Location was great

Breakfast ! It was the same every day. We stayed two weeks and were disappointed it never changed. Also the pancake machine was broken for one week. Charging $5 extra for room service is bad form too.

Location and views were great. Bed really comfortable.

Hotel is a little dated.. nothing too wrong with anything just a little old looking. Also shower is in bath and not very high on the wall , So water came out neck level so had to bend head right back to wash hair etc. Not made for tall people obviously. 🙄

The view from our lakefront room was stunning. Walking into the room felt like a picture on the wall but it is a window.

Rooms with late view are amazing！Staff at reception was awesome! Beds are comfortable, rooms are in generous size, shower water was great！Parking was easy.

The continental breakfast is good enough for the price but don't recommend upgrading to full breakfast, the egg/sausage/bacon tastes old. It would be really good to provide butter for bread. Shower on bath could be tricky for the elders but was fine to me.

It is an old place, thought it would be kept up to date. There were no options to order a specific breakfast given and what was there was cold.

Absolutely unbeatable view (if you choose lake view but well worth the extra). Quite close to town but far enough to feel you’ve stretched your legs. Although it’s a big place, the staff were professional and very helpful.

It was quite a labyrinth to get to our room and included stairs and a lift. There are various “blocks” within the resort. The hotel did say we could call a porter. We were continually confused with the layout but a wonderful guy who was doing some painting renovations walked us to our room and directed us two other times. Wifi seldom worked. Perhaps be the block we were in was far from the lobby.

Loved our King Suite . Amazing view ! Lots of space. Very comfy bed . Did I mention the view ?!?! Very friendly and helpful staff ! Spa bath was lovely. Really nice verandah. Having parking available (at $20 a night, well worth it) was awesome .

Friendly staff, location is close to town. But, I wish I had researched better and realised the walk from town to the hotel was all up hill.

Although, it was a short walk (10-15mins, depending) to town. It is all up hill on the way back to the hotel. This made it difficult of carrying skis/boards. Ubers were easy to book though and if you are able to walk up hill and no planning on catching buses to the mountains every day it’s fine.

We had a junior suite and the view was stunning. It snowed overnight and the view just got better.

The room good do with dome updating but everything worked so not a big deal.

Although the hotel wasn't quite where I expected from the map (up a hill, 10-15 min walk to the centre of town and cafes etc, the lovely view of the water made up for this and the quiet too.)

Room 3327 had junior school toilet, lower than a standard toilet I’ve used in at least eight countries this year.

The location is easy walk into town, had car parking available and the staff we all lovely.

The building is a little old and outdated

Location is within walking distance albeit uphill on your return from shops, restaurants and cafes. Our room had lakeside views which was a bonus.

There is no complementary parking for guests, therefore you have to park on the street which can be problematic especially in high season.

Bit of a labyrinth trying to get to our rooms. Had to use more than one lift. Luckily the staff are amazing and will show you around. But still a fus when you have children and shopping

The view was great. Helpful person took our bags to our room. Central location made it easy to walk downtown. as always, the buffet breakfast was wonderful

Rooms were of a great standard and spacious and were clean and the domestic team were friendly and courteous

Pre-booked rooms including breakfast was not noted upon arrival with reception having difficulty finding our booking and restaurant struggling to charge back one bed appeared to be infested with bed bugs

All staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and warm (-5deg C outside!) Beautiful view of lake and snow covered mountains. A very easy walk to town centre. Excellent having covered car parking for $20/night.

We were disappointed with the breakfast (bircher and fruit was delicious) but the baked beans and sausages were no longer warm, however there are so many good cafes in town so lots of choices. Our favourite was the Boat Shed Cafe & Bistro.

Amazing view, quiet location, beautiful architecture, nice to have breakfast option available and reception 24hrs. Spacious rooms.

Lots of room for improvement, starting from replacing broken/rusty items around the room, breakfast food could be significantly improved (e.g. No PINK pork sausages, replacing broken food display items, etc). Bed was saggy and uncomfortable.

Good location, friendly staff, luggage storage, near to bus stop.

The bath tub and shower had hairs in from the previous guests. Sticky mark on the table. Shower pressure was very low on the first night, fixed for the second night.

The location was really good

The hotel is ‘tired’ and could do with some attention and upgrades. The worst experience of the stay was at breakfast where the food and service was average at best. We didn’t bother going on the third morning.

The view was over a garden and into another block of the complex. Location was good and the overall the facilities looked nice but we arrived late and left early so didn't use them. Parking was available for an extra $20. Room was well appointed, clean and modern.

There was a constant hum in the room and we hunted everywhere to see if there was anything that could be turned off. To make it worse the bathroom vents were working all night - we did close the bathroom door which dulled that noise. Beds too soft for us but that is a personal preference. I booked late on a busy weekend so guess the room price would have been inflated and if not the room would have offered value for money.

The location was so convenient and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We particularly liked our waitress at the restaurant. The room were large and comfy and the hot tub was amazing.

We're do it start 4 start not a chance 1- very tired and in of need a refurbishment 2-reported faulty bathroom fan and lights not working not fixed in 3 days 3- day two room not serviced ,bathroom not cleaned , toilet paper not replenished,flannels not replaced,tea- coffee not replenished, glasses cups not washed and bed not made left as we left it. 4- room not hovered,surfaces not wiped over and bin not emptied. Our overall experience was a poor one it appeared the staff were more interested in keeping the coach party's happy due to volume of guests. We booked this hotel by mistake but thought it would be ok as being 4 star but we have stayed in better 2 star ones . I would rate this no more then 2 star sorry and would I stay again no ,my wife and I have stopped in a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels and this was the worst one we have been to unfortunately. My recommendation chose a better more modern hotel in queenstown as there are plenty to choose from we booked through booking.com and paid way more then it was worth . We won't be back!!!
