The room was clean overall; the facilities were wonderful and staff was very welcoming!

there was no fan in the bathroom so the room got very stuffy when we would take a shower and the mirrors would fog up very badly. This is a big issue and can lead to mold growth! Also, there were some stains on our duvet cover.

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig. Man konnte im Badezimmer am Waschbecken und Umgebung die Vorgänger abzählen, weil es nicht richtig gereinigt wurde. Trotz zweimaliger Bitte an der Rezeption mit vorheriger online Buchung zum reinigen, passierte nichts. Die Angestellten waren eher genervt. Ich sollte ein Frühstück für zwei Personen bezahlen obwohl ich an diesem Tag erst um 16:00 Ihr angereist bin. Dann habe ich plötzlich etwas an der Bar konsumiert, was ich nicht getan habe. Die unterschriebene Quittung konnte das Hotel mir auch nicht vorlegen. Schließlich hat die Dame an der Rezeption den Betrag absolut genervt ausgebucht.

Fantastic hotel. It is within walking distance of shopping, dining, and entertainment spots. vibrant lobby bar and restaurant working with hospitality. The rooms are clean. They think of even the umbrellas you can rent for the rain, and they take care of you like a friend. Truly wonderful people work there, thanks to all of them!

Nous avons restés une nuit dans une chambre, puis la deuxième nuit, nous avons changé de chambre, car dans la première chambre, il n’y avait pas de frigo, la douche était inondé, des toilettes marchait une fois sur deux, et il y avait des araignées, une fois après avoir changé de chambre, une fois être rentré dans la nouvelle chambre, la chambre tenait une odeur horrible de canalisation, je pense. Bref je vous laisse imaginer l’odeur nous avons dû dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes car l’odeur était infeste. Et encore une fois la chambre n’avait pas de frigo, je ne comprends pas comment dans une chambre, il ne puisse pas y avoir de frigo ? Puis en ce qui concerne la localisation de l’hôtel , les Taxi ne peuvent pas s’arrêter devant l’hôtel, donc vous êtes à chaque fois obligé de marcher, vous êtes un peu aux alentours de Amsterdam centre, pas totalement à Amsterdam centre. vous restez quand même assez loin car en voiture on est à 15 minutes de Amsterdam centre et à pied beaucoup plus.

The bed was very hard! We asked for a mattress topper or any additional padding and they had none. There was a very thin layer almost like a comforter over the leather like bed!!! If I didn’t bring my own pillows which I put under my back I would have been a mess. If you can’t sleep on hard surface, this place is going to be a problem for you. Otherwise all else was sufficient for our 3 night stay.

Loved the hotel great location walking distance to some lovely restaurants and shops plus the flower market the lady on reception was excellent nothing was to much trouble she was very helpful Thank you.

We thought the Breakfast was very poor for the price Both chef’s the one on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th September were extremely rude.

Single room was an after thought , stuck in the top floor on the end of a hallway, small 3 ft single bed , air conditioning unit placed over the bed , which renders it useless, it was either blowing cold or hot air down on top of you in bed , unable to switch off as it started automatically all night ,most disappointing part of the stay was the I don’t give a fuck attitude by the front desk , it’s amazing how they don’t understand English went you have a complaint , I booked this hotel on the reviews and I don’t usually leave a comment but couldn’t let this slide , Amsterdam is amazing to be fair

Sauberkeit, insbesondere bei dreimaliger Reklamation keine Veränderung, sehr Laut (da der Rembrandtplatz beliebter Treffpunkt ist, Tram vor der Haustür und Veranstaltungen im Hotel selbst)

La localisation de l’hôtel était vraiment pratique et agréable, ce qui nous a permis de nous déplacer facilement et de profiter des alentours. Le style de l’hôtel est également très sympa, avec une décoration soignée et une ambiance agréable qui donnent du charme moderne à l’établissement.

