לא אהבנו שני דברים- רכשנו חדר בקומה גבוהה עם נוף, וקיבלנו חדר ממש מעל המסעדה שנמצאת מתחת וכל הריח של השמן השרוף הגיע אלינו. ובנוסף חייבו 8 דולר ליום על מתקנים ופעילות שיש שם. חבל שלא מציינים זאת מראש או כוללים במחיר. דבר שלא ראיתי שהיה כתוב בבוקינג.

I had some food that we couldn't take with us so I offered it to staff. I was able to meet the manager of housekeeping who was very nice by chance and discussed room 108 and how horrible it is for it to be a guest room.

Room 108 location is horrible. We didn't sleep at ALL due to the slamming of doors, people waiting for elevator, people coming in and out from the pool and parking lot at ALL hours. Room 108 needs to be changed to a storage room and not for guests!

Room was located on 5th floor beach side above the pool area, which was excellent. Behind the hotel parking was well patrolled and spaces were adequate. Laundry facility was good.

The refrigerator was iced over with a huge chuck of coil ice, which provided minimal cooling. Maid service was a bit spotty; had to chase down the cart to get supplies.

The atmosphere and most of the staff had excellent attitudes, which made the stay a little better.

Some of the staff had bad attitudes and didn't provide adequate customer service.

Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, der Pool war sauber, es gab genug Liegen & es gab eine Bar direkt im Hotel mit Live Musik, Personal war hilfsbereit & freundlich

Das Zimmer wurde nicht täglich gereinigt (Kaffeetheke im Zimmer wurde dementsprechend auch nicht aufgefüllt) , Meerblick war nur gegen Aufpreis pro Nacht (worauf ich dann verzichtet hab) sowie früheres Einchecken, hinzu kamen noch zusätzlich Parkgebühren & Servicepauschale, also für den Preis den man ohnehin schon bei Buchung bezahlt hat plus die ganzen Zusatz kosten Frühstück war sehr mikrig (gab nur Toast, keine Wurst, kein Käse, nur Rührei & eventuell Bacon & Würstchen, man durfte nur ein Getränk gratis bekomm ansonsten gegen Gebühr) Balkon war der Parkplatz oder bei zweiter Etage auf nen Heizgebäude

We stay at this hotel often. It is well located on the Sea Wall and has a nice pool and a game room and an activity room for the kids. Love it.

It would have been nice to have our rooms with a door in between to keep the kids out of the hall and slamming doors going back and forth to room.

Easy walk to the beach, sheets and towels changed daily, staff generally kind and helpful, great ocean view, place to rinse off sand outside after the beach

It was nice and clean. The service at the pool was very good also.

My husband got called at work because an emergency and I had to come by myself because the property would not exchange for a different day. Sometimes men working in a plant have emergencies and the hotel could have switch days for us.

The kids Island free Kids Center was the coolest surprise of the whole trip to be honest. Nikki was on staff the whole time and did arts and crafts with my four and five-year-old while I got to relax and read. Oh no, the kids recreation would take the cake as the best part so that I can still enjoy my vacation with my husband. Big shout out to Miss Nikki.

This place is amazing for a family Galveston trip! The rooms were exactly what we needed and the amenities really set the experience over the top! Sandra in the hotel breakfast area was fantasic and really elevated the overall experience! The staff aims to make your life easier at every turn! Worth every dollar for what you get!

This is the cutest, most unexpected entertainment for my kiddos!! no extra cost they can do arts and crafts all day while mommy reads LOL WIN WIN. And even better there is staff in there to help them!!

Nikki is amazing, we had so much fun in the glow party. There is so much for kids to do. Son wants to come back!! What a great place for families!! They even accommodated to his wants to do things differently.

The hostesses at the Kids Island were awesome! My six-year-old granddaughter loved the crafts and the hostesses were amazing. We also really enjoyed the snow cones at pool site. Great time at the resort! Thanks for all you do for the guests!

