staff not honest regarding ocean view rooms , they claim all booked to avoid moving you to upper level . Restaurant (in first floor) has waiters that don't smile at all (specially girl that starts at 730am ) . Employees ( maintenance) bringing their family to indoor swimming pool ( wife and daughter) on Saturday at 630p ,busy time for us paying guests . Wouldn't come back there , disappointed.

The store/Starbucks cafe was not open during our stay. Due to the season, limited to weekends only.

The only negative this was pillows to soft for me and it got warm in room and a/c came on but only for a lottle bit then it would get warm again

We like this clean Hilton hotel with comfortable beds when visiting nearby Assateague. The oceanfront suites have wrap around balconies. Staff are very helpful and accommodating.

Everybody was so nice. The lady with red lipstick that works at the moon diner was very sweet!

Their was a very loud family with about 5-7 teenagers that were very loud and running the hallways up until 10:30pm.
