We had an amazing time at the Cove with Zoe and Luciana!! They gave great service, and made our night awesome. We loved talking and hanging out with them, and would come back just to see them. Best service ever.
Everything --- staff was great
Nothing yo complain abour
Dined at the steakhouse for our anniversary in July What a incredible experience starting with John Paul Our waiter Carlos made our dining experience special we truly enjoyed visiting with him. From the appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend the lobster risotto with crab meat Thank you, The Steakhouse for making our anniversary memorable JHC
Room and view were very good.
loud noise in room next to us every night.
pool, restaurants, staff, valet.
better pricing for valet parking
Spa was an amazing experience. Customer service was excellent and it was a special feel by the time we left!!
We spent a few days before school started and this was the perfect getaway! Food, atmosphere and staff were all amazing!
My husband and I stayed for our 25 year anniversary and had an amazing time! The staff at the hotel was so welcoming and friendly! Everyone that helped us throughout our stay made it so much more enjoyable. Regina Ackermann knew everything about the resort and made sure our stay was memorable. Dustin Richard checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Caleb and Natalie R at the cove were very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a relaxing get away in a resort setting. We had a wonderful time.
can’t recommend staying here. The rooms are dated and the cleanliness was a real problem — I had to be moved twice during my stay. The common areas are attractive and the staff were consistently friendly, but the rooms themselves don’t hold up to a four-star standard, or honestly even a three-star one. For what they charge per night, the value simply isn’t there. I’d suggest Hotel Grand Galvez instead — comparable pricing, recently renovated, and noticeably cleaner.
Our late birthday celebration stay at the San Luis Resort was nothing shy of perfect. The atmosphere, amenities and environment were everything we’d heard about (this was our first stay) and hoped for. All of it was made top notch however by the customer service and above-and-beyond care shown by Brandon. Always available and going beyond the call-Brandon’s professionalism, customer care and diligence really made our stay the best. Well done-keep up the great work. We look forward to our next visit!
When we checked in we were told the windows had a small Crack. Thr entire windows was shattered between the windows panes.
I did not like the glass being shattered and paying full price.
The breakfast, and the location was excellent
Everything was great I have no complaints
Navisa is incredible!! She talked to me about things in my body that would help me in the future.. she is incredible and an awesome benefit of this resort.. She’s is an amazing seed!
The entire stay was beyond my expectations
Spa was great. really good customer service. cleanliness was A+. atmosphere was really calm and relaxing. perfect location near beach. value to service is great. the massage was spectacular. will be back soon.
We have been coming to The San Luis for years, and there is a reason we continue to come back summer after summer! We are always treated so well, but what makes it even more special is how many of the staff members remember us from previous visits. That kind of personalized service is so rare, and it truly makes The San Luis feel like our home away from home in Galveston. We spent a lot of time at The Cove this trip, and once again the service was amazing. Jowell is always so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to our family. She goes out of her way to make each visit feel personalized, and we always appreciate how well she takes care of us! Luciana was our waitress at The Cove all weekend, and we absolutely loved her! She was incredibly friendly and attentive, and she even remembered us from our last visit. It means so much when someone remembers you and makes you feel genuinely welcomed back. We will definitely be asking for Luciana again the next time we visit! Zoe, our bartender, was also so friendly and made our time at the pool even more enjoyable. The valet team was wonderful as always. A huge thank-you to Hayes, Holden, David Stinson, Reed, Emiliono, and Danny for taking such great care of us. Danny was especially friendly and helpful bringing all of our luggage down at checkout and was such a great way to end our stay. Another thing we really appreciated was how welcoming everyone was to our dog, Georgia. The staff made her feel comfortable and welcome everywhere we went, which means so much to us when traveling with her. It really felt like our entire family was taken care of. What keeps us coming back to The San Luis isn’t just the beautiful resort and pool, it’s the people. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, and being greeted by familiar faces who remember us year after year makes every visit feel special. We already look forward to coming back soon! Thank you to everyone at The San Luis for another wonderful stay!
Good location. Good facilities. Liked that there were really good restaurants on location.
The only thing I would say is such a high end property should have better toilet paper. Buy the good stuff.
We had the absolute best time celebrating my friends birthday at the San Luis Rwsort H2O Pool! We got a cabana and amazing service from the staff! Amanda, Ryder, Madison, Pilar and Simon worked so hard to make sure we had an amazing day! Thank you!!