The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The room was nice and accommodated our needs. The hotel was clean and all the personnel were very nice and courteous. Having everything close and available was a plus….swimming pool, dining areas and a gift shop for any emergent needs.We loved the snocones provided by Nikki and Pat ….we loved the karaoke at the pool. We really didn’t have to leave the premises, it was so accommodating.

More parking is needed. Especially when the restaurant/bar is busy because customers take all the spots for guests.

Hotel was nice and we had a view of the beach. There were no towels for the pool (they ran out) so we had to go in search of them. Room was very comfortable and looked nice. You do pay for parking and amenities. We woke up to 8-10 cars in the parking lot with broken windows and the police investigating.

I had a great stay and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was welcoming. A special thank you to Leila Thomas, the Cleaning Supervisor. She went above and beyond to make my family and i stay even better with her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Her hard work truly made a difference.I would definitely stay here again!

The staff here are amazing and exemplify hospitality. Lesa Moore on the housekeeping side truly has gone above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We are also super impressed with the hotel restaurant waitress team and bartending team. Well done!

Accommodating. All the amenities they offered were available. The pool towels were always stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the kiddie pool for my 4 year old grandson!

Booked with Booking.com. They did not tell that you would have to pay an extra fee for facilities, which is anything out of your room and also parking, so once it was said and done, after paying almost $200 for a room, it was an extra $26 to use their amenities( which I did not use) and parking. I figure that if you’re paying that much for a room the swimming pool, gym and parking should come with it. This isn’t the San Luis

Nikki and Pat were so awesome in the Kids island and made it so welcoming and fun while my toddler made a bracelet!

Our kids enjoy the activity room so much! Nikki-Pat are very kind and helpful with any activities. The breakfast is amazing as well. Got room service every day. Something that most Hotels dont do anymore. We will definitely be back

My husband and I will never stay anywhere else on the island. Today we’re here just the two of us which is always nice for a romantic getaway because they have everything we need …great bar, pool is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean.. not to mention that view!!! Rosa on cleaning staff is highly attentive and accommodating… I didn’t even have to leave my front door balcony to go downstairs to get more coffee creamer because she stopped me and said is there anything that you need Miss? (I had the do not disturb sign on our door as we will be here a couple more days) but she was so observant and thoughtful to even ask me if there was anything that I needed… after she got what I needed she let me know that if there’s anything else that my husband and I needed to simply ask her, she would be happy to help. This morning, as I sat on my balcony as I often do when we stay here, I couldn’t help but be so impressed with Toni the gentleman that cleans the pool and the complete area around the pool. He is meticulous…. Not only do my husband and I enjoy the pool when we come here together as a married couple, but when we bring our grandchildren, the cleanliness of the pool means everything. How amazing he is! Breakfast is marvelous, the food from room service is excellent as well!! my husband and I have stayed at nearly every property on this island and once we realize that nobody else even came close to this property, we don’t stay anywhere else now. I highly recommend this property, not only for its location, gorgeous views, wonderful pool, clean rooms, attentive staff, great food, but for the VALUE… my goodness, I watch people walk into that San Luis right next to us and think to myself… you should’ve came over here with us….you could have saved lots of money lol well done Holiday inn, IHG, Quinn, Rosa, Tony… all of you! Well done!

