Our rooms were not exactly spot on clean. There was a picture frame displayed in one of our rooms which was dusty and seems moldy. Thought the pool was heated.

The food was amazing and reception staff was excellent

The carpet in the room and hallway needs to be refurbished or deep clean I was expecting the same shangrila as we have known for its world class facilities and cleanliness.

As a family with 4 little wonderful children who are constantly active and looking for adventures, hotel staycations are always in our to do list. Most of the time we go out of town, but we always overlook the OG Edsa Shangri-la. 3 days ago we found an opportunity to stay. We have been into good 4-5 stars hotels ourselves but today, I think I found the hotel who truly defined what a 5 star hotel was. From my first step down from our vehicle, to our very easy and hassle free check in, to all of our elevator rides with truly accommodating staff and employees, to the service who catered to us and made sure we were at our coziest and how can I forget, Sir Joseph and the team of experienced and most attentive lifeguards who saved my son's life -- too quickly that he didn't even need urgent medical attention, Sir Joseph and to your team, my heartfelt thank you! To the admin, medical and security team who didnt even take 10 mins in going down to check if we were okay, thank you! We will definitely be back :)

The room and the amenities are clean and top notch. The ambience is also relaxing. The customer service team is responsive to our concerns. They also have in-house nurses that were quick to respond when we needed assistance. It was also my birthday. The housekeeping team, most esp. Ms. Tess, made extra effort to decorate the room and provide some gifts for my birthday. Thank you and kudos to the EDSA Shangri-la team! 👌

Superb customer service from check in down to check out, all of the staff are very friendly especially Mam Tess from Housekeeping and Miss Cess from Reception. Remarkable experience and our family enjoyed a lot especially my twin toddlers. They even prepared cakes and balloons since it is their birthday. Love all their amenities, the food, the pool etc. Will definitely come back here.

Overall, we had an excellent stay with true 5-star service throughout! A very special thanks to Jazmine and Rans from the front desk team. Their warm welcomes, lovely conversations, and thoughtful suggestions to maximize our family’s enjoyment were invaluable to us. The food standard across the hotel is top-notch. Dining at HEAT, the Lobby Lounge, and the Horizon Club was fantastic—food served at perfect temperatures and the coffee made to perfection. In fact, the coffee in the Horizon Club beats most shopping mall cafés easily! Facilities wise, everything is good, though you can tell parts are aging a bit, with minor water leakage spots noticed on some ceilings. As for the room, it was very comfortable. Housekeeping service could be slightly sharper, as they occasionally missed daily refills like tea bags, slippers, or extra towels. However, these were minor hiccups since we could easily request them using the Shangri-La app, which works brilliantly. Despite the slight facility wear, the stellar service and incredible food make this hotel a top recommendation. We look forward to coming back to Edsa Shangri-la!!

I am referring to your health club. The temperature is too cold. You are wasting energy and needless power bills. Gyms cannot be this cold. I bring it up frequently but they don’t do anything. They said they cannot control it. Only engineering can control. Why don’t they just put a switch and thermostat in the health club premises? You will save a lot of money

We had such a lovely 3 day stay at Edsa Shangri-La! Our room was always clean and comfortable, and we really appreciate Ms. Marga and Mr. Eleazar for taking such good care of it. A special thank you to Ms. Tess, who was so kind, warm, and accommodating with all our requests. She really made us feel welcome and well taken care of. I had a wonderful experience at Shangri-La EDSA. The room was elegant, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the staff provided excellent and attentive service throughout our stay. Most specially Mam Tess was very accommodating and polite to us. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly made the experience exceptional. Overall, a refined and memorable stay definitely a place I would be happy to visit again.

The rooms are just the right size—not too large, not too small—making them feel comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was also well maintained, with 24-hour hot and cold water. The pricing is on the higher side, but if you're staying at Shangri-La, you know you're paying for the overall experience and location. One area where I felt there was room for improvement was the service. It was occasionally a little slow, and some requests—especially laundry—required multiple follow-ups. The absolute highlight of the property, however, was the Health Center. The facilities were fantastic: a well-equipped gym, steam and sauna, hot and cold plunge pools, and a swimming pool. Definitely one of the best features of the property. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent wellness facilities, though service responsiveness could be improved. One Suggestion : Please do something for Wait at breakfast table, we can see lines starting 7:30 AM going upto 10:30 AM, esp on weekends. Can you extend time of breakfast till 11:30 AM for weekends for better crowed management?

We stayed to celebrate birthdays in the family. Thank for for setting up baloons and some decorations. The kids had fun in the pool. Mark and Adonis did a good job watching over the kids. Sad to say the food at thw breakfast buffet was terrible. We had it replaced but the taste was still the same. :(

Ms jasmine was very accomodating during my checkin. More than the complimentaries she gave me for my bday which were also VERY appreciated (late checkout, bday cake and setup 💛) , she made sure the checkin went quickly smoothly and not bothersome at all, ie no more need for incidental fees bec it's jst a one night stay anyway. Very practical. I always celeb my bday in edsa shang and i can confidently say the hospitality is on another level. Very very accomodating, from the lobby lounge servers to the pool bar crew (very very accomodating team, i forgot the name of the lady manager and kuya server who always made my parents feel attended to and welcomed), to the kind housekeeping team as well who made sure our room stuff is replenished, to the guards who always smiles and greets, to kua bellboys, they are all very warm thas why i keep coming back. It's true that some facilities are a bit old but that is very much offset by their hospitality. Edsa shang is beautiful too. Thank you 💛

TOUT. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées. Les espaces communs sont grands. L'impression d'espace est partout et c'est très agréable. Le jardin avec la piscine sont une grande oasis dans la ville.

