The room was well equipped, with a big and comfortable bed. The host was lovely and offered delicious homemade cake and brownies 😋 Awe also loved the complementary continental breakfast including fresh fruit and pastries.

The hosts are helpful, the rooms are lovely, great location and a good Continental breakfast is provided.

This has to be the most perfect place I have ever stayed. The owners excel themselves. The place was just stunning immaculate, the garden's beautiful. They went above and beyond caring for us on our stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

A warm, welcoming stay in a spotlessly clean house. The location is great - a 5-10 minute walk down into the centre. The rooms are spacious - we even had a 4 poster bed!!!, and cleaned daily. There is a continental breakfast included and, in the breakfast room a small fridge for guests to use. If you decide on a takeaway meal,you can use the breakfast room - plates, cutlery etc are available. A lucky find. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor seating area and a separate one (I think) for smokers although the house is, of course, smoking free.

We didn’t expect too much on arrival as the Booking.com description was basic but on stepping through the front door and meeting June the owner we were very pleasantly surprised. June showed us to our room which was very well appointed. She showed us all the facilities which, to our surprise, included a very comprehensive breakfast room. We didn’t even know that breakfast was included! Not only that there was teas and coffee and home made cake on offer. We took our drinks plus cake out into the rear garden which was delightful in the hot weather and had a lovely chat to June’s husband and general handyman, Greg. Our one night stay was very comfortable with a lovely breakfast in the morning. The location of Townhouse Rooms is just a short walk from Truro town centre with free parking a bonus right in front of the house. Meeting June and Greg, who obviously work so hard to provide a comfortable environment for their guests, was a highlight of our time in Truro. Thank you to both of you.

The owner was so helpful. I had a contact call prior to arriving and everything was ready when I arrived and I was welcomed with such kindness and attention it really was the best customer service. The owners could not have been more helpful. The room was light, spacious and immaculately clean. I really enjoyed coming back there after a long day out at work. The location is perfect with a very short walk into Truro and easy access out. Parking was available at the front or rear of the property. Breakfast was beautifully laid out in self service style with lots of pastries and toast options, yogurt and fresh fruit.

Really good choice of breakfast and lovely to sit in the garden with a coffee. Great location just 10 minutes from the centre. Hosts are very friendly and professional. Location, car parking, lovely building with beautiful garden at the rear. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and explained how to get to various places in the city centre. Although we didn’t have breakfast, we did look in to the breakfast / kitchen room and it all looked lovely. Room was nice, bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was a continental style which was complimentary. A lovely selection of teas/ coffees, fresh fruit, cheese, pastries, bread rolls, cereals, were all available. A fridge held yoghurts and milk .You just helped yourself which was lovely and relaxing .

The location was perfect.

An excellent room, very comfortable bed and a great choice of breakfast. The location is a lovely road with a delightful short walk into the city centre. The owners communicated well and were flexible when I needed to check about a possible later arrival time.

Perhaps some decor on the hall and stairs could be more contemporary but really this is very minor compared to the high standard of the bedroom and breakfast room.

Very friendly hosts who made us welcome. They were happy to share information about the town and surrounding area. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were greatly appreciated, with a refrigerator available for guests to use. The breakfast was well stocked with a nice variety of things to choose from. Parking in front for 4 vehicles, and they have some parking in the rear as well. When we come back to Cornwall, we will definitely stay here again if a room is available.

Wir hatten ein sehr komfortables Zimmer mit einem bequemen Bett und einem modernen Badezimmer. Überraschenderweise war sogar ein Frühstück inklusive. Alles war tipptopp sauber. Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich. Es gibt einen netten Garten hinterm Haus und einen Kühlschrank für mitgebrachte Speisen oder Getränke.

Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist und der Weg war ein wenig beschwerlich, denn es ging erstmal vom Bahnhof aus steil runter und dann zum Haus wieder steil rauf. Dafür kann das Townhouse nichts aber wer nicht mit dem Auto anreist, sollte das wissen. In Cornwall ist das allerdings auch nicht unüblich.

Prefect stay for a couple of nights. Very comfortable room overlooking the pretty garden. All the basics provided like kettle, tea, coffee, iron and ironing board and iron. Nice walk into the centre downhill, good exercise walking back up. Convenient parking outside. Breakfast was self service and a good range of cereals, yoghurts pastries and bread etc was available. Friendly and obliging hosts.

