Sehr sauber - sehr freundlich - direkt im Zentrum mit gesichertem Hotelparkplatz - sehr gute Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto.

Zimmer 27: Fußboden sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Bad extrem schief - Seekrankheitsgefahr! Direkt über der Lüftungsanlage der Küche - zwar keinerlei Geruch, aber extrem laut bis etwa 21.30 Uhr - bis dahin auch keine Fensteröffnung möglich! Lüftung wird um 07.00 Uhr wieder gestartet!

Mannings staff were very accommodating in getting our room cleaned early so that we could have a shower after finishing the Truro half marathon which was really appreciated

The bathroom are a little outdated with a shower curtain and could really be a lot nicer with a glass panel

Nice large comfortable room. Ideally located in the centre of town and next to the theatre. A decent continental breakfast.

No lift and stairs were a bit of a problem due to recent surgery. Water pressure in shower was poor.

Rooms were clean and of a good standard for the price. Staff were friendly.

Our first room was on the rear of the hotel, directly above the kitchens. We were sleeping with the window open because the room was hot. When the kitchen extractor fans were switched on at six am, it was like an aircraft landing in the room. Even with window shut it was 85db in our room, and the smell of stale grease seemed to be blowing directly into the room. Not a great way to be woken up! They managed to move us for the second night to the third floor but still on back of hotel. It was quieter, but still very noticeable when the kitchen fans were switched on. That room also had exposed beams directly above the side of the bed. despite my best efforts to avoid them, I did manage to bang my head several times when getting out of bed in the dark. Bed was also a little on the small side, with a very firm mattress, and pillows seemed mismatched and tired. Functional but not exactly luxurious… All in all, would not recommend.

Spędziliśmy w tym hotelu tylko 1 noc ze względu na poranny pociąg z Truro. Pan w recepcji bardzo miły. Pokój duży, czysty i wygodny. Lokalizacja hotelu w samym centrum. Możliwość skorzystania z restauracji w tym samym budynku.

Brak windy: z ciężkimi walizkami musieliśmy wchodzić po schodach na 2 piętro. Brak parkingu: ulica pod hotelem była zamknięta. Śniadanie raczej z tych podstawowych, wybór bardzo słaby - początkowo wydawało nam się, że pomyliliśmy sale. Tabliczka "sery i wędliny dostępne na żądanie" - to trochę dziwne. Jajka na ciepło tylko za dopłatą - wybór z menu śniadaniowego. Zapłaciliśmy za pokój ze śniadaniem, ale musieliśmy dodatkowo zapłacić 12 GBP za porcję grzanek z jajkiem. Ogólnie cena pobytu za wysoka w porównaniu do jakości.

Sijainti oli erinomainen, aivan keskellä Truroa. Hotellin tarjoama ilmainen ja turvallinen parkkipaikka porttien takana oli tosi hyvä.

Advertised breakfast included should have said continental misleading no coffee machine as described toiletries thimble size only enough for two mornings 1and a half toilet rolls the cooker oven didn’t work photographed continental breakfast advertised showed round cheeses and meats but had to ask for this one prossesed slice of ham and one square of cheese tasteless didn’t want it again perhaps that was the idea coffee sachets only lasted two days the room wasn’t the one pictured and for the price should have English breakfast included also thawed out berries mushy berries for breakfast

Location, welcoming staff, lovely accommodation in the apartment and excellent security.

We were allocated a lovely 1 bedroom apartment which had everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay if that is the way you want to stay. We had continental breakfast included which was more than adequate. Right in the heart of Truro, with secure parking included. There is even car washing materials and equipment available for you to use!

There was nothing we didn't like.

Good central location near to bus station and short downhill walk from train station. Staff friendly and helpful and building had lots of charming character.

Breakfast was very basic with some elements of a continental breakfast available only on request and coffee was almost tasteless. Note: 2 ply toilet paper in bathroom is always a false economy as twice as much is used for the same result!

Continental breakfast was a bit ordinary, felt like a cafeteria.

The hotel appears to have been refurbished recently and all finishes and furnishings were extremely good. The standard breakfast is continental but with a good selection and there are cooked options available. Secure parking is provided on site.

The only downside was the lack of lift which could prove awkward if you're on the upper floors and with a heavy suitcase

Parking is easy and protected in gated area. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Right in the centre of Truro, which is great for when visiting events at Hall for Cornwall or the cathedral. Lovely feeling to the hotel and has a fantastic restaurant. The breakfast was continental with a variety of choices.

One thing to note, there is not a lift to the first or second floor if mobility is poor. But the stairs are not too steep.

The location is great and on site gated parking a real plus. The apartment was clean and tidy. The check-in was friendly and efficient. The check out is not too early (11am). The bed was a good size.