Absolute 10/10 experience at San Luis H2O Pool! The service from start to finish was completely unmatched. Amanda managed everything seamlessly and made us feel so welcome, Maddison was serving up the absolute best drinks behind the bar with incredible energy, Pinar was attentive and kept our table taken care of all day as our server, and Ryder went above and beyond as assistant to ensure everything ran smoothly. You can truly tell this team cares about their guests. We will definitely be back soon!
Had a great experience at the San Luis H2O Pool! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the atmosphere even better. Amanda, the manager, Maddison, the bartender, Pinar, the server, and Ryder, the assistant, all deserve recognition for their hard work and great service. Definitely a fun spot to relax and enjoy the pool!
To say the service was exceptional is an understatement. Amanda the manager was extremely helpful considering we were a large group. Madison served us up some delicious cocktails. Pinar with the help of Ryder we’re very tentative on getting food and drinks to us consistently throughout the day. You have a fabulous team working at H2O. Thank you for an extremely wonderful experience.
Very nice
Price was a bit high
Always a great time at the San Luis! Zoe and Jayden made the experience even more extraordinary! Even though they were incredibly busy throughout the day they still made time to ensure I was taken care of. The customer service rivals the ocean views, the not thing that could’ve made this experience better was if Lacy was here!
The grounds are beautiful, but that’s about where the positives end. If you happen to be there when the owner is in town, the whole place shifts into spectacle mode. He arrives by helicopter, landing on the very visible helipad out front — prime Seawall real estate — making sure every tourist, jogger, and driver sees it. It’s loud, disruptive, and throws the staff into a frenzy, and the whole resort feels like it’s performing for one person instead of serving its guests. Inside the room, the raised bowl sink had a perpetual ring of gunk around the back that looked like a science experiment no one wanted to claim. Beds were comfortable enough, and no one woke up with back pain, but the cream/earth‑tone palette felt less like a design choice and more like the cheapest option someone could bulk‑order. Pretty property, but the experience doesn’t justify the reputation.
La piscina , el trato de las personas estuvo súper bien
El precio de la habitación si estaba alto y la habitación no tiene nada fuera de lo común
We spent the weekend, celebrating a 60th Birthday! I highly recommend this hotel/resort for a special occasion or just a get away to relax. The resort staff took such great care of us with excellent customer service! The Steak restaurant was wonderful with elegance and the breakfast food/service took notice of every detail to make it memorable for our group. The Cabana/Private little pool area staff members made our days so fun. Grotto’s is located right off the pool for a fun lunch/dinner by the pool! Can’t wait until next time! A huge shout out to all the staff!!!
What an incredible stay at the St Luis Resort. A terrific 60th celebration with girlfriends, it was so special. So many staff members made it a point to stop by for birthday wishes and making sure we had everything we needed and wanted. It was a red carpet weekend for sure. Thank you to the amazing staff and your attention to every detail. 5 star Resort!!!!! Our rooms were connected so we could all be together and very accommodating. We will be back again soon to celebrate!!! Thank you Everyone 💜
Have always had the best time here, thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the experience. Especially the fabulous staff. Lacy in particular was a warm and friendly stand out. Will definitely be coming back!
We’ve been coming here for 15 years, and the past 3 years we have encountered the most amazing staff including Zoe, Dylan, Jowell, Pinar, Caleb, and Audrey. Always a great time and the staff makes the place what it is.
The Villas Team was exceptional! They gave us the most amazing experience ever!! Sarah, McKenzie, and Ivan are so welcoming, helpful, and professional. Loved our stay, and they most definitely made it better for us all.
Had a great experience with the bar service at the pool, specifically Zoe and Jayden were great with attending to everyone and checking up to help consistently! Also the food was great!
Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the pool bar and food. Zoe is an absolute doll. Very attentive and so sweet. Will definitely be back to visit the resort and Zoe.
We came to celebrate our anniversary. It was amazing from the start. Marichka Rondiak made everything a million times better. She took care of us from the start and helping us with our cabana. From the first impression to the champagne to the delicious fruit. Would recommend 10 of 10. Best time ever.
It was great time with the bartenders doing an excellent job
Zoe and Jayden are the best. They were so amazing.. so attentive so kind and entertaining. My trip would not have been the same if they didn’t take care of me. 5 stars.