Our go to spot in Galveston! You can’t beat the value. Every room has a balcony facing the beach. I don’t know how the housekeeping crew gets ALL the sand out of your room but they do! The pool is gorgeous and family friendly. Nikki and Pat were the sweetest to my kids and made the best snow cones (included daily activity). Can’t wait to come back next year!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best outcome of a last-minute trip! We originally came for just one day, but loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay. Hands down, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and I'll definitely be booking again so I can bring my family back. The customer service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. A huge shoutout to Mike at the front desk, and to Nikki and Pat at Kids Island. They were so sweet to my kids every time they participated in the activities, and they truly made our experience even more memorable. A special thank you to the kitchen staff for serving one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had—and for making such amazing sweet tea! As a true sweet tea fanatic, I can honestly say it was some of the best I've had. And a big shoutout to the bar staff for making the **best virgin piña coladas**. They were absolutely delicious and became one of my favorite treats during our stay! The amenities and activities are perfect for families. There was always something fun going on, with so much to do for both kids and adults. The location couldn't be better—it's right across from the beach and just minutes from the Pleasure Pier, making everything convenient and within walking distance. This trip exceeded all of our expectations. What started as a one-day getaway turned into a longer vacation because we simply didn't want to leave. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can't wait to come back!

The elevator was messed up, closing too fast, getting stuck on floors. The line just to check in was too long, the bathroom flush pressure was horrible,

I went to the bar to have a drink and enjoy my Independence Day. Band was nice, food was amazing but one bartender Desiree was so rude to the other employees, talking to guest about other employees she "couldn't stand", and I even watched her shove the Asian girl, her vibe was just very hostel towards everyone. It made us really uncomfortable so much so that I had to move from the bar to a table. I would come back to enjoy the experience but I wouldn't want that energy around me or my family

On July 4th, I brought my nonverbal autistic child to the Kids Club Room for the tattoo fun.We did arrive to the Club Room at 2:29,but we were given attitude by Nikki - Pat. I understand that the activity was close to ending,but we were still technically there on time. Nikki- Pat were not kind to us. It felt like we were shooed off with a hand wave by I believe was Nikki. She was the younger worker.I asked," Do you have any more tattoos available?" She responded," No, we are out and we are leaving to the pool." She said this to my daughter and I in an aggressive tone of voice. My family and I come here every year and we absolutely love this hotel. The experiences with The Kids Club Room worker just hasn't been very welcoming.

One of the best IHGs I’ve been to yet. Great staff- always saying hello and making you feel welcome! The GM always talks to you when you walk by too. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Every room is ocean front for great views from the second you wake up. There’s so many activities to do around. Nikki-Pat made everyone’s day with the snowballs and great crafts.Great location to restaurants and complimentary bikes to stroll down the seawall. Can’t recommend enough. We will be back!

This hotel is very family friendly. Our kids enjoyed all the kids activities. Nikki and Umit were very gracious and welcoming to our childre to Kid Island.

Today I brought my daughter to the Activities Room at the hotel. My family also stayed at this hotel back in May, but this time I feel I need to leave a review because I was very disappointed by the attitude and behavior of one of the staff members, who appeared to be the supervisor of the Activities Room. Her name starts with the letter "N" and ends with "i." She made unpleasant facial expressions toward me, my husband, and our daughter. She also spoke to us using words and a tone that were inappropriate for speaking to guests. Her attitude and overall behavior were not what I would expect from someone working in a family-friendly environment. I truly believe that staff members who interact with children and families should be kind, patient, and respectful.

Umit was so friendly and helpful with the kids crafts! She explained and helped with each craft. It made a day inside a fun day! 2 of the 3 days the balloon and face painting lady did not show up. Very flustering that she was a no show and it was on the board.

Our 3rd floor balcony room was great! View of the pool & ocean. Location was good. Need to work on parking spots, would benefit from numbered parking spaces -give at check in! Less aggravation when no spaces available to park but paid for out of pocket!! Seemed to have Good Security patrolling in the evening. Breakfast is Great! Pool,bar and plenty for little kids set up to do. Pool menu food was good! Drinks were good!

Parking was hard to find in evenings,noone picked up trash towels ect in pool areas- alot of trash on the ground, outside pool/bar staff could have been a little friendlier and little better paced getting to and from( i went in three times looking for help ( noone ever saw the flags up on back of chair). Elevators are bad!!!! Wait wait wait and hope theres room to get on when door opens and closes in 2 sec. Always to full to get in.