Avant mon arrivée, j’avais envoyé un message afin de demander une chambre avec une douche et non une baignoire, celle-ci n’étant pas pratique pour moi. Cette demande avait bien été confirmée par l’hôtel. Pourtant, le jour du check-in, la chambre qui m’a été attribuée était équipée d’une baignoire. Je suis donc retourné à la réception pour demander un changement de chambre, mais cela n’était pas possible le jour même. J’ai donc été contraint de passer la première nuit dans cette chambre malgré ma demande préalable qui avait pourtant été validée. Le lendemain, on m’a attribué la chambre 186. Malheureusement, plusieurs problèmes étaient présents dans cette chambre : certaines prises électriques et certains éclairages ne fonctionnaient pas correctement, et la machine à café était défectueuse, rendant impossible la préparation correcte d’un café. Ces différents désagréments ont malheureusement affecté le confort de mon séjour, d’autant plus que ma demande concernant la douche avait été faite et confirmée à l’avance.

Het was op een perfecte plek! Er staat dat er geen waterkoker is maar het koffiezetapparaat is ook een waterkoker. Dus super handig!

Me alojé en n habitación superior.. de superior no tenía nada… se nota que es un hotel de muchos años, la habitación era pequeña y no tenía bañadera solo ducha, no había heladera . Piso de alfombra con aspecto a sucio y las toallas de mala calidad y pequeñas . No funcionan bien el aire acondicionado. El tercer día no limpiaron y nos dijeron que ya tuvieron una demora con el personal. Tuvimos que pedir toallas limpias y no se disculparon y ofrecieron compensación por no limpiar . Es un hotel de 4 estrellas que no lo demuestra.

The location of the hotel is the best and it helps you reach everywhere fast. The bar are is quite nice to chill around and grab few drinks. One thing to notice that our oom had a blacony and someone wihtout our permission came to the room and permanently locked it.

I had booked executive room for 6 nights. Upon arrival, there were 2 young girls at the reception who gave me a standard double room. On the 3rd day of my stay when I was leaving my room i saw another room of which the doors were open as cleaning was going on and I realised that this was the room i had booked according to the pictures mentioned in booking.com. I immediately went to the reception and told them about the situation and they told me that sometimes the pictures may vary of what you book. I insisted that I would live to have the room that I paid for and they told me i will have to check out and wait till 3pm to re check in. This made me furious and I told them that this is not cool as the mistake was from your end and I am with my wife there for honeymoon and this is a big inconvenience. After all this they moved me to the correct room but it was not cool from their end. So guests make sure you get what you booked. Also the housekeeping did not clean the toilet and the room properly.

The property was absolutely brilliant. You could not get a better location for seeing all of Amsterdam. My only criticism is the fact that it would be nice to have housekeeping in the hours of the day that you’re out so you can come back to a clean room. I know that’s impossible for every room but it was almost 6 pm and it was always before I was going out. I did address this with the staff and they did their best to accommodate.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was pleasant and quirky. The decor of the hotel was fun and unusual.

I feel like the staff can smile more and be more polite, especially the evening workers. They were quite rude in my opinion. Not what I expect from people working in hospitality. The cleaners also forgot to replace our towels in the room and I had to remind staff a couple of times to give me some.

Location is great, staff very friendly and helpful, gave a warm welcome with a drink which was lovely. Bed super comfy! Nice view out the window!

I prefer actual doors to bathrooms vs glass privacy doors is the only thing, the room layout added privacy

המיקום של המלון פשוט מצוין, יושב ממש על כיכר רמברנדט, סופר מרכזי ובמרחק הליכה לכל הנקודות השוות בעיר. ארוחת הבוקר נחמדה מאוד ומציעה את כל מה שצריך ואפילו קצת מעבר. בנוסף, נחמד מאוד שיש במלון מכונת פופקורן פעילה ומכונות ארקייד, שהילד הגדול התלהב מהן בטירוף.

