Didn’t like the fact I couldn’t have a cooler which I need for my baby milk. Charged for PARKING? $27 per stay? makes no sense. The room floor was ridiculously dirty.

Emplacement face a la mer et de nombreux services à l’intérieur de l’hôtel. La piscine le 2eme jour quand les émeutiers sont partis c’était top.

Ils n’ont aucune notion d’hygiène. Le ménage est fait à la demande du client. Il n’a jamais été fait avec des serviettes non changées. Dans le frigo il restait un plat des clients précédents. L’ascenseur produit un bruit épouvantable genre tondeuse à gazon du matin au soir. Le 1er jour la piscine était devenu un lieu d’émeute avec des clients bruyants, pas classes et alcoolisés. Quant au personnel ils sont soit incompétents à l’accueil, soit antipathiques au bar soit fainéants pour faire le ménage. Enfin le centre ville est loin (10min de voiture) et le pier ne vaut pas le coup sauf avec des enfants en bas âge.

Perfecto pero hay supervisores o managers que no tratan con respeto a los huespedes e incluso a otros trabajadores. Esoecificamente el sabado en la trade en el area de la piscina . Muy rudo con mucha gente el señor que andaba vestido de negro ya adulto el señor, muy mal educado hasta para entregar ice crema a los niños.y maltrataba a otros trabajadores delante de los huespedes.

La vez anterior fue perfecto pero hay supervisores muy malos con los huespedes.tambien el sabado en la noche en el lobby un señor que habla espanol.

We had a wonderful time in Galveston, Texas the hotel staff was excellent, but we must say something about tommy the vallet he showed such elegance as he greeted my wife and myself we were both humbled by the attention and kindness he showed to us and that alone was a five star

I recently completed a 5-day stay at the Hilton resort on Galveston Island during the very busy 93rd ILA Convention. After a long and extensive business trip, the level of service I received here was absolutely refreshing.First and foremost, I must recognize Mr. Joris Dees. He is truly the most professional and generous person in the hospitality industry. Seeing that I was in a bind during this major convention, Mr. Dees personally offered me his own cell phone charger and block to use for the duration of my stay. That level of care is incredibly rare and saved my business trip. I also want to highly commend Mr. Mario at the front desk. His professionalism and exceptional customer service were remarkable during such an important stay. Every single encounter with him made me feel seen, valued, and understood. He also coordinated a maintenance request for my 3rd-floor room perfectly. The maintenance team at this hotel is extremely responsive; the minor issues were completely fixed before I even made it back upstairs. Additionally, a huge thank you to Miss Ashley Jimenez. Her impressive attitude and impeccable customer service skills made every interaction delightful. Speaking with her felt like catching up with an old friend.Long review short: I loved my stay. This hotel shines brightly because of the elite service provided by Mr. Dees, Mr. Mario, and Miss Ashley Jimenez. I am already looking forward to returning with my family for a vacation, purely because of how well these gentlemen and Miss Ashley took care of me.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Tommy in valet was exceptional. He went above and beyond to check on my everyday I was here. He works very hard in the heat and is friendly to every guest. The front desk is quick and responsive and knowledgeable.

Mario was the best he was outstanding throughout our stay. He was friendly, helpful, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you, Mario, for making our hotel experience so enjoyable!

Entire stay has been great. About to check out and needed a shipping solution. Spoke with Mario who along with the Manager thought out of the box to provide the perfect solution. Provided the perfect size box and bubble wrap. Great customer service. They looked for alternatives instead of saying no. Good customer service is hard to find in today's environment. The pool was amazing. Many floats and toys for the kiddos. Many chairs with sun for tanning or shade for my 82 year old mom.

Everything was top tier. We had unexpected fun with Courtney and her activities! Room was clean and the view was amazing. Corbin (bartender in lobby bar) was delightful.

We stay at this hotel frequently, but this is the 1st time I'm leaving a review because of the extra care delivered. Yes, it's a great location, has all the needed amenities onsite or within walking distance.. but Cindy found my missing item (sentimental) and held it for me for pickup. Not everyone will put the extra effort in and it was MUCH appreciated! Thank You!

Loved our time while visiting. The outdoor pool and bar stayed open until 11pm and the inside bar until 2am. The entire staff was very friendly from check in to pool side! Great job! We loved using the gym and having towels and cold water available. The restaurant staff was very helpful. They knew I wanted a waffle daily and had one ready for my daughter and I. I liked the Starbucks and hotel restaurant handy. We paid for the breakfast package which was convenient and helpful! I liked having access to the beach from across our hotel! We had plenty of restaurants around us as well. We had reservations at Rainforest Cafe as well as Landry's Seafood Restaurant. Landry's had the best food and service. Thank you for a great time! We will definately be back!

Hot tub didn't work well so we couldn't use it half our stay. The cleaning staff needs to check the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days and had to ask twice for refills.

