The hotel kickback area was hot and my room was a little warm with the AC on 68, but it was hot outside and I know that may have impacted the temp in the room and dining area.

While staying here for 5 days it was kinda enjoyable. I do feel as though their blankets are too thin and they ran out of extra blankets when asked on multiple occasions. The pool closes entirely too early at 10pm. We felt as though the pool should close at 11pm. It’s the summer time and people are on vacation. Not even my 5 year old granddaughter was ready to go to sleep at 10pm in the summer. There should be signs posted in the laundry area to remind people to be respectful of others who also pay their money to use the amenities. I had to wait 3 hours just for someone to come get their laundry that was finished washing out the washer. I guess they fell asleep I’m not sure what they were doing. I reported this to the night worker. And he didn’t feel comfortable taking their clothes out the washer and putting them in the laundry bag they had sitting in the laundry room. I kept checking for hours to see if the washer was available. They have 2 dryers but only 1 washer in there. Needless to say I was not pleased about this. My family and I were visiting Texas some for the first time in Texas ever. Including myself it was 19 of us that flew in and stayed at this location. However, the GM named Mark was very pleasant and had awesome customer service! The hotel was very clean and in a good location. The price was reasonable not outrageously expensive. The food was good. We do feel as though they should have instant packets of grits available for breakfast because not everyone eats oatmeal with eggs and sausage. We’re not sure if we will book back at this location though. I say we because my family and I always travel together wherever we visit.

This hotel is top-rated and I agree. The room was clean and comfortable. Two meals were included. The pool and hot tub were nice. The exercise room was well-equipped. The hotel was full (due to the World Cup being in Houston) but the hotel was quiet, and the staff kept up with everything beautifully. Breakfast and dinner are included. Believe me this was not a "light" dinner or hors d'oeuvres that you get at some hotels--this was a full-up dinner. The general manager, himself, works the bar in the evening and helps with breakfast in the morning. I complimented him on his hotel and his staff. He told me that some staff members have been there since the hotel opened 30 years ago! That's a sign of a well-run hotel. Nice job Drury Inn!

Lo mejor de todo fue la atención de TODAS las señoritas -y señoras- de ese lugar. Amables, resolutivas, simpáticas y muy colaboradoras. ¡Gracias Leslie, Britney, Juanita, Ariana (ella sabe), por hacer de mi estancia una semana muy agradable! Destaco también la presencia de máquinas de hielo en cada piso y la de refrescos cerca de recepción, porque el calor de Houston no tiene nombre. La temperatura del hotel es excelente pese al calor infernal de la calle.

Breakfast was.....adequite. Dinner and the drink were excellent. Room was good. Good sound insulation as no outside noise per se was heard. Parking was good and security met my expectations. Staff were great: Friendly, personable, informative, helpful, and accomodating.

My family and I stayed at this hotel in June 2026 and were disappointed by several issues with our room and the service we received. The air conditioning stopped working during our stay, and the floor in front of the unit became completely soaked with water. The shower handle that turns the water on also fell off and had to be screwed back on before we could use it. In addition to the maintenance problems, the overnight front desk employee was very rude when we tried to use the pantry store. She seemed irritated by our questions and acted as though assisting guests was a bother. As paying guests, we expected professional and courteous customer service, especially from front desk staff. While the location was convenient, the room maintenance issues and poor customer service made our stay much less enjoyable than expected. I hope these concerns are addressed so future guests have a better experience.

This is an excellent place to stay in Houston. The staff really made me feel welcomed to the property with a clean space, delicious evening reception and morning breakfast that goes above the standard. I travel often and the stay was exceptional and easy to enjoy.

The hotel was close to where I needed to be. They offer free, secure parking. It was quiet—at least, I didn't hear any neighbors. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean, and the water pressure was good. Breakfast was standard for this class of hotel: eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, yogurt/milk, pastries, oatmeal, and coffee. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly; they assisted me with my documents (I needed to make copies). I will stay there again next time.

The staff was amazing, very friendly, very professional, the room was clean, the hotel itself was clean. It does need some love and a little updating, especially the bathrooms. The shower was awful, no matter what temperature we tried it would swing from freezing to scalding over and over. By the end of our trip we learned the cycles and could anticipate the temps and try not to get burned or have ice cold water on us and just step out of the spray for a bit. It made it difficult and not the best start of the day. We both tried morning, afternoon and late night showers and the issue stayed no matter when we attempted.

We woke up one day to find that our apartment had no water. While the issue was being repaired, we checked into a nearby Drury Inn so I wouldn’t have to worry about meals. Drury’s dinner and breakfast, though not fancy, are the number one reason I choose to stay there. I had never stayed at this particular location before, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The manager was smart, hardworking, polite, and efficient. I was so impressed that I assumed he must own the hotel. Later, a quick Google search reminded me that Drury Inns are corporately owned, so I suppose he simply takes exceptional pride in his job.

First came in the doors, avianna was working. And she was amazing from the get go. Very helpful. It was my daughter's birthday.And she accommodated her. The next day on the ninth for day shift, we went to panda fest.And the staff put my daughter's birthday cake up in the room for us, even though they were busy.And I really appreciate that as well.We will definitely be coming back and staying.
