Honestly everything, hotel was spotless. Every single staff member, receptionist, bar, house keeping, in charge of breakfast were lovely, polite and welcoming. The location was great, 15 mins walk from dam square and 15 mins walk for Amsterdam central. Highly recommend

The property was great, wouldn’t like to fault it.

Upon arrival they greeted me with a drink and they actually showed me to my room. It was amazing and the staff was phenomenal! Their food selection and drink selection was wonderful as well. The rooms were comfortable and the pillows were the best!

The hotel went above and beyond from the welcome drink to the complimentary water and top class service and hospitality. Tawan in the bar was particularly fantastic and a real gem. The breakfast was very impressive and good quality and great range of food

Twin rooms beds were quite narrow , would have liked showers caps to have been available in the room rather than having to ask at reception for them ( shower caps are in my view an essential)

Staff were super friendly & helpful. Excellent welcome, Bella gave us a lot of very helpful information & booked a restaurant for us. All the staff were very accommodating, polite & we felt that they would go the extra mile for us.

Quite good area near metro station (underground) - 10minutes by walk. Despite hotel is near to centre our room was nicely quiet. Even bed was comfortable. Welcome drink was also nice suprise.

We came to this hotel with my housband to make nice romantic time just two of us especialy for Bruno Mars concert and to see Amsterdam for first time. We decided nice superior room to make our stay very special, but unfortunately hotel was quite disappoining. Room was very smelly and we couldnt find out why. Like some chemicals or uncomfotable parfume smell. Even it was our mistake, we could see that breakfast was not included but in case of very high price it didnt even came in our mind to check it :-( And in hotel we have been told that proice is 25EUR per person!

The location was great for walking around beautiful Amsterdam. The rooms were very comfortable with great bathroom. The breakfast was fresh and varied and the staff could not have been more accommodating.

Breakfast is far too expensive! We popped to a nearby cafe & spent @€15-17 per day instead of the €25ea for a breakfast. Also, cups could be larger in the rooms.

It's location was good.and the staff were very helpful. Iron and ironing board in the room. Nice coffee station.it had a bar fridge.

No top sheet provided - it was too hot for duvet only. The cupboards are full of stuff. The Coffee Station, towel dressing gowns, bar fridge, it did not have much space for a 6 night stay for two people wanting to unpack. Breakfast was hit and miss. I do not enjoy luke warm eggs and bacon on a cold plate.

The hotel facilities meet a good internatonal standard. The staff is professional and friendly.

The property was modern, clean and very accommodating.

It was a bit south of the city center. Our restaurant for dinner in the north end was a 30 minute walk. Also, the bartender’s English was not great, which led to some confusion on drink orders. Both were very minor issues and we’d definitely stay there again.

The bartender was hard to understand and was not knowledgeable about drinks or how to charge for the drinks or even how to make drinks or what was available. That is my only complaint. The rest of the staff was very helpful.

Localização, limpeza, cama, ar condicionado, chuveiro, café da manhã, excelentes. Uma dica, a aproximadamente 50 metros do hotel, saindo para a direita, tem um local de aluguel de bicicletas que recomendo, a dona é muito prestativa e cuidadosa. Vale a pena alugar as bicicletas ali, por ser bem próximo ao hotel e pelo serviço prestado.

The location is hard to get to by public transport. The tram and Metro stops are not that close. The hotel dies not have any amenities like shower caps, q-tips, face wipes, etc. The rooms facing the inner court are loud with movemenrs of trash and other things.

Überaus freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück! Ingesamt ein sehr guter Aufenthalt mit wenigen Gehminuten in die Innenstadt. Das Personal war wirklich durch die Bank großartig! Es fehlt eigentlich nur eine Möglichkeit dem Personal Trinkgeld geben zu können. :-)

The lobby was very nice, breakfast was good and the staff was helpful.

Pillows were too big, canal view wasn’t worth the extra cost and the room was very dark and outdated. The location was far from everything we wanted to do.

Zeer goed hotel! Kamer was ook zeer stil, je hoorde niets van andere kamers of gang of van buitenaf. Bij aankomst heeft de dame die ons incheckte ook wat uitleg en bezienswaardigheden aan getoond op de kaart zeer handig! Zeker aan te raden! Auto geparkeerd aan Oosterdok parking. Lekker ontbijt!

