空港に早朝に着いてホテルへ向かい、ダメ元でチェックインが出来るか相談したところ、部屋に通してくれました。子供がいたのでとても助かりました！プールの雰囲気がとても良く、一日じゅうプールで過ごしました。立地も素晴らしく、向かいのショッピングモールに行けばレストランやスーパー、伊勢丹もあり、とても便利でした。

I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel.

If i had one request, it would be for bed pillows of various firmnesses to choose from when lounging or sleeping.

I had big expectations from Mandarin Oriental and 90% of these were certainly met. Great room and comfortable bed. Absolutely fantastic location, right near a big mall and the Petronas Towers. Fantastic service and friendly staff - they are very responsive and provide a 5-star service. Really nice gym too with a lot of equipment.

While the hotel is so big, grand and luxurious, the restaurant space for breakfast is quite tight. Tables are pretty close with a lot of guests weaving in and out. The breakfast offering is really good but it is difficult not to compare to other hotels we stayed at on this trip including in Singapore and Malaysia, which were spacious and out of this world with a 10/10 experience. In comparison to those 5 star hotels, the Mandarin Oriental breakfast is an 8/10.

Disappointing experience – Far below 5-star standards I booked a stay at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur specifically to view the Merdeka fireworks from KLCC Park. I paid a premium rate of RM1.3k for the night, which I was completely fine with paying, provided the experience matched the price tag. Unfortunately, the service and management fell far short of luxury standards. From the beginning, communication was frustrating. Every time I tried to call the operator from the room, I had to sit through a tedious automated response system and wait a significant amount of time just to speak to a staff member. The room layout was also disappointing. The bathroom lacked basic privacy, as there was no proper door separating the toilet area, making it highly inconvenient if you are sharing the room with someone else. The check-in process was disorganized. There was no proper queuing system, resulting in a chaotic lobby. Another guest cut directly in front of me in line, and the front desk staff did not bother to intervene or direct them to the back of the queue. The worst part of the stay was the crowd management during the Merdeka countdown. I had made reservations at the Aqua Cafe on Level 3 to watch the fireworks. Near midnight, the area became incredibly crowded. It was clear the hotel was not checking the entrance to verify if people were actual hotel guests or paying customers. There were families sitting at tables who had not ordered anything, using the venue as a free viewing deck. It felt like a public space rather than an exclusive guest area, completely defeating the purpose of paying for a reservation and compromising guest privacy. To top it all off, checking out was another hassle. When we went to collect our luggage, the staff took a long time to locate our bags—almost as if they had misplaced them—even though we had provided the correct luggage tags. I have stayed in many 5-star hotels that offer much better service, organization, and respect for guest priv

Your front desk manager, Daniel, was courteous and knowledgeable about the product of the hotel. He was able to explain the other outlets of the hotel clearly.

I cannot drink the soda the hotel provided for free. I called and requested a replacement with a zero-sugar drink. However, I was told that the zero-sugar drinks are chargeable. An exchange is not allowed. I would appreciate a little flexibility.

For the money spent it was not worth my stay. The food was absolutely terrible. Specifically western food. Don’t bother ordering the pizza or pasta, it’s literally seasoned with nothing. But it’s not just the western food, I went to the buffet which cost 245 MYR per person! The food was terrible, barely even room temperature warm, the only hot dish I had was a bowl of soup. For that price point barely warm food is not acceptable. There was no consistency in the food either, it was made differently every time, and I would understand if it tasted better but it didn’t. Aside from the food, the staff lacked internal communication, I was told I had not paid the deposit when indeed I had. I did extend my stay and when they collected the second payment they didn’t take an additional deposit, and then left a note in their system that barred me from ordering food and having it billed to the room. I wasn’t informed and came as a surprise when I was being asked to pay upfront at dinner (my phone was dead) and I had left my wallet in the room, so quite embarrassing. The staff were always messing up room service orders and forget about going to Aqua, you have to chase a waiter down to get any kind of service, they’re just hovering around each other laughing and chatting. I was served water in a glass that had caked on old yogurt or milk on the bottom with my room service. Also it’s listed online that they have onsite childcare available, which is not true. You have to inform them 3 days in advance if you want childcare, which is not efficient and that information is not listed anywhere for you to know. Again some staff didn’t even know that they offered childcare, I received conflicting information from multiple employees about this. I booked the hotel so I could have childcare assistance and only found out upon arrival that it’s not really available. The children’s explorer club was dingy and sad. Don’t even bother. It was definitely not a top tier experience in any way.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Mandarin Oriental. L’hôtel est vraiment très beau et son élégance se remarque dès l’entrée dans le lobby. Les chambres pourraient être un peu plus modernes, mais elles restent belles, spacieuses et confortables. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins et très agréable. Le gros plus de l’hôtel est son emplacement, juste à côté du centre commercial Suria KLCC. C’est très pratique pour faire du shopping, se balader et trouver facilement des restaurants.