The fridge for our apartment needs to include a freezer box. We would have liked breakfast later (say until 10.30am everyday). The mattress was too hard and made my hips ache by the morning.

Fantastic Location right in the centre of town. Staff very pleasant. Included continental breakfast was good.

My room was very small and had distinct drain smell - very noticeable in the night. (Rm 35)

Location and secure car park. The apartment was well equipped and laid out. The bed was comfortable and very large. The bathroom was a decent size.

Sound proofing between floors could have been better. The fridge was so loud we had to turn it off at night. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable, looked good but not for use. A towel rail or hook next to the handbasin would be a useful addition to an otherwise good bathroom.

The location is fantastic, right in the city centre, near to all the facilities. The private car park is a great facility

Room was far too hot. Breakfast window is only two hours and, even for a continental breakfast one had to request to be brought the ham and cheese, it wasn't simple or too help oneself.

The hotel was nice and pleasant. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious. Comfortable bed, nice bed sheets. Clean bathroom.

Unfortunately, our room was next to the huge air conditioning block which started working around 5 am. It was very noisy in the room even with a closed window. Also, the continental breakfast (included in the room rate) was very mediocre - tea, coffee, the cheap slice of cheese and ham, some bread.

Room, nice and comfy, plenty of tea and milk. Breakfast delicious, very generous, location perfect.

Dinner was odd. Fish was dry and came with a mountain of salad and fresh fruit that was not listed on the menu. We were ignored by the waiting staff for around 15 minutes after main course and eventually had to ask if we could see the dessert menu. Poor atmosphere

Woken at 7am by housekeeping staff talking very loudly outside our room. Hardly any tea bags or coffee in room. Receptionist was very unfriendly. Wouldn’t check to see if we could check in early and refused to allow us to use the lavatory - sending us to public facilities next door. Dark and dated dining room.

Die Zimmer sind sehr, sehr klein und es war extrem laut. Die Straße war vor dem Fenster und eine unglaublich laute Baustelle. Ich hatte extra zuvor gefragt, ob ich ein ruhigeres Zimmer haben könnte, was auf der anderen möglich gewesen wäre.

Mannings is our go to hotel in Truro, right in the centre with easy free parking. The friendly helpful staff are lovely. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good bar and restaurant. Definitely stay here again

- expérience not in line with reservation: a bathtub was indicated upon reservation and we were attributed a shower. Staff just said that the whole hotel was booked and didn’t try to find an alternative. - WC was smelly. The whole bathroom smelled of piss. We had to close the bathroom door. - loud and constant noise of seagulls all night long made impossible to have a nice rest.

Top floor rooms get really hot in the summer. The air con in the room doesn’t blow cold air just cool air.

The hotel is in a great central position in Truro. From the minute we arrived the staff made us very welcome. It was extremely clean. The continental breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and was replenished regularly.

Proximity to Hall for Cornwall is 2nd to none.

The room rate was priced ok for type of room, i was disapointed that for a hot breakfast offering you have to pay extra, i think at the rate it should be included without extra cost.

The room needed the supplied electric fan to make the room temperature more bearable. The hotel recognises this problem.

We loved the location of the hotel .

To tell the truth I was very disappointed with the room. We were going to stay for 3 nights but it was expensive so we cut it down to 2 nights as the photos on the web site were stunning , really nice plush rooms . But the room we got was as basic as a cheep one in Blackpool. Very deceiving when you book , you think your going to have a lovely room as advertised. This was my birthday treat and I imagined the room a lot better than what we got . It was a shame as like I said we would have stayed in Truro for 3 nights which is a lovely place we’d never been to before but we compromised the extra night for this the extra date for the supposedly nice room .

Room 40 had a small leak above the window which had been repaired but failed and wet some clothes . The staff recovered the situation promptly and washed and dried the clothes and moved rooms . I wouldn't mark them down for this they were great .

Food average at best with top dollar charged. Rooms and decor tired. Breakfast your typical extortionate rate for what cost them a couple of pounds at most. Bar shuts for residents at 11 and at nearly £200 a night all of the above says they’re milking it in a town with few other alternatives. Next time I’ll get an Airbnb.

Nice comfortable beds and friendly staff at reception. However, it was very hot when we stayed and there were no large fans available which made the night a little long! Breakfast was basic (no cooked included in the price). Staff at breakfast were a little curt, but answered our queries. Very central for Truro so great location with lots of parking at the rear of the hotel.

We arrived on a Monday and the bar shut at 9:00pm which was a shame for an evening night cap.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Ample breakfast. Classic and historic building adding to the atmosphere and right at the centre of town.

Unfortunately no lift as its a listed building, understandable. Otherwise no complaints.