Lea recomiendo habitaciones con vista al canal, es un poco más cara pero vale la pena la vista. Te reciben con una bebida de cortesía, en lo que esperas a ser atendido. Elegante y espacioso, el hotel es de primera, el servicio sin igual, el personal es muy atento, te reciben con un trago de bienvenida y te hacen recomendaciones, son súper atentos. El cuarto tiene aire acondicionado, burro de planchar, bata de baño, pantuflas, agua y café de cortesía. Hasta un chocolate de bienvenida te dejan. Cuenta con un pequeño refri. Caja de seguridad. Internet de alta velocidad, todo excelente en este alojamiento.

Está a 10 minutos q pie del centro, a 5 en bici, pero esto es una ventaja por que la zona es callada y silenciosa.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were large and comfortable. The location of the hotel makes walking around Amsterdam really easy and convenient. The buffet food for breakfast was alright.

The views from our hotel room and the actual street the hotel is on leaves something to be desired but it isn't bad.

My partner treated me to a weekend getaway in Amsterdam as an early 40th Birthday present. It did not disappoint! We stayed at the Monet Garden hotel which was absolutely stunning. On arrival, we were treated to glasses of champagne and extremely friendly staff. The room was very clean and spacious and it overlooked the hotel’s garden. Canal view would have been better but we were there to explore! It was about a twenty minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal which was a little tiring as we had been travelling and had cases with us. But once we knew where we were going, it was actually an enjoyable walk with amazing views. The absolute highlight of our trip was visiting the Anne Frank House. It was incredibly sad and eerie but definitely worth visiting. Bookings are available six weeks in advance so get in quick! The house was about 30 minutes away from the hotel but we took a cab which was around half the time. Another great highlight was visiting the Van Goth museum which is also around 30 minutes away. Not realising we had to pre book the Ice Bar, we had an afternoon free which turned out to be one of the best. We found a local zoo called Artis, about a ten minute walk from the hotel which houses elephants, giraffes, lions, red pandas and so much more! We were incredibly lucky to attend during feeding hours where we saw a family of elephants, including two baby elephants, enjoy their lunch. We did not eat at the hotel, other than a small snack called Bitterballen which is a very famous Dutch snack. They are amazing! Amsterdam is truly a beautiful city and we can’t wait to return! We will be sure to stay at the Monet Garden Hotel when we do!

A little impersonal

It turned out to be a pretty average hotel, and everything about it was pretty average. Except for the price per night.

Everything was average and ordinary: the rooms, the decor, the breakfast, the view from the window, even the street the hotel is on, the small fitness room in the basement—a surprisingly even level of "nothing special" and "not worth mentioning." Ibis style, and even that has a bit more character. But the price per night was super special, as if it were a five-star boutique hotel.

Great value and beautiful, ample-sized rooms.

At least a 25 minute walk to most the primary attractions. Not a bad thing for me, but some of my colleagues didn't necessarily enjoy the walk.

Very friendly, helpful and warm staff. Anything you asked they were happy to accommodate. Spacious and clean rooms. We had a person with food allergies with us and they smoothly accommodated that as well. We communicated beforehand and when we arrived the staff knew of the allergies. They passed all the info along to the kitchen and every morning at breakfast a lady helped us go over the food and prepared allergy safe foods for us. 10/10 recommend!

The location was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ali, in particular, was very helpful during our stay.

Very very old rooms and not quite

Modern hotel with a beautiful lobby and bar area, spacious room with canal view, wide selection at breakfast and good location close to Dam Square and the train station. Loved the champagne welcome drink and a surprise chocolate in the room.

More amenities needed in the bathroom however we discovered they were available on request.

Hotel was beautifully decorated. Everywhere was clean.

brilliant lovely hotel- great staff- fab food nothing too much trouble

Room wasn’t ready upon arrival as we came early morning. We toured the city and when we cane back our bags were in our room! Complementary Tonys chocolate and bottled water in the room was a nice touch. Location was excellent with an easy walk to center of the city. Clean, quiet and staff is extremely helpful. We will stay here again!

The reception was fantastic, made us feel welcome and helped get in touch with another couple we knew. The location is perfect for walking to all the major sites and close to a huge variety of good restaurants. The room was spacious and we had a great view of a canal with a few passing boats and even the occasional swimmer to look at. Definitely recommend this hotel.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with warm smiles. Considering that we had just finished a long journey, the complimentary drinks offered to us were a thoughtful gesture. The check-in process took only about five minutes, after which we headed to our room. Our room was very clean, functional, and comfortable. Throughout our stay, we didn’t experience any noise issues; the hotel had a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. We chose the buffet breakfast option. The variety and quality of the breakfast met our expectations, and we found it to be reasonably priced. In terms of location, the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from both the central train station and Dam Square. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Every request we had was handled promptly. Overall, considering the quality of service and the price, we believe this hotel offers excellent value for money. We would happily recommend it to anyone.
