The hotel was extremely nice. So much more than I thought. Very convenient to walk to everything you would need. We will stay here again on our next trip.
Clean hotel. Close to restaurants. Friendly staff.
Paying for parking.
Emplacement
Stayed here a few years back but may not again until a refurbishment is done. Old and tired room and even worse bathroom tub and shower. First impression also poor as the bed linens looked rather wrinkled. We found some hairs in the bathroom too. Wardrobe and fridge were good but no in room safe. We miss that. Room was large and needed different furniture to fill it up, old carpet looked nasty. Liked the hooks. Plugs good and AC good. Parking was easy and convenient, and the bar was very enjoyable to sit at for late night drinks.
Excellent location, comfy beds, amazing lobster roll from the restaurant, clean room. Great stay! Easy walk to all things on George Street or an easy drive to a grocery store.
This is the third time I've stayed here. I really like the staff, they are friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. I will be back.

We stayed at the Delta Saint John 4 years ago and found it to be a nice place other than the constant sound of seagulls perched atop the roof over our room (on the top floor). So upon reserving a room this year, I asked for a room on a lower floor and away from the elevators. Upon check-in, we were assigned room 312, which was away from the elevators but on the top floor! Worse, its window faced directly towards the top of the parking garage, which had no cars, but a seagull perched on each post! The noise that first night was really bad. The next day, we went to reception and asked if another room might be available. They said they could look for one on a lower floor but there were two teams staying on those lower floors and based on their behavior as we encountered them in the halls, we felt the noise wouldn't be much better and might be worse. Plus, the reception clerk said the seagulls are audible everywhere in the hotel, but she could offer us earplugs (which we already have)! Another problem was a spring-loaded mechanism on the room doors (at least on the third-floor wing we were in this year. I don't recall this problem when we stayed in the third-floor wing where we stayed in 2022). These seemed to be poorly adjusted as when people just let them go, they slam the room door loudly! Compare this to the Rodd Charlottetown where we stayed after the Delta Saint John, where the door springs actually dampen the door closing force. So the door slamming was quite disruptive at the Delta, especially since some of our neighbours seemed to be doing it on purpose! Finally, the room seemed poorly maintained. The bathroom didn't seem to have a functioning exhaust fan, just a vent grill but without a fan to extract air, it was useless. The bathtub seemed poorly cleaned with dirt around several fittings. All in all this was disappointing as the Delta's location seems ideal. We had a bad experience with the Hilton down the street (rebranded recently as the Harbourfront Hotel apparently) about 8- or 9 years ago when I woke up to a wet floor due to leaking bathroom plumbing, so we've avoided it. There don't seem to be any other nice hotel choices in the uptown Saint John area. I know the Delta can't do anything about the seagulls other than offer earplugs, so it's really too bad.
Bien situé, près de tout. Grande chambre.
The location.
It looks old, tired and dated. It’s part of a mall that barely has a surviving store in it. Our room looked inward, we asked if they could find us one with a city view, but they couldn't.
Vieux et légèrement décrépi…
Location
The weather
Central location and walkable. Festival nearby and lots of great restaurants.
Not the hotel's fault but it's attached to a mall that has nothing to offer.. it's a dead commercial space. Also the price point is very high but for 1 night and the convenient location to why we were in town we still decided to stay. Multiple nights we would have easily gone elsewhere.
Location is excellent and parking on the 6th floor of the parking garage for direct hotel access was convenient and safe. Tara, at the desk, provided professional and excellent customer service with a caring heart. Our room was very clean & spacious with a fridge and two comfortable queen beds. We both loved the pillow selections and the water view. The hot breakfast buffet is delicious and you can get your eggs to order if you don’t like the scrambled eggs in the buffet. They also provide smooth Starbucks coffee in the restaurant where our waitress, Tanya, provided great service with a smile. There is a Subway restaurant across the street and other stores as well as the Saint John Market nearby in walking distance as well as the riverfront area. The hotel offers a discount if you are staying there because you need to go to the Saint John NB Heart Centre to see a cardiologist. We will be staying there again.
Stayed one night on our trip. Great location for the waterfront and restaurants. Clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Self parking isn’t difficult but getting back to the hotel is a bit confusing and wandering but just follow the signs. Would stay here again.