The housekeeping staff, Wilson, who assisted us was very polite, accommodating, and respectful. He was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure our stay comfortable. Wilson is truly an asset to this hotel and deserves recognition for his excellent service.

Such a fantastic place. Breakfast is more like brunch with a billion options. The restaurants inside that we tried were also delicious. Pool is amazing for kids. We got a nice quiet room and slept really well.

Pool was superb, although it can be a bit crowded at times. Room was good in size, appreciate the Nespresso machine and free capsules. Gym was probably the best gym in any hotel I've stayed in so very impressed with that!

The service was exceptional, I had a couple of issues about the first room we were given, but the next morning, after discussing my concerns with the concierge, the staff went above and beyond by arranging a new room for us that completely met all our expectations, with minimal disruption to our vacation plans.

The location is huge and the local traffic is atrocious. This is not a fault with the hotel at all and not something they can be criticised for, but it is something people should be aware of. Rush-hour in Manila, especially around EDSA is very slow-moving and would try anyone's patience!

I liked everything on our stay ,amazing staff ,great food choices at and around the hotel ,convenient to local shopping ,beautiful oasis type feeling in the amazing pool ,convenient well kept smoking area on the second floor out in the open terrace .

International coffee standard in a large mug i just could not get a proper flat white anywhere ,the bakery inside lobby came close it took me 2.5 days to find that in a take away cup ..this is my one and only let down this hotel is amazing !

De har den bedste pool i byen.

Alt for overpris. VI har booket 3 overnatninger med morgenmad for familien og alt betalt før ankomst. Da vi så ankomst og checket ind ved reception, sagde receptionist at vi skulle betale ekstra for vores barn. Ja men han er med til booking. Jeg har aldrig oplevet det før at de kræver mere end man har aftalt. Syntes maden er ikke særlig especial, det larmer også meget. Hotel værelse gang i vores etage på 9 floor lugter af sur tær. Vores hotel værelse er indlukket, kan ikke får frisk luft, møblerne er det samme som 25 år siden jeg oplevede det. Det trænger til opgradering jeg syntes de kan det sagtens. Jeg forslår dem at fjerne de lugtene tæppe fordi vores hotel room lugter af vandskæde. Det var ikke så behageligt. :(

Breakfast - it was one of our favourite family bfast place. Our first day we woke up a bit later and came down at 10am and just to find out they’ve ran out of “Taho” So me and my husband made sure we’d be earlier as it was something I look forward to coming home to the PH. Lo and behold there was none again. And the mango also was just gone but since I was a little disappointed already regarding the taho they made sure we got the mango but at the end. Other than that all went well :)

Pool was amazing, bed was super comfortable. Location is excellent. Easy access to megamall and shang plaza.

The price that ive paid would have been including breakfast in other places. In general, hotels in manila are quite expensive compared to other countries.

This place exceeded all my expectations. My dad worked on building this hotel as a construction manager in the 90s, and it still stands in all its glory. I felt incredibly proud to stay here. The food was exceptional, with endless choices at both breakfast and dinner. We also made full use of the spa and enjoyed truly relaxing, serene massages. The pool was a great size and beautifully surrounded by palm trees. From the moment you step inside, it’s impressive, the marble floors, chandeliers, and all the details of a true 5-star hotel. Just wow!

Le petit déjeuner était impressionnant, et pour le salé très bon.

Le décor très vieillot des chambres, comme revenu dans les années 90, le personnel qui nous harcèle pour payer le late Check out (rappelé au Check in, lettre glissée sous la porte late nuit, appel le lendemain dans la chambre pour ne pas oublier, tout ça en une seule nuit passée là bas), les toboggans gonflables installés dans la piscine pour les enfants et qu’il faut payer en supplément - c’est vraiment loin de l’idée du luxe qu’on connaît en France et en plus de voir demander de payer tout de suite, alors qu’on est en maillot sans porte feuille, avoir l’employé qui nous chasse avec son TPE jusqu’au milieu de la piscine pendant qu’on se baigne au lieu de l’ajouter à la note de la chambre, c’est signe d’un hôtel de bas étage mais certainement pas d’un 5*. De plus chambre réservée pour 3, avec notre fils. A l’arrivée à 21h nous nous rendons compte que le canapé lit de la chambre n’a pas été préparé pour lui. Nous en informons l’hôtel qui vient préparer un canapé lit digne des années 70, avec une structure et un matelas si fins que nous avions peur qu’il se casse au moindre mouvement et qui ne tenait même pas droit. Absolument hallucinant comme prestation pour un 5*. Fuyez littéralement. Nous avons fait d’excellent 4* aux Philippines durant notre séjour dont le niveau de raffinement et de prestations au global dépassaient de très loin celui-ci, sans parler du rapport qualité prix.

During our stay at Edsa Shang, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Ms. Bianca at the front desk. She is a true example of hospitality—very friendly and a great communicator. The room was clean and spacious; special thanks to Ms. Tess from Housekeeping. We are also very thankful to Sir Fernando for his help in handling our air conditioning difficulties. Overall, it was a nice experience!

he stay was excellent overall. The amenities were top-notch, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was a great size, and everything was impeccably clean. The staff were warm, accommodating, and genuinely hospitable—they made me feel very well taken care of throughout my stay. It was also very convenient to have plenty of shops nearby. A great experience all around.

The housekeeping team have provided is tremendous comfort and looked after our needs. We had our double celebration here and it’s been fun. I have a different opinion for the F&B team though for causing me an embarrassment not just once but twice—disorganized and lacking correct information for their guests and would insist on their errors instead of straightening them. Do better.