WOW!! I’m from Miami but the service from Zoe and Jayden was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They were so on top of everything from food to drinks. We never had to worry about a thing. Top tier, A-List celebrity service for sure.
Service next to none. The Cove bar is my favorite place to be, especially when Zoe and Jayden are behind the bar. Their service is great, attitude positive, and a great experience overall. They are the best!!
A great hotel right on the beach in Galveston. Lovely reception and bar area serving great cocktails. The best part was the pool which was immaculately well maintained. Super friendly staff. Nice views which were made better by the local pelicans soaring around the hotel. My only suggestion is they refresh the bedrooms which had rather dated furniture /bathroom and didn’t look that clean. Level 10 the club level isn’t anything special. The bed was super comfortable and clean though. Overall I would go back thanks
Hayden was exceptional and gave I and my friend VIP treatment. Thank you
Pool
The bracelet was not enough to get drinks at the pool. Had to go back up to room to get ID
Had an enjoyable dinner at The Steakhouse last weekend, as always. The decor, ambience, and service are always top notch. Appetizers, and entrees were cooked to perfection delivered by our professional and knowledgeable waiter. Always impressed by the way John Paul runs this establishment. Very consistent and always one of the best fine dining restaurants in Galveston.
The staff
The shower was either hot or cold, I couldn’t adjust it
Shalonda has the touch. The pressure was perfect and she targeted areas that needed attention that I didn’t even mention, in addition to the ones I did. Extremely professional and very skilled massage therapists are worth their weight in gold and Shalonda is one of them. I only wish I lived closer so I could come here more often! The locker rooms, the meditation room, and the treatment rooms were all well appointed and clean. Check in was easy. The layout of the lobby / retail space is a little cramped and awkward and I didn’t really know what to do with myself while I waited, but it was brief and an attendant got me a robe and sandals and showed me to the locker room quickly so I could get changed. Five stars are all for Shalonda, 3.5 for the facilities.
Atmosphere
Non smoking
We went to the steakhouse Saturday night. It was hustling like a New York restaurant. Full. Exciting. The manager John Paul was great. Running the show. Like an orchestra. We go out of town all the time he never stopped. The food and service was impeccable. Lazar from Serbia and Andres from Columbia took care of us. Great band in the bar. Surprised this restaurant is in Galveston. A must!
San Luis is a beautiful hotel/conference center. Pricey, but lovely. Our stay was short, from 4 pm to 10 am but we enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the wristband keycard, especially for a beach and resort hotel.
Self parking was $30. Valet was $45. Hummm? Maybe I was paying for good security?
The rooms could benefit from some refurbishment. I noticed that my balcony was not well-maintained. I believe that the view from the premises should be pleasant, without any rust or dirt. However, I must say that the ocean view is truly remarkable.
Sound Bath was an absolute wonderful Experience. Candace and her team did an amazing job hosting the event. The fresh made juice after was a special bonus WOW!
Todo!
Todo bien
Great Pool Experience
nothing
*the feeling of being on vacation and not even having to leave the resort *Tropical island vibes *Planned daily schedule for kids and adults *The view and balcony *Staff *The valets were the friendliest and made you feel welcomed EVERY single time you were coming or going! *Kids had a blast with movie nights (popcorn and lemonade 🍋) * The absolute best place to stay!
*having to pack up and go home *No microwave in our room
All of the amenities are amazing. The staff is fantastic!!
For a resort, there should be towels provided to take to the beach. Dropped off on return, of course.
We stayed two night at the San Luis. When we made our reservation, we requested a corner room as high up as possible overlooking the beach. Upon arrival, we were assigned room number 1527 which is at the end of the corridor on the west end of the building. The view was superb. The facility was as nice as any hotel we have ever visited anywhere in the world. The bed was excellent. The bathroom was sparkling and well equipped. The staff made our stay memorable. We are happy to recommend this establishment.
Had a great time at the bar with Jayden! Lovely experience!
The atmosphere, the room, the robes and I wish I had a.chance to try out room service!
I didn't like that people were able to eat and drink by and in the pool. I saw people dropping food and dripping drinks into the water. There should also be more attention/restrictions to the kids that go to the adult sections in and around the pool.
