very little. the hotel was old and worn out. the room was dark - and apparently according to staff all are like that, none are facing the sun. the sofas in the rooms are plastic... so god knows what goes on on those, I stayed well off them. my air con / heating system didn't work, and they didn't care. The man who came to fix it walked away and said he'd come back and actually went to attend to someone else! And just told downstairs he didn't feel cold so didn't know what fuss was... which wasn't the same as it not working! (I wanted the room warmer... it was freezing!) the owner of the hotel also closed off the pool for two days for his own private party. the day before they posted a note at reception and said we could use a 'sister pool' at a nearby location. this was very sneaky - they knew about this party all along but didn't post it on the booking page because they knew it would stop bookings, so chose to just hope that people would deal with it once they were already booked in and staying there. getting an uber to another hotel's pool is not the same as running up from your room for a quick dip and coming back down again. The party was also some sort of sex orgy, as that day I saw the van pull up with a bunch of girl in it coming out with 'orgy' written on their pants. Grim.

they also stole my scarf. I checked out and left a scarf, so went back to get it before my 11pm flight. I was told that housekeeping got it when turning over the room and locked it in the housekeeping room but the housekeeping manager wouldn't be in until the next day... and noone else had the key! I asked what good that was going to do when I had clearly checked out, so therefore would be not likely to be around the next day - if I had been I would have not checked out! they should have put two and two together. and why does no-one else at the hotel have an emergency key? worst of all.. they wanted me to pay for them to ship it to me. despite it being their incompetence that meant it was behind closed doors. they were really rude about it too and totally insincere.

Everything about this property was perfect! The old Hollywood decor, it always smelt good, beds were super comfy, suites were large, showers were great, pool was wonderful and the staff were lovely.

Non è prevista alcuna colazione da 22€ come pubblicizzato su Booking ma è molto costosa dovendo ordinare alla carta. Nè tantomeno esiste alcun buffet. La pulizia delle camere non è avvenuta quotidianamente nonostante avessi chiesto al personale delle pulizie che, a quanto pare, non parla neanche inglese. La piscina è troppo piccola e non ho visto nessuno utilizzarla.

Pessima esperienza, assolutamente non all’altezza di un hotel 5 stelle. Il servizio di pulizia è stato estremamente deludente. Nonostante avessimo richiesto espressamente la pulizia della camera, in 5 giorni ci sono state cambiate solamente le asciugamani. Il bagno e la doccia non sono mai stati puliti e le lenzuola non sono mai state cambiate. Un servizio del genere è inaccettabile per una struttura che si presenta come un 5 stelle. Anche il parcheggio è decisamente troppo costoso: 70 dollari a notte, una cifra spropositata considerando che nelle vicinanze si trovano garage a circa 30 dollari a notte. La piscina è un’altra grande delusione: estremamente piccola, tanto che a malapena possono entrarci 10 persone contemporaneamente. Difficile definirla una vera piscina per un hotel di questa categoria. Nel complesso, ritengo che sia assolutamente inappropriato attribuire 5 stelle a una struttura con questo livello di servizio e queste caratteristiche. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è del tutto insoddisfacente.

Ein wirklich tolles Boutique-Hotel mitten in West Hollywood! Die Lage ist top – Geschäfte, Restaurants und Bars alle fußläufig erreichbar, und für alle Instagram-Fans: sogar der berühmte Erewhon Market – DER place to be und to be seen – ist quasi ums Eck. Parken war unkompliziert dank hoteleigener Garage, was in der Gegend Gold wert ist. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr gepflegt, insgesamt ein sehr freundliches und bemühtes Team. Was die Erfahrung aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat: Ich hatte versehentlich ein wichtiges Medikament im Zimmer vergessen und war deshalb ziemlich in Sorge. Das Team hat sich unglaublich engagiert darum gekümmert, es zu finden und mir professionell nachzuschicken – das ging für mich weit über normalen Kundenservice hinaus. Genau diese Extra-Meile macht für mich den Unterschied zwischen einem guten und einem wirklich empfehlenswerten Hotel. Vielen Dank für die tolle Betreuung – gerne wieder! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

Des frais de 60 dollars par chambre et par jour sont appliqués pour des services ( piscine sur rooftop et fitness) bas de gamme. Bref un établissement à surtout éviter

The location was great - close to West Hollywood for our conference and many restaurants around. The hotel itself is wonderful. Rooms and decor feel fresh. Rooms are spacious as well. We spent most our time at the rooftop pool. Loved it. There’s a Trader Joes a block away for snacks and a decent gym onsite. Stayed with a friend and loved that there was an extra sitting area so we had a bit more space to ourselves. Really enjoyed it. Oh and every single staff member was hospitable and friendly. They went above and beyond.

I will be staying at the Chamberlain as long as Olivia works here. She made me feel like a VIP even though I'm just a regular guy.