למרות שהמלון מגדיר את עצמו כ-Kids Friendly, התאכזבנו מאוד משני היבטים מרכזיים שהעיבו על השהות: 1. שירות החדרים והניקיון היו מתחת לכל ביקורת. ביום השני, החדר לא נוקה עד השעה 15:00 בצהריים, מה שאילץ אותנו לשים שלט "No Cleaning" כדי לאפשר לילדים לישון שנת צהריים. כשהם התעוררו, ניגשתי אישית לקבלה וביקשתי שלפחות יחליפו לנו מגבות ויפנו את האשפה. הבקשה פשוט זכתה להתעלמות וזה לא בוצע. למחרת הסברתי את המצב וביקשתי מפורשות שהניקיון יתבצע בבוקר. כמובן שגם זה לא קרה, והמנקה הגיעה רק בשעות הצהריים המאוחרות (למזלנו הפעם היינו מחוץ למלון). כאן הגיע הקש ששבר את גב הגמל: רמת הניקיון עצמה הייתה פשוט חרפה. כל מה שעשו זה להדק מצעים, להחליף מגבות ולפנות פח. כוסות משומשות שהושארו במקום בולט בחדר לא נוקו ולא הוחלפו. כשזה המצב, אין לדעת מה טיב הניקיון הכללי, ולנו זה הפריע מאוד. 2. חוסר בציוד בסיסי לילדים. במהלך ארוחת הבוקר של היום השני, לא היה בחדר האוכל כיסא אוכל לתינוק. הצוות הסביר לנו שהמלון כולו מכיל בדיוק 3 כיסאות תינוק, ושהם פשוט לא מוצאים אף אחד מהם. זה לא סביר בשום צורה שמלון שמגדיר את עצמו מותאם למשפחות יחזיק כמות כל כך מגוחכת של כיסאות. זה היה פשוט ביזיון.

El hotel estaba bien ubicado , y el personal del restaurante del desayuno era amable .

La habitación muy oscura , el baño es muy pequeño . Considero que para el precio no es , y lo peor de todo la limpieza que deja mucho que desear , empiezan con las habitaciones a las 18 horas y no puedes ni descansar y hubo días que se saltaron la limpieza y tuvimos que pedir solo las toallas , me parece un despropósito, así se arruinan las vacaciones , pensaré mucho la próxima vez en coger el hotel con booking

the location of the hotel is excellent, an easy walk to all major tourist sites. staff were very friendly and a great vibe in the hotel, excellent breakfast.

if you want to sleep or are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. exceptionally noisy at night out on the street - music, fighting, screaming, police sirens - every night our our 4 night stay. I was not aware that Rembrandt Square is a hub for night life (my fault)- which goes on until about 5 am. Our room faced the main street even the double glazed windows didn't block out the noise.

Very close to the centre was easy to walk to anything from it, loved the little shop downstairs was very handy to grab some snacks.

The bathtub plug didn’t work so the bath wasn’t useable, you could hear a dog barking all day that was in another room.

The staff at NYX Hotel are the kindest, brightest, most welcoming staff I've met through all my years of traveling. In my youth I stayed in youth hostels,. Later in life, I've stayed in economy hotels, mid-rang hotels and luxury hotels, I've never encountered staff that is lovelier than the staff I met during my stay at NYX Hotel. My room was clean and very comfortable and the location of the hotel cannot be beat in Amsterdam. When I return, I will stay at Hotel NYX.

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel, das vor allem durch seine herzliche Gastfreundschaft begeistert. So aufmerksames, zuvorkommendes und fürsorgliches Personal haben wir tatsächlich noch nie erlebt – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an rundum willkommen und umsorgt. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch die Sauberkeit ist bemerkenswert: Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt, selbst die Hotelgänge werden mehrmals täglich gereinigt. Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt – in wenigen Gehminuten ist man mitten im Zentrum. Wir genießen unseren Aufenthalt sehr und können dieses Hotel von Herzen empfehlen!

Dommage, juste quelques petits travaux à notre étage, mais rien de bien méchant. Il peut arriver qu’il y ait des pannes, il faut bien qu’ils puissent faire les travaux nécessaires ! 😉 Un petit coup de rafraîchissement dans la salle de bain serait appréciable… mais ça, c’est surtout mon côté maniaque qui parle ! 😂

Està molt bé ubicat. Està molt bé el detall de poder agafar glaçons o crispetes lliurement. L'aire acondicionat funciona bé i s'agraeix amb les onades de calor que estem patint. L'esmorzar està força bé.

Habitació molt petita, reduïda, no s'està bé en aquest espai si s'hi han d'asseure dues persones. Les tasses, gots estaven bruts (plens de pols), i hi falten detalls a l'habitació, no hi ha penjadors, no saps on deixar jaquetes, o on penjar les tovalloles, només hi ha un ganxo petit, per exemple.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The air conditioning in both rooms was individual, and they were perfect, which is good in Europe. The room was very clean and extremely efficient, but tiny in size.