The San Luis Resort has long been considered the premier destination on Galveston Island, and after spending the Fourth of July weekend there celebrating America’s 250th birthday with my family, I can absolutely see why people love it. It has an energy that’s difficult to find anywhere else along the Texas coast. From the moment you walk through the front doors, you’re welcomed into an elegant, upscale atmosphere. The lobby is beautiful, the ocean views are inviting, and the property has a true resort feel. As someone from the Houston area, it’s one of the few places that genuinely feels like you’ve escaped for a vacation without boarding a plane. In many ways, it reminds me of a resort in Cancun. One of the things I appreciate most is that it’s not an all-inclusive resort. Personally, I enjoy having choices, and the San Luis offers several excellent dining options. Whether you’re in the mood for an exceptional steak dinner, Italian cuisine, casual poolside dining, or coffee and gelato, everything is conveniently located on the property. The Fourth of July festivities were exceptionally well done. The pool area was festive and beautifully decorated, complimentary snow cones were a thoughtful touch, floats filled the pool, and there were activities for families throughout the day. It created a wonderful atmosphere for making memories with our adult children, and that was exactly what I had hoped this trip would be. Unlike many of my other travels this year, I didn’t come with an itinerary, I simply wanted uninterrupted time with my family, and in that respect, the resort delivered. Unfortunately, everything changes once you open the door to your guest room. I booked our rooms nearly four months in advance, and they were a little over $600 per night before taxes and fees. At that price point, the guest rooms simply do not reflect the rest of the property’s luxury image. This wasn’t my first stay, either. I stayed at the San Luis back in 2015, and to my surprise, much of the furniture appears to be the very same furniture that was there over a decade ago. Even then, it already felt tired. I returned last year hoping renovations had finally happened, but they hadn’t. After this stay, it’s clear the guest rooms still have not received the attention they deserve. The rooms feel dated and neglected. Lamps wobble because the bases are loose, many of the lamp bases show visible rust, bathroom fixtures are corroded, mildew is visible around some of the air vents, and portions of the furniture are peeling. I completely understand the challenges of maintaining a beachfront property where salt air takes its toll, but visible wear at this level is difficult to overlook when you’re paying luxury resort prices. Ironically, the contrast became even more apparent during this trip. A friend of mine couldn’t secure a room at the San Luis because he booked too late, so he stayed at the Hotel Galvez instead. He joined us for dinner and later showed me photos of his room. They were stunning. The Galvez underwent a renovation about seven or eight years ago, yet the rooms still look immaculate. They’re fresh, contemporary, beautifully appointed, and exactly what I expected to find at the San Luis. The San Luis unquestionably has the superior resort amenities. The restaurants are outstanding, the pool is beautiful, the grounds are vibrant, and the overall atmosphere is second to none on the island. But when it comes to the guest rooms, I have to give the edge to the Galvez. What puzzles me is that the San Luis is owned by a company that clearly understands luxury hospitality. The same ownership has created extraordinary destinations, including The Post Oak Hotel in Houston, which is one of the finest luxury hotels in Texas. They know what excellence looks like. That’s why it’s so surprising that the guest rooms at the San Luis have been allowed to age for so long while the rest of the property continues to shine. It almost feels as though all the investment has gone into the spectacular lobby, restaurants, pool, and common areas, while the one place guests spend the most personal time, their rooms has been left behind. At the end of the day, that’s where people retreat to rest, recharge, and lay their heads after a day of making memories. Those rooms should feel every bit as luxurious as the first impression the resort gives you. This review isn’t meant to discourage anyone from visiting because there is so much the San Luis does exceptionally well. The service, dining, pool, and overall resort experience remain among the best on Galveston Island. But I sincerely hope management makes guest room renovations a priority. The public spaces promise luxury. The rooms should fulfill that promise. Until that happens, I’ll happily continue visiting the San Luis for its incredible restaurants, celebrations, and resort amenities. But for overnight stays, I’ll likely be checking into the Hotel Galvez instead. I’ll admit it I appreciate a beautiful hotel room. When you’re investing nearly $700 a night, it’s not unreasonable to expect the room to feel as luxurious as everything else the resort has to offer.
Our family had a wonderful time July 4th weekend. The service was fantastic . Zoe & Pinar were excellent and we will definitely be back!!
I had the best experience at the swim up bar Friday Saturday and Sunday during the fourth of July weekend. I opted to go to the bar instead of our cabana hostess, it was super busy not her fault. But, can I say Zoe remember my orders all weekend, very professional and very enthusiastic and just the best bartender I have ever seen. She was absolutely on point! I hope to see her there on my next visit. A+ experience.