Great hotel at a perfect quiet location centrally located. Very friendly staff. We stayed in the Premier King suite and it was spacious and clean. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely appointed hotel in a great location. The style and decor of the room was great. It was only let down by our room not being properly prepared for the three guests we had booked for. On arrival the sofa bed had not been made up, and we were only provided with towels for 2 people. We had to ask twice before managing to get extra towels. Also the bathroom has a very annoying “feature” of an automatic light switch, the results in everyone being woken up by the light if someone uses the bathroom in the night. Fortunately it was quickly resolved by the hotel engineer covering it in gaffer tape.

Das Zimmer war super groß und das Bett ebenfalls. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Lage war perfekt und wir konnten einiges sogar zu Fuß erkunden.

Das man nach den Zimmerschlappen fragen muss. Wenn sie mit zur Ausstattung gehören, sollten sie auch auf dem Zimmer sein. Zu den Poolzeiten sollte oben auch Personal sein. Zumindest Handtücher und Getränke (Spender o.ä.) - aber nichts. Danach mussten wir erst wieder an der Rezeption fragen. Der Zimmerservice (Essen) war "ok"...

Echt een top hotel! De locatie is ideaal in West Hollywood en je zit dichtbij alles, maar het hotel zelf ligt heerlijk rustig. De kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel, en de gym en het zwembad op het dak zijn echt een fijne extra. Alles bij elkaar een super fijne plek om te verblijven in LA. Absoluut een aanrader!

Je moest schoonmaak van de kamer aanvragen en er kwamen wat extra kosten achteraf bij.

Die Lage war super. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr sauber. Es wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. Der Morgenkaffe war auch super. Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr schön. Parkgebühren sind aber extrem hoch.

Ich habe durch Booking.com das Hotel angeschrieben und ein Zimmer in der höheren Etage gewünscht. Nach dem Check-in habe ich nochmals gefragt, ob ich ein Zimmer in höheren Etage haben kann, was verneint wurde. Dann die unangenehme Überraschung: wir bekommen ein Zimmer fast im Keller, der Balkon schaut nicht ins Freie sondern gegen eine Wand im Keller. Ich frage nochmals bei Rezeption nach, da wir als Familie 4 Nächte in LA blieben. Dann die Erbarmung der Rezeption, wir bekommen ein Zimmer im 2ten Stock quasi im Erdgeschoss aber zumindest mit Licht. Ich frage mich, ob die Wünsche der Gäste überhaupt gelesen werden, stressig und unangenehm war es jedenfalls, enttäuscht bin ich auch 🙁

L’hôtel vieillit mal et souffre clairement d’un manque d’entretien. La qualité du linge est très moyenne et une forte odeur d’humidité est présente dans les parties communes comme dans les chambres. À plus de 600 $ la nuit, auxquels s’ajoutent 70 $ de frais de voiturier, le rapport qualité-prix est très décevant et ne correspond absolument pas au niveau de prestation attendu.

From the moment I walked into Chamberlain Hotel, I knew this stay was going to be different. The second I was greeted by Olivia, she welcomed me with such a warm, genuine smile that it felt like I was seeing someone I’d known for years. She was kind, personable, and made me feel at home immediately. She was truly the highlight of my day, and that level of hospitality set the tone for my entire experience. Beyond the incredible service, the hotel itself was spotless. Everything was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had an atmosphere that was both relaxing and inviting. The energy throughout the property just felt right and very comfortable, peaceful, and upscale without feeling pretentious. This is absolutely a place I can see myself staying again, no question about it. A huge thank you to Olivia and the entire Chamberlain Hotel team for making my stay such a memorable one. This is a descrete boutique hotel in a great location in West Hollywood

Guests and non guests were allowed to book cabanas even though the hotel policy is ‘first come first served’. Not great to get comfortable in a cabana only to be asked to move ‘due to a booking’ when you’ve been expressly told you do not need to book them as a hotel guest The dining area / bar area is poor and not as represented in the photos

Location: Perfect—convenient and exactly where I wanted to be. Atmosphere: Friendly and welcoming. The staff and guests created a pleasant environment. Room: I was disappointed that there was no closet or proper place to hang clothes. I also wasn't informed that I needed to contact the front desk to request housekeeping or have my bed made. Cleanliness: Unfortunately, my room was never cleaned during my stay, which was disappointing. Noise: Very quiet, making it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. Service: Overall, the service was okay. Amenities: The pool was excellent and one of the highlights of the property.

On top of that, I scored a fantastic deal, which made my stay feel like an unbeatable experience. The service was top-notch! Every staff member I interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make my stay perfect. Their hospitality made me feel so welcome and cared for throughout my trip. If you’re looking for a cute, cozy, and charming hotel with incredible rooms and outstanding service, I can’t recommend the Chamberlain West Hollywood enough. Wonderful as always. Quiet and peaceful while being close to lots of great food and shopping. Bartenders/Servers Mareld and Evan were especially personable and gave great service!