Amazing location in uptown Saint John. Upon arrival the self parking garage is confusing. It’s best to park on level six to access the hotel. Note this is a public parking facility and feels kind of sketchy. But we didn’t have any concerns regarding safety. Room was dated and worn. We actually had to relocate rooms due to an HVAC issue. There was a giant hole in the ceiling outside our room. We were told it was due to a leak. But they seemingly left it there. Not a good aesthetic. Shower curtain in the first room smelt awful. Made the bathroom stink. The best part of the hotel is the staff. They are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again if the rate is good but I hope they will give the property a major refresh soon.
Good location, free parking and comfortable beds.
The room was spacious and there were numerous outlets for electronic devices. The bed was comfortable. It was great the TV had an arm that allowed you to comfortable watch from either the sofa or the bed.
I would have appreciated if there were bath robes, slippers and toiletries included in the room. The towels were a bit worn.
Everything was great 👍
Good location, friendly staff
Bathroom in need of refurbishment
We were shown outstanding hospitality and made to feel so welcome from start to finish. Erik helped us know where to park (complimentary self-park on weekends), check-in was a breeze, and we went to our beautiful King room overlooking the Saint John River. What a fabulous view! Our room was sparkling clean thanks to Jessika who kept us well supplied with towels and bottled water. Our bed was very comfortable and our room was quiet, cool, and dark for a great night’s sleep. We enjoyed the swimming pool, jetted hot tub, and weight room. Breakfast a MIX was a bountiful buffet and our server, Nancy, kept our beverages filled, and always with a smile! We had no trouble getting to and from the parking garage. It’s all inside. Just follow the signs.
Hotel is in good spot but for price of roomnit was disappointing. It smelled damp and really musty when walking into room and shower curtain smells like it was never replaced. Kinda got skeevats, but its for one night or we would definitely be checking out.
From the room cleaner to the front desk, we found friendly helpful people (as on previous stays). The views from seaside windows are beautiful. The Delta is in walking distance of a dozen restaurants. We have favorites.
Location
Tv didn’t work No regular coffee in room
No real quibbles about the hotel itself, but the parking garage was a nightmare. Poor to no signage to direct you to the best access to the hotel. Difficult turns in the garage. One way street out of the garage. Took my husband three tries to get back to the hotel entrance to get our bags. We aren't likely to be back but highly recommend valet parking! We did have a spacious room and the harbour, boardwalk and many restauants/pubs are nearby. But all the streets coming up from the harbour are VERY steep if you have mobility issues.
Location was great.
Can be a pain when you have family/friends visit during the day you have to meet them in the lobby. Needs the latest gadget connections for phones etc.
Bed was comfortable Good location
Parking was ridiculous . We ended up paying 20.00 to get out of parking garage even though it should have been free. Had to wait for gate to be opened .
The booked room was for my spouse. He grew up in Saint John and flies home to see family and friends once or twice a yr. He always stays at the Delta. He was given a complimentary upgrade to a larger king room upon checking in and very grateful for that.
The bathrooms need renovating - I've said this before. They are very 1985. 1. very inadequate lighting 2. stone tile floors are always freezing cold. 3. my sink faucet was very loose and always moving around and the mount for the shower head ( moving it up and down, changing angle of spray ) was not working. The ability to tighten the washer holding it in a given position was stripped and dead.
I left important piece of luggage in lobby. Staff “Robert” saved me! iPad, important equipment in luggage. Thank you thank you!
Room size and location
Great check in staff Clean Big room and comfortable bed
Noisy air con unit - had to turn off as too noisy to sleep
I recently stayed at the Delta Saint John and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the waterfront, restaurants, and attractions in uptown Saint John. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with beautiful views and everything needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure guests had a great experience. One of the highlights was the convenience of the hotel's amenities and the seamless connection to the surrounding area. The property strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and East Coast hospitality.
The MOST helpful staff, bar none!
Comfortable bed, good breakfast with several choices, secure parking.
They were doing construction in front so the sidewalk was closed. Getting from the parking garage to the hotel lobby and the elevator to our room was confusing at first. Breakfast was not included and was fairly expensive. The area around the hotel did not have anything worth seeing. There were numerous homeless people everywhere we went and several approached us asking for money. I would not stay downtown again.
