Walking distance to city centre. Very nice common areas, free tea and coffee. Nice room. Everything very clean and beatiful.

Reception until about 7-9 pm.

Es gab zwei gemütliche Zimmer um Tee oder Kaffee zu trinken und zu entspannen, auch wenn man schon auschecken musste. Die Betten waren sehr angenehm. Es gab Aussenjalousien, so dass es trotz Hitze nicht heiß im Zimmer war.

Das Frühstück wäre ziemlich teuer, daher habe ich es nicht gewählt. Wahrscheinlich ist es sehr gut und üppig, aber ich und meine Tochter essen nicht so viel in der Früh.

バス停にも近くコンサート会場に行くのが便利だった。

①ハウスキーピングがホテル内にないのでタオルなど持ってきてもらうのに時間がかかる。 ②夜間レセプションが閉まってしまうため、緊急時に困った。具体的に、チェックアウトの朝の3:30出発時にボックスにカギを入れたあと、室内に忘れ物があるのに気付き、もう一人の同行者はまだカギを持ったままだったので、彼女の部屋の靴ベラを持っておりて、椅子に登りカギをひっかけて引っ張り出した。レセプションに人がいれば合いかぎを貸してもらえたのに。緊急連絡先に電話を入れたら間に合ったかどうか不明。　丁度迎えの車が来る時間だったので焦った。 なかなか貴重な体験だった。

Location was 10/10 good especially if you are doing the original sound of music tour or arriving by train. Also gave me an early check in my 1 hour. Note there is no air con but they have a fan.

The receptionist who checked me in was talking really fast so it was hard to understand especially as my first language is English. Break was good but only did it one morning. Probably more options if you go out for breakfast was not a full buffet

Für uns war alles in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war reichlich. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend.

Super Lage in der Nähe der Altstadt und vom Bahnhof, sehr sauberes Einzelzimmer, klein, aber fein. Dazu ein köstliches Frühstück in Bioqualität! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, was das schöne Ambiente noch verbessert! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für Salzburger Verhältnisse sehr gut. Ich komme sicher wieder!

Das Zimmer war i.O. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Verkehrsmäßig gute Lage. Super Frühstück. Leider ging das Zimmer auf die Strassenseite und daher sehr laut, da man die Fenster auf Grund der fehlenden Klimaanlage nicht geschlossen halten konnte.

Fehlende Klimaanlage, soll nächstes Jahr nachgerüstet werden.

Die Lage ist gut, man kommt mit mehreren Bussen in 2-3 Stationen in die Stadt/Altstadt oder läuft durch den Mirabellgarten/ an der Salzach entlang. Der Bahnhof ist auch nah. Das Hotel hat zwei schöne Aufenthaltsräume , an der Bar im "Musikzimmer" kann man sich selbst bedienen und "schreibt an". Einen Garten und Sitzgelegenheiten draußen gibt es auch. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, das Bad war in normalem Doppel- und Einzelzimmer neu und geräumig. Es handelt sich allerdings um ein eher "gemütliches" Hotel mit altem Charme und Anstrich. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel zu einem vernünftigen Preis zur somnerlichen Festspielzeit! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Über das Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, da wir immer auswärts mit Freunden gefrühstückt haben.

C’est établissement m’ont voler et m’esscroquer 300 € sans aucune raison, il m’accuse que j’ai fait une tache sur le mur et que les produits d’entretien coûte très cher. Alors c’est strictement faux. - Steep stairs at the entrance which one needs to climb with luggage before getting to the reception the elevator. - Hotel garage is not in the hotel building, but somewhere else. - No possibility of having breakfast or any meal in the hotel. - No minibar/minifridge in the room. - Somewhat unkind reception staff. - Problems with getting separate invoices for multiple rooms. - Fully charged first night despite flight cancellation, with no flexibility.

Die Lage ist für einen Salzburgbesuch ideal. Die Bar zur Selbstbedienung und der Plattenspieler zum Selbstauflegen und das Wohnzimmer sind wirklich etwas Besonderes, was man sonst nicht antrifft.

Im Zimmer war es von der Hitzewelle her noch relativ warm. Die Kosten für das Frühstück laden dazu ein, zum Bäcker um die Ecke zu gehen.

Das Hotel entspricht nicht einer 4Sterne-Kategorie. Keine Klimaanlage, das ist nicht akzeptabel. Die Ausstattung war sehr dürftig. Ein Teppichboden entspricht auch nicht mehr den heutigen Kriterien.

Rooms were very clean, nicely appointed and had just the right amount of space and amenities to meet traveler’s needs. The music room sitting area was a treat with a large array of classical music albums to select for listening pleasure. And the many options for refreshments (coffee/ tea to mineral water to wine) made for a lovely offering at the hotel. The staff were relaxed while managing to meet all needs of travelers. Would absolutely recommend!

