Millennium Hotel Queenstown

Excellent good value

Room was great, Clean and super impressed with the Bathroom. Bed was great and Comfortable with no complaints. Location was abit of a walk to the center where the shops and eateries are. but a beautiful walk never the less. the Shower! I checked out of the Crown and into the Millennium, I even pointed it out to front desk when checking out that it was definitely more comfortable than the Crown Plaza.

The Breakfast, it needs a few more options for Breakfast. the Bacon was too crispy and no softer options, at least have someone to oversee the Guest, especially having them come from all over the world and to be lost having no one assist can be daunting.

Staff were amazing!! Facilities and restaurant was great too. Breakfast was always nice to have. Just overall a nice stay for our trip for our little family. :)

Not sure about house keeping- we always found they didn’t take some rubbish with them each day? So we were finding ourselves having to empty our rubbish bins down in carpark everyday. At one point we rang reception about it - they said to leave the rubbish outside our door and housekeeping would take it- just not sure why it wasn’t done when they were cleaning our rooms.

Bathroom had no vanity and no place to put toiletries.It is not hygienic to place toiletries on the floor or the toilet seat. The toilet paper was not replaced when room was serviced.The restaurant was disorganised with limited menu options

Nothing really, but I have a suggestion. Perhaps the courtyard would be better if it was utilised better. Like a small bar, or fireplace through the winter that guests could sit at. Happy hour mulled wine 🥰

Location is perfect - just a very short walk into the town. Beds comfortable and room clean - staff friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was nice. Overall good value for money

Would be nice if bottles of water could be available in the room. Also maybe an info sheet of the need to know details such as check in/out times and breakfast times etc as we had to ask this

It is a bit of a climb back from town!

The property is within walking distance of central Queenstown. Laundry, buffet breaky and parking on site is very convenient for guests!

Big rooms, comfortable beds

Unfortunately during our stay one of the boilers was broken, so there was limited heating, hot water. We were notified prior to our stay but it was too late to book anywhere else. The big disappointing thing is an actually quite hard to iterate but. The body odor of the staff who cleaned the rooms was just awful.

Staff very welcoming and friendly, really felt taken care of. Ruby at reception was awesome and very helpful!

The price for a family of 4 was good, nice and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Issues with the hot water for showers.

The showers were luke warm in both our rooms which was a little disappointing. The lack of any ski/boot rooms with drying facility.

Located on the right side of town to easily access The Remarkables ski area. Bus stops outside on Upper Stanley Street

No ski equipment drying room. One day our room was serviced inadequately. It actually looked they had got half way through the service and were called away to do something else. They even left the windows open (mid-winter). Follow up for this issue was inadequate.

No Hot Water in the Middle of Winter — Staff Did Nothing I stayed at Millennium Hotel Queenstown in July 2026 — the peak of winter season. After spending the entire day sightseeing in freezing temperatures, I returned to my room looking forward to a hot shower. There was no hot water at all. I went to the front desk immediately. The staff told me they "didn't know when it would come back." I asked what else could be done. Nothing was offered. No room change. No access to shower facilities elsewhere. No upgrade. No compensation. No real apology. Just "please wait" — with no timeline and no follow-up. I understand things can break. What I cannot accept is a hotel that does absolutely nothing when a guest is left unable to bathe in the middle of winter. The indifference was staggering. After this experience, I checked other reviews and found that hot water failures have happened here before. This is clearly a known, unresolved maintenance issue — which makes management's lack of preparedness even less forgivable. I have since filed a formal complaint with the hotel's General Manager, the Managing Director of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand, and the corporate head office in London. I genuinely wish I had something positive to say. I don't. I will never stay at a Millennium hotel again, and I strongly encourage anyone reading this to consider other options in Queenstown. There are plenty of hotels in this town that can guarantee you the bare minimum of a hot shower. 冬天没有热水，工作人员无动于衷 7月冬季旺季入住皇后镇千禧酒店。在零下气温中游览一整天后回到房间，发现完全没有热水，无法洗澡。 立即去前台反映。被告知"不知道什么时候恢复"。我问还能怎么办，什么都没有提供。 不换房、不安排其他洗浴设施、不补偿、不道歉，只说"等着"，没有时间预估，也没有人跟进。 设备故障我可以理解。但一家酒店在住客冬天无法洗澡时什么都不做，这种漠不关心让人震惊。 事后查看其他评价，发现热水故障在这家酒店不是第一次了。这是一个已知的、未解决的老问题——这让管理层毫无准备更加不可原谅。 我已向酒店总经理、千禧酒店新西兰总裁及伦敦集团总部正式投诉。 我真心希望能说点好话，但我说不出来。再也不会住千禧酒店，强烈建议看到这条评论的人在皇后镇选择其他酒店。 这个城市有很多酒店能保证你最起码洗上热水澡。

The staff were amazing and it was very clean and comfortable.

It’s right at the top of the hill and you have to pay for the tiny car park.

this property exceeded me and my sisters expectations for our stay in Queenstown. The staff were absolutely amazing and lovely, our room was actually pretty huge and had two extremely soft beds that were the comfiest hotel beds we've ever slept in! the hotel itself is SO CLOSE to the city centre as well for an amazing price - whenever i take another holiday from wellys oto stay in queenstown, im definitely coming back here - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Very good and clean and location is perfect

This is more of a personal preference but was expecting the sheets to be changed in the 10 days we were there.

Hot water to hotel was broken. Although staff did help by advising a nearby hotel being able to provide shower facilities. This was appreciated as was the complimenatry breakfast

We had a cancelled flight and last minute we booked this room. Our stay was perfect. The staff were so accommodating and helpful and the room was comfy, warm and in a great location. We cannot fault a thing!