We loved our stay at the Delta in Sain John NB. Eric and Angus were helpful, warm and welcoming right as we stepped out of the car. Robert at reception was impressively efficient (the hotel was packed due to a prom event with several clients in line). Robert was very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean, rooms were very comfy and clean. Location is ideal in the city.
We loved everything. The hotel is a little dated, but we found evwrything to be well maintained and very clean and staff is very welcoming and helpful.
Big Range in rates depending on booking process.
Delta Saint John is actually the first Delta hotels that I lived since I signed up the Marriott Bonvey. I must say the experience is good. At first glance I was a little worried about if the safety is an issue since it is connected to Brunswick Square mall. But in fact is not. The service is pretty good. Logan is a nice outgoing lovely awesome person. Helped me the entire way whenever I have a question or want to share some thoughts. Thanks Logan for the exceptional tremendously wonderful service that’s been provided. Another gentleman that is working during my check in process his name is Robert. He is nice enough to guide me the areas where the specific room is located each floor and also nice enough to tell me the policy of hotels ordering taxis in Saint John (which is the night before your schedule transportation time). Dinner is good. The burger and Salad is all good. Breakfast is good too. (After I tried I will update my feeling about it). But overall it is a nice Delta hotels that I tried and a special thank you to Logan and Robert. They are awesome 🤩. Finally they have tones of plugs for charging your device. The room that I got had 2 on the desk lamp; 4 on the desk level and another 2 each on each side of beds (depends on if you get a 1 King or 1 Queen or 2 Queen, I think 2 Queen and suites might have more plugs) Finally the other staff named Angus he is very nice and outgoing too. Very nice gentleman provide lots of information and very helpful. And restaurant staff Charlotte is very welcoming lovely and offers a tremendous service yesterday breakfast for me. She’s such a lovely welcoming person. Also Thanks to Charlotte too for the exceptional service during breakfast time.
Excellent location, pool, gym, free easy parking
Nothing
Clean and walking distance to our venue
Parking was a pain, and a bit of a walk to the elevator and rooms
Location
I think it waa just okay, compared to other hotels I have been to.
The breakfast did not have a lot of options, limited and not very interesting. Didn't think we will be offered packet juices compared to freshly squeezed I have had in other places. There were no shower cap or even 1 bath robe in the bathroom. The beds were not properly made, and given the fact it was our anniversary, which I have pre-innformed the reception desk at time of booking, a little detail to even say happy anniversary would have mattered and shown attention to information. Not that it matters but I have had better experiences. Remembered one of our experiences, it was a little note placed in our room when we arrived, wishing us a happy anniversary. Again, not that it mattered but that little act will make us return to that same hotel anytime we are in that city.
Everything ! Just beautiful !
It is attached to the mall which was very convenient, I had a group for a child’s birthday and the hotel was very large and offered space for them to have fun , large rooms and beautiful views , the staff at the front desk were amazing and so helpful with all my questions and needs ,
Location was very central to downtown sites and restaurants, but Saturday night was sleepless as every vehicle without a muffler cruised around the streets around the hotel until the wee hours. Parking is an issue as it is an awkward walk from the lot to the front desk. Get in the habit of dropping your passengers off at the front door or splurge on valet parking. The hotel's three floors are each arranged as a large quadrangle, with the elevators in one corner. If you have any mobility issues, ask at check-in to be located reasonably close to the elevators. The hotel's restaurant was a nice surprise with very good food but opt for table service, rather than the buffet , at breakfast. You can also take the buffet but ask for eggs to be prepared in the kitchen (advice from our waitress that we should have followed).
Friendly staff. Nice room.
The location is excellent walking distance uptown Saint John. The view of King st from our room was fantastic. City lights and the sunsetting over the water was beautiful.
Small thing but no garbage bag in the trash can.
Everything
I know it couldn’t be helped but there was an alarm that went off every 2 minutes telling us to stay in our room and the elevators were not in use. It lasted about 1.5 hrs. The problem was on the 3rd level. It made us very uncomfortable.
Location is superb.
1st of all there wasn't any signage indicating that there is a covered garage area that you drive into to access the lobby. The street signage was also lacking to tell one where the entrance was for foot traffic. The hotel is tired, it really needs a refresh, especially the guest rooms. The king bed room was bare. There was a large 100 square foot area without any furnishings - could easily of accommodated another arm chair or loveseat so that there was somewhere to sit and visit with one's partner other than on the bed. In the restaurant a big fat mouse ran by our lounge seating - yuck!