Le seul point négatif concerne le petit-déjeuner : en période de forte affluence, il y a un manque de place et d’organisation, ce qui peut entraîner une attente assez longue avant de pouvoir manger. Malgré ce petit point négatif, nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et nous recommandons cet hôtel.

Perfect location — right in the center, just two steps from the shopping mall. We really loved the room amenities, and the manager Nicole was fantastic — she did everything to make us feel like a 10 out of 10.

Hotel meraviglioso, accanto alle Petronas Tower. Camere spaziose e curate in ogni dettaglio, alcune hanno la vista direttamente sulle torri. Il servizio e l'attenzione dedicata ai clienti sono davvero impeccabili. Dormire almeno una notte qui è un'esperienza da fare!

There are hotels, than there's Mandarin. The overall level of experience in terms of service, facilities, quality of the food, kindness of the personnel it's just outstanding.

The rooms air-conditioning wasn't working well so we were left feeling hot especially during sleeping time.

The swimming pool on a sunny morning was such a joy, especially with towel service, fresh juices and nice staff. The pool is on ground floor but the view is grand and very unique, calm and well appointed furniture. there was something about it that made me feel relaxed. The breakfast is very delicious and it has a variety of choices, so much that you can't try everything! It is very tasty even the coffee is freshly made and that made us happy! I hope will be come back too this hotel for our next trip to KL. It was overal one of our best experience.

There was some noise from next door( to be fair they were shouting and fighting at 11 pm!) and we could here it to some extent. I wish the doors closing didn't make a banging sound, maybe a bit of tiny piece of felt could avoid the bang at the end of door closing?

Von der Begrüßung bis zu Verabschiedung war der Service erstklassig. Wünsche wurden erfüllt, das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber. Es wurde nach der Abflugzeit gefragt und ohne Mehrkosten ein Late-CheckOut angeboten. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage und Sicht direkt bei den TwinTowers ist hervorragend.

Staff as always are fantastic and very attentive. There is a standard of service at the MO in KL that you feel they strive to meet and dont deviate from. In particular being walked to the elevator by a member off staff (I assume as part of a specific room rate), how you are greeted at the door and how you are greeted around the hotel premises. It is very elegant and driven by customer service being at the core of everything they set out to do!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The pool is stunning, and the pool staff made our experience truly exceptional with their outstanding service. Breakfast was another highlight, with an incredible selection of both international and Asian dishes, all fresh and delicious. They even got us passionfruit for my husband, which made him really happy :).

The room was psacious and had a spectacular view of the Petronis Towers. We had booked a transfer from the airport with the hotel and I can not recommend this enough. There a man to greet us at the airport and we had avery informative driver to the hotel.

The location of the hotel was close to a park, shops and train. The room size was adequate but the bathroom was small. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of food types.

Clearer signage on food ingredients. We had problems walking around Kuala Lumpa due to a lack of pavements.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below what I would expect from a Mandarin Oriental property. The reception staff were rude, unwelcoming, and not particularly helpful throughout my stay. I had booked a Corner Park View Room with a King Bed, but the room was a complete disappointment. It was dark, outdated, and felt more like a prison cell than a luxury hotel room. The towels were old, worn out, and in poor condition, which only reinforced the feeling that the property is not being properly maintained. Overall, the hotel feels very old and poorly managed. I genuinely cannot believe it carries the Mandarin Oriental name and reputation. The quality, attention to detail, and overall guest experience fell far short of the standards associated with the brand. The only positive aspect of my stay was one staff member who was exceptionally kind and did his best to make my two-night stay as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, his efforts could not make up for the hotel’s overall condition. In the end, I decided to check out early because I simply could not continue my stay. I genuinely regret booking this hotel. Rather than feeling like a five-star luxury property, it felt closer to an average airport hotel. This was one of the most disappointing luxury hotel experiences I have had.