Very clean and nice environment
The building , the lobby. The swimming pool , rooms are smaller compare to others hotels
We had such a wonderful experience thanks to the front desk clerk Skylar. My husband and I rarely get the chance to have a date night and he truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. He took the extra time to help make sure everything was perfect for us, and his thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed. It meant so much to us to be able to relax and enjoy a much-needed night together, and his exceptional customer service played a huge part in that. Employees like him make all the difference, and we are so grateful for the care and effort he put into making our stay memorable. Thank you for helping give two busy parents a special night to remember!
We loved our stay! Day two in the private cabanas with ocean views and a plunge pool was divine. Alexandria took great care of us and was an absolute delight. Will return!
Avoid this hotel if you expect basic hospitality or security for your property. I stayed here from 7/3–7/5/26 (Res #461985458512) and experienced a complete failure by management.Upon arrival, my room was not check-in ready and the bathroom sink was clogged. When I complained, Rachel, the Front Desk Manager, was incredibly rude and dismissive, making excuses by telling me there are over 200 rooms in the hotel. While she offered to comp the valet fee, she subsequently had my vehicle removed from the valet lot entirely without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse, the valet staff repeatedly ignored my phone calls to bring my vehicle to the front, despite plenty of space being available. Moving a guest’s car without permission is an absolute liability nightmare. Corporate has been notified, but save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere."
The San Luis Resort is amazing! We are repeat customers and love this resort. Pinar is an exceptional server in the pool area. She is kind, polite, friendly, professional, and really cares about her guests. We always look forward to seeing her and we request her for cabana service as well. Pinar is simply the best!
Joe at the valet was great today, he was great helping us relocate, we appreciate his help!
Terry in the spa did my massage & facial she did a wonderful job. Best massage I’ve experienced
Shalanda gave me a wonderful 80 minute deep tissue massage. Massage table and room were very comfortable and all spa staff were attentive and friendly.
Had a nice experience in the bar on Saturday. Connor, Corbin, Zoe and Wesley were very attentive, professional and kind. We had never been to the bar area before and glad we decided to pop in for a cocktail and a quick bite to eat.
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, clean resort. We enjoyed the pool (the staff was attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious!). The spa was amazing and relaxing! The beach is close with several great restaurants close by, and the views are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!
Amazing experience! Top notch service, friendly and professional staff everywhere. Shout out to Lacy at the Cove pool bar! He was very attentive, friendly and professional. I will definitely come back soon!
Always a treat to stay
The suite we ordered wasn’t available and was misleading.
Noah at the Cove was amazing!!! He was so sweet and kind! Amazing service!
Noah at the bar ( The Cove) was absolutely amazing! Genuinely the best bartender. Super friendly and attentive.
Noah at the cove was great!!!!
Zoe was one of the best bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She is smart efficient and attentive. I almost offered her a job. Thanks again Zoe for making my night great
Best massage ever!! 100% recommend
Highly recommend, Navisa knew exactly what she was doing!
My fiancé and I had a couples massage today at the San Luis Spa, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. I had Katherine as my massage therapist, and my fiancé had Navasi. Both of them were phenomenal! Katherine was attentive, professional, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire massage. She did an amazing job relieving tension while creating such a relaxing experience. My fiancé couldn’t stop talking about how great Navasi was as well and said it was one of the best massages he’s ever had. The spa itself is beautiful, peaceful, and truly feels like an escape. Every staff member we encountered was kind and attentive, making the entire visit feel luxurious and stress-free. We left feeling completely refreshed, relaxed, and already looking forward to our next visit. If you’re considering booking a massage at the San Luis Spa, we highly recommend it—you won’t be disappointed!