The staff are exceptional. This is my second stay, and I like the hotel.
The guests. There were teams staying there, they were very disruptive, rude and basically treated the hotel like they owned it. Garbage left in the hallways to be picked up by staff. Loud obnoxious people, slamming doors and yelling talking at 3am. The front desk was very accommodating, offering to move me to another area of the hotel. The staff are amazing, I just wished they got the respect they deserve.
Lit et chambre OK
Odeur de renfermé et toilette impropre
I have to say that the lay out is the most confusing that I have ever been in. We came in town early to meet some family before checking in. Parked in the garage that is attached to the mall, then tried to figure out how to get to the hotel lobby. There was no signage until you entered the mall, which then had some signs pointing out the way to go. A couple elevators and a slight tour of the mall later, then we finally found the lobby. We actually went around the block the first time to find the doors to the lobby, that were up some icy, delapitated cement stairs. Once checked in you have to use your door card to get the elevator to take you to the room floors. Room was ok, with a slight glimpse of the harbour but more of a city view. Washroom was average and the bed was ok. Once finding the lounge, it felt more like you were in the mall food court than a hotel lounge, which was the same feel for the pool. The lounge food and service was good. Our stay coincided with some kids hockey teams, and their parents allowed them to run the halls and yell until the wee hours of the night. The HVAC unit was very noisy. They also charged us for one day of parking, even though I think parking in that garage is free on weekends ?? The upside was, that the location is handy to most pubs.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were good, and it was quiet.
We were provided a parking pass from the hotel for what I assumed was free parking. When we scanned it, it wanted us to pay 80$. We ended up using the pass we received while parking and payed 20$. Payment for parking was inconvenient.
Location
Had two fire alarm incidents, flush wouldn’t flush, and there was hair on our bed that didn’t belong to us.
The room fit 4 adults very comfortably . Had an issue with the toilet and staff immediately fixed the issue
Only thing I didnt like about my stay was the hot tub was out of order .
The room was large and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable.
We did not like that there was only one comfy chair. The second chair was a desk chair only.
Comfortable bed, great staff in hotel and restaurant
Breakfast not included in room rate. No view.
the bed and the bathroom were great
The front door was a bit hard to open with the key card

It’s a tired hotel in need of upgrades. Layout is challenging and parking confusing.
The closeness to everything
Need a renovation everything is so dated
Die Lage war toll.
Quiet, clean, pleasant staff.
Person who checked me in was most pleasant
Bring Daniel back!
The bed was very comfortable. The room was too hot but I prefer a cold room to sleep in. The temperature was up high when we arrived.
The door was extremely difficult to open. We almost had to go back to the front desk but the maid was next door and she helped us. Then we had great difficulty getting out of our room too.
The hotel accommodated our service dog with zero issues and very friendly staff.
Bathrooms need updating.
I stayed here for work and overall the experience was good. The room was clean, and most of the staff were professional and helpful. However, I needed an invoice for my job reimbursement, and this part was very disappointing. Since I booked through Booking, the app told me to contact the hotel directly because they don’t issue invoices. When I called the front desk, they hung up on me. Everything else during my stay went well, but the lack of support with the invoice and the way the call was handled really affected my overall impression.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was as expected based on the room description and pics. The staff were very helpful/accommodating when my phone charger died, lending me a charging cord. There was also an employee, Promo, that deserves an award for being so friendly and easily put a smile on my face.

Very nice
No breakfast or anything included for 17$ a night
Great location in the city, very good to explore everything in Saint John
location was good.
parking was terrible. Free parking but a nightmare getting from garage to room. They give you a map at reception but it doesnt help epecially if you are tired and not processing info after a long day. Parking is underneath building I think but getting out of there and through shopping centre etc is a convuluted mess
They literally parked my truck infront of the front window so the welder in the back of my truck wouldnt get messed with.... you cant ask for anything more. 10/10
Clean, friendly staff!
Kind of confusing …. How to get to parking garage… where elevators were! Our room 118 had nothing to look at!!! 😏
Angenehme Lage. Zimmer und Personal besser als erwartet.
Weiter Weg von Parkgarage zum Zimmer.
Location, view from the room (worth the upgrade)!
Navigating the parking in and out. Nothing big.
Stock.