The owner is friendly and makes an delicious Victoria sponge cake. Our room was generous and well-furnished. The kitchen/dining area is a plus as guests can use it during the day or for dinner. The continental breakfast was good so we did not mind not having a full english option.

It was in a great location, an easy walk into town for lovely bars and restaurants. The room was lovely, it had a four poster bed and all the amenities we needed. But our favourite thing about our stay was the staff and the level of care we received. Both staff members we spoke to were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We struggled a bit to get the iron to work but honestly that was probably on us and not the iron itself!!

A beautifully decorated and maintained property, along with a very attentive and caring host makes this one of the best places to stay in Truro! Very short drive away from the centre of town and with parking space, this is ideal for a short vacation or for work.

Just returned home after a 5 night stay at the Townhouse. We arrived to be warmly welcomed by the owner who gave us lots of information and showed us to our room. This was very spacious with a lovely comfortable king size bed. The room was spotlessly clean with a large shower in the ensuite. A good continental breakfast was available in the dining room which guests can also use to bring in take away meals if they wish. There was also a lovely home made cake which guests could help themselves to every day. The owners were lovely and happy to chat and make us feel welcome. I can highly recommend for any stay in Truro.

Warm and welcoming greetings

Brilliant welcome and such lovely staff. The location is good and parking is very secure and close to the building. Very good housekeeping daily and good coffee and tea tray.

I hate to say anything bad but I wish I had known this as I would’ve stayed elsewhere- The noise in the building was pretty bad and constant. I have an odd situation starting work at 11am and finishing at 11pm every day at the theatre so I work strange hours and understand others have different schedules but I simply didn’t get a good sleep at all the whole 11 nights. You can hear absolutely everything from the other rooms, sneezing, snoring, toilets flushing, doors closing and the building is extremely creeky. I felt like I had a tap dancing elephant above me. I was woken up again and again making my stay quite unenjoyable. The rooms are okay.

Location 10 minutes walk down hill to the centre of Truro which is really handy. My bed was very comfortable though I did struggle a bit with traffic noise but that dissipated over nighttime. The Townhouse is set within a smart line of old houses with car park infront and some extra spaces to the rear. It was nice to have a continental breakfast and June made a superb fresh cake 🍰 every day for guests to have which was very nice. I asked for foam pillows rather than feather and this was swapped over for me. I truly appreciate the fact that each day I had my bed made and room refreshed, something that I’d not experienced when I stayed in a Lynton guest house… Both June and Greg were very kind hosts and I was recommended to try a couple of nice restaurants and given a map.

A great little hotel, perfect for my stay whilst working in Truro. June, the host, is welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp and clean. Value for money is absolutely top notch. There is tea and coffee on tap and breakfast is was a lovely self service continental style breakfast. If I’m working in Truro again, this will be my 1st choice of places to stay.

Fantastic hosts, clean and very comfortable room overlooking the beautiful garden. 10 minutes walk in to Truro town centre but on a very quiet road, a great pub with lovely food just 2 minutes away. Tea and coffee provided in the rooms and an exceptional continental breakfast in the breakfast room each morning. Could not fault this lovely place :)

I was making a very short visit to Truro and needed a reasonably priced stay. My research led me to Townhouse Rooms. I was warmly greeted and offered home made cake. I had some with my bedtime drink and it was delicious. My room was very spacious and had everything I needed with a very large bed! Breakfast the next morning was self service Continental but there was more than enough choice and I certainly had an adequate breakfast. Highly recommended.

Greg & June were wonderful hosts! A very enjoyable stay in a well located B&B that more than lived up to my expectations! I will certainly not hesitate to book again on a future Truro visit, and I would highly recommend to others!

We had use of the kitchen area which was great, meant I could get my mum something to eat as we arrived later than expected. We were really close to the town, easy to grab a bite from the local coop. The moment I arrived I felt weirdly interagated, & jumped on! I was rudely met, with 1000 questions! The owners also kept telling me what to do! Put the fear in to me about the drunks at night, must get a taxi! (I walked & still live to tell the tale!) The owner also came IN my room with me to show me everything, felt very unusal. I understand others may welcome this. However, for me, over the top!
