Auckland City Hotel - Hobson St

Location Comfort Service Price

Tiny parking space The bathroom had a funky smell

Great location for the event we were in town for.

Location and comfort

The breakfast buffet was exemplary and I’m glad I included it with our room.

The parking garage is incredibly small and difficult to navigate.

Central location and big room. The staff was very nice.

The pillows were uncomfortable and the kettle had mould in it.

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. I loved having a kitchenette in the room. The front desk staff, John and Kevin were very helpful.

Nothing at all

I liked the split apartment - updates bedroom & downstairs living room.

I didn’t like the shower too small , not enough towels & lining. Also asking for ID of all the people who stayed was crazy. But good!

It’s location

Location to Aotea Ctr

Pre arrival communication was lacking

The location for our event was perfect.

The noise from the fridge

Sauber, unkompliziert. Rezeptionistin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Gutes Frühstück!

That it was very central to everything

Quite outdated. There was patches on the ceiling where there had been water leaks that they had just patched over rather than actually fixing. The lock on the bathroom door kept getting stuck. One bedroom door was sliding and the other a normal door. Neither of which had locks. Didn’t have a TV in either bedroom. For the price I would have expected a seperate toilet from the bathroom or for the main bedroom to have its own toilet at least.

Great place to stay in Central Auckland. Had a lovely dinner there as well as a great breakfast

Proximité de la ville

Pas assez de vaisselle.

Vị trí và thái độ phục vụ

Yes all good would come back next time also, great to play pool downstairs

Everything, location, staff, nothing a bother!

Scaffolding was a bit of a pain but it had to be done, everything was great. An

We were happy to be able to count on this stay for the 4th time. Clean room, good staff, great location.

The whole experience was great

No flannels in the bathroom would be my only complaint

Great location. Friendly staff

Beds were very uncomfortable and not stable

Todo muy bien

Very central, large room with hot plates, microwave and fridge. Comfy beds and adjustable heating

This building and area are very nostalgic for me. A man at the reception was so friendly, and showed me around the building. I was very grateful for that!!! Thank you! The breakfast was awesome!

I understand that it is an old building, but we found that the shower did pool a little. It seemed that the plughole may have been a little blocked?

Ease of access

Nothing

Great location. Near airport bus stop. Near city centre

Bedside lamp in room not working. Not allowed take my coffee from breakfast to bedroom

Clean, spacious, comfortable bed, good location

I arrived quite early and the staff were very helpful and did pre check in for me . While I waited it was nice and warm.

I think some wine glasses would be nice as I’d to have mine in a normal glass.

Location was fantastic, very central for walking to events, and amazingly well placed to drive out of the city without hassle.

The parking is limited or had already filled up, which added some unforseen stress and expense to our trip. Staff were helpful and proactive in suggesting nearby alternates.

Room was clean

Parking wasnt great abit more info about public parking next before arrival would have good. Was a little hard to find hotel at first with all the scaffolding made signage hard to see in auckland peak traffic.

Atafd in the Dining area was superb.

The bed was cery soft, springs of the bed felt. Note aaid extra pullows in the hanging closet, though nothing could be found. Milk was vwey small containers could not use in the hot chocolate.

The receptionist, she was very patient and informative

Nothing

Very clean, great staff, good central location close to everything. Modern and well maintained. Good parking.

There was nothing I disliked.

Really welcoming receptionists, good room with amenities, good value for money

Hobson street is one of the streets where you are advised not to go in Auckland, right behind k road

La limpieza i confort