Location was nice reducing the travel time for meetings. Room was okay and the breakfast was decent.

Room should be upgraded from the current decor. The phones in the room need to be replaced and checked prior to check in. Breakfast timing should be a bit more relaxed. A grace time till 11 am should be accomodated. Service staff at the breakfast need more training. Apart from this the stay was comfortable.

Great location as it’s right next to the shopping mall, excellent facilities (gym, sauna, pool and jacuzzi) and delicious breakfast options as well as a variety of restaurants. The biggest hotel gym that I’ve encountered.

والله صراحه اول مره اقيم فندق او مكان زرته لكن اللي خلاني اقيم اقسم بالله العظيم مجرد النصيحه لمن أراد زياره ماليزيا اولا الموقع جباااار عندك كل شي والمنطقه جدا تمام ثانيا النظافه والاهتمام صحيح ان بعض الاثاث قديم لكن والله نظيف ومريح جدا خاصه المخدات ثالثا الموظفين والله من عند المدخل إلى مسؤولين النظافه وأخص بالشكر والتقدير للموظف مهدي والله رجل واحترام وذوووق يعجز اللسان عن الوصف يساعدك ويعطيك نصايح واي شي تحتاجه يوفره ياشييييخ لدرجه انه خارج دوامه لو تواصلت معه يتجاوب اشكره من القلب

I was there 10 min before the hi tea close but the staff said the chef already close the kitchen .Same as I have late check up asking if I can come for the bagle which I love it so much but again answer is NO.

I had a wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental and was truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality from start to finish. One of the highlights was being able to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after arriving in the city. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering an extensive variety of high quality options that catered to different tastes. I was especially impressed by the team’s attention to detail. I had requested a birthday room decoration, and they exceeded my expectations by preparing the bedroom beautifully, making the celebration feel extra special and memorable. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Upon arrival, they took the time to introduce the hotel’s facilities and amenities, which made us feel comfortable and well looked after from the very beginning. Overall, the service was impeccable, and every interaction made us feel valued as guests. The combination of thoughtful service, excellent facilities, and genuine hospitality made this a truly memorable stay. I would definitely return and highly recommend Mandarin Oriental to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.

Hervorragende Lage direkt an den Petronas Towers und dem KLCC Park. -Suria KLCC und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. -Schöner Ausgangspunkt, um Kuala Lumpur zu erkunden. -Zimmer insgesamt sauber. -Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. -Nach meiner Beschwerde wurde letztendlich doch noch eine nette Überraschung organisiert. -Der Blick aus unserem zweiten Zimmer war sehr schön.

- Preis von ca. 740–750 € für 4 Nächte war aus meiner Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt. - Infinity-Pool war kleiner als erwartet und nichts Besonderes. - Zimmer zeigte Abnutzungsspuren (u. a. verschmutzte Fugen und ältere Möbel). - Bei Ankunft keine Aufmerksamkeit für unsere Hochzeitsreise oder den Geburtstag meiner Frau, obwohl beides beim Check-in erwähnt wurde. - Erst nach erneutem Ansprechen an der Rezeption wurde reagiert. - Ein versprochener Rückruf erfolgte zunächst nicht. - Erst nachdem ich am nächsten Morgen erneut zur Rezeption gegangen bin, wurde eine Überraschung organisiert. - Ein Mitarbeiter wirkte auf mich so, als würde er mir die Schuld an der Situation geben, anstatt Verständnis zu zeigen. - Frühstück mit 20–25 € pro Person für das Angebot zu teuer. - Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse hätte ich insgesamt einen aufmerksameren und persönlicheren Service erwartet. - Die Lage ist zwar hervorragend, allein rechtfertigt sie den hohen Zimmerpreis jedoch nicht. -> Insgesamt blieb der Aufenthalt deutlich hinter meinen Erwartungen an ein Mandarin Oriental zurück.