The Good: My husband joined me for this trip since I was attending a conference, and his birthday is on the 30th. I would have missed celebrating with him, so I wanted to spoil him a little. We stayed on the 16th floor in a room with a balcony and an ocean view, and it was incredibly peaceful. We really enjoyed the complimentary evening snacks, fresh fruit, and bottled water, along with the morning juice, coffee, and muffins available exclusively for our floor. Having dinner, and live music was a wonderful touch. The San Luis Bar was fantastic! The highlight of our stay was watching Zoe, Adrian, Wesley, Corbin, and Conner at the San Luis Bar. They were absolutely amazing and are the reason we stayed at the bar so late Saturday night. There were also activities happening throughout the day, which made the resort feel lively and fun. Overall, the entertainment was excellent. Not So Good: We had lunch reservations at Blake's Bistro for 1:00 p.m. We were seated quickly and had already reviewed the menu, so we placed our order immediately. Unfortunately, it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. Since I was attending a conference, I only had about 10 minutes left to eat. Afterward, my husband handled the bill, but that process took an additional 45 minutes. Our server was wonderful and very attentive, so I don't believe the delay was her fault. I just didn't understand why everything took so long. The only other issue was the water pressure on the 16th floor. The toilet was difficult to flush, and the shower pressure was so light it felt more like a gentle sprinkle than a shower. Overall: Despite those few issues, Saturday night at the bar truly made up for everything. We had a wonderful time, and if given the opportunity, we would absolutely stay at the San Luis Resort again.
Paulina took care of the entire party of over 20 guests and was always smiling and stayed on top of service. She was a joy!
Zoe, Adrian, Kaitlyn. and, Wesley
The view
The safe didn’t work the phone didn’t work well could hear each other and the air conditioning leak water all over the entry floor
We booked the Family Suite which I didn't realize only has one small bathroom for a 6 person occupancy. Very inconvenient and created a bottleneck when everyone is trying to shower and get ready for dinner. Additionally it is on the 4th floor of the hotel right above the pool bar. It was really disruptive and played loud music until 2 am. I would not book this suite again. I would instead find adjacent rooms on away from the pool bar.
Great property. Consistent with my previous experiences.
Love the property, but the staff could be better. The person doing reservations was not helpful, but tried to sabotage our stay . Victoria Reservation Coordinator.
Ligging en luxe en gastvrijheid
Kamer is gedateerd
The only positive is its good location with nice balcony and great view. If this is all you want then you’re okay. Hotel $650 night for very outdated hotel. Room heavy with dust plumbing not good from commode to shower. Food only fair at best. Very nice pool. Have stayed here before but has not met expectations. Don’t eat at Gaido’s food fair and expensive more touristy. Seek out restaurants where locals go to. Look for B&B there are many. The Strand district is nice. We’re in our 70’s have stayed at many hotels over the years. Live 90 minutes from Galveston. You want a good experience then skip this hotel. Skip the Galvez also!
Pool was awesome, drinks were great. The scene was busy for a Saturday even though the weather was not the best
Paulina was a great server at the pool, very attentive and friendly. We had a great weekend at the resort and will definitely be back.
The pool bar staff, Jaden and Madison are hands down the best. Not only are their drinks amazing, but they have great suggestions on snacks and meals at the resort.
My husband and myself arrived and were quickly greeted by a young man whose last name is Blue. He insisted on helping us unload and helped me get everything up to our room and then bring it all in the room. He was so kind and personable! He was just the first of many wonderful employees. Then we were helped by Brandon at the front desk. He took the time to help us figure out how to resolve a checking in issue and was so patient & understanding. He then knew me by name when I had questions later in the day. Then when I was at the pool, Macy, my server. I was having a difficult time finding what I could order to due health restrictions and she immediately said “we can do whatever you need”. She proceeded to give me ideas of how to tweak things to fit my dietary requirements. Then she made a special non-alcoholic, fat-free & carb free healthy drink just for me! She continued to check on me and engaged in conversations with me when she didn’t have to. Then Caleb helped me find the correct area to be by the pool. All I saw was “adults only” and missed the part of for individuals who paid extra for a cabana. He ever so kindly and graciously helped me understand in a patient and understanding way. He helped me find another spot and get all set up. He could have been very stern and direct when informing me of my error, but he didn’t. I know there will be more individuals we will meet that are truly rock-star employees, but these are just a few from our first 10 hours here. I have never been here before, but I truly want to come back because of the beauty inside and out-BUT even more so because the people who work here are some of the best in the business!! I am not a millionaire, but they made me feel so important and special. Truly the best place to come for any type of get away!! You won’t regret it!!
Loved the property.
We were given an adjoining room which we didn’t request and not asked if it was ok when we checked in. There was a sorority get together that night, and the adjoining room was given to four women, that were very loud from about 10:00PM until early hours of the morning. We complained and nothing was done about it.
