I really liked the location, the cost, the services, and the welcome gift. The room is great with an office desk and lots of storage. it provided kitchen resources which was great. I also utilised the gym, which was fantastic considering I need physical activity. I liked the side lamps, including the office desk lamp. I like the colour black, it is sophisticated. the staff were amazing and accommodating.

I am very fussy with my beds. The bed is too firm and does not have a pillow top or thick mattress topper which is vital for my hip condition. Additionally, the air conditioner was broken. The staff did offer to put me in another room, but I had already unpacked and settled. This should be checked daily. I did not appreciate the city noise.

Excelentemente ubicado, muy bueno el desayuno. Viajé con mi hijo adolescentes y tuvimos 2 camas separadas muy cómodas. Tener una kitchenette en la habitación hace que sea muy cómodo cuando estás cansado y no querés comer afuera. El personal muy amable. Recomendable!

This is our fourth stay here and the Edit has been consistent with comfortable, clean rooms and friendly service. We love the location, Queen St is close and a short walk to the waterfront and viaduct. The train station is opening right out front which is going to be perfect for events.

We have stayed here many times. This time I travelled with my daughter and stayed in a double take room on level 13. Very comfy beds, good desk incl lamp to work on, kitchen utensils a bit sparse but ok for one night. Bathroom updated except shower, but good water pressure. Overall, another great stay.

The rooms to the back of the building like this room are subject to construction noise from around 7am.

Central inner city location (close to and views from our room of Sky Tower). Spaceous rooms (high ceilings in ours) and had all the facilities we needed for our one night stay. Friendly, helpful staff Outstanding vale for money

Functional rather than fashionable decor - but OK nonetheless

Easy location for our event , was clean and big and had exactly what we needed for an overnight stay (2 Adults)

Located very close to Sky Tower, having a Woolworth store right beside it and having lots of options for lunch/dinner in the proximity.

We would have appreciated to have more than a pair of cutlery and glasses/teacups. Also a toilet brush should be added in the bathroom.

Friendly staff and very central, handy to Airport Sky Drive bus.

My biggest problem was that the room was not soundproffed in any way so the nights were difficult to survive seeing how loud was it at night

I knew it could be noisy due to street noise but I didn’t expect to hear the elevator every time it went up and down all night while trying to sleep

the facilities were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, I had a super king bed which was very comfy. Also my trip involved a lot of walking so it was in a prime location where I needed to go to Aotea Square, Koro Te Kanawa Centre, Queen Street, Sky Tower..I would definitely stay there again maybe on the 10th floor next time. I still rate The Edit 10/10

The shower pressure was a tad slow

Excellent service, Staff were extremely courteous, helpful, thoughtful and generous. Very comfortable bed, spacious suite, lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Perfect location in CBD. Easy to find. Would definitely recommend, and we would stay again.

Handy central location, car park option good although wouldn’t want a big car! Additional free upgrade was appreciated.

Bathroom shower could do with a refresh, cleaners need to pay attention to grout around bench top sink stand / join.

Excellent value for such a central location.

Big shout out to the Duty Manager Rafiq. He was extremely accommodating to my requests for a room change both for comfort and so my daughter and partner could join me. We agreed this could be ready by the next afternoon but first thing in the morning it was already ready, he and his team went above and beyond in ensuring my comfort. The refurbished rooms are modern, well equipped and comfortable.

The location was perfect for us. The room was a good size with a separate bedroom

We were on the side where there is construction happening in the building next to the Edit Hotel. The noise was very loud and continued very late into Thursday night and restarted very early on Friday morning. As a result our sleep was heavily disrupted that night. We checked the window latches in the bedroom and noticed they were loose. This caused the noise to be louder than it would have been had the window latched tightly closed. Maybe be a bit picky, but good sleep is important. A couple of coffee mugs would have been a good addition. There are only 2 tea cups and saucers.

The reception staff were fantastic - very helpful and pleasant at all times. Great location.

The place is a bit worn here and there - there’s a funny smell in one of the lifts and an unpleasant smell coming from the shower drain, but nothing truly awful. The street outside is noisy at night, so bring earplugs.

Front desk staff was very kind

While the hotel provided instructions to get into the parking garage, it was difficult to get to due to the location. The garage is very narrow so just something to be aware of.

酒店很方便，就在皇后街附近，楼下就是热闹的街道，购物交通都很方便，而且前台非常好，还为我们中国人提供筷子。最好的是有免费的行李存放，方便我们退房后在皇后街购物，晚上坐飞机离开。下次去奥克兰还会再次入住。

Its been our second stay in three months and we have been up graded twice. We really love the location, Woolworths Warehouse and Civic Centre only minutes away.

Entrance way, you need to keep your staff warm, a possible see through partition to block out the cold breeze from the front door. They can still see those entering and they are kept warm.

Exceptional service from the reception team. After long travels, we really enjoyed our stay at Edit. The suite was very clean, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The bed felt like sleeping on clouds. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The central location is great - particularly for the price. Rooms were a great size and the central living/dining was a great bonus to be able to relax.

The carpark is tight, but manageable.

Location allows reaching markets and important businesses. Room is clean and has enough facilities ac/heat pump, electric iron, kettle, microwave, tv etc. Bed is sufficiently big and soft pillows. Plenty of space in drawers etc to put stuff Appreciated the readily accessible lights buttons from the bed no need to leave your bed to switch off. The staff were helpful when I needed to print an emergency document for myself.

Toilet slippers or equivalent were going to be an excellent addition. The lack of a recycling rubbish bin in the room is also another thing I did not like. Had to leave the building downstairs to throw my recycling.

Heating was not working we did get told we got a upgrade but it honestly felt like we got a downgrade we may have be on the highest level but the whole room was super cold shower head was sprinkling everywhere but we are glad we didnt take it and made it a bad week