We got the standard room. The bathroom was extremely tiny, so I could barely sit on the toilet, and it was hard for me to shower, as it was also tiny (I'm 5'11", 225 lbs). The bed is not meant for two people. There's only one way in and out of the bed, so one person has to roll over someone else to get out in the middle of the night. And for the price, we expected more of the room.

Les joints de la douche sont noirs et un manque de méticulosité dans le nettoyage des détails de la chambre.

Die Zimmereinrichtung wirkt modern, ausgefallen und einladend. Die Lage ist top, wenn man die Stadt erkunden möchte und ist vom Bahnhof aus gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Das Frühstücksbuffet war frisch, vielfältig und reichhaltig. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend.

I chose this particular hotel chain because I had previously stayed at one of its hotels in Tel Aviv, so I booked this property without a second thought. Unfortunately, it was nothing like my experience at the hotel in Tel Aviv. The room’s décor felt dated and somewhat odd, and the space would benefit from renovation. Too expensive for a first-floor room with significant street noise (what made it even more disappointing was that I made online a room upgrade, only to be placed in a room on the first floor). The room had no minibar or fridge, and no complimentary toiletries were provided. One night, we had to wait until after 1 a.m. before we could fall asleep because hotel staff were outside on the street unloading carts of towels. The noise was incredibly loud. At first, we thought it was coming from the room above, as if someone were banging on the floor, but we eventually realised that it was coming from outside through the window.

La posizione è ottima, la zona è piena di locali e vita diurna e notturna. Fermata del tram a meno di 100 metri dall'albergo.

La pulizia della stanza semplicemente imbarazzante, più volte abbiamo dovuto sottolineare che la camera era molto sporca anche dopo la pulizia giornaliera. Lo staff non sempre cortese, soprattutto se chiedevi una maggiore attenzione alla pulizia della stanza- si salvano solo le ragazze italiane della reception e il cameriere presente nella sala colazione (il signore alto e molto loquace). Per il resto è da dimenticare. La stanza scelta, camera Executive, nonostante ci fosse spazio a sufficienza era scarna di arredamento. Aggiungo che, nonostante le temperatura esterna fresca, nelle aree comunioni dell'albergo l'aria condizionata rendeva gli ambienti gelidi, pertanto anche il tempo trascorso alla colazione era inficiato dal gelo dovuto al condizionamento.

Die Lage ist wirklich super, genau im Zentrum der Grachtengürtel. Vieles ist Fußläufig zu erreichen. Disko, Kino und ein Platz voller Restaurants 100m entfernt.

Das Frühstück hätte etwas mehr Auswahl bieten können, wir sind aber satt geworden. Was ich persönlich überhaupt nicht mag, sind Glastüren zum WC/Bad, hier war diese auch noch 3 mal so breit wie eine normale Tür. Letztlich ist das aber nur eine persönlich empfundenes Manko.

Insulation of the rooms was not very good, we could hear the TV of the near bedroom and their voices!

The staff were amazing. ....helpful, welcoming, good humoured.....exceptional. They answered all our questions, gave us ideas about what to see, always gave us their time and were generous in every respect.

The pillows in the bedroom were too big and deep. Otherwise all good.

Excellent location, all touristic spots are accessible by foot or public transportation. Very polite and responsive staff, especially Irina and Munir.

Me & my daughter spent a long weekend in Amsterdam in the NYX hotel...it is beautifully decorated, bedroom was gorgeous, fab location plenty of shops cafes restaurants in the area.

Very cozy and inviting common areas. Bed was very comfortable. Room, clean, comfortable and cozy. Everything was very well put together.

We came when the temp was low 70 and low 60 at night so the lack of a/c was not an issue but it could be if it was hotter. The staff had a good fan running when we arrived which that was quite nice given we were on the top floor. we also had a balcony that was lovely and accessible from bedroom and bathroom.

The hotel is only a 20 minute walk into the centre. The room was well decorated and modern. Had plenty of storage room for everything. There is a convenience shop on site (although very expensive but really handy).

You need to book room cleaning and towel change. When I booked 2nd clean and towel change it did not happen which was very frustrating (only booked the 2nd clean and requested new towels due to unexpected lady issue 🙈). Also, need more tea, sugar and only provide powdered creamer. Had to buy own milk and acquire extra sugar from McDonalds.