Wonderful stay! I would give it a 4.5. Our room was spacious and the bartenders at both the restaurant and pool were friendly and efficient. Lattes were tasty and regular coffee was free. Great location! It was easy to drive to Universal, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Sunset Blvd, Route 66 and other attractions. We loved visiting the pool at the end of the day. It had quite a nice view and it was easy to get a lounge chair and plenty of towels. The pool size is more for dipping than laps but that was fine for our purposes. The refrigerator kept our water cool. We booked housekeeping each day and the room was ready when we expected it to be. Cons: Room had a slight delay getting ready. I think you should call and tell them when you are arriving and confirm that the room will be ready. No safe in the room (unless we missed it.). On one of the days, the pool area could have been a little cleaner.

I needed a place for my 93 year-old grandmother to stay for a few weeks. I’m so glad that we found the chamberlain. They were happy to hook her up with a handicap accessible room and have been very kind and helpful towards her. The room is sizeable, clean l, and homey. My grandmother was extremely comfortable here I can’t wait for her to stay here again. Also, Olivia at the front desk was the first person we met before we booked it. She allowed us to tour the room and ask questions before we booked it. She is so kind and caring and such an asset to the company. She’s definitely the reason we booked here. We cannot wait to stay here again.

Love this hotel! My first stay at Chamberlain and I will certainly be back. My room was a top floor Signature King suite with a balcony overlooking Westmount Drive. The hotel has a neighborhood, boutique feel that I really enjoyed. Rooftop pool and bar, small gym, cozy restaurant, and friendly staff. Special shoutout to front desk staff member, Ramesh, who is so helpful and welcoming. See you next time, Chamberlain!

Room service, for the expense and the rating of this hotel, I would have expected a daily room service as a standard offering, it was offered upon request only, so I requested it on the first day, but never received it at all, so I specifically asked for new towels on day 3 only to find the new towels placed on the bed, not even in the bathroom?

Very friendly staff, particularly the older Pakistani man (name escapes me!) who tended bar and served breakfast, just a wonderful man, I enjoyed talking to him so much. Everyone was great, price, location, everything worked well and I'll stay there again if I need to come back to LA

Great hotel in a great location. It’s centrally located in West Hollywood. It’s a quiet neighborhood, but then go a block or two and you’re in the middle of it. Great rooftop pool! Great views up there! The dining was excellent too.

The Chamberlain has a great location, a super friendly staff (they gave me a toothbrush because I forgot mine), and the accommodations are spacious and clean and modern. Don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee downstairs in the Fitting Room restaurant when you wake up. It’s food and complementary. I’m doing that right now before going to the rooftop pool to read and relax.

have stayed many places in west hollywood and this was first time at chamberlain - i booked it while on the flight based on good price and good reviews . it didn’t disappoint. the rooms are huge - and they upgraded me right after i booked. place has all that you need for comfortable stay - cute little pool. rooms have big bathroom, living room and desk area, plenty of places to plug devices- huge tv, etc. nice little restaurant (didn’t eat there but menu looked decent ) . it has the advantage of being near all the key west hollywood spots but on a quiet tree lined street with no traffic. staff friendly - ramesh is a s sweet and helpful as they say. and thankfully the place is not sceney- just comfy , and has what you need !

The room was nice and spacious. The location is good, in a really nice neighbourhood. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. Overall it was a nice hotel.

They made a reservation on our card in case of damages, and the funds were not released after a whole month after we left.

Very disappointing. We returned to the hotel at around 9:00 PM after spending the whole day out, only to find that our room hadn’t been cleaned. Even worse, our children’s room hadn’t been cleaned either. When I went to the front desk, I was told that, according to the check-in terms and conditions, housekeeping is only provided if you request it in advance. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and have never experienced a policy like this without it being clearly explained to guests. What bothered me the most was the attitude of the receptionist. She was trying to be friendly, but throughout the conversation I felt she wasn’t taking the situation seriously and was smiling while I was trying to find a solution. The only answer I received was that nobody would clean our rooms that night. On top of that, the hotel itself was disappointing. The rooms have an unpleasant smell, the property feels old and in need of renovation, the bathroom lighting is an extremely harsh white light that feels more like a hospital than a hotel, and both the pool and the pool bar are very underwhelming. Overall, a huge disappointment. The housekeeping issue made an already disappointing stay even worse. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is a hidden gem in West Hollywood. I've stayed in many hotels in the area over the years, but the Chamberlain was fantastic value for money, with all of the same advantages of some of the bigger, glitzier hotels around the similar price point. The rooms were immaculate, and the staff helpful. The rooftop pool and bar area is a little small, so getting a space is a bit of a premium, but the views are fantastic the bar prices very reasonable.

I am an early riser, 3am to have to wait until 7 am for coffee is insane. Then coffe is cut off by noon after which you pay 7.50 per cup, gain insane. I have also had to email 4 times requesting a printout of my bill which I am still waiting for 1 month later.

Great location, reasonably priced, clean rooms and quiet, service was exceptional particularly front desk and in their restaurant, a server, Faruk, a truly lovely, kind man who was delightful to engage in conversation. Had a great time. Only drawback if you can call it that, is the $70 per day parking fee, but that seems to be the normal rate in LA and close to it everywhere else these days!