I missed the free cancellation deadline and explained the reason: the person travelling with us has a serious heart condition, needs surgery, and the weather forecast for the coming days is +37°C. In my practice, this is the first hotel that has been so strict and unwilling to make any exception in such a situation. Three days before arrival, I contacted the hotel and requested a cancellation, but they refused to meet us halfway. The fan did not solve the problem. We had to book another hotel for my friend. At night, the temperature in the room was +30°C or even higher. I understand that I missed the free cancellation deadline by half a day, but the hotel could have shown some understanding, considering the guest’s health condition.

The hotel was clean.

The single rooms were tiny. They had no air conditioning & there was a heatwave and they faced the street where was was anti-social noise from night revellers & neighbours across the street playing piano until late at night & again early in the morning. Reception upon arrival & departure was unmanned. So, had to wait to check in & check out.

Nettes kleines Hotel mit schönem Innenhof und gemütlichen Aufenthaltsbereichen

Der Garten war ein Highlight in dem sonst sehr übersichtlichen Komfort für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Das kostenlose Kaffee- und Teeangebot war oft schon vor 18 Uhr abgeschaltet. Genau zu der Zeit, wenn man von einem Ausflug zurück kommt. Schade! Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und dennoch nachts relativ ruhig. Frühstück für 24 Euro hatten wir nicht gebucht.

Das Hotel sieht etwas rustikal und älter aus - vor allem von aussen. Aber das Zimmer ist extrem geräumig und sauber. Das Personal ist auch überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kaffee ist in der Lobby sogar kostenlos und man hat alles was man braucht. Die Größe vom Zimmer Superior Doppelzimmer ist fast schon mit einer kleinen Wohnung zu vergleichen.

Das Hotel sieht schon etwas älter und sehr rustikal aus vom Stil her. Wenn man auf sowas steht passt das gut - wir hätten es uns von den Fotos her etwas moderner erwartet. War aber grundsätzlich kein Problem für uns!

We had the superior double room, which had a nice balcony. The room was nice and spacious for an Austrian boutique hotel. There was a self service bar that we just had to write down what beverage we chose and paid for at checkout. The breakfast seemed to be a little pricey at 24 Euros for the selections, although, it did offer scrambled eggs or an omelette. There was only a small fruit cup available, instead of a fresh fruit selection. Parking can be an issue as the closest parking garage was confusing. We were lucky we were there just for the weekend and we found an open spot on the street a couple of blocks away for no charge. On the weekends parking on the street is free, except residential parking is off limits.

A fabulous stay. Loved the location. Right in the heart of Salzburg and walking distance to many of the major attractions and restaurants. The hotel was very quaint and located on a quiet side street so we were able to get a good nights sleep which was very important to us. Excellent service by the hotel staff. We were very pleased and can’t think of one negative thing about our stay.

Sehr stilvoll und gemütlich. Es wird ganz auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse des Gastes eingegangen. Habe mich in keinem anderen Hotel bisher so wohl gefühlt!

Schönes kleines Hotel, ca. 15 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Freundlich, sauber und ein wirklich wunderbares Frühstück. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wenn man eine Kleinigkeit anmerken kann: Die Schiebetür zum Badebereich ist leider so laut, dass die/der Partner:in aus dem Schlaf gerissen wird. Und neue Polster mit etwas Füllung wären zu empfehlen.

Location is not bad, quiet. It’s an old hotel so it does have some charm. I am sure I booked ad it was a slightly better value than most. Salzburg is an expensive hotel city anywhere near the old town.

No Ac and no fridge in room. Front desk did store some medication that is best refrigerated, and there is a fridge in the public space that is fine to store drinks. AC should not have been a problem in May, but we were in the middle of a record breaking heat wave. Parking is a 5 minute walk.

Ein öffentliches Parkhaus ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Die Lage ist ruhig und doch sehr zentral und der Bahnhof ist auch in der Nähe. Kaffee und Tee bekommt man kostenlos.

The garden was a delightful and unexpected peaceful oasis; the lounge provides a restful area to relax with tea and coffee facilities. There is also an honesty bar with more space to unwind.

Although there was no additional cost for tea, coffee was charged for. The twin room had no mirror and although there was one in the bathroom.

Ottima posizione, pulito, accogliente. Lo staff gentilissimo. Carini i salottini dove consumare una bevanda calda oppure alcoliche in quello adibito al servizio bar. Purtroppo siamo rimasti solo una notte quindi non abbiamo usufruito della colazione e di un soggiorno più lungo.

There was a nice salon where we sat to have coffee and tea in the morning and in the evening. We found the hotel convenient to walking around the city and to the train station. The staff was very nice and communicative when we had difficulty with our arrival by train. It helped that that Elijah who was there at the time knew English and understood our issue and was able to give us suggestions for getting to town.

Sehr gute Lage, um Salzburg zu erkunden - nicht weit vom Bahnhof (aber auch nicht zu nahe ... ;-)) und nur ein paar Schritte zu Mirabell und der Staatsbrücke in Richtung Zentrum!

We found the hotel to be in an ideal location for exploring the city. It was easy to find from the airport using public transport and the rooms were good value . We did not eat at the hotel so can not comment on food.