We stayed at the Hilton Resort in Galveston, TX. We were greeted by very helpful and friendly valet attendants. Our luggage was carefully loaded on the cart. Both attendants were so friendly and anxious to help and gave us ice cold waters to counter the heat. As we checked in, the room type we had reserved was not available. Sarah consulted a manager/co-worker who was able to accommodate us with an upgrade at no extra cost. They were both so friendly and made us feel like they were treating us like family. We were also greeted with a selection of fresh cookies. We were just here for a night before going on a cruise. I think next time we will come a day or two earlier so we can enjoy the beautiful pool and swim up bar. All staff we interfaced with really were genuinely friendly. The management has done well to recruit and train staff that truly understand customer service.

Had a wonderful time here, Courtney one of the staff in charge of activities literally made the experience feel so welcome, from the my first night here with just the family movie night, she made it feel exactly like that and the hotel overall is just very family friendly

The overall experience was horrible. I was a storm and water came in the rooms. We had to change rooms 3 times before we decided to cut our stay short and leave. The power was out, which they should have had generators as backup

The room smelled like cat pee. We tried to have it fixed, but it just got worse. Maybe it was the chlorine, the deodorant they used or something else. It was bearable, but it did affect our stay.

The experience at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are traveling to the Galveston area. In addition, I had an issue during checkout and Cynthia at the front desk helped me get my reservation issue resolved.

I booked my reservation through booking.com and choose the pay at property option the hotel started trying to charge my card the morning of my check in. I was traveling from another state Thank God I locked my card because if the transaction would have went through without my permission it would have taken money from me I needed for other plans. I called the hotel that morning to confirm yes I did choose to pay when I arrive and there would be no issues but they continued to try and charge my card. I get to the hotel to check in my reservation was canceled. The staff was friendly and fixed everything at check in but the hotel should not have tried to run my card or cancel my reservation due to my booking being pay at check in option. Check in was at 4pm I arrived at the hotel at 3pm

The hotel is overpriced I felt like I could have went down the street to the Holiday Inn Express and they would have served me breakfast as well

The elevators hadn't been inspected in over a year and you could tell, the whole parking is overly expensive especially since the parking is always full and you have to literally search for a parking spot. The way you get charged is also horrible

We had a great experience at the hotel & resort & convention center for the StarQuest Nationals Dance Competition. It’s located near several restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean, and the food on-site was really good, especially the pizza! We had a balcony room, right by the pool and had no noise issues, even with the balcony. The valet, Tommy, was honestly the kindest and most helpful! We got to see him every morning into the afternoon when going back and forth from the hotel to the convention center or the pool. He was always quick to help or offer bottled water. Thank you, Tommy!!!

Staff (no tall of them), room not cleaned, elevator not working at check in (with 4 suitcases, 4th floor), check in line of almost an hour. Purchased drinks/food bought at Hilton store in the hotel not allowed in pool area.....!! Bistro has a complete different menu as on the website. Check final bill as we were overcharged almost $200, they corrected when I went to the reception desk.

I’m scratching my head about how/why this property is considered a resort because it’s definitely not resort quality. At their price point, I expected a lot more. There is no dedicated loyalty member check-in line and the front desk area is poorly designed — it only takes 4 people in line to block the hotel entrance for people coming and going. The Diamond food and beverage credit is $15, which pays for the ***continental*** breakfast. Also want hot stuff like scrambled eggs and potatoes? Gotta cough up $25. Orange juice? That’ll be $5.95. Mind blowing. I got in the “king” bed and immediately knew it was a queen. Front desk confirmed my suspicions (and also confirmed their queens are actually fulls). I have never experienced this with other hotel brands. Two of the three elevators for my wing were broken, someone parked their beat up old pickup truck in the dedicated EV charging station parking spot, and there were kids playing in the 21+ adult area of the pool. It was like the Wild West. Our room was clean, the AC gets cold (but is very loud, which some folks may not like but I do for the white noise aspect), most of the employees were nice, and the location is good, so I suppose my visit wasn’t a total bust. But I would not return and do not recommend.

Electricity was out for several hours. Also, water leaked into room and under the floors so when I stepped on some of the boards in the floor, they squished and water came through the spaces. I tried cleaning with a towel, and towel was visibly dirty, which meant the floors were dirty.

Swim up bar, grotto, great bartenders like Corbin. What made this trip incredible? Peggy. She was kind and quick in greeting us and making sure our team had what we needed. You could tell she cares about the people she works with by the way she interacted with them. Peggy is amazing! Glad our conference was at this hotel.

This is by our favorite place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location has a lot of walkable restaurants. He staff is amazing...made a last min reservation and Mario and Victoria were wonderfully kind to me. They went above and beyond to honestly, make me feel like a VIP guest. We always stay here when we visit Galveston and will continue to especially when able to enjoy the beautiful pool area.

My daughter and I came for a little mini 1 night get away to help some stress. (Which it did😊) They were extremely accommodating, getting us checked into our room. All the staff were genuinely kind and friendly. They made me and my daughter feel so special. The room itself was a great value for the price, especially coming on a weekday and the room was clean and nice. The location was amazing. The beach was literally right across the street so we would hang out at the pool and then walk across the street for beach time. There are restaurants in the hotel, which was convenient. We had lunch at the pool. They also have a Starbucks in the hotel. There are lots of restaurant options in the area as well. We would definitely stay here again and hope to.
