The house is clean and comfort.

It was such a beautiful room with an incredible view of the mountains. The host was also very helpful throughout the entire process. We arrived 2 hours early and they worked with us and let us check in early which was extremely appreciated as well.

The only thing we didn’t like is that we didn’t know until we arrived that we couldn’t pay with our cards and we had to do a bank money transfer which incurred some additional fees. It was still all worth it though.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Barbara was a super host - very kind and helpful. She even gave us some homemade bread and a tart.

Eine ganz wunderbare und vor allem sehr geräumige Wohnung (zur Selbstverpflegung) mit einer ganz herzlichen Inhaberin! Wir waren für unsere Wanderungen dort - und konnten sogar immer direkt zu Fuß von der Wohnung aus starten- und würden die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen. Barbara hat sehr viele hilfreiche Tipps in Bezug auf die Wanderungen, Verpflegung und die Restaurants und macht somit den Aufenthalt rundum perfekt. Wir haben uns wirklich willkommen und wohl gefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen!

Esta muy bien equipado, trae de todo para poder cocinar y preparar comidas. También dejaron café molido para desayunar que es un detalle lindo. Es excelente la relación precio calidad diría.

No contaba con tapón la bañera lo cual es quizá una picardia, uno viene de una escalada y queres un baño tranquilo. Un inconveniente también fue que hay vecinos muy ruidosos, a la vuelta del depto sobretodo unos inadaptados que ponen música 8 horas al hilo a máximo volumen y retumbaba los vidrios de la habitación.

What an absolutely wonderful stay we had! Barbara was super responsive, and views are true from the window. We stayed in apartment 2, which is on the ground floor and faces northeast, and I'd really recommend it as you look out at mountains in both windows. Well insulated (important but not always available in other places we stayed in the winter Patagonia), excellent heating with two radiators in the living area and one each in the bathroom and bedroom. Hot water works easily and had good pressure. Everything was super clean. Feels newly renovated and it is spacious for two people, very very comfortable and felt like home when we came back. You have everything you needed to cook, including a microwave, oven, coffee maker and toaster. Tea and coffee available, it would just be good if there was some cooking oil as we were only here for two nights and didn't want to buy a whole bottle (minor). We were told by locals that the tap water in El Chalten is drinkable and very good. A super cozy bed, lots of lovely warm layers. Clean new towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided (but no hairdryer). Quiet as anything and its location sits accessible both to center and to the walks to the Mount Fitz Roy trails. We came at the beginning of July. Really not much was open, I mean literally, there's only one pub open and two equipment shops. A small grocery store and a bigger one. We were glad we took a Barbara's advice to get some shopping done in El Calafete to bring with us on the bus. Barbara can provide the number for a taxi. Although it's a 20-minute walk, there is a bit of a hill at the end and with a bit of cold, snow and ice, it was worth paying the 8000 ARS (it was possible to pay the taxi by credit card). We would 100% come back and stay here if we ever come back to El Chalten. Incredible value for money for what we paid in winter. Just double check how you will make payment as you do it on arrival rather than through the platform.

Super friendly host! Easy to check-in and very quick to respond to messages. Spacious place, all kitchen utensils one might need were there.

We stayed for a week and loved it here! The apartment was perfect for what we needed and being able to cook for ourselves was brilliant. The host kindly left us some home baked goods which were delicious. Great location with quick access to all the amazing walks and only a short walk to the restaurants / shops. Host was easy to communicate with and gave lots of recommendations. Huge thank you to Barbara and Federico when we left some documents they went out of their way to forward them on to us at our next destination, saving us a lot of time and money!

It gets quite noisy when it’s windy so a pair of earplugs is useful

Modern, very well equipped and maintained comfortable apartment with spacious living room, large bathroom and separate bedroom. Fast WIFI and effective heating. Extremely kind and helpful host - thank you so much to her. My wife and I enjoyed our 2-week stay very much. We highly recommend Aguila Mora Aparts.

First of all the hosts are amazing, very friendly and helpful . The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed and more. The location is very close to hiking trails.

The apartment was located within a few hundred metres of the walking trail heads. The windows looked out to the mountains. The apartment was tastefully appointed. Walking distance to many restaurants.

We had difficulty making initial contact with the owners.

Huge apartment, cozy, clean and with all the facilities needed for staying some days in El Chalten. Easy parking in front. Well equipped kitchen. Very friendly owner who gave us a lot of recommendations for our stay.

Slow wifi.

Exceptional host! She had crampons and walking sticks for me to borrow on my hikes. Barbara and her husband were incredibly responsive and helpful when it came to questions about the area, hikes, etc. She also baked two mini pies for breakfast upon my arrival. So sweet!

Location was really great (steps away from the trailhead for Laguna Torre) with most places within walking distance. The host was very helpful and friendly as well. It was a nice surprise coming home from a difficult hike and having an apple pie waiting for us.

Barbara was such a fantastic host - responsive, sent us recommendations, helped us store our bags until we could check in, even brought a little apple tart up! The apartment is really lovely, with good kitchen facilities, comfy bed and easily controlled heating. The little touches make all the difference, with jams, butter, oil and salt already provided in the kitchen for example. We were really happy with everything!

Only teeny thing to flag is that it can get noisy when it’s windy so worth having earplugs if you’re sensitive to sound when you’re sleeping!

The apartment is very nice and has wonderful linens. The rules are very strict though- we arrived at 12:30 in the midst of a heavy snowstorm and we were told we could leave our bags but could not check in until 3. There was no lobby or anything to sit in so we had to leave and find a cafe. Before checking in we had confirmed that we could pay with credit card. however once there, we realized she would only charge us in US dollars if we paid with credit card- not Argentine pesos. so, we asked if we could pay half with cash and half with card as we didn’t have enough pesos left to pay entirely in cash. This was also not allowed so I had to spend the whole morning going from business tl business looking for someone who could change money for us. basically, the apartment is very nice but we didn’t really get to enjoy our stay.

Beautiful, very cozy, and clean apartment with gorgeous view on the mountains. It situated only 3 minutes walk from the main street of El Chalten, and 5-10 minutes walk from main trails. Barbara was amazing! She provided us with very valuable information about El Clalten, transfer to El Calafate as well as left for us some delicious treats. I would definitely recommend this apartment to stay!

A casa super atendeu nossas necessidades, para quem quiser tomar cafe da manha, a casa tem todos os utensilios necessarios. A localizacao da casa é um pouco afastada, entao para quem esta sem carro nao é muito bom. Barbara foi fantastica, deu varias dicas de restaurantes, informacoes sobre as trilhas, praticamente uma guia. Fantastica!

Aguila Mora Aparts is a hidden gem in El Chalten. Superb service courtesy of Barbara, and when she was away, her two children. Clean, comfy, spacious apartments with well-equipped kitchens. It’s off the main road, but not far, which makes for a quieter and less touristy-feeling stay in El Chalten than most other options. If I come back to El Chalten this is absolutely where I’d stay. One feature that makes it unique compared to many other places in El Chalten are the windows —they’re huge, bay windows that let in a ton of light. Walk around town and you’ll see how many others tend to have small windows that don’t let you take advantage of the wonderful views.

La habitación era un estudio de 16 m2, con absolutamente todo, espacio de cocina, baño pequeño, área de estar, y cama grande. Está muy bien mantenido, y está cálidamente decorado. La anfitriona está siempre dispuesta a ayudar para cualquier asunto. Está bastante cerca del centro ya q el pueblo es pequeño y tiene una vista hermosa. No tiene televisión por cable, pero tiene un amplio repertorio de películas para ver. Yo estuve 6 noches y volvería sin dudarlo.
